So you know how skz just had their fan meeting?

Than how do you think skz will react to their crush (member reader) who coming from an underground dancing and rapping past, knowing how to freestyle really well in both categories and being a pro with b boying/dance break, who usually doesn't sing a lot (very uncommon for him to sing) and has a voice as deep as felix's if not deeper 👀 when he raps, decieds to show off his singing to everyone and their mama where when he sings reader has this really strong, drop dead gorgous, stunning, show stopping oper-ish and/or falsetto-ish voice.

& a/n:: idk how the fanmeeting went so... its short.. 😭

You entered the stage with your members, smiling and waving at all the stays that were infront of you.

The eight of you performed multiple songs that were in the 5 STAR album, such as ITEM, S-CLASS, and more. Your part was loved by stays, your deep voice echoing through the stadium.

After the performance, you all decided to rest and play games prepared for you. You sat down on chairs and played the first game, Q&A session.

You each opened a question that was on a piece of paper and read it out. Your question was, ‘ could you tell STAY about your past? ’

You chuckled at the question before answering it.

“ Well, I come from an underground rapping and dancing. That was my training before joining JYP, it was way more fun there than it was at JYP's. I could show you guys some freestyle rapping and dancing.. ”

You smiled at STAYs as they screamed their lungs out, ultimately ending with you laughing and falling on your knees.

You cleared your throat before starting your rap, that mainly consisted of complimenting the other members while you danced to whatever beat you made up within your rap.

Everyone loved it. You were sweating and panting, pushing your hair back a little as you smiled, enjoying the atmosphere you set.

As the fanmeeting went on, you were asked to sing a song by Felix. You chuckled, rubbing your arm with a nervous smile.

You decided to sing; (insert song). You liked this song alot, so why not show STAY your favourite song while singing it?

You put the microphone in front of your lips, smiling as you tried to hold in your laugh. The DJs at the back played the songs' karaoke version, and you started singing.

Your deep voice echoed through the whole fanmeeting, you couldn't hit a few high notes due to how deep your voice was, but still, it was a performance.

After you finished singing, the entire stadium of people screamed that rung in your ears, even you couldn't hear what the members were saying after that.

Even your mates were surprised.

“ (name).. you should get more singing lines.. ” Han was head over heels for your singing voice, really, everyone was.

While the members complimented you, your cheeks heated up and you started to get a little shy. Receiving lots of compliments isn't really your thing, other than the first times people hear your voice.

You were happy after the fanmeeting. You met STAY as you high fived them, took their gifts and even recorded a few videos for them.

BANGCHAN had you cuddled in his lap, typing away on the keyboard and carefully testing out rhythms with an effortlessly attractive focused expression. however it seemed he took hint of your watchful eyes, filled with adoration as you spent the extra seconds soaking in this type of chan. “was i zoning out?” he voiced, brows knitting worriedly as he hugged you closer—placing a feather-light kiss on your cheek. at this moment the mischievous opportunity overtook you, wiping off the peck he landed. chan almost immediately placed another, than another until your face was absolutely bombarded with his kisses. “now you’ll have to scrub your face if you want to rub them off, don’t resist my love~” he sang, chin resting atop your head; carrying a pouty expression. “don’t be upset channie, i was joking..” you giggled, turning around to cup his falsetto sad face. surprisingly, he gave each of your cheeks a last kiss. “for good luck.” — “c’mon..chan..”

HAN throws a fit when you use the back of your hand to brush off his kiss to your lips. “heyyyyyy, don’t do that… do you not want my kisses?” he slurs, making it hard not to laugh. if anything, quokka looked betrayed. his chubby cheeks puff out defiantly, crossing his arms taut to his chest while he deeply sighed—silence overtaking the room. “does my breath smell?” han randomly proposed, unable to contain his bubbling chuckle. “was it my lunch? AH. i need to go brush my teeth.” he rose up, beginning to hurriedly walk to the bathroom. you grasped his shirt in a quick manner. “i’m joking i’m joking, it was all a prank.” you eased, han releasing a breathless whine before collapsing on top of you. “jisungie.. get off..” you struggled, squirming beneath his in-denial frame. “that’s so mean y/nnie.. you’re paying for dinner.” he huffed. “okay fine dinner’s on me.” the struggle continued, han finally getting off. “don’t do that, let me love you.” he whispered softly, big brown eyes carrying so much emotion. “i promise baby.” you hugged him, smiling to yourself at just how precious he was. the nickname you used making his face ache red. “never can get used to that.” this time you both laughed.

