chapter 1: dorm parties
“do you think everyone has a soulmate?” felix thought for a moment popping another cherry into his mouth.
“i would like to hope so.” he responded eyes not leaving the view of the open city from the small window of bedroom. he watched as the car zoomed past and people walked past. “i hope i have a soulmate.”felix broke his gaze now looking at y/n. “are you serious? ofcourse you have!”
you were 15 then. everything was so different. felix was so different. 15-year-old him would have never threw a house party like this. so full that the wriggle past people was almost impossible or loud booming rave music that you both would make fun of together.
but everything had changed. of course it had you were no longer teenagers, now young adults who had classes tomorrow morning but in lixs famous words ‘deal with it in the morning.’
“excuse me.. sorry..”
“hey move the fuck out the way!” nessa shouted as y/n watching the crowd of people part and nessa walked through. the scene was what she imagine moses would look like parting the sea. she was always so confident but no matter what she never switched up no matter how much attention she got.
unlike felix.
“abit harsh ness.” the other girl rolled her eyes playfully.
“if you want a job done you have to do it.”
y/n still doesn’t know how she manage to land a best friend like nessa kate.
if life was a movie she’d be the it girl. everyone loved her, never afraid to speak her mind yet still able to keep her opinions respectful until it didn’t need to be.
“so, you’re going to find a cute boy to talk to and i’m going to find minho. we’ll meet back in 40?” she watched her hair flick around as she turned as if she was looking for someone.
“minho? why?” y/n asked. it was obvious nessa had a thing for him but that was something only y/n knew. everytime she seen him on campus she’d send him a sweet smile or a shy ‘hi’ if she was feeling confident. usually followed by y/n trying to dodge felixs eyes trying to catch hers. the rest of the group shit on felix for ditching them for him how would they react if nessa started dating him? especially hyunjin..
“i just want to talk to him..” she shyed away looking off to hide her smile.
“hm or kiss h-“
“okay bye love you. ttyl!”
——
felix looked gorgeous tonight. dyed blonde locks pushed back with a few strands hanging over his eyes. black outfit tightly wrapping his tiny figure, his sleeves pulled up that the veins in his arms were visable.
his freckles were y/n’s favourite thing on lixs face. they weren’t as visable as usual but still could be see up close.
he was just.. stunning.
when felix had found y/n’s eyes he couldn’t help but smile across the room to her. he lifted his arm motioning her to come over to him.
“im so happy you’re here.” he shouted over the music close to her ear. she was tense from how close he was and his hands on her arms holding his balance.
“it’s..full.”
“i know. crazy..” the song changed and so did felixs mood. his mouth widened into a smile and his eyes went big showing the blue contacts he’d put in.
“this is my song!” he shouted loud enough that she could hear clearly over the music.
one thing about felix that never seemed to change was the love he had for dancing. the song was familiar, his first or second dance recital he had perform this song with a few of his team mates.felix took a few steps back letting go of y/n’s arms and began to recall the moves. they weren’t perfect, but how perfect could they in a room crowded with people. but almost accurate.
felixs dream had never to be a dancer, it was something he did for fun. just for fun. he wanted to be a baker. open his own bakery on lonely street, the street opposite the beach so he’d have the view of a life time while doing what he loves.
so when he changed his culinary major to dance everyone was quite shocked. something was off about it. that was until he told the others about how his new friends had offered him a place on their dance team. also known as the schools dance team and one of the most talented in the country.
y/n watched as a circle had formed around felix as he kept dancing. he turned to her showing a smile after seeing the attention he’d gained, not missing one move. finally finishing he stuck a pose as people whistled and cheered for him.
“that was good, blondie.” minho wrapped his arm around the shorter boys shoulder.
“thanks min.” minho pulled back now looking towards y/n would still awkwardly stood with them. he was intimidating, leader of the dance team, there was rumours that even if one mistake was made he have a show made of you.
hopefully felix was able to keep up..
“oh, um this is y/n.” goosebump rised where ever minhos eyes landed on her. he looked back up leaning forward to shake her hand. “she’s my friend.”
friend. yes not best friend this wasn’t high school anymore.
his arm slapped the top of his thigh as he pulled back, straightening his back and looking back to felix.
not even a hello?
“i should go find hannie before he tries to swing off anything.” minho stepped back rocking on his heels, hands stuffed in his pockets.
“good idea, i’ll find you later.” felix nodded and the older awkwardly walked off in a swift manner.
“he’s.. nice.” y/n stuttered out trying to make some sort of small talk but also wanting to get that awkward encounter out her mind.
felix turned from back around his shoulder. “he’s just shy.”
“lee minho, shy?” felix nodded.
“believe it or not he didn’t properly talk to me until i joined danceracha. hannie had to do all the talking.”
and the tension was back.
no matter how close her and felix were nothing could stop the thought that they no longer knew each other. y/n couldn’t even remember the last time a conversation was held for longer than five minutes.
felix wasnt like nessa.
he let the attention get to him.
it wasn’t bad at first, puberty hit and he started getting flirted with, going on dates. it was whatever but then he got cozy with the frat boys and switch his major from culinary to dance. two things he loved but something in the way he followed lee minho around campus seemed to be strange. then felix started partying, doing frat things even when he wasn’t apart of it.
he didn’t care for uni anymore it was more of a live life now thinking about it later mentality one felix never use to have. live fast, love dance. the moto of his dance team really reflected his new way of living. none of it affected y/n as much as the others hated it. well except she was slowly becoming more distance with the boy she was in love it.
“i should go find-“
“actually i wanted to ask you something.”
felix interrupted before she could walk off.
yes? she wanted to ask. anything for you felix.
but instead she turned back around and just looked at him, waiting for him to finish what he wanted.
“the girls dance team, you know the one hyunjins sister is in, wants a new logo. i showed them a few of things you’ve drew and they’d love to meet you.”
y/n sighed. does he really expect her to want to do more drawing on top of her uni work?
“you don’t have to but i thought it would be nice. and i’m friends with some of them. it might be nice to get close with some of them, it must be tiring only having nessa for your girl problems.” is he serious right now?
y/n shrugged. “couldn’t you ask hyunjin?”
