Hugs all the time. He just LOVES how your hugs seem to be different (and better) than anyone else's. Maybe it's because of your height or for the simple fact that you are you but he adores how warm and safe he feels in your arms. His favourite hugs from you are the ones that you either back hug him when he's distracted and put your chin on his shoulder OR when you hug him normally but add a kiss to the crown of his head. He falls more and more in love with you after every hug.

Lee Know

You know he's never gonna admit this but he loves the height difference. Your teasing gets 200% more efficient just because of it (but he'll kill anyone who points out how his ears are getting a little too red). When you guys were just friends but he already had a crush on you, he'd get truly flustered if you got closer than usual, like you were towering him - and he still does, he just likes to pretend he doesn't tbh lmao.

We all agreed that this man would have and love and support a taller s/o to the extreme. He's like your personal cheerleader, always making sure to let you know that you are BEAUTIFUL and he loves every single detail about you - your height included. The first to tell people to shut up if someone ever comments on the height difference with a rude tone. Like, he will NOT accept someone trying to say shit about your relationship, especially when it's something he loves so much.

Hyunjin

It doesn't matter if you're one centimeter taller or a whole ruler taller, he's in love and he thinks that your height makes you look ethereal even. If you're up to it, he'll definitely buy you high heels and encourage you to wear them on any occasion that's possible. Finds it kinda fun how he has to tilt his head up in order to kiss you and always ends up giggling over this, even after years of doing it. He's just that enamoured, can you blame him?

Han

Oh he's enjoying this a bit too much. Feel free to reach all the tall shelves for him and open every can/jar. He has the babygirl reputation for a reason lmao. Jokes aside, I think he'd really enjoy a taller s/o, no matter what your height is. Has literally no patience to outsiders "teasing" and making rude comments about this dynamic, he'll quickly shut them up. (Also, get prepared to lift him up if you're strong enough like that video of him with lee know because when I said he's enjoying this I meant it😭)

HE LOVES IT. You can't tell me that he doesn't get all flustered and giddy over the height difference, I won't believe you if you do. One thing that I believe he'd love to do would take mirror pics with you. Like, the way that you can see that you're taller in the picture just makes him smile for some reason (he's whipped). His phone's wallpaper is most definitely a picture of you two like that. I also believe that he thinks it's cute the way he has to tiptoe to kiss your cheek (it is).

You can be the taller one, but he's the one defending you and giving you the royalty treatment all the way. One thing that I think he'd love tho is to steal your clothes. So like, if you left a sweatshirt in his place or something like this, don't expect to have it back so soon. He actually loves how he is just kinda engulfed in your (indirect?) warmth and he has something bringing him closer to you even when you're not near. And he kinda likes to flex that "this is from my partner" lmao.

Other one to get all shy over the height difference but never let you know about it (actually, you'll know. It's just so obviously shown in his face, just don't let him know that lol). But besides the casual flustering state he finds himself on at times, he really doesn't mind it. I'd say he barely notices it. When he does tho, he finds you extremely beautiful, like those ancient greek statues, and even sexy if I may.

˚꒰ 🏹 DISCORD FORUMS TUTORIAL♡

i'm not sure if people have seen or tested out the forums on discord but i thought i'd make a tutorial on how i use it for roleplaying since i found it super fun and helpful for organization purposes!

so what are forums? discord describes it as "a space for organized discussions". much like threads, the discussions can be contained in one post which makes it easy to keep your topics in order. the part that i find most useful is that you can organize your post by tags and filter through them! now in order to get forums in your server, you will have to enable 'Community' on your server. so let's start!

♡ . ) first thing you'll do is open your server setting. there will be an 'Enable Community' that you can click on and it will take you to a page like this

♡ . ) once you click 'Get Started' it will take you through a series of questions and system settings. you will need at least one "default channel" where discord will send automated updates. this channel is necessary if you want to use forums.

if you continue with the default settings, discord will automatically create two channels for you: one titled 'rules' and another titled 'moderators-only'. the announcements made whenever there's an update as mentioned above will be sent to the latter.

NOTE FROM CUPID ! i personally like to make a single channel titled something like 'updates' and keep it locked. this can be done before or after enabling community, you will just need to change the settings to go to the new channel first.

