Hello! I’m Ladders :)
I'm just here stylizing some fnaf characters and mostly drawing the evil green rabbit like an animated villain.
Basically, I always loved animated shows and movies. They're why I started drawing when I was little, and I still watch and pull ideas from that kind of stuff to this day. Classic Disney's my fav, so you might see me talking about it sometimes. Anyways, since villains are my favorite and since I've starting drawing fnaf stuff, it's mainly been art of Springtrap, which you'll see a lot here.

Krita. It's free and it "works," which is all I ask for.

This answer will change around: currently, no. I've been meaning to, honestly, but just haven't felt collected enough to make a comm sheet and whatnot. Hopefully I'll be able to update this soon though.

Q: Why do you draw [insert character] like that?
I normally get this question about Springtrap, but I like to make designs that lend themselves more to 2D animation, which means simplifying a lot of things and hopefully still being able to get the point across. Too much detail and it becomes complicated very quickly. Fnaf animatronics/characters lend themselves really nicely to stylization because of how simple in concept they are overall. They're also left up to a lot of different characterization potential, not just from their simple designs, but the fact that they don't really get super hard-established personalities. Basically, all of that comes together into me enjoying taking a base concept and turning it into something you could potentially see in some older hand-drawn cartoon. As far as *specific* choices for how I draw *specific* characters, I feel like those would each need their own posts especially for Springtrap since I draw him the most. I know I'll have to make that sometime.

thank you for allowing people to vent their frustrations or discuss whats been happening in your inbox, a lot of qsmpblr from what ive seen wants to ignore anything besides brightest side outlooks and they shove everything else down by labelling things like the spreading of the latest updates as "doomposting".
i personally havent seen any actual doomposting (expecting the worst possible scenario, ex. "the server is over and will never come back") from anywhere besides a small handful of people who hate quackity on twitter, the closest i can find here is sentiments like "yeah i dont know if ill be back to actively watching every day even if everything is fixed" or "im so disillusioned at this point that im not coming back until we get concrete proof things are better" where its people personally deciding to (often temporarily) leave the fandom, not any actual doomposting or discouraging anyone to still follow the server because "theres no chance anything will ever be fixed".
so yeah, thank you for allowing stuff besides the most positive of takes in your askbox <3 im too scared to post stuff on my own because of the toxicly positive mindset on qsmpblr, so being able to vent my frustrations in your askbox really helps!
Tbh I don’t blame people who are complaining about what they see as « doomposting ». When you love something you don’t want to wake up every morning learning about another set of bad news on it, instead you want to believe that everything will be fixed and that you will soon be able to enjoy it like you used to.
However the situation IS bad. People are talking about negative things because they ARE happening. And it isn’t just some random drama like this is a situation that affected negatively on people, could even be considered breaching some laws and, also, be the end of the project. I don’t like saying that, obviously, but it’s the truth.
Saying it’s joever already won’t do any good but so will blindly hoping that things will be better. Tbh I’m happy that I haven’t seen much of both of these takes except from the extreme sides of the fandom (out of all the anons I got since it started very few were extremely negative, no hate to them btw feel free to vent in my askbox i just chose not to post them).
People can stop watching qsmp altogether, or just keeping to their fav ccs streams, some can chose to keep watching like they did before for X reasons, others are straight up leaving the fandom, it’s all fine, we just need to understand everyone’s perspective without jumping to judgement.
Side note : One thing I won’t tolerate here is hate on the admins who spoke up though (this + the usual assholery aka random hating, bigotry etc)
Personally I haven’t watched a qsmp stream since the situation was exposed but thats just because I don’t want to support the project rn and can’t enjoy the content knowing what we now know. That’s just me though !

and i get where you're coming from; it is nice to get a reply to a comment you left! but expecting one back feels a bit entitled, doesn't it? you already got a fic FOR FREE. you leave a comment to thank them for this gift. and then you expect them to thank you in return?
i don't mean to sound ungrateful because i can promise you, it's not like us writers are getting swamped with comments LOL. i have many writer friends and no matter for how many years we've all been actively writing, a single comment will still make our day. no matter how small that comment is! just a simple "hey, i loved reading this" or "it's 4am and i'm reading this instead of sleeping" or a silly keysmash shows us that someone out there really enjoyed what we wrote.
idk but hearing you say you stopped commenting simply because you never get a reply back left a really bitter taste in my mouth. maybe the person behind the fic is out of spoons, maybe they simply forgot to reply, maybe they're keeping your comment in their inbox and stare at it lovingly because it gives them fuel for the entire week. the reasons for it are endless. not getting a reply to your comment doesn't mean the writer is ungrateful. it's just a really shitty thing of you to say.

