Welcome to OCtober! The chance to draw your OC’s! Do you have an OC? Do you want to create an OC? Do you think they deserve more attention? Do you want an excuse to draw them more? Well, your good friend Bulk is here to tell you a secret— the ‘OC’ in October stands for Original Character!

I created this because I’d like to get into habit of interacting with my own original characters more often! The prompts were chosen to develop less fleshed out characters, but were kept vague enough to still be creative with more focused ones. Here is the run down:

1. The point is that it’s an original character! I suppose this can be an OC created within the context of a preexisting show, but I’d truly love to see your original material. I care about it, a lot actually! It deserves attention!

2. It is not a challenge. Pick one day, pick a week, do every other, do them all, do none— it’s whatever you’d like!

3. There are no material restrictions! You can create work digitally, traditionally, or you can even write! Write a blurb, write a description, create a diagram, do sketches, etc. etc.

4. Tag art/writing you make with these prompts as #bulktober22 so I’ll be sure to see it! I hope to reblog/like as many as I can.

5. Have fun! I’ll be doing them along with you with my own OC’s!

More OC rework art! I kept Mocha's design mostly the same, I just added cute round eyebrows and outlines to her ear and hair markings. Her toe beans are also visible here, they weren't visible in any artwork I had made of her prior so people who drew her with paw pads visible had to guess what color they were. Now she has an established paw pad color!

I had a lot of trouble with the peace sign. I had to look up "furry peace sign reference" in order to get it to look good. Drawing paws in poses can sometimes be harder than actual hands due to their shape!

I’ve noticed a few of your VoxValVel posts. It’s a rare ship that I haven’t seen enough of! What are your thoughts on their dynamic? Ik that VoxVal is canon but I’m hoping it’s possible that Velvette will be a part of their relationship in S2! Thoughts?

Hey, Nonny!

Oh, my dark lord, this is a ship that I am so invested in. Veeshipping is something that I cannot get enough of. I love them as a polycule and I will die with them clutched tightly to my chest. As for VoxVal being canon, I couldn't be happier with that, but I really hope that season two shows us how Vel fits into their relationship more! I have so many thoughts on this subject, so please bear with me.

Also for the record, this is so late because I didn't have access to the internet and I knew I'd have too much to type on my phone.

Valentino is ultimately the main sub in the polycule, though he likes to switch top/bottom dynamics whenever he's allowed. Velvette can dom or sub and is often referred to as Lieutenant Daddy when she takes over Valentino's domming for Vox. She is a switch as far as top/bottom goes, as well. Vox is a dom through and through, though he can be convinced to switch from being a majority top if he's in the mood or wants Val's attention.

Vox and Valentino have been together for decades before Velvette joins them, but her integration into the group is insanely easy and she brings an intensity to the relationship that the boys appreciate.

Vox still plays the placating card with Val because Velvette doesn't have the patience to do it for him all the time.

Valentino is a major alcoholic and is always sipping on something, whereas Vox and Velvette are lighter drinkers in comparison. This doesn't mean they don't like taking care of him when he's too drunk to do anything for himself.

Vox is super huge into aftercare and loves pampering his partners. Velvette picks up on this and begins to share his love for it, and both of them spend a lot of time babying Valentino.

Velvette likes to livestream things that they do, be it sexual or otherwise, and Valentino and Vox always make sure they can capitalize on it as much as possible.

Vox has called Valentino Bunny for the better part of the last four decades, and Velvette calls Valentino Yoshi (because of his tongue). Valentino calls Vox Destello (Spark in Spanish) and Velvette Muñequita (Baby Doll in Spanish). Velvette calls Vox TiVo, and Vox calls Velvette Darling/Dearest/Dollface.

All three of them show their genuine love and care for each other in their own ways and these are all ways that work for them. Their main theme when it comes to this is acceptance (of who/how they are), and this most often gets expressed through kink.