♡ . ) once you have community enable, you're free to make all the forums you want! when you go to create a new channel, 'forums' will show up as an option like this

for this example, i'm going to show how i set up my muses' profiles for 1x1 writing server like a roster, but you can also do this for single muse / threads / sms / etc.

♡ . ) when you click into the forums channel you created, you will see a landing page like this. there are instructions on how to navigate the channel as well so feel free to read those as well! the first thing i like to do is create tags. you can open that setting by clicking either of these buttons.

(navigate to the 'Tags' section and click 'Create Tag' if you need to) it will open a popup box like this. i like to create a tag for every muse that i want to add to my roster and you're able to add 20 tags!

when you're finished, they will be listed as you see below. there are other options in forums settings that you can play around with including a 'default reaction' emoji, 'slowmode', layout and sorting option, age restriction and 'hide after inactivity'. all these are based on preference!

♡ . ) once you've saved your setting changes, you can leave this page and are now able to make your posts by clicking 'New Post' on the upper right hand corner.

this is where you're pretty much able to do whatever suits your style including formatting how you like and adding photos, all you need to make sure to do is add the corresponding tag to the post! once you're finished making it look how you want, you can click 'Post'

they will appear in the channel like this!

♡ . ) and by clicking on a post, you will be able to open it in a side view like this. if you want to see the post in full view, you will click the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the side view and then choose 'Open in Full View'.

you're now able to add more messages within the post! for me, i like to add stats of my muses and headcanons that may be useful when i thread.

NOTE FROM CUPID ! one set back i found is that you are not able to use threads within a forum post so it may get a bit cluttered depending on what you send in a forum post. so if you are wanting multiple different sections for one topic, i suggest creating a forum instead. for example, if you are wanting to add musings, faceclaim pics, headcanons and stats all for one muse, i would create a single forum post just for that muse instead to avoid having important info getting lost!

and that pretty much covers how i use forums for discord rp! i encourage you to play around with it to find a style and format that best works for you. and if you have any questions, you're more than welcome to send it to my inbox. happy writing everyone♡♡♡

Small moments with them (Heartslabyul, Savanaclaw, and Octavinelle Edition)

It's taking care of the hedgehogs with Riddle. Watching the little creatures run around and lightly nudge him. He holds them so delicately as he talks to them. You just watch in delight while holding your own small hedgehog. And then for a moment, he remembers that you're sitting there watching him talk to a hedgehog. His face goes slightly red in embarrassment as he looks at you. You let out a light laugh at his reaction and start talking to your hedgehog too. The embarrassment started to fade away as he laughed along with you.

It's baking sweets with Trey. Following his instructions for what to measure and add to the batter carefully. Filling up cups of flour and watching it spill out of the bag and float into the air. Taking multiple pans of baked goods freshly out of the oven and him reminding you not to burn yourself. He hands you the first piece for you to try and watches patiently for your reaction. The warm sweetness of the freshly baked treat fills your mouth and you hum in delight. He smiles as you cheer about the perfectly baked treat. Both of you decide to ignore the mess of flour clinging to your clothes and the floor.

It's posing for photos with Cater. He wraps his arm around your shoulders and pulls you closes to him. Holding his phone up in front of you two as he tells you to smile. He hold up a peace sign with his hand around your shoulder and snaps a bunch of pics. After taking all the photos he shows you some of the best ones and asks what you think. Only posting the photos you approve of, he tags them all #cutest besties

It's playing cards with Ace. He's won at least the past three in a row, and you're sure he's cheating somehow. But without proof you can't really do much. Still, you continue playing and watch his movements carefully. A few more turns pass when you finally see it. His hand reaches across the table to point something out to you when one of his cards magically disappears. He had a smug look on his face until you told him to roll up his sleeves. Protest after protest of his wouldn't stop you from catching him. Eventually, he sighed and rolled up his sleeves. A few cards fell onto the table and you started laughing. He pouted, but accepted his defeat that round.

It's going on late night rides on a blast cycle with Deuce. Felling the cold wind against your skin as you hold onto Deuce. He drives quickly, but you still feel safe. The scenery flies past you making the colors blur together. Moving so fast like this fills you with a feeling of freedom. Holding onto him tighter, you moved even closer to him. You're here, free, with Deuce.