“you think hyunjin is going to agree to work with ‘preppy bitches’?” felix air quoted hyunjins words before throwing down his hands looking with a dumbfounded expression.
chan: haven’t seen jinnie for a while is he with you?
y/n glanced at her phone then looked back up at lix.
“ill think about it”
“great!” felix answered before walking off to meet minho and the rest of dance friends.
you: no, i’ll go see if i can find him.
it was a surprise hyunjin didn’t end up like felix. he was just as attractive: tall, long healthy brown shoulder length hair, dumpling face with a piercing gaze and great sense of style. but hyunjin didn’t let just anyone get close to him.
he wasn’t shy for say, just not outspoken.
“hey have you seen hyunjin?” y/n asked walking up to seungmin surrounded by his music friends. he shrugged. “check lixs room?”
“oh y/n!” she could tell the voice out. she was caught up to by a few girls on two or so one being yeji, hyunjins younger sister.
the two other girls she recognised as girls on her team.
“felix told us you’re designing our new logo. that’s so neet!”
“well you know me.” she awkwardly laughed with the girls as they looked at one another. she couldn’t believe felix had already told them she would do it. even after minutes prior telling him she wasn’t sure. if he didn’t want to let anyone down no way should that have anything to do with her.
“come get a drink with us?” yeji linked her arm guiding her to the kitchen.
“i really shouldn’t.. im suppose to find-“
“it’s just one, then we’ll let you go. promise.” in the kitchen there was lots of girls all wearing the same dance jacket.
she started to feel nervous as they got closer and the girls all turned to smile at them. their was also a boy, dark hair and small frame. he stood with them but went quiet when they reached them.
“everyone this is y/n. she’s gonna be designing our logo.” the girls all showed her welcome and even a few gave a hug to show their appreciation. there was no backing out now.
she’d rather stress and overwork herself than have 15 angry dancers on her back at all times especially when one was her friends sister and someone she use to be quite close to.
yeji had spent about 20 minutes talking to her about how her uni life was going so far and how she was enjoying everything and her new friends. every other minute she was receiving texts from chan asking her were she was, how hyunjin was. she found other times herself watching felix in the corner of her eye as he spoke to a group of girls. some old one direction song blasting through the speakers next to do the drinks made it almost impossible to hear anyone.
“it’s been so long since we spoke-“
“listen yej i appreciate this but i really need to get to hyunjin.”
“why is something wrong?” he eyes turned doe like and big at the mention of her brothers name. face suddenly filled with worry.
“no he’s fine, just gonna check on him.”
“ahh true, he’s never been a party person. how are we even related?” she laughed looking into y/n’s cup.
“you’ve had barley any drink. want me to go check up?”
she passed her drink to her. “no ill be fine, it was nice catching up.”
——
“found you!” y/n peeked in finding hyunjin sat on felixs small bed. legs crossed with his sketch pad rested on them.
he gave her a small smile as she walked in quietly closing the door.
“just had to escape your sister and her friends.” y/n joked and sat down next to him.
hyunjin rolled his eyes and scoffed. “what about felix?”
“hm? what about him?” y/n peeked up at his name making hyunjin chuckle.
he closed his sketchbook putting it to the side and resting his weight on his arms.
“you spoke to him?”
y/n hummed looking down at the creased duvet. playing with it between her fingers.
“yeah, i spoke to minho aswell. it was terrifying.” hyunjin laughed.
“you spoke to anyone tonight?”
“vanessa.” hyunjin answered pressing at his tiny phone typing a message to someone. “ and chans up my ass making sure i’m okay.”
felixs room was nothing unusual. white walls and laminate floor, a box for his jewellery which stood on top of his drawers of clothes, on the ground next to it a neat folded pile which needed to be put away. but one thing that stood out was a small cork box placed on his desk leant against the wall.
it was full of random shit, a cinema ticket for fast and furious, some photos jotted around of him a dance shows and with the dance team and some of his parents.
not far in front of it stood a framed photo of felix and minho. they were dressed up in one of their dance uniforms. much like the solider uniform cheryl cole wore in her fight for this love music video.
y/n picked it up taking a closer look. felix seemed so happy around minho liked he’d found the older he always wanted but never had.
“what you got there?” hyunjin asked looking over her shoulder.
y/n turned to him not putting down the photo. “you think we were abit harsh on him?”
hyunjin went to scoff but sighed after seeing her sad expression.
“hey i remember this night!” hyunjin avoided and instead pointed to a photo seemly hidden by the photo frame.
she placed it down pulling the photo off its clip.
it was a photo of her. it was from hyunjins eighteenth a night she didn’t remember much of but was one of the best nights of her life. her arms wrapped around felixs neck and his on her waist. both squished together in a big hug but still smiling at the camera. felixs smile wider from his lack of intoxication and eyes red from the flash.
y/n smiled down fiddling with the ends that had creased over time. she felt like she was in that scene from mean girls.
but felix was cady and he wasn’t madly inlove with her like cady was for aaron.
HJ’s 18th
my bff 4 life
was scribbled on the back in felixs swirly writing.
no wonder it had been hidden, felix must have been so embarrassed it wasn’t a good photo to begin with, eyes presented red from the flash and all fuzzy from nessas shaking hands.
y/n felt angry for some reason. it was hidden. the only photo of the group on his stupid cork board was out of sight.
replaced with lee fucking minho.
she threw the photo down making it fly off his desk behind. she didn’t see it land anyway, now truly out of sight.
“i don’t understand why you still like him.“
y/n turned leaning on the desk. what wasn’t there to love about felix? he was kind, and loving. he always put her first, he was ambitious and a great baker. only, only half of that was true now. was she often wondered was she holding onto someone who was no longer there?
“the same way you like nessa.” she shurgged still leaning on the desk behind her.
“except ness isn’t some attention loving-“
the door opened and felix stumbled in. interrupt hyunjin mid sentence.
“please down tell me you were hooking up in my room!” he pinched his nose teasing them.
y/n smiled awkwardly but hyunjin wasn’t as impressed.
he picked up his sketchbook and walked out before felix could say anything else.
felix sighed walking over to his bed to pull out a storage box.