soo, do you have any fav hc on how immortal merlin would go through life?
i personally like to think that he would truly live. by that i mean he'd surely have dark and reclusive episodes, maybe going temporarily insane or spending a century trapped in a tree but there'd also be the light and hopeful moments. he would travel the world and learn about other cultures and other types of magic, find and lose new friends, adopt some children and both magical and non magical creatures along the way. he would grow more powerful and feel more responsibility for everything happening around him. after trying to alter history, perhaps successfully even but still failing to save so many, he would eventually come to the conclusion that he has no authority to decide the course of history for people that are born into entirely different centuries than he was.
at some point he would come back to his home island and marvel at the world changing so rapidly around him. he'd still have his soft spot and empathy for the humans surrounding him, but he'd start wondering if he ever was or ever would be one of them. the rise of science and technology would give him an excellent chance to keep himself busy and learn new things, even aged about one and a half millenia.
in the year 2023 he would live as his younger self in a small house overflowing with books and plants in rural wales. if you look close enough you might be able to spot a few cats that may or may not be dragons roaming around. a network of robotic davices spans through the whole house, that magically connected truly make it a smart home. nobody is quite sure how merlin does it but he has by far the most reliably working wifi in the whole village which is open for anyone to use, so teenagers gather in his garden like flocks of birds around food in the winter. merlin himself usually can be found there enjoying a cup of tea in the evening after days of meeting old friends, working on five projects in four different continents at the same time and trying to keep the sudden influx of dragon populations under wraps. it is a good life and he is enjoying himself as much as he can without the government noticing that there is definitely something off about him.
on bad days, when the years weigh down on him and he feels like a stone chained to his ankle is dragging him down to the bottom of his memories, he turns into an old man and visits the not-very-lakey-anymore lake of avalon to allow himself to dwell in the past for jusy a moment.
on his way back a truck drives past him way to fast but merlin doesn't even bat his eye as keeps on walking....
aaand we've come full circle, yay.
so yeah, these are some of my thoughts and man, there are so many more, i hope you enjoyed i guess?

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the fight between Remus and Harry in DH. Because throughout the series we see Remus manipulating Harry by bringing up James, but for the first time, Harry brings up James in a situation that is the most relevant, and Remus goes BERSERK.
hello 💜💜 i’m so sorry for how long this has been lying in my inbox but i’ve got so much to say and not enough time for it 💀
i don’t think anything i say re this will come as a surprise to anyone who knows me lol i feel like that fight was such a good opportunity to show, in narrative, remus at fault without excusing his actions and the text still missed the mark. i’ve talked before about this, but remus always gets off scot free with no consequences or even reproach for any of his shitty actions and i think this comes under the same banner. iirc even hermione’s like ‘wtf harry’ because of his response, right?
but here, we see him acting shitty in a manner u absolutely cannot ignore. i mean, there’s a point to which ur willing to ignore a grown man’s agency and actions, right? and i feel like ‘abandoning ur wife and unborn kid in the middle of a whole war’ is waaaaaay past that point. we can talk all day about how he thought he was in the right, how he might’ve actually brought misfortune to them by virtue of who he was, but that still doesn’t excuse what tonks would’ve been going through, esp considering her own dad pulled a similar stunt.
you bring up such a great point re james. remus had absolutely no problems invoking his name when he wanted to guilt trip harry (i keep saying this but their conversation in poa horrifies me every time i think about it) but the moment he gets it back? it’s all ‘oh woe is me how dare u’. kinda makes me think remus never had to deal w the consequences of his actions (which like,,,am i wrong tho) bc all the misfortune he has, he attributes to his condition and never his own actions. he basically operates on an external locus of control and the people around him keep enabling it. (ofc a lot of this is conjecture + influenced by what i’ve seen in fandom bc we (i?) don’t actually know that much about him & his motivations from the text) and i think when he actually is held accountable, he’ll go straight on the defensive bc he doesn’t know how to handle it.
imo remus is super, super self destructive and not that capable at maintaining healthy relationships. for all that people go on and on about james and sirius being assholes and bullies, remus is actually so much more insidious in terms of being ‘toxic’. i really think harry was so right for doing what he did, not matter how much shit he gets for it, because someone has to. his friends won’t, people in authority aren’t, and he gets to go through life blaming everything except himself.
i feel like this is super unsympathetic to him lol but that scene in dh is actually one of my favs just because someone is finally saying something to Saint Remus and the fact that it’s harry, of all people? u go bby!!! it was also such a thoughtless action on remus’ part bc he’s telling this to a literal orphan who grew up abused and neglected. also!! the way it portrays him on the complete end of the spectrum as james (who we know is the ‘embodiment of bravery’ in the text bc of his actions therefore, remus is an absolute coward which, self professed but now proved further) which really makes u understand harry’s pov too, i think. because he idolised his dad, ykno? and he’s heard remus talk about their bond before, and we know harry’s judged people by comparing (and associating) them to his parents right? so it just makes remus come off even worse.
ultimately, i think it was just another selfish + narrow minded action in a long list that we can attribute to remus. can we explain them? sure. but does that justify it? i personally don’t think so, but others can obv disagree. remus wasn’t thinking of tonks or baby teddy or harry when he offered to accompany them, no matter how much he tried to spin it that way and i think that lying (to both others & himself) is v characteristic of his personality throughout the whole series. he’s a serial manipulator and no one’s safe from it, not even him.