It's being lazy with Leona. You both sat by the Savanaclaw pool. Neither of you doing anything, just relaxing. The warmth of the sun mixed with the sound of the water was the perfect environment for doing nothing. You looked over at the lion stretched out on the ground next to you. His eyes were closed but he wasn't sleeping. A bird landed on a chair nearby and chirped. Leona's ears twitched at the noise and you let out a small chuckle. He opened his eyes and stared at you with a confused but tired expression. Seeing that, you couldn't help but smile.

It's shopping with Ruggie. Browsing Sam's store for anything that interests either of you. He's already grabbed whatever it was Leona wanted, and is now looking around with you. Occasionally he'll point out some piece of clothing and comment on the price. Together you two also laugh at weird designs or ask for each others opinion on one's you like. When you pick out something you like he's already expertly haggling with Sam over the price and paying (using Leona's money).

It's being active with Jack. He's the best person to work out with. Always encouraging you to push yourself, but never further than you can take. Jack is there to spot you as you lift your weights. He's helping you keep count, giving you encouragement, and watching in case you need his help. His enthusiasm is contagious and you can't help but feel motivated to keep going. When you're done he's already handing you water and praising how you did. You may be tired and completely out of breath, but he's proud of you.

It's playing board games with Azul. He typically like's playing more strategic games, but after some convincing he could play a game that involves some random chance. As long as you tell him strategy is also involved. Still, he's won most of the games you two have played and you can tell his confidence is rising. That is, until the small element of random chance favors you. When you have the upper hand he is baffled and scrambling for some strategy to outplay you. You win the game, and he just sighs and curses his luck. Still, he congratulates you and asks if you want to play again.

It's making terrariums with Jade. He helped you gather the materials and plants you want in your terrarium. Together, you carefully set in the layers of gravel, charcoal, and soil. Then it came to the plants. Jade told you a little bit about each plant and even offered you some mushrooms to put inside. When the terrarium was complete, he proudly placed it upon a shelf in his room. Both of you smiled proudly at the new addition to the shelf. He offered for you to come with him to collect materials from the mountain next time. Of course, you accepted.

It's random hugs with Floyd. He rushes towards you the moment he sees you to give you a hug. No matter when, no matter where. The only warning you have is the call of your name when he spots you. You can't out run him if you tried because he is full on sprinting in your direction. Once he wraps his arms around you he is giving you the tightest hug you've ever felt. This is him being careful with his strength to not break your bones. Floyd does this every time he sees you, but if he's really happy he'll slightly lift you off the floor.

It's these small moments with them that makes everything in Twisted Wonderland more worth it.

I recently found your blog while working on some things for a Heisenberg fic, and I love it! It made me think more about this HC that I have about Urias and Heisenberg. Since you have a lot of posts that talk about the game files and things like that, I wanted to ask your informed opinion on this if that's alright?

My HC is that Urias is actually Heisenberg's father--not just due to the fact that the concept art and character models look too similar to be a coincidence (in my opinion; I'd also like to add that I've never found anything that confirms or denies (or even refrences) this anywhere online, so if I'm missing something, feel free to let me know!).

I always imagined Heisenberg being close to his father, who likely was the one to teach him everything he knows in terms of engineering (I almost wonder if his name could be Karl Heisenberg Jr., his father being closer in reference to the physicist he's based on than Heisenberg himself. I hope that made sense-).

I imagine Miranda took his father first, whose experimentation results were close to what she was looking for, but no cigar (pun intended), so her next best bet was to hop down the family tree to his son--which yielded much more promising results--giving us the Heisenberg we know and love.

This would definitely explain why Heisenberg is much closer to the lycans than any other character, and why he's able to wrangle them so easily, because he's related to one--even if the consciousness of that relationship is long gone.

I'm so sorry if I came off as weird or anything, your blog just really kind of livened-up my HC and my fic ideas in general, and honestly makes me feelnreally confident about it and wanted to know your thoughts. Thank you! :)

Honestly, my initial kneejerk reaction to this one was “Jeebus, doesn’t the guy have enough dads already?” But on a second thought, heck, maybe there’s actually something to this idea…

The info we get on the possible Heisenberg family from the notes from the concept art is all over the place, and concepts for Heisenberg’s father are the worst offenders. Sturm was supposed to be his real father, Heisenberg’s monster form was supposed to be his father’s, the village leader was supposed to be his father... I assume these were different ideas from different phases (or one was a step-dad?) but sheesh, how many dads does one guy need?