“so, you and hyunjin?”
“it’s not like that..”
felix grabbed rumidged through the box “then what is it?” he asked glancing to her. he grabbed something out the box and pushed it back under the bed. “i thought hyunjin was into ness?” felix propped up his feet so he could hug his knees.
“what are you doing in here?”
“um.. last time i checked this is my room.” he teased rising to his feet. “so?” she sighed. felix had no right to now be interested in hyunjins personal life after bailing on him after 5 years of friendship to play buddies with the dance team.
and hyunjin wouldn’t be happy finding she was going around telling everyone his business.
“i don’t know lix.” felix hummed raising his eyebrow but shurgging off showing he wasn’t as curious as he made out to be.
“oh that reminds me!” he walked to his bedside tide taking a envelope out the drawer.
he came closer to her until he was in speaking distance holding out the card. “happy early birthday from me and the dance team.” she looked to his hand hesitating to take it but she wasn’t going to leave him like that. “i have a comp on your birthday dinner, and i don’t think your friends would want me there anyway.” your friends not our friends. that had just shown felix had completely block the rest of them out of his new stylish life.
it was true, when making invitations to her birthday dinner seungmin had taken felix off the guest list and nessa had to persuade him to put him back on when reminding him of how special her and felixs friendship was but if the group could have it their way, lix would not be there. looks like today is their lucky day.
felix continued on. “but we should go out one night, me and you? to celebrate. not every day you turn 21.”
she nodded taking the card from his hand. “well i better go get this to yeji.” he held up a cropped dance jacket, red with the girls dance team name on the back in diamonds. “she left it last time she was here. so i’ll see you?” and with that felix was gone.
last time yeji was here? excuse me?

Moments when Felix can steal you away, even if only for a brief second to tell you how great of a job you’re doing and give you a quick kiss, leave him filled with such happiness. Off days drifted away with the upcoming award season and each day seemed to be more chaotic than the previous one, only giving him stolen glances when he saw you around the building. The constant cameras, either filming Stray Kids or you, didn’t allow him to have the courage to graze your hand when you passed by one another in the corridor or give you anything more than a polite greeting. Not that he was growing upset with how either of your lives were playing out, but he always felt uneasy not being able to give you more. His usually cuddly self wanted nothing more than to pull you into a quiet room and just spend ten minutes silently curled into your side.
As Felix entered the practice room days before the first award show, he couldn’t help eavesdropping on Chan and Seungmin’s conversation in the corner. I think I’ll be too burned out if I do the duet. Seungmin signed, sounding disappointed at the missed opportunity to do something. Maybe ask Felix if he’d want to, he says before walking away to get ready for their rehearsal. Quietly Felix began his warmup, hoping that Chan would come over and talk with him about what this duet could possibly be and who it was with.
Too many hours later, Felix was on the floor panting as he tried to calm his beating heart and overworked lungs. This award show was going to be one of the best performances they had put on, but he could also see what it was doing to everyone around him. The extra practices had made it different to re-record a few things which meant that he would be sacrificing a potential night with you to spend in the studios.
In a flash, he was sitting up, looking around for Chan to see if he could hear more about what this mystery duet would be. When his eyes finally locked onto Chan, he was up and bouncing over to his oldest. Lix just the person I was about to look for, Chan said with a tired smile on his face, would you want to do a special duet with someone at the show? Felix’s head slightly tilted to the side as he waited for Chan to give up anymore information on what it would be, and when there was only silence did Felix ask, do I get any more information? A soft laugh escaped Chan’s lips as he shook his head, no, sorry. The best I can do is say that your counterpart is the vocalist of their group. You also don’t get to rehearsal with them ahead of the show due to both schedules being packed so it’ll be a showtime thing.
Felix blinked, once, twice. There was no way this was being asked of them. It made sense that Seungmin had turned it down as it would mean more rehearsals without getting to practice with who he would be doing the song with. Yet, there was something in the back of his head that was telling him he should really give it a go and what could be the worst that happened? If the performance goes bad, his company will just say that while both parties practiced, they did it individually due to scheduling conflicts and no one would likely stay mad at anyone. It’ll be a great opportunity to try something new, Chan spoke again, spooking Felix back out of his head. If you think it’s something I should do, I’ll go for it, Felix agreed.
♡ ˚⁎⁺˳
The remaining days before the award show flew by with rehearsals for both the group performance and his duet. The duet song was one of his favorite duets between Wendy and John Legend leaving him excited to be able to tell you that he was going to dedicate the song to you. You, who had only gotten sparing messages from him at odd hours of the day that were strings of him going on about his day. You, who spammed him back when your day allowed for it, reminding him to drink water, eat something and as much sleep as he could. You, the person Felix was slowly falling in love with even though he hadn’t seen you in a week. You, the person that cared for him even when your day was overwhelmingly busy with little goody bags dropped off for him and the members.
It was only when he was preparing to go on stage that he realized he couldn’t let you know that this performance was going to be for you. Channie, he said, watching all members turn towards him. It warmed his heart that while it was a solo schedule from the boys, they were all surrounding him, promising to cheer him on from the wings. Can you find them and have them watch with you? Felix requested, feeling the nerves start to take over as he was finally realizing that this was going to be one of his first times on stage without any of his members. He’d done other things, but he always had at least one of his comfort people there with him. It also made him feel slightly uneasy that while he was going to be singing a love song thinking about you, he was going to be with someone who wasn’t you. Chan’s only response was a simple head nod before pushing him to get into place for going on stage next.
From his vantage point, he could see two small couches set on stage, one for each idol. Taking a deep breath, he settled himself into the headspace for this, running through the rehearsal he had had the other night. His counterpart would start on stage, singing the first verse before Felix would enter onto the stage creating a harmony as you both continued into the bridge. Looking back at his members one final time before he officially stepped into place, he noted that Chan was still standing with everyone as they all gave him warm smiles and thumbs up. Giving them one last smile, the lights cut, and he was put into place at the edge of the curtain, which blocked his view of who would be the idol awaiting him on stage.