• If you had to choose (which you do because I’m asking) what is your favorite scene in the acotar series? If you’d like to tell me your other maasverse favs as well, feel free.
My favorite scene is probably in acofas when Feyre and Cassian drunk decorate the townhouse and Azriel comes in and fixes everything then gets caught guzzling Rhys’s wine. The rest of that night obviously doesn’t go too great, but I love that glimpse of their happiness and Azriel letting himself be fully present with his family for once.
• What do you love to do when you aren’t writing or reading?
I’m omitting a few things to ensure my anonymity, but I really enjoy spending time with my family and friends and taking my dog on long walks and cooking 😁
• What is your favorite food? What is your favorite beverage?
I struggle to answer these honestly because I love food, but one of my favorites that I’m currently craving is French onion soup. For beverages I think I have to say coffee ☕️

Soooo excited to hear you have an outline!! I'm here for whatever you've got stewin' up.
Okay, I am putting a cut here. Major ACOTAR, TOG, and CC spoilers below said cut. You've been warned, reader.
I think my favorite ACOTAR series scene might be Nesta wielding the sword for the first time and saying "never again". I needed that in my life and it's a moment that always makes me cry with joy and sorrow and righteousness not only for her, but for myself.
Honorable mentions that would also be top choices if you weren't making me pick just one: Chapter 54 (ACOMAF), Cass and Az saving Feyre and Lucien through her reunion with Rhys, Suriel and "leave this world better than you found it", Cassian's death dance at the battle at Summer, and basically the entirety of the battle of Hybern starting with Rhys's speech and getting increasingly better with every single twist until Cassian's speech (still the best Nessian moment). And almost any time Lucien or Eris speak is a high point for me. I just relistened to the scene where Lucien, Cassian, and Eris were meeting with Vassa and Jurian and when I tell you I was on the edge of my seat the entire time I truly mean it, I love getting the brothers interacting with each other and Lucien putting Cassian in his fucking place. ACOWAR is my favorite book, and then ACOSF.
My favorite TOG moments are when Aelin and Aedion reunite after she saves him from the King, and when Dorian and Chaol reunite after his collar is off and Chaol falls from the tower. Also losing the 13 to a white yielding with Asterin bear-breasted fucking that grandma up, and Aelin giving Gavriel the blood oath postmortem. Ruin me Sara Janet, just ruin me.
Crescent City favorite moments: Bryce with the vacuum and Hunt getting out of that crown of thorns and tearing the place to shreds. Danika helping her make the drop, and Bryce seeing the pack by the water's edge (I don't trust that shit anymore for a gods damned second after book 2 BUT IT WAS STILL NICE WHILE IT LASTED). Bryce helping Hunt in the shower as well. The interactions between Flynn, Declan, Tharion, and Ithan in book 2 while they're doing research made me giddy. "That lightning thing" Hunt does will always fucking get me.
OKAY SO NOW THAT I'VE ONLY JUST ANSWERED THE FIRST QUESTION.
When I'm not reading or writing, I really love cooking. I like experimenting with new things, and typically watch a show or listen to a book while I'm at it. It's about to be soup season and I'm very excited! I'm also learning sous vide and hope to use that more. I also really enjoy creating things, and will paint or craft most of my Christmas gifts if I have the time. I also enjoy taking long walks!! I go for "book walks" where I go full on Belle and literally walk like 3+ miles while reading my book. I've been told it's skill by those who have witnessed it. It's a great time!
Favorite food. If you can't tell I'm bad at picking just one thing. I'd say my favorite dish is frutti de mare. But every year for my birthday I make myself surf and turf. I also love sushi and the process of making sushi. I'm still trying to get the rice juuuuust right. My favorite drink is a good coffee in the morning and a Manhattan at night.
I think Eris smells like a hot flames on a brisk wind with a touch of nutmeg. Not very smokey though, it's that close to the roaring fire smell that you can feel burn your nose hairs. And he leaves behind the crisp sweetness of decaying leaves. The scent of death and a coming rebirth, like Eris will be for his father and his court.