Meanwhile, the one thing we do learn about Urias (apart from the fact he seems to part of some extended Urias family) is that he was supposed to be the village’s leader at some point… but that’s where this whole thing might just get interesting. Because if Heisenberg’s father was meant to be the village leader, and Urias was also supposed to be the village leader… could there have been a point in development where both were true at once, and Heisenberg’s father was going to be Urias? (I mean, as well as the village leader, presumably.)

I mean, they’re both beard-y, grey-haired dudes with a love for giant hammers and long coats. It’s not for nothing that so many fans came out of the early previews for this game assuming Urias was just Heisenberg in lycan form. Those concept pics of Heisenberg's father in a trenchcoat with a shock of grey hair aren't a million miles from Urias' design either.

There's some plausibility to the idea of Miranda experimenting on members of the same family too, especially if they've got cause to claim descent from one of the four founders. I speculated as much myself about what might have happened to the rest of the Beneviento family in my post on her background. Heisenberg specifically strikes me as more the sort of guy who probably wasn't born in the village, given he names his monsters in German, mocks the very idea of his lordship (more on that here), and is clearly the least brainwashed member of the family. But that's interpretation ‒ there's nothing truly definitive either way.

You'd have a harder time squaring 'an engineer who taught Karl all he knew' with Urias' role as the village leader, though ‒ I have trouble picturing anywhere as superstitious, isolated and backward as the village being led by someone with that much 'outsider' knowledge to pass onto his son. RE has certainly tried to sell us on wilder things, but it doesn't really click for me.

As for Heisenberg's affinity for lycans, that's more debatable. He certainly seems to be commanding them at the start of the game (just to really cement all those lycan!Heisenberg theories!) but past that point, any lycan associations dry up very quickly. There are no lycans to be found anywhere in the factory ‒ just soldats, and moroi wearing mind-control visors (called ‘haulers’, but they’re obviously just new versions of the creatures you meet in Donna’s domain). Why bother putting visors on skinny zombie creatures if he could command lycans without them? Doesn’t really seem like Heisenberg’s ability to control lycans goes far beyond ‘stop’ and ‘go’.

True, Heisenberg does leave his Rose-flask in a stronghold full of lycans. But he also sends Ethan to that stronghold, where he has to fight and kill Urias himself. The idea that Heisenberg was ever close to his lycan-dad is going to be hard to square with how casually he sends someone to kill Urias, or how pleased he seems that Ethan succeeded. In Heisenberg’s mind, lycans are nothing so much as they’re expendable – Urias included.

So as far as the finished game goes, I think it’s probably reaching to suggest that Urias (of the extended Urias clan) is related to Heisenberg, who so casually throws him in Ethan’s way as a test. But the possibility that maybe Urias was going to be a Heisenberg at some point in development is a better explanation for the fact the Urias-clan are so big into hammers and trenchcoats than any other explanation I’ve heard yet. It’s certainly no crazier than so many other headcanons I’ve heard around this game.

But speaking of the Urias-clan, let's cover the other Uriasi you can find around the game. Urias Strajer (the bigger version of Urias with the mace that Chris fights near the megamycete) is supposedly Urias' older brother ‒ something the concept art wants you to know so badly it's mentioned on pictures of both of them. So if you still want one of them to be Heisenberg's father, the other is presumably his uncle. Heck, maybe Strajer could be Heisenberg's father, and Urias could be the uncle he never liked very much (despite his excellent taste in hammers), if you want to explain Heisenberg's lacking reaction to Urias' death. Some of the game files for Strajer are labeled 'village elder', which also points some kind of connection. Chock up some more evidence of Miranda experimenting on members of the same family too!

The two axe-wielding optional bosses you can fight in the sawmill and over Claudia's grave are apparently Uriases too ‒ Urias Drac, specifically, though you'd only know that from RE.net, where you can see stats for how many of them you've killed in Mercenaries mode. Personally, I only realised they were supposed to be lycans at all because you can one-shot them with the magnum if you unlock the 'special customisation' that 'does extra damage against lycans' ("extra" apparently means "10x" in special-customisation land). But presumably they're based on the same unused design from the concept art of this one 'lycan' out walking his varcolacs too.