CHANGBIN would huff, eyeing your fingers reaching to brush off his affection. you were halfway through the newest godzilla movie ( that changbin had thoughtfully asked to watch ), and as boredom set in, you took it upon yourself to pester the man of principles. his disregarded kisses happened a few more times before he grabbed your wrists, using his strength to push you back on the couch till he was hovering over you. “you’re ruining the movie for me, now hold still while i finish what was started.” nonetheless, he kept his promise, littering every inch of skin he could find in his kisses. yet no matter how hot the muscular man looked above you in that moment, he was still your dwaekki and you couldn’t take a single thing he did seriously for a set amount of time. so now you were literally cracking up as he kissed your neck, the man smiling against your skin. “ticklish much?” he mused. “please! oh my god i’m gonna pee my pants.” you chest shook, changbin relieving his efforts. “ruining the mood.” he playfully grinned, turning off the tv—hovering over you once again. “but didn’t you want to watch the-“let’s focus on not killing the mood, what do you say?” wow. hot.

FELIX gasped dramatically, eyes narrowing to gaze at you in dismay. “do you not love me anymore?” his face crinkled as he fake cried on your shoulder, quietly interlocking his fingers with yours. meanwhile, the silence that followed resulted in a stubborn felix to take the reins. his breath ghosted your neck as he landed a soft kiss, yet he didn’t separate. instead, suppressing his deep burst of laughter. “if i don’t let go, can you wipe it off?” he smiled cheekily, the movement tickling your skin. “ah! i can’t do it anymore you’re freaking me out.” you shivered, rolling your eyes at the satisfied bbokari lifting his brows. the smell of burning overtaking the situation. he shot you from his position. “the brownies! they’re gonna burnnn.” he sang with a panicked lilt, placing the nearly burnt batch on the counter. taking a testing bite, his eyes narrowed. “try one.” he handed you a brownie, carefully watching your expression. “they don’t taste burnt, pretty yummy if you ask me.” you licked your lips, felix leaning forwards to thumb a stray crumb from your face. “messy eater.” he taunted, resting his chin atop his hand. “be quiet.” your reaction stirring a soft giggle.

HYUNJIN, as usual, was working on a choreo. after a bit of time he took a break, sweat dappling his forehead as you handed him a water bottle to cool off. his small kiss of thanks was a response, to which you wiped it off easily—finding the opportunity to pull a little stunt. “huh?” he blinked up at you, lips still attached to the water bottle’s edge. “what was that for?” he gave you a no-nonsense look, genuinely confused as to why you wouldn’t accept his peck. “what?” you tilted your head innocently, acting as if nothing had happened. “you wiped off. my kiss.” he pouted, rising up to squish both of your cheeks in his hand, squinting accusingly. “i don’t know what you’re talking about.” you shrugged, his downright confused face almost making your facade crack. you could see the gears turning in his mind. he shook his head fervently, returned to practicing and a few minutes later sat on the floor. “jinnie?” you asked, quirking your brow at his behavior. “i lost motivation. my love has been rejected.” he dramatically sighed, now fully laying on his back. “now who ever said that?” you hunkered down to straddle him, leaning down to land a deep kiss. “woah woah woah woahhh..” he gaped, his brown eyes blown with amazement. “it was a prank jinnie.” — “then i’ll need repayment to get back my motivation.”

MINHO kissed back. he enjoyed being the one to receive rather than give, just to see how needy you’d become if you hadn’t been given attention in a bit. leaving the scenario as the perfect time to tease( a key lee know habit ). so if anything he’d be the one to wipe off your kisses. but today was your day for revenge, after all this pain and suffering due to minho’s cruel way of getting what he wanted, you were taking control. “min… can i get a kiss?” he glanced up from his phone to where you were typing on your desk. “now you’re asking, well how could i say no?“ maneuvering his head to softly kiss your lips, eyeing you as you used the back of your hand to discard his kiss. fueling a realization that it had never been this hard to maintain composure until this moment. “what is this?” he used his foot to swivel the chair back to where he sat on a spare stool. “acting like a brat? is this your way of getting back at me?” his stunning eyes read you like a book. every time. “i had an itch.” your excuse proving more pitiful than you’d anticipated in your head. “on your lips, then please, let me help you.” bewildered, you shrunk against the chair with a squeak—minho advancing into you at an alarming pace. pulling away with heavy breath. “not fair.” you huffed, minho looked too pleased with himself.