as a writer,
do you have… like, certain boundaries you want not crossed by your readers when they interact with you?
so im in this other fandom, right? (it’s a book series fandom but anyway that’s not important)
the other day this one writer from that fandom announced they’d take a hiatus from writing, and they explained why.
turns out, the writer felt insecure every time they got a comment from a reader where the reader theorized things. like what the reader thought would happen in the next chapter, or what they thought would happen to character A, etc. the writer said it was like they were being pressured to take their fics wherever the readers wanted them to go…
… and i had no idea that writer felt that way. i felt so guilty because i was admittedly one of those readers who liked to send asks to this writers inbox with theories. the writer reassured us that it wasn’t our fault, that they should have established boundaries and made clear what type of feedback they didn’t want directed their way, but i still felt so guilty because after all, i was still one of those people driving them away. because they were one of my fav writers from that fandom.
so im wondering if you have any specific boundaries you don’t want crossed?

That's so sad! Both that you readers lost an author you love and also that they were so stressed!! I hope they take some time and space and are able to come back feeling good.
But personally I love the theories and analysis and the fears and all that emotional outpouring. To me nothing will ever beat the comments at the points in my stories where people are trying to figure out what's going to happen next --especially in like Lowlander and Meadow when things were nuts, those theories and guesses were so goodto read!! It means people are hungry for your story! That's amazing to me!
I definitely don't feel like I have any boundaries crossed. Occasionally a comment will leave me feeling sensitive or defensive but I feel like that's valuable for me to work through, not to ask readers to behave differently, and it's usually rooted in my own insecurities about my work or self! It's been good practice for me to take a breath and look at where the defensiveness actually comes from, ask for clarity if I might be misunderstanding, and also recognize that it's completely fine if that person actually does just not like my writing or that particular story or a character I love. The world doesn't end. I don't have to stop writing. I won't be able to please everyone and it means occasionally disappointing people! Uh well! (I type this casually as if this isn't one of my main personal demons in life 😊)
Though actual mean-spirited comments I could do without. 🙃 Occasionally I'll get something where I feel like the person who wrote it forgot I'm a real person on the other side of the screen, one who works really hard on these stories that I share for free. Or someone who dislikes what I did in a story enough they need to tell me they're unhappy and no longer going to read... I understand that sort of feedback if you're like a paying customer at a restaurant who just changed their menu and you want them to know it's not well received, but when it comes to free fan content on the internet, I think it's kinder just to move along if you no longer enjoy a thing someone is making. But even that I try to look at it from the viewpoint of "this person cared a lot about this thing and they're disappointed it didn't go the way they wanted to; that's flattering even if it also sucks to know you disappointed someone."
Just to be clear, I don't think that's the same thing as being like "omg if JK doesn't tell her about the drugs I'm going to riot" --that is hysterical and I love comments like that! Also different than people being like "I'm so anxious about these chapters, I'm going to wait until you're further along and then catch up in one go." 🥰 Take care of yourselves, I write hard stuff sometimes!
ANYWAY this was a long way of saying: nope, no boundaries being crossed here, and I'm not going anywhere! Give me all your theories, predictions, life stories, tears, fury, etc. 99.9% of the comments and interactions I get are nourishment for my writer soul 🥰🥰