Are these Uriasi too part of the greater Urias-family? Who knows ‒ that one's up to you. Their bodies, with that swollen weak point on the back, do match the model for Urias Strajer (shown below). In fact, I'm pretty sure all the Uriases use the same base model, just with different clothes, armour and hair. So there's some shared DNA in there somewhere (even if only in the sense that recycling a good model saves so many hours of development time).

The name 'Urias' is apparently a term for giant in Romanian, which checks out. Strajer, meanwhile, apparently translates as 'guardian' or 'sentinel', which tracks with the fact Strajer's job is to guard the megamycete. 'Drac', meanwhile, seems to be the same word you might know from Dracul (dragon or devil) or Dracula (son of the above) ‒ though I am also amused that google translate tried to tell me 'urias drac' means 'huge fuck'. 'Giant demon' may be more on the money for that one. Either way, all this etymology does strongly suggest that 'Urias' is more a description than an actual family name. Which is somewhat reassuring, because nothing I've read about Romania suggests they put surnames first.

Probably just to annoy me, personally (because I absolutely will overthink this shit now you've got me started), one of the models used for regular-vanilla-Urias is randomly called 'Gregorio', a name that shows up nowhere else in the game. There is a Grigori ‒ he's that old guy who gave Ethan his first handgun before the lycans dragged him away.

I really do not think we're supposed to take it that Urias is a lycanised Grigori, though ‒ that's rather too big a transformation in not nearly enough time. Otherwise, 'Gregorio' is neither Romanian or German (like both 'Karl' and 'Heisenberg' are) ‒ it's Italian or Spanish, which is just confusing. One of the four founders (more on them here) did have a vaguely similar name ‒ Guglielmo ‒ but I don't think that's really close enough to mean much either. 'Gregorio' could be the name of a developer who worked on the file once, for all I know.

So where does that leave us? Honestly, nowhere very exciting. None of the evidence of this greater Urias family was actually in the playable game (notes on concept art and names you have to find on an unrelated website are very tenuous canon at best). Still, Urias and Urias Strajer are similar enough that it's reasonable to assume they must have some sort of relationship. So take all this as you will (or not at all).

Introduction

I’m approaching 2,000 followers, so I figured I should add a more detailed introduction and maybe a mission statement of sorts 😏 First of all, this is an NSFW 18+ tumblr. That’s a hard rule. Absolutely no rights are taken away in the story, so no Handmaids Tale nonsense or any Stepford housewife robots. The story will include plenty of plot elements and themes that involve traditional gender roles, but it’s religiously secular. Since it begins with the 2028 election cycle, it will bring in real-life political dynamics and politicians, and briefly explain in the first chapter how a “Patriarchy Party” with a young charismatic JFK-esque candidate could use a unique policy position, effectively design and distribute propaganda, and take advantage of the electoral chessboard to defeat a Democrat and Republican at the polls (a certain orange-haired buffoon will be kicking and screaming out of the White House after losing his bid for a third-term). It will also have a twist ending that everyone might find surprising!

I want to brainstorm on this story with you girls! How well-written and stimulating can erotica potentially be? Can a male author write believable female characters when it involves a plot as strange as this? Let’s find out together. Bonus points if you fit the stereotypical feminist college student model and have any input. Speaking of which, I’ve received a lot of fan mail on here, but unfortunately I still have yet to come across the tumblr feminist of my dreams: the blue-haired, braless, feisty, fire-breathing gender studies major who wants to crush the patriarchy. CATS Suncoast Broadway Dinner Theatre - Hudson, FL (with Pics)

Thanks to Suncoast Broadway Dinner Theatre for renting our set and having us for the past two weeks in the Junkyard. It's always a delight working with Chaz, and we got to know an incredible cast and crew. I'm not sure how many hashtags I can use so I am going to include the cast list here for pics that arrive since all of you are so talented at Tumblr (the cast is so intrigued by Superfans, btw!)

We had many challenges with a dinner theatre because the stage is very small in order to accommodate tables. As well, actors serve patrons so I needed to design an outfit to protect the costumes and suspend disbelief. And from patron reactions, we've been told this is one of the best openings, if not the best opening, and the best show/costume the theatre has had to date and hoped we'd be back, which was very, very kind of them.