The cheers quieted down as the notes of the song became louder and louder, with the sound of someone singing a soft melody intro to the song. It seems like we’ve been here before the idol started off singing. Felix’s head snapped up so quickly that he thought he might have given himself whiplash, but he would know that voice anywhere. Without a doubt in his mind, you were singing on stay, waiting for him to join you at any moment. Is that why Chan hadn’t left the group? Did he know that you were going to be the one up there? Felix couldn’t help the questions running through his mind before snapping back to reality as you sang first time we met, but I remembered you, letting him know it was his time to start walking on the stage.
Your voice was angelic to him. A melody he had committed to memory the first time that he had heard you sing. It rooted him in place that day and it almost did again today until he took his first small step towards you. In truth, he wanted to run to you, but instead he did as he was told and slowly approached the set, and you. Don’t tell me you don’t feel what I feel right now he joined in with you, causing your head to whip towards him. Cute, he thought as he understood you probably also didn’t know who would be joining you on this stage either. As he continued to match your words, he couldn’t help the smile that was pulling at the edge of his lips.
You can go anywhere babe, wherever you want, you both sang staring at each other, forgetting the world around you, forgetting that hundreds of fans were watching. It felt surreal in the moment, to not only get to sing a love song with you, but to be able to do it in a place that would allow him to gage the reaction of the fans on their thoughts of the two of you together. Because I know we’re written in the stars. A line he truly believed was meant for the two of you. Felix’s smile only grew as he watched you try to hide your smile, but you couldn’t hide the way your eyes were twinkling at that moment.
Finally getting to the point where he was near you, he couldn’t stop himself getting closer as he sang, I just wanted to get closer. At that moment, he let his worries go. He let himself be solely present and pretend that it was only you and him in the world and no one else there. He didn’t care about what would happen after, only this incredibly special moment. I know there is no limit where we’ll go you both harmonized as he moved to take your hand in his. How could you now be feeling what he felt right now? Love was threatening to explode from his chest as he watched you in your element singing the high notes effortlessly, allowing him to really harmonize in his lower register if he felt comfortable with it.
And I promise every day, you sang, with him following closely behind, I promise every day. His eyes never left yours as you continued to make you feel this way, giving him a brief window to echo to make you feel this way. There it was, hidden in your eyes in that moment, the truth. You really did mean that promise right there even though it was given in the form of song lyrics, he knew that you meant it. You promised that every day you would never stop making him feel this special way. This way of being loved. As you sang the closing melody, he couldn’t help but watch as you turned towards the audience to finish off the song, not letting his hand leave yours.
Would it be too much if he kissed you then and there? Probably, but it didn’t stop the thought from crossing his mind, as you turned back to him giving him a final smile so big that it caused your eyes to close for a moment. Then you were both bowing to the audience before walking off stage, still hand in hand. Part of him knew that he was going to be able to caulk it up to saying that the performance got the best of them, and they wanted to show the meaning of the song, but he also knew this was the perfect time to reveal your relationship. It had been months since you both had become official, wanting to keep it quiet to not disrupt your fans. However, he would not deny any questions that came to him about this anymore. You were his to shout out to the world.
Exiting the stage, in an instant, he wrapped you in his arms as your closer around above his shoulder, keeping him just as close to you as you were to him. I wanted to dedicate that song to you, you laughed, and he just stood there holding you. I was going to do the same, Felix says before putting you down. In was in the moment, when you still had the stars sparkling in your eyes that he said I’m in love with you. Your smile seemed to grow even larger, as you wrapped your arms around him again, pulling him close to you. I’m so in love with you to Lix, you mumbled before a small giggle escaped your lips. Maybe it wasn’t the most opportune time to tell you with stage and other idols around, but he didn’t care, he was still debating if he goes back out on the stage and confess his love for you too.
Instead, he settled for this moment, with his arms wrapped tightly around your waist, your face buried in the crook of his neck, almost frozen in time. Felix knew that any moment someone would come to disturb this small piece of happiness that he got back, so he wanted to make the most of being in the moment with you. Felix, we need to get changed and ready for our stage, Changbin spoke from behind him, causing a heavy sigh to leave his lips. Every moment with you was almost always too short. Go knock them out with another great performance love, you whispered as he gently put your feet back on the floor, you can spend the night at my place tonight if you want, you finished fully pulling away from him.
As he watched you walk back to your group, he couldn’t help thinking that maybe your love was written in the stars. Everything he had gone through was meant to be able to find a path to you. His person. His muse. His other half who seemed to always understand. He was going to shout his love out to the world sooner rather than later because he needed everyone to know how truly happy he was with you.

felix picks up another brownie, taking a small bite out of it. the sweetness of the chocolate isn’t too overpowering and the texture is nice - but something still feels like it’s missing.
he sighs, setting the brownie aside with all the rest. the countertops are completely covered in trays and containers filled with brownies at this point. despite hours of what feels like endless baking and far too many batches, none of them are good enough. not for you.
“felix?” he jumps a little at the sudden call of his name. after hours of baking in silence, another voice startles him more than he’d like to admit. chan stands in the doorway with a bag in hand and raised eyebrows. “what are you doing?”
“baking,” he mumbles.
“baking?”
“for y/n.” felix sighs, glancing around the mess of a kitchen. “he’s been stressed lately so i wanted to make something for him but none of them are good enough.” chan sets his bag down, kicking off his shoes as he walks towards the boy. “i need it to be perfect, but they’re too sweet, or not sweet enough, or too hard, or soft, or-”
“felix,” chan interrupts. he reaches over to place his hands on felix’s shoulders, forcing him to stop. “you know y/n. he’ll appreciate anything you give him. and all of this,” he pauses to gesture around the kitchen. “isn’t necessary. your baking is good. and your feelings are reciprocated.”
felix’s face burns at chan’s last admission. he’s never been the best at hiding his feelings but he didn’t think his crush was that obvious. chan chuckles at his blush. he pulls away with a final pat on felix’s shoulder and a small smile. “bring him some brownies and tell him how you feel. it’ll be fine, i promise.”
with chan’s reassurance, he nods. “one more batch?”
chan chuckles. “one more batch.”