Fuck this one was so sad? Magnus’ tragic back story always gets to me because the boy deserves so much love that he never received from young. I’m so happy he has Alec to hold him, love him, console him and remind him that there’s nothing wrong with his behaviours, that as long as he is open to healing, he will always be with him.

I’m very soft for these bitches too. I think it’s v common amongst military spouses (or any other relationship where one person’s job is considered more imp) to feel secondary to their spouses duty. And Magnus is going to feel this throughout because it’s inevitable. But Alec is obv a bigger simp and makes it worth it.
I can’t wait for you to read the next chapter. It’s not going to be an easy chapter to write (I think). So it’s not going to be easy to read either. Get ready for emotional damage byeeeee

Conundrum Sphinx or Enigma Sphinx
Hey there, welcome to the inbox!
Oh you should adore the Obscura head from the Streets of New Capenna set, Raffine. She's a WUB Sphinx too!
So let's start with Conundrum Sphinx. It's a 4 power, 4 toughness Blue Flyer for 4 energy, which is already really awesome, and then it's got its sweet little bonus ability.
Whenever Conundrum Sphinx attacks, each player chooses a card name. Then each player reveals the top card of their library. If the card a player revealed has the name they chose, that player puts it into their hand. If it doesn’t, that player puts it on the bottom of their library.
Ooooo I see good potential for a spell here! I'd go about this one as a spell to draw resources one needs to oneself. I'd implement some divination, as that would cover one of the two Blue costs for it. Perhaps divining to find out what it is you need or to get ideas of avenues to explore for attaining those resources? Then I'd have another Blue cost and two generic costs for the spell to cover, which would probably be correspondences to enhance the divination or to attract things.
And now for Enigma Sphinx, a 5 power, 4 toughness White-Blue-Black Flyer for 7 energy. Not only that, but it has Cascade, which allows you to exile cards from the top of your library (deck) until you exile a non-land card that costs less than Enigma Sphinx, which you can then cast without paying its cost. Then the Cascaded-and-exiled cards get put on the bottom of your library in a random order.
...That reminds me, I need to put together that Green-Blue-Red Cascade deck that's been living rent-free in my head.
And for its final ability, whenever Enigma Sphinx gets put into a graveyard, you instead put it back in your library as the third-from-the-top card. Talk about a rebound.
This would be a fun idea for a very annoying protective servitor that just keeps coming back when "destroyed". I'm thinking howlite, sodalite, and obsidian for the colored energy (White, Blue, and Black, respectively, though I use howlite for both White and Black energy) and then other protection correspondences for the four generic costs? It would be fun and pretty tough right off the bat.