Mungojerrie/Macavity split track, played by Andre Spathelf-Sanders and yeah, this jerk who keeps showing up. I adore the whole cast to bits truly but we're planning on cosplaying Green Lantern together and he was the first to get my "Archer" references in the make up classes. If it's ever of interest, I'm happy to sometime talk about my make up classes and what to do when there are "mistakes" with what I call the Bob Ross Method.

Demeter by Iraya Catalina is making an argument that maybe all Demeters need to be Filipino because she slays!

Jennyanydots and her incredibly supportive husband. She was one of the most delightful people to work with, hilarious, fun, loving, amazing hugs, and just a joy. I've never had a Jenny almost refuse to take the Gumbie suit off (which is a huge compliment). What a joy.

David was the make up designer for all of the designs except Bombalurina's, and I taught about 5-hours of make up classes.

The magic of an incredible LED screen came into play as there were cool effects, such as a first person POV of a cat going to the junkyard (bringing YOU into the show) and the sky changing with the hours of the day, the moon, everything. The lighting designer Dalton Hamilton was wonderful and provided the following photographs. All costumes designed/created by David and myself (The Costume Asylum/Siegert Creative):

I am going to try to get some rehearsal pics and one of the funniest bloopers ever but I hope this is a nice start. Happy Sunday, I'm happy to be home, but I miss these kitties so much already!

I doubt Sebastian will do anything "shocking" with Annabelle, because the reaction to their relationship wasn't extreme, and I'll die on the hill that the things he did with Alejandra, were just stubborn reactions to the worst amount of hate to date, not because she was a special one in his line up of gfs (considering how quickly he moved on, I feel validated in that opinion). Unless/until Annabelle is seen with a rock or bump, which might very well happen. He's in the typical "gotta settle down" age for men and she seems to be a more reasonable choice than Alejandra. The most telling thing he has done that could be a sign of him being very serious with her, is that he brought his mother to the wedding of Annabelle's brother, instead of just attending alone as Annabelle's plus one.

Thank you for your view on this and I think a good portion of people would agree with you. Anyone is free to add on or comment on this as well.

If I may add my personal two cents on this, I’ll break it down. About the first part, comparing it to Ale and how he felt about Ale, I think that does depend on a lot of how you viewed their relationship at the time. Quite a lot thought similar to what you just stated, but there was a good part of the fandom that was convinced he genuinely liked Alejandra a lot and some even thought they were going to get engaged and thought she was going to be it, but probably wouldn’t last.

I think that what happens when Sebastian gets a new girlfriend is that people tend to kind of forget how the one before some people also thought it was serious, too. Does this make sense? I hope it does. It’s like the second a new woman enters the picture, that memory wipe thing from men in black is clicked on.

But going on that train of thought about Ale/Annabelle, I think they might be equally as serious BUT what calls my attention to it being very different as well and making Annabelle sometimes feel more “concrete” , even if it’s just for the time being if it doesn’t work out, is her age/work ethic/social media use/goals etc.

I think she’s a more realistic idea of what he looks for for something longer term and some fans see that as well, and it’s what gives most people the impression that it feels more serious than Ale. That and the fact that they seem more “private” as well, but I stand firmly behind that the reason Ale was projected so much on the web was because she was trying to get PR from him AND she used Social Media a lot more than Annabelle does. I think that gave it a bit of a -serious vibe, but even then a lot of people (at the time) really were convinced him and Ale were serious, too. We shouldn’t forget that. I think that’s what shocked most; the rapid decline after the clothing hanger pic.

About a pregnancy, who knows. I always feel really weird speculating about this topic just because having children is such a sensitive topic to some. Even though he might say he wants to be a dad and she might say she wants to be mom (not sure if she has), that’s the limit of the info they’ve publicly shared unless they say something additional. Some women have trouble conceiving, and sometimes maybe they don’t even want to have kids together or it has not even come up in discussions yet. There’s so much behind it. I always feel weird unless there something evident like a obvious uterus bump (not bloating. These piss me off too. I’ve seen woman that from speculation over bloating would’ve have five kids by now lol) or a very very clear sign or statement. But I do understand speculating if it would happen I guess. We know he wants to be a father one day. Does he want to be one now? We don’t know. There’s so little we actually know about the topic. Does he want one with Annabelle? We don’t know. Fans can only guess based off things we’ve seen publicly shown which isn’t always reliable.