Tumblr media
a gentle knock on your door interrupts you from your studies. you begrudgingly pull yourself away from your computer long enough to squint through the peephole and see who’s on the other side. felix stands there holding a container of brownies in his hands.
you smile, opening the door for him. “felix!”
“hi y/n,” he smiles. you set the container aside on your countertop before he pulls you into a tight hug. the affection is welcome after so long of staring at a set of math equations on your computer screen. “seungmin told me you’ve been stressed lately so i made you some brownies.”
“thank you.” you pull away just enough to tug him towards your couch with you before making yourself comfortable next to him. you hold one out for him before taking one yourself. “cheers.”
felix laughs as you press the treats together for a moment. he watches you carefully as you take a bite, anxiously awaiting your reaction. relief floods through him when your face lights up at the sweetness. he hides his smile behind a bite of his own.
“lix, these are incredible!”
“i’m glad you like them,” he chuckles. you finish the rest of the brownie quickly. felix finds himself staring at your lips as you continue singing praises about his baking. he unconsciously reaches out, interrupting you when his thumb brushes against your bottom lip. he’s gentle as he wipes away a stray smudge of chocolate from your face.
you freeze, finding yourself entranced at his touch. his hand moves from your lip to your cheek, gently coaxing your face closer to his. “i want to kiss you,” you whisper.
felix doesn’t reply. instead, he leans in even closer. your eyes flutter closed as he finally pulls you into a sweet kiss.
his lips are softer than you expected. they fit perfectly against yours as you smile against him before finally pulling away. your smile grows at the sight of felix’s flushed face. “i like you,” he whispers.
“i like you too.” you don’t waste any time in pulling him into yet another kiss. your computer lays forgotten at your desk as you wrap your arms around his shoulders, tugging him down to lay beside you. “movie marathon?”
felix relaxes against your chest with a smile. “movie marathon.”

Pleasuring Felix
Felix was sitting naked on the couch. His hands behind his head and a smirk on his face. He watched your stunned expression in amusement. "Come here, kitten." You slowly walked towards him. He spread his arm out to pull you on top of him. He caressed your face, "Tell me what you want, baby." "I wanna make you feel good.", you answered quietly. "Go ahead, love." You lowered yourself to your knees and started stroking him. You started off slowly, letting him feel every stroke. You were looking him in the eyes before you attached your mouth to his tip. You placed kisses and small licks around his tip. You moved down his length placing more kisses all over it. He let his head fall back as you took his tip into your mouth and sucked on it. You swirled your tongue around his tip, placing all attention to just the tip. "F*ck, good girl.", he praised you as you took more of his length in your mouth. You stroked the rest of his length with your hand. You lowered your other hand and started massaging his balls. "Mmm, baby.", he moaned and pushed his hips upwards unconsciously. You gagged and took him out of your mouth to get some air. "I'm sorry, babe. Didn't mean to do that.", he put his hands on your cheeks and apologized in panic. "I'm fine, baby." You giggled and continued stroking him with your hand. He pulled you in for a kiss and slipped his tongue in your mouth. He pulled away and your mouth once again found his tip. You sucked on it harder than before making him moan loudly. He grabbed your hair and you let him guide your head. You looked up into his eyes and watched him as his face scrunched up in pleasure as he came into your mouth. He let go of your head and you continued lightly sucking him and cleaning him up. Once you were finished you sat back on his lap with a smile and kissed him. You got up from his lap but he grabbed your hand and pulled you back onto the couch. You fell on your back and he got on top of you. "I ain't finished with you.", he said and kissed you, making you giggle into the kiss.

Request by @xxx-wounded-angel-xxx:
Premise: Shy, short goth reader mate x Felix, the perfect husband.
Click below to continue reading this small ;) one-shot.
Felix found it incredibly endearing; since the first moment he met his mate, he made a passing comment on how tiny she was. She stood at barely 5'2", and Felix took it upon himself to call her Thumbelina.
The way she blushed every time, even to this day, over the nickname, made him smile. He swore he could feel his heart almost begin to beat again every time she buried her face in the pillows or smacked her book over her face trying to hide away from his affectionate nickname.
His teasing comments made her feel as if she'd blush so hard blood would seep from her pores; "Ah, I am lucky I am not a human. To have to bend down so far just to lift you in my arms to kiss as often as I do surely would make me feel sore and old", "perhaps I need to tie a long stringed balloon to your hair ties so I do not lose you in the grocery store", "if you were any smaller, I could slide you into my pocket".
Felix loved being able to reach into the cupboards for her; dishes, food, spices, tea, coffee. He enjoyed following her around bookstores and libraries, grabbing the books her fingers stretched to reach. He loved watching his mate having to crawl across the bed to put her side of the sheets on, when all he had to do was kneel down and barely reach out with both arms.
It wasn't until recently, though, that his sweet, gentle little Thumbelina began to buy platform shoes. Not her regular 4 to 5 inch ones. No, she had been purchasing platform heels that reached almost ten inches.
"Do you notice anything different today?" His mate asked him the first time she slid the 8-inch platform shoes on. She held her head high, proud of her purchase.
As Felix walked to her, still towering far above, he tilted his head curiously. "I don't, Thumbelina." He replied teasingly. "You're still too far away."
She frowned at him comically and turned to grab her tea on the counter and nearly slammed her head into the cupboards, not used to having to mind anything above her head.
Felix had reached out, covering her forehead with his hand to stop her from hurting herself. "Don't you know, my love?" He asked quietly, lifting his mate into his arms and setting her on the table.
"What?" She responded, trying to hide her bashfulness behind endearing grumpiness as she folded her arms across her chest.
Felix's large hands moved to her shoes, unlacing them delicately so as to not damage them. "I love you as you are. You do not need to go to such lengths, there is nothing I am unhappy with."
"But you always make fun of me." His mate replied, her brows knitting together.
"I am not intending to be mean to you. One of my favorite things about you, about us, is the height difference." Felix set her shoes aside and ran his cold hands on her thighs. "I love being able to easily carry you around. I love feeling so capable and strong when I am around you, to protect you from anything." Felix placed a small kiss on her forehead. "And I love how my body engulfs yours when we lay together at night."
