Wednesdays are the night I’m riding solo. C has to go back into work after I get home, it’s been a thing. So, tonight, I get here. The kids are chill. They’ve had dinner. It’s all about packing lunches and bedtime. What?!
So, I do that. Then I’m left with this time -
Which equals Yoga with doggo 💚
I even luxed with my newest obsession - Ayurvedic scalp massage 😍😍😍
And music 💚
Man I hope you loves are getting in what feeds your soul xx 💚💚💚
What is it that your soul is starving for the most? Have you ever taken the time to question? We are paying more attention to what we put in our belly than what we feed our souls with.
Please, my dear friend, do not mistake my asking as a means to harm your reasoning. I personally find a sort of interest questioning the deeper reasons of a person's way of thinking. Why, then, do you feel insecure of your thoughts? Truly I tell you, we are all human beings. I am no more above you than the ground I walk upon. My treasured companion, I encourage you then to ask yourself the deeper meanings to your ways. For if one is so set on staying stagnant, one will never experience the perspective of change - as all of God's living creatures are naturally born to do.
Cannot stress the importance of rest and solitude for an introvert with fibromyalgia. I spent my entire weekend mainly by myself and I FEEL RECHARGED. Nothing feels better than resting in my most sacred and comforting space without a single social obligation in sight. I got so many things accomplished in between resting and relaxing. My home feels so clean and clutter-free.
Gave some self-care not only to my home this weekend, but myself as well. After hangin at our pool for hours, my skin is so soft and tan. My body felt weightless floating there on the surface as I watched the cloud float by. I finished a book and did a ton of word puzzles. I even had time to edit some of my photography and be super creative.
“If you want to understand a society, take a good look at the drugs it uses. And what can this tell you about American culture? Well, look at the drugs we use. Except for pharmaceutical poison, there are essentially only two drugs that Western civilization tolerates: Caffeine from Monday to Friday to energize you enough to make you a productive member of society, and alcohol from Friday to Monday to keep you too stupid to figure out the prison that you are living in.”