Fans can always speculate and guess based off things we already know but the only real confirmation is it if actually happens, which so far I don’t see it has. Obviously, none of us really know him or what he actually thinks. We can all just take personal guesses. I’m not sure if I see him wanting to have a child yet, but that’s just me, so it means squat lol.

When was the last time they were even spotted together?

welcome to appmon ep 27, aka “the single gayest episode of digimon so far”

for one, we get gay people existing in the background:

(i believe the caption mentions a partner, which the English sub omitted for the sake for brevity? something like “a long-awaited offline meeting❤️ with my partner❤️❤️❤️” while in the next pic she complains about her partner being late)

and then we get a romantically-coded outing between Haru and Yuujin, with Gatchmon literally lampshading it:

when Haru inevitably has to go deal with the monster of the week, the trope of the protagonist having to keep secrets from loved ones comes up, with Haru ultimately deciding—like he did in episode 18—to not tell Yuujin about appmons, lest Yuujin be dragged into danger:

i think it’s worth noting that this type of narrative tension never happened with Ai, the girl Haru supposedly has a crush on—but it’s the second time that it had came up in the relationship between Haru and Yuujin. the pacing of the scene—the beat of Haru looking pensive under the sakura trees as the camera zooms out—adds weight to the moment.

Also, while the cherry blossoms serve as an indication for when this episode takes place, it’s could also be seen as romantically-coded (esp. pink blossoms). While romance is far from the only thing that sakura blossoms symbolize, I think it’s fair to say that the creators are conscious of the romantic symbolism.

(i’ll get to Yuujin’s declaration of protection in another post, as i think that ties back into appmon’s thesis of “what makes a great protagonist” and the Haru-Yuujin dynamic regarding that question.

More Stuff to disprove that MoriHaru “fact” this time authors notes from the manga

The more I see people share this “fact” that Mori was the original endgame with no sources the more I feel compelled to find info showing the opposite even if I’m really just shouting into a void. my first post on this subject is here. Anyway even if you don’t care stick around for some fun Ouran trivia.

First lets look at the popularity polls there were three over the course of the series.

This was done early showed in the first volume. and was apparently done after the first 2 chapters (they’re called episodes for some reason) where released in Lala magazine. and the creator was SURPRISED by this if Mori were the original Love Interest wouldn’t that make her happy?

Second one in the second or third volume and was done original after the first 4 chapters. And she makes no remarks for Mori but offers sympathy for Honey.

This was the last one done after the 50th chapter.

This was the creators response and she appears genuinely happy everyone seems to love the main pair as characters. However (and this goes into the next part) the creator notes she was surprised since most letters are about the Twins and Kyoya and that the poll mightve been altered had they kept the twins as a unit. This leads into that Tamaki was NOT universally loved by japanese fans.

In one volume the creator drew out some fans requests she thought were fun most of them involved Mori

The final bought of this was given to rapid fire requests of Haruhi insulting Tamaki

In fact these were the only requests of Tamaki drawn, this suggests that there weren’t a lot of Tamaki requests funny or otherwise. Fans disliking Tamaki is actually brought up a bit

Twins Fans in particular seem to hate him. But the creator seems rather sad for Tamaki than anything else, even suggesting older fans tend to like him more which yeah i can see that.

Fans reactions are talked of now and then this one was closer towards the mid point of the series

Twins fans seem very vocal and are rather consistent throughout the series.

This was rather early like vol 4 I think. Again I would think that if the story was dictated by the publishers as the people perpetuating this “fact” insist wouldn’t this tell them to go with Mori???? Considering he’s popular with doing very little?????

This pic was made by the head character designer of the anime which could mean the anime was purposely kinder to Mori in the plot than the manga itself.

But lets go into what the author has said of him directly

So I’m fairly certain this is what started everything, though from what I’ve read the creator had a lot of ideas in passing, but notice that this says he makes her groan. I think this means he’s difficult to write.

Which appears to be true as its kinda a running joke with her staff that he doesnt really have lines.