Thumbelina's face turned a deep, deep red. "Prove it."
With a sly smile, Felix gathered her so easily into his arms, as he had done hundreds of times before, and whisked her away to their room.

Birthday Surprise ~ Lee Felix
Tumblr media
A sigh came from Felix as he moved around the dorm, his critical eye studying everything. His heart was racing as he tried to bring the finishing touches together, knowing that there was only a matter of minutes now until you’d be back, wanting for everything to be as perfect as possible.
“It looks good, don’t you think?” Changbin grinned as he threw his arm over Felix’s shoulders, “I think Y/N is going to absolutely love this.”
Felix nodded slowly, keeping his eyes looking around the place as the boys carried on busying themselves. “I’m starting to worry now that maybe the colours aren’t right for Y/N’s taste.”
“You can’t go wrong with a black and white theme,” Changbin assured Felix, encouraging him to smile and relax. “Y/N is going to have the best birthday ever thanks to this party.”
After spending the morning hiding his smile, Felix knew that he needed to pull out all of the stops for the evening. For your birthday this year he wanted to give you the ultimate surprise, deciding for once that he would surprise you rather than the other way around.
He could tell that you were upset as you left the dorm for work that morning, with no mention of your birthday at all. Your heart sunk thinking that Felix had forgotten, even as you asked if any cards had arrived for you, Felix pretended to be clueless.
“Y/N is going to adore it,” Jeongin grinned as he passed the two of them by, “just stop worrying, Y/N won’t like you doing that.”
“I don’t even feel this nervous when we’re onstage,” Felix weakly chuckled as the rest of the boys all stood around him too. “You guys should have seen her face this morning, I’ve never wanted to just wrap my arms around her so much in my life.”
Jisung offered him a reassuring smile as he stood in front of Felix, “all of that will be worth it when Y/N walks through that door and sees what you’ve organised for her. You’ve got all of her favourite things, and the presents that we’ve all brought her are things we know she’ll love, what could possibly go wrong?”
“A lot,” Felix sniggered, “don’t get me started on the things that we could mess up on.”
The boys all knew that the pressure of the party had weighed down on Felix for quite some time. Like him, they wanted to give you the best birthday possible which was why they’d put so much effort into organising your birthday party too.
“Take some deep breaths,” Seungmin suggested as Felix began to fluster again. “There is no way that Y/N will be able to stay mad at you for forgetting her birthday when she sees this.”
Felix’s head nodded as he glanced up at the clock, knowing that your shift had finished. By now he knew you’d be in your car and preparing to head home, feeling his heart race yet again as his eyes looked around the dorm.
“She’ll be on her way home now,” Felix told them all.
“Shall we start hiding?” Hyunjin asked as the boys all began to move around the dorm, making sure that everything was perfect. A couple of them moved behind the curtains, others behind the sofa, with Felix lingering with Chan by his side.
With Felix pacing, Chan rested a hand against his shoulder. “Things will be amazing,” he confidently told Felix, knowing there was no chance that you’d hate what he had done.
“I hope so,” Felix frowned back across at Chan, “I hope this is her best birthday yet.”
Chan continued to squeeze gently against Felix’s shoulder, “you always say how Y/N treats you incredibly on your birthday, this is your turn to do the same now.”
“Are you guys hiding?” Seungmin shouted out, noticing the two of them still stood in the middle of the room. “You’ll ruin the surprise hanging around there.”
After checking the room one final time, Felix hid behind the door to the kitchen with Chan by his side. It was an anxious wait for him as Felix anticipated the sound of your car pulling up, terrified too as to what sort of mood you’d be in after being forgotten that morning.
“I think I see her car,” Jeongin called out from behind the curtain, glancing down to the ground of the apartment block where a familiar car turned in.
Everyone fell silent, making sure that they were as well hidden as possible in their various spots. Time seemed to stand still as they waited, eventually hearing the buttons outside being pressed.
You were irritated to say the least as you pressed the passcode to the dorm in, not wanting an evening of being forgotten. A sigh came from you as the door opened, glancing around expectantly as you noticed the place in darkness, no sign of life around.
“Happy birthday Y/N!” A chorus of voices suddenly called out as you closed the apartment door behind you. Your figure jumped as the lights came on, looking around in awe as you noticed decorations everywhere, with a stack of gifts on the table.
“What’s this?” You laughed as the boys all jumped out from their hiding spots.
What was set up seemed to have Felix’s name written all over it, your irritation disappearing in the blink of an eye. You couldn’t quite get your head around what it was that he had done, smirking as you took it all in before looking around at each of the boys and the excited smiles that were on their faces.
The last eyes you met were Felix’s as he walked towards you, opening his arms out for you to walk into. “What do you think?” He smiled, holding around your waist as a chuckle of disbelief came from you.
“How did you manage to keep this from me?”
“It’s been difficult,” he laughed, pressing a kiss against your cheek. “There were a few moments when I thought that someone might spill.”
“Is this why you didn’t say anything this morning? You wanted to surprise me?” You asked him, the antics of that morning starting to make more sense.
It was tough for Felix, but somehow he managed to keep the act up. It sucked, and he felt guiltier than he ever had done before, but it was worth it to stun you like he had.
“I’m sorry for making you think I’d forgotten,” Felix smiled back at you.
Your head shook as he spoke, despite how angry you were this morning, you couldn’t help but smile now, taken aback by the effort that Felix and the rest of the boys had gone to.
“This is just incredible,” you told him, resting your hand against his chest. “I don’t know how you managed this or how much effort you had to put into this, but no one’s ever done something like this for my birthday before.”
“We wanted to make it special,” Chan grinned as he walked over to you, “because you always go above and beyond for our birthdays Y/N.”
Your head kept shaking as the boys all nodded in agreement with Chan. “You guys are too good, I’m so lucky to get to call you my friends.”
“And me?” Felix sniggered, not wanting the attention to stay with the boys for too long, pointing at himself.
Your eyes rolled at the smirk that was on his face, “I’m the luckiest person in the world to get to call you my boyfriend,” you told him, “and you’re the best boyfriend for arranging something as incredible as this too.”
“That’s more like it,” he laughed back at you.