SEUNGMIN was far too innocent for this trend, his kind gestures and ever patient sincerity left no room for mean pranks. but nonetheless, the chance to test it lay bare and it looked pretty tempting. of course, you knew you’d fold unbelievably quick since seungmin was too adorable to resist. he’d just taken you on a date, and your last stopped was now checked off the list. the stop in question being an old family-run restaurant you both frequently visited in your early dating years. it held a special place on your heart. with full stomachs and dazed smiles, puppym’s kiss to your forehead reminded you of the horrible prank. it was even painful to reach up and wipe it off, and even more so painful to watch his reaction alter. he almost looked worried. “was there something on my lips?” he touched his bottom lip, you immediately folded—hand holding onto his wrist. being too guilty to confess, you leaned upon a harmless white lie. “i think it was some kimchi.” you sheepishly smiled, earning a wholesome beam from the literal puppy. guilt. it hit hard.

JEONGIN being similar to seungmin seemed too much of a sweetheart to pull into this situation, but you really wanted to see what he’d do next. so, you waited as he planted a kiss to your nose—sharing this tender moment whilst watching a newly released series on the couch to occupy empty time. however he wasn’t even effected. in fact, he helped you wipe your nose off. “the popcorn i made was pretty buttery, be sure to get it all off so you don’t get oils on your skin.” you couldn’t even respond, there was no room to respond. “i wouldn’t want my popcorn to ruin your face.” his eyes crinkled happily, holding your face in his hands. giving up, you melted into this act of sentiment. yes. how could you even think of doing this to your cupcake jeongin? wrapping your arms around his neck, you pulled him into a hug. “im such a bad person innie, im sorryyy~” you mumbled into his shirt, the boy unable to make out what you’d said. “what was that y/nie?” thank god he didn’t look further n to the topic. “nothing baby, this episodes really good by the way.” you nonchalantly chomped a piece of his popcorn. buttery indeed.

besides what happened with woojin (seriously fuck that guy) has there every been any moments where someone got incredibly protective of someone else? and was worried of the other mate?

Your wolf snarls, perking its ears at the name, and a low growl emanates from your throat, unbidden.

Jisung shoots you a knowing, sympathetic look from across the room, and when he speaks, his voice is borderline soothing.

"It's fine, noona."

You force yourself to relax back into the seat, but your muscles are still tense, your wolf on high alert.

"I know. I just really don't like that bastard."

"Ah." Jisung grins, his voice a teasing coo now, as he pushes himself up off his place on the couch and crosses the room to you, settling into your lap as he throws his arms around your neck and exclaims dramatically, voice going up into nasally falsetto, batting his lashes a ridiculous amount of times, "Whatever would I do without you, O' fearless, great protector? My knight in shining armor. My hero!"

"Shut up." You mumble out, cheeks hot, as you make a move to shove him away, but when he so much as actually tries to leave your lap, you cement him firmly in place with an arm around his waist.

Jisung hides a smug smirk.

"Channie doesn't get to answer this question." Minho pulls his eyes from your shenanigans with a knowing smirk, his attention turning to the head alpha beside you. "He's always overly protective, therefore, he doesn't count."

"Hey!" Chan protests halfheartedly, though there's no real offense in his tone.

"The main thing I can think of is when Innie presented." Seungmin offers, looking thoughtful, staring off into space.

Changbin shudders. "Yeah, that was a shit show."

"Yikes." Hyunjin nods in agreement, looking grim, as Jeongin offers you all an apologetic half smile and a shrug.

"Sorry."

"None of it was your fault." Felix interjects fiercely, tugging the baby omega to his side and tucking him protectively under his arm with a stern expression. "Don't apologize."

"Yeah, biology just fucks everything up." Minho says seriously, glowering now, as if he would challenge said biology to a fisticuffs if they were ever in the same room.

"Everyone got overly protective when Jeongin presented as an omega." You say as way of explanation, your chin resting on Jisung's shoulder where he still sits, nestled in your lap. "The other omegas' wolves told them they needed to protect one of their own-fresh and vulnerable-from alphas with ill intent that would be answering the siren call that is a new omega, even if that meant their own alphas."

"And all the alphas felt like they needed to protect their newest omega from everyone else, including the other omegas. So you can guess how well that all went over." Changbin adds with a sort of wry smile lacking any sort of humor.

"Hint: it didn't."

"Nope. Definitely didn't."

"Hyunjin and Minho almost got into it over dinner one night." You remember, glancing between the two, as Hyunjin rolls his eyes and Minho looks slightly peeved at the memory. "They had to be sent to their respective rooms."