This was from the final volume. She talks about what sort of person he could end up with a refined traditional girl being best or a tomboyish free spirit. I guess the second you could maybe put Haruhi on to (though I think japanese idea of tomboy is different to americans) but also says that should Haruhi and Tamaki have kids first he’d be the most happy. She also shows some things she wanted to do with him but didnt and its really just face gags.

Now lets get into the notes for tamaki

This was from volume one and while she admits to some changes to his character (for the better I’d say) It appears she was more definitive in what her plans with him were.

I think this is the creators way of saying Tamaki is the easy to write.

She also seems grateful that his personality adds a brevity to heavy situations.

There was a good deal of mention that Twins fans in japan really hated Tamaki and the creator always seems to defend him at least a little.

I can’t remember when this one took place in the story but I mean its interesting wording.

The manga had 18 volumes, and this was when the big story lines dropped. The creator was well aware that a good chunk of the fandom did not care for Tamaki and seemed excited for his reveals and you can see that as early as the vol 1 character sheet.

This was on the game and showcases that she really does like drawing Tamaki.

The rest of these are on the development side.

So the Beach chapters were made after fan requests though not they way they had wanted. Suggesting that fan input did effect the story but not always the way intended by fans.

So not related to Mori or Tamaki or the romance. But I think it is important to note that this is the writer’s process of sorts. Rather loose.

This was for the chapter about Haruhi and Tamaki in Boston as a couple. And she states it was something she always wanted to draw.

Last one is her talking about how happy she is to complete the series. Over the years the creator has stated she was happy with what she made the statement hasnt changed and I don’t think its a lie, implying she did just what she wanted. The idea that she had a HUGE plot change forced on her doesnt seem to be here. One could say that she HAS to act like she likes it because of contract but I dunno, overall I don’t think its good to assume that sort of thing is happening in regards to another person. You kind of have to take them at face value and Hatori Bisco has always been rather consistent in how she feels about the series, that she is happy, that she did what she wanted, and aside from this one “fact” (which again no one sources) there is no hinting that that her publishers ever interfered outside of an anime news network interview in 2019 where she said they had doubted TAMAKI working out but got her way in the end.

Again I welcome anyone who uses this fact to tell me their source, and I’ll take the L.

I've been editing my experiences so much and honestly it has improved my mental health by a lot. I have done it slowly so I didn't realize how different it is now but I basically live in a different world from the one I used to. I am going to share the things I did to turn my internet into a single player game made just for me, and maybe it will help your mental health too!

I downloaded an add on that turns off all comments on basically everything, I turned off tracking on everything I could and reset my phone's ID every week or two so ads are now hilariously random (I know there are still trackers/cookies everywhere but it really does do a lot in terms of ads at least), I have slowly stopped buying from places like Amazon and shien, I block everyone and everything and I have content filters on anything I do. I no longer mindlessly scroll and if I get bored I either read a random Wikipedia page or play minesweeper or other minimalist games (hard ban on phone games with micro transactions). Hard ban on Reddit and other social media. Hard hard hard ban on any comment section, no matter what there will always be something there to piss you off and that is by design. I have also recently changed how I interact with Tumblr and it made me feel way better. No "mandatory" daily stuff and nothing too raw, I genuinely feel the the act of being observed will change the experience so I feel that raw stuff needs to be private (for me) lest I edit my own thoughts for the consumption of others no matter how minor. And finally, anonimizing myself everywhere possible. No face pics, no real names, burner emails and usernames. I know this one especially is not for everyone but removing that connection to myself was very freeing. I was able to say and do things without worrying about how it might impact me if someone saw, and more importantly for me, it freed me of an avenue of unhealthy external validation. I used to find myself very hung up on pictures I would post of myself and feel bad if I didn't get a certain reaction and even posting pictures because I thought they would get a good response or not posting ones I thought no one else would like. I think that comes from a lack of self esteem I have and I found that removing myself from that kind of scrutiny let me find confidence in myself and my appearance again.

So yeah! I know it's kinda rambling but over the course of the past year or two I've really started to find the boundaries that serve me and it turns out all that stuff was, to put it lightly, a complete vibe killer. There was a lot of other stuff I did for mental/physical health that also really helped but my online experiences were a shockingly huge part of that. It took a long time to get here but I really like it. I don't compare half as much, I'm much more mindful of my time, my self talk is better, and I have a lot more confidence in myself.