“Honestly, it’s the best surprise ever.”

Venetia rushed to the window of her bedroom as she heard the car carrying her brother pulling up the drive. The family had been made aware that Felix was bringing a friend home for the summer. Not that anyone had to tell them. Felix often had a new sad sack in tow whenever he came home from school, who would never be seen again once they returned to school at the end of the summer. Venetia had tried to get some information on this new friend from Farleigh, but her cousin said he hadn't seen anyone new hanging out with Felix during the school year. She was itching to get a peak at Felix's newest toy.
She gasped and turned to Farleigh, who was looking at her in curiosity. "It's a girl!"
(Y/N) stepped out of the car as Felix excitedly talked away. She looked at the giant house with wide eyes. She knew Felix had money; his parents were paying his way through college after all, meanwhile (Y/N) was a scholarship kid. But she never could've imagined he was this level of rich. His house was a goddamn castle!
She was wondering if it was too late to back out of Felix's offer to stay over.
An older man dressed in a black suit opened the front door as (Y/N) and Felix approached. (Y/N) stopped suddenly as the man's glare landed on her.
"Duncan!" Felix exclaimed. "How are you, you serious old brute?"
"Good to see you, master Felix. This is your new...friend?"
The way he said it made (Y/N) wince.
Felix turned to her and threw an arm around her shoulders. "Don't be frightened, (Y/N). This is my family butler, Duncan. He looks terrifying, but his bark is worse than his bite."
(Y/N) tried to smile at Duncan, but he merely continued to stare her down. She shrunk into Felix's embrace, which, luckily, the taller boy noticed her discomfort and brought her into the house. With his arm still around her, Felix brought (Y/N) around the giant house. There was so much to see, so much to know. There was simply no way she'd remember it all. She expected to get lost just trying to get to the bathroom.
Luckily, that wouldn't be a problem at least, as Felix led her into his room. "Your room is just through here. We'll be sharing a bathroom. Hope you don't mind."
She was glad he wasn't facing her so he missed the look on her face at his statement.
Felix threw the door to her room open with a flourish before turning to her. "And this is where you'll be staying. Don't worry about unpacking, the butlers will do that for you. It has a nice view of the garden and such, and I'm just next door past the bathroom, as you've already seen."
He flopped down onto her bed and stretched out so he was taking up the entire bed. (Y/N) pushed his leg over a bit so she could sit next to him. "It's a lot to take in."
"I know," Felix said. He rolled onto his side to look up at her. "It'll feel like a lot, but I promise my family will love you. And if it gets overwhelming, I'll be here."
He put his hand on her leg. She looked down at it, the heat from where his hand was touching rising from that spot all the way up to her face. Her entire body felt like it had been ignited by a simple gesture to try and bring her comfort. She wondered if Felix knew what he did to her.
She tried not to let her disappointment show as Felix stood, removing his hand from her leg.
"I'll let you unwind or whatever," he said. "Dinner isn't until 5, so you have plenty of time to yourself until then. You brought a dress, right?" She nodded. "Good. Mum and dad insist on fancy dinner wear. It's a little embarrassing. I'll be in my room if you need anything."
And just like that, he was gone. (Y/N) sighed and fell back onto the bed.
This definitely was not how she expected to spend her summer. She had started her time at Oxford as an outcast, a scholarship loser among a sea of rich kids. She tired not to let it get to her. Getting into Oxford at all was a big deal, (Y/N) knew to be proud of that. But that didn't make the whispers and dirty looks directed towards her any easier to take.
She didn't seek out friendship with anyone, let alone with Felix. Of course, she had noticed Felix. Who wouldn't? He was beautiful and had charm for days. Everyone loved him. But (Y/N) knew better than to try and approach him. They were from two completely different worlds, and (Y/N) knew she didn't belong in his world.
To her surprise, it was Felix who initiated first contact.
They were in an English class together. Felix had sat next to her one day and asked, "Did you finish the reading for today?" (Y/N) was so shocked that he had spoken to her that she could only nod in response. "Can you summarize it for me? I tried to read it but it was so fucking boring."
Apparently, that one act of kindness was enough to consider (Y/N) a friend. Felix invited her to sit with him at the bar, to come study in his room, to go to the "invite only" parties on campus. His other rich friends didn't seem to enjoy her company, but he did and that's all that mattered.
When (Y/N) told Felix she had nowhere to go for the summer, he invited her to come stay with him and his family in Saltburn. He refused to take no for an answer. So now here she was, in a bedroom that only had a bathroom to separate her and the boy she had started developing feelings for but knew she couldn't have, in a house the size of a castle owned by a family who mad more money than she'd ever see in her life.
She let out another sigh for good measure before sitting up. She still had plenty of time before dinner, but she wanted to make sure she was presentable to meet Felix's family for the first time. She got up and went to the bathroom, locking the door that led to Felix's room just in case. There was no shower, so she had to opt for a bath. She tried to be quick, but once she had laid in the oversized tub and allowed the hot water to engulf her, she never wanted to get out. Maybe she could spend the entire summer in the tub instead of dealing with Felix's family.
When the water began to go cold, she reluctantly got out and returned to her room. She had packed the limited amount of makeup she owned just in case there were any formal gatherings she needed to dress up for. Now she was definitely glad she had if dinner was meant to be a formal thing. She did her makeup carefully to make sure it was perfect, then dug through her bag for the dress she had packed. It wasn't anything super fancy, just a royal blue, off the shoulder dress with a pleated skirt that came down just above the knee. It was the nicest dress she owned, so eh hoped it would suffice.
There was still some time before dinner, but (Y/N) figured it was time to meet the family.
She stepped out of her room and realized she had no idea where to go to find the dining room.
"Need help?"
(Y/N) jumped and turned to see Duncan stood, blank faced yet again, looking at her,
"Yes please," she responded, her voice soft.
"Follow me," Duncan told her. He didn't wait to see if she was following, she she quickly troted along behind him to keep up.
The Catton family was sat around the dinner table already when Duncan led (Y/N) into the room. All eyes turned to her when she walked in. She suddenly felt very self conscious and wished she was back in the hot, welcoming bath tub.