"Like children." Chan adds, raising a brow at the two members of the pack in question, his stern head alpha expression on full display. "Sent to time out or told to sit in the corner. Children."

"Tensions were high." Minho offers in way of explanation with a slight shrug, even though it's no explanation at all. "Hyunjin was stupid."

"Hey!"

"Anyway." You hide a grin in Jisung's hair, and take a long whiff of his fresh laundry scent-clean and crisp and clearing in your nose. "The only other instance I can think of when someone got really worked up on behalf of someone else was when Felix accompanied Changbin to the gym that one time."

"Oh god." Changbin goes pale, his voice strangled. "Do we really have to bring that up?"

Seungmin nods solemnly and pats the alpha on the back. "We do."

"I'm still mad about that, by the way." Hyunjin sniffs, crossing his arms with a glare and an air of irritation. "I really liked that gym."

Jisung grins wickedly. "Lixie, care to tell the story?"

Felix grimaces. "Do I have to?"

"I'll tell it." Minho sits up beside the omega, cracking his knuckles.

There is an instant chorus of protests.

"No, hyung, you'll leave out all the good parts!"

"Yeah, you're a terrible storyteller. No offense."

"Remember when I asked you for a bedtime story and you told me the abridged version of Little Red Riding Hood? 'Little Red left her house and walked into the woods and the Big Bad Wolf ate her, which was well within his right because she was trespassing on his private property. The end.'"

"Oh my god, I'll tell it." Chan's exasperated voice cuts above the ruckus and everyone turns to him expectantly, waiting. He heaves a long suffering sigh and Jisung reaches out to pat his hand in a show of support.

"Right after we all got together, Felix decided he was going to go to the gym with Changbin, and unfortunately, during their session, he went into preheat-mind you, this was before my color coded calendar-" Chan adds pointedly, and their are several groans from around the room that leave him looking momentarily offended. "-it helps, okay? Anyway, Changbin noticed, obviously, and tried to get them out of public as quickly as possible, but a couple of alphas from the gym followed them out-some hotshots from a frat-and cornered them before they could reach the bus."

"Guess they couldn't take a hint." Changbin says between his teeth, voice low and dangerous, eyes dark.

"I was terrified." Felix adds softly, and Minho puts an arm around him, pulling him close.

"Yeah, I know." Chan offers the omega a gentle look, eyes soft. "But luckily, Bin was with you." His lips curve into the start of a smile. "Although, I will say, his methods of getting rid of them were a bit -extreme."

"Hey!" Changbin protests, immediately sitting up straighter. "I scared them off, right? That was the goal!"

Jisung snickers. "Yeah, by telling them you'd rip them apart from the inside out, then use their long intestines as streamers and their kidneys as balloons at the next frat party."

"I'm pretty sure he also mentioned something about shoving their testicles so far back up inside them that they'd have three Adam's apples when he was finished." Felix points out, looking slightly awed and proud now as he glances over at the reddened alpha on the next couch.

"I don't condone violence-" Chan starts, and is immediately interrupted by Hyunjin, who is smirking at the alpha beside him now.

"I do. Especially if it's hot."

Changbin clears his throat and the red spreads to the tips of his ears.

Hyunjin smirks wider.

"I don't condone violence-" Chan begins again, louder and more firm this time, as he shoots a pointed look at Hyunjin. His shoulders heave into a sigh. "-however, I'm very grateful Bin was there that night to watch out for Felix, no matter the methods or if I approve. And that's all I'll say on the matter."

Hot, Hyunjin mouths silently at the alpha again, completely undeterred, looking like a grinning Cheshire cat about to pounce and swallow him whole.

Changbin swallows nervously and from your lap, Jisung grins.

"Careful, hyung. You know how much Jinnie loves a good possessive alpha. Before you know it, we'll be the ones protecting you from him."

it's just not for me. it kinda tainted my first impression of the song but i like it a lot more after watching music bank (i'm so excited for the studio choom)

it was a bit too frenetic and chaotic for me. it didn't go with the song that well and felt too random (a bus, a pirate ship and clowns? alien cg creatures too? too much and it doesn't go together). the editing for this mv was some of the worst i've seen for a skz mv and that's shocking to me bc they are so well-known for the editing of their mvs but i just really have no words for how messy it felt.

also the way the screen time for the vocal line felt so much more scuffed compared to the rap line tilted me a lot (i barely saw jeongin and chris in the mv and that bummed me out a lot).