learning english when i was young definitely gave me an impulse to try to learn more languages because if english is weird af and i managed to learn it, what's to stop me from learning more? i also had a lot of free time during the pandemic so i sat down and forced myself to actually try to learn french. [i ironically went to paris without speaking french lmao] i'm always so much better at reading words and understanding them than hearing them spoken out loud. i think portuguese will be the next language i tackle after i get fully comfortable with italian. listen, it's all fun and games until i have to start pronouncing things lmao. i always just default to spanish pronunciations because that's how my brain works. second of all its been days and i am still processing like this has never happened to me before ?? usually i am a lil :// until the rest of the day when i finish a sad drama but with this im just so heartbroken still. yesterday during a big mental breakdown (unrelated to the drama i am not THAT crazy ok) i realised why it hit me so hard and i think its bc i somehow relate to sieun (anger issues and all /j) and so i somehow projected into his character and so when it all went down with suho i just couldnt deal w it ?? I LEGIT HAD A MINI PANIC ATTACK it felt like it was happening to me 😭😭😭 like he was such comfort for me. he broke the cycle of loneliness and stereotype for sieun and i just really adored each interaction they had. the fact that they would both kill and die for each other makes me bawl my eyes out.
but when it all comes down to it, i understand beomseok, i really do, but i also dont. i dont think ill ever forgive that character, i just cant. i cant imagine how it must have felt for him and i couldnt be able to deal w life either if i was in his shoes, but my brain just cant grasp the lengths he went to hurt people that did nothing but care for him and tried to help him with everything. he's a complex character for sure, one you have to analyze to get, but i dont have it in me to have a single ounce of sympathy after the ending of the drama.
but to think that the parents and the adults were truly at fault here ?? beomseok being abused, sieun abandoned and neglected, suho not really having parents around either (i read somewhere that they are canonically abroad or something?? not too sure), the policemen not taking sieun seriously at first, the teachers seeing the shit happening and not doing anything to stop the bullying... where were everyones parents when all those kids got caught up w the gang? its truly sickening and heartbreaking to think that this truly could be happening anywhere and to anyone.
and it broke me so much bc i could accept beomseok drifting away from them and stuff, but to gang up on suho on his fucking birthday? sieun cooking and decorating with young yi and taking pics for her insta (i strongly believe her and sieuns friendship is SO underrated they were so cute together) and both of them just hid it from everyone to protect suho,, their sunshine ??? the poor boy must have been so confused and lonely on his bday and it makes me :( and then when he saw sieuns cast and went to avenge him ?? I read something about how suho always fought only in self defence but when he saw sieun hurt he crossed the line and fought with the purpose of hurting somebody only bc his best friend was put in danger and that- that broke me.
also i find it funny how i found the drama through a clip on tiktok where jihoon cried at watching the last scene where sieun breaks the window and i was like oh this should be just the right amount of sad for me rn and then i got emotionally damaged. :,)
yeah anyways my fav trope is found family and FUCK all of those who hurt my sunshine bc now im forever heartbroken.

same !! took me days to get over this too. *hugs* i'm sorry about the mental breakdown, i hope you're feeling a bit better now !! oh the projection must've made the whole thing twice as hard. again, sooho was such a comfort character :( his happy go lucky nature was such a breath of fresh air esp when the themes occasionally got dark. i want that dynamic for me actually (to kill and die for each other, yes). i usually find it corny but it was so well executed here.
oh bumseok :( i think it's valid to simultaneously understand him but at the same time, find what he did unforgivable. i get where he was coming from and how he was just looking for a place to fit in—where he wasn't looked down on. idk how to describe it but when he started misreading the situation (like that whole bit abt sooho not following him on ig but following young yi), i think something in him snapped. he was so fed up with being helpless at home and at his previous school that when it happened a third time, he did everything to get back and lashed out.
I 100% BELIEVE THE ADULTS WERE ABSOLUTE SHITTIEST NEGLIGENT FUCKERS AROUND. like???? leaving a scamming syndicate to be dealt with by high schoolers?????? bumseok's fake ass politician dad??????? sure, sieun's parents were 'present' but emotionally distant, like check on your kids bitches or not have them at all god dAMN. i thought some of the aspects of the bullying were exaggerated bc from where i'm from it never gets that bad but hearing that to an extent, it was truthful about it just left me dumbfounded. how could parents allow things like this to happen under the radar? it's unbelievable and heartbreaking to me.
yeah, i thought bumseok would just join his cool boy squad but he really had to do whatever the fuck he did :D my girl, i know you read my tags and i was vile as fuck towards him but at the time i was just so angry too. also yes! youngyi and sieun's friendship <3 i wish they had more time </3 and honestly, if bumseok didn't do a whole 180, i think the four of them would make such a cute squad. like the way they would protect each other??? hmp :/

ohhh, i've been meaning to watch that vid of them reacting to whc1 but at the time it didn't have subs. jihoon's acting was so fucking effective like??? the sadness the eyes of that man has can sway me to do anything !! so sorry that you got so much more than just a little sad bout. heading into this drama blind was like bringing a knife to a whole war.
this show made me realize that tragedy could strike any pairing on any show and i wouldn't bat an eye but have the same happen to a found family and then i'm instantly destroyed.