overall i won't need to rewatch the mv that much. i am content looking at stayblr's gifs of the mv.

now as for the performance aspects, i really like the choreo and it really feels intense and hype. it's perfect for a concert which is always smth i think about in terms of them.

the chorus choreo is so powerful and i love the pre-chorus stuff it reminds me a bit of back door's pre-chorus choreo. like the vibes and stuff

the outro chorus choreo is so hype and it makes me bop my head as i watch.

tldr: i dislike the mv, but the choreo and energy are great!

final thoughts ;

i'm so happy my boys are back and they definitely did great with this one. is it better than 5-star for me? mmm i don't think so if i were to compare them i still love the 5-star album more. HOWEVER i really think the b-sides are amazing on this album. megaverse and comflex are so amazing and cover me and leave are so nice. i love when skz show their more gentle and softer sides in their songs since they're known for bangers. the mv nearly tainted my whole love for this cb tho so i'm def gonna overlook that. however skz never disappoints with bringing the hype energy and once again they've shown out with this comeback. they definitely made it rock (lol lemme stop). overall out of 10 i think this comeback was an 8/10 bordering 8.5/10 bc i really like the album itself. i can't wait for their next tour i need to see this stuff live >:)

SKZ-Replay

I know I'm late to the party but here are my impressions of SKZ-Replay:

FAM (Korean Ver.): I loved that they used the concert footage for the music video, the boys seemed to have really fun and looked so happy, that listening and watching it made me also feel happy!

Connected (Bang Chan): Gosh Channie, no that was Christopher, singing in English got me weak. I especially like the phrase "we're pulling at each other like magnets" - it shows how little control you have over your attraction, you're naturally drawn to the other and once you connected nothing can separate you.

나지막이 Limbo (Lee Know): His falcetto gives me life!! I absolutely love this rock ballad. And the lyrics are just so beautiful - the pain of the bottled-up untold feelings and the recurring memories of the relationship that is no more there - The way Lee Know expresses these emotions through his vocals is heart touching. I hope we get more from Lee Know in terms of lyrics and composition, this song is truly beautiful.

DOODLE (Changbin): Changbin's rap!!! He's delivering the lines! While his rap is so gritty, I love the way he says "doodle" - it sounds so adorable and the effect this contrast causes sends shivers down my spine. And damn do I love the message of this song: Be yourself and don't let you restrict by the expectations and rules of others. Be the change you want instead of waiting that the world will change.

Love Untold (Hyunjin): I really love the way you immediately know this is a song written and composed by Hyunjin. The artsy choice of words, and the way he raps enhance the beauty of the song - the lyrics are so heartbreaking and at the same time painfully beautiful. "Maybe my universe was bright because of you and within it, I never lost my smile but in this world so dark, I can't even see my shadow" Hyunjin is so a romantic and I love it.

RUN (Han): Han showed once again that he can nail any genre. His lyrics always touch your heart and you just feel them. I think everybody had a phase in life where they want to run away, leave every problem, worry and responsibility behind, and just breathe without feeling suffocated.

Deep End (Felix): Help, how can a person have so different voices? His deep low voice, his sweet honey-like voice, and his breathy emotionally loaded falsetto, I love all of them. And I'm so so happy we got this beautiful masterpiece by Felix. I hope we can hear him sing more because his singing voice is just so beautiful and his versatile voice opens up so many possibilities in different genres. The desperation to want to be together once again with the person you love...

내려요 Stars and Raindrops (Seungmin): I love, love his voice. This song showcases his beautiful high tones and falsetto and just in general his amazing singing voice. Seungmin's calming yet emotional voice gives so much comfort. I easily can imagine this song as an OST for a K-Drama. And I love the metaphor of shining stars as the happy memories and the raindrops as the break-up. The regret, self-doubt, and self-criticism of the failing relationship and the bittersweetness of the happy times, all these thoughts swirling inside and eventually spilling over.

안아줄게요 Hug Me (I.N): It's so sweet and fluffy~ I'm just smiling and feeling good after listing to this song. Innie's voice matured the most of all the members and you can hear the confidence he has in his voice and how he has grown comfortable with his voice. I'm happy that I can hear Innie in vocal-focused songs because just like Seungminnie's voice I love Innie's voice too.

Each of the songs is beautiful in its own way and I love how each member could explore and showcase his musicality and we got to see new sides and talents of the boys.

My personal favourites are Deep End, Limbo, and Stars and Raindrops.