Until she caught Felix looking at her as if she were the most beautiful thing he had ever laid his eyes on.
"Oh, Felix, darling," an older woman sat at the head of the table - Felix's mom - said. "She is absolutely beautiful."
His mom stood from her seat and quickly approached (Y/N). She gently cupped (Y/N)'s cheeks. (Y/N) tensed, unsure of what to do. Mrs. Catton didn't seem to notice, or if she did she didn't let on.
"Honey, you didn't tell us how beautiful she was," Mrs. Catton said to her son.
"You never believe me," Felix retorted.
Mrs. Catton turned back to (Y/N). "Welcome, darling. We're very happy to have you here. You can call me Lady Elspeth." She took (Y/N)'s hands and squeezed them, then gestured towards the table. "We left a seat free next to Felix for you. Come, sit. Dinner will be served soon."
(Y/N) quickly moved to the table, oping to no longer be the center of attention. Felix was still smiling at her as she sat down next to him.
"You do look beautiful," he said.
Her face started heating up. "Thank you."
Across from them, a throat cleared. Felix glanced up at his cousin. (Y/N) didn't miss the subtle change in Felix's expression. "(Y/N), this is my cousin, Farleigh, and my sister, Venetia."
"Oh, I know Farleigh," she said, looking over at the other young man. He gave her an obviously forced smile. "I-I mean, I know of Farleigh. I've seen you around on campus."
"Weird that I haven't seen you. It's not like Felix to hide his friends away," Farleigh said.
"I wasn't hiding her away." Felix's face was tense. (Y/N) wondered what the story between him and Farleigh was. They seemed to get along well on campus, or at least Farleigh was in Felix's friend group.
Dinner was served, thus breaking up the tense moment. A plate was placed in front of everyone and they all began to eat. (Y/N) tried not to draw too much attention to herself, but she knew her presence alone was drawing attention. Both Farleigh and Venetia weren't very subtle with the way they were staring at her.
"So, (Y/N)," Elspeth said after a few moments of silence, "what is it you're studying at Oxford?"
"English," (Y/N) responded. "I'd like to be a writer when I graduate, but I know that's not an entirely realistic dream so I'm aiming to be an English teacher as a backup."
"Oh, writing! That's wonderful, darling!" Elspeth said. (Y/N) was somewhat shocked that Elspeth seemed genuine with her interest. "Have you written anything yet?"
"A few short stories." She shrugged. "Nothing major."
"'Nothing major'?" Felix questioned. "She's won contests with her short stories! Remember, you told me one of your stories was published in an anthology of short stories when you were still in high school?"
Elspeth and Felix's dad, Sir James, were impressed, while (Y/N) was surprised that Felix had remembered her telling him that. He was smiling down at her in pride and she couldn't help but smile back at him.
"Is that how you got your scholarship?" Farleigh asked. The look on his face told (Y/N) that his question wasn't as genuine as Elspeth's had been.
"Farleigh," Felix sneered.
"What? I was just asking. It's not like it's a secret that she's a scholarship kid. There's no shame in needing some financial help."
"You would know, wouldn't you?"
"Boys," James said, his voice stern in warning.
Dinner fell quiet after that. (Y/N) pushed her food around her plate, suddenly no longer hungry. She was back to wishing she could melt away into the floor and never be seen again. Maybe it wasn't too late to just go back to the school and stay in the dorms alone for the summer.
Once she had finished eating, she politely excused herself and went back to her room. She had paid enough attention when Duncan showed her to the dining room that she made it back with no issue. The minute the door closed behind her, she let out a sigh. A lump had started to form in her throat, but she was refusing to let herself cry. Even now while she was alone, she didn't want to give in to these feelings. She had to be strong, at least until she could get her things together and figure out a way back to the school.
As Felix had told her, the butlers had unpacked her bag while she was at dinner. It took her a moment to find her pajamas and makeup remover. She pulled on an oversized shirt she had packed to wear on the warm nights and was leaned over the dresser to start taking off her makeup, the shirt riding up just enough, when the door connecting her and Felix suddenly opened. Felix walked in, still in his suit from dinner, except he had removed his tie and the top few buttons had been undone. (Y/N) quickly stood up straight, pulling her shirt down to cover her ass.
"Don't you knock?" she asked.
"No, why would I?" he said.
"What if I was changing?"
"You weren't."
She rolled her eyes and went back to taking her makeup off, this time more cautious about how much of her was being exposed with Felix in the room.
"I just wanted to say I'm sorry about how Farleigh acted during dinner," Felix said.
(Y/N) paused for a moment. She glanced at Felix through the mirror. He was looking up at her with an expression that told her his apology was genuine.
"It's alright," she said.
"No, it wasn't alright. He shouldn't be saying those things about you. It's not like he's much different. My parents have financially supported him for years and let him stay here for free. At least you earned your scholarship, he only got his way in life because of his family."
"So did you, though." There was a beat, and (Y/N) quickly turned to face Felix. "Wait, I didn't mean - "
"No, you're right," he cut her off. "My parents have financially helped me, too. You're the only one among us who has really earned your spot at Oxford. It's not fair of Farleigh to try and make you feel small because you come from a different background."
(Y/N) wanted to tell him it wasn't just Farleigh, it was everyone at Oxford. Even Felix's own friend group had shunned (Y/N) when he introduced her to them. It felt like Felix was the only one who truly wanted to befriend (Y/N).
"You don't have to apologize for him," she said instead. "But I appreciate that you'd want to."
"You're my friend. I didn't bring you here to be insulted by my obnoxious cousin, I brought you here because I wanted you to spend the summer with us."
Friend.
Even though she knew that's all they were, it still stung to hear him say it. She wanted so much more than that, but it was wishful thinking to believe that Felix cause ever want more than that.
"I...I think I'm gonna just...get in bed."
He raised an eyebrow at her. "It's still only early."
"I know. All the travel just has me feeling pretty worn out."
"Okay."
He stood and (Y/N) expected him to go back to his room. When he started to unbutton his shirt more, her eyes nearly popped out of her head.
"What are you doing?!"
"I was going to stay over here tonight. If you were okay with that, that is."
"You're supposed to ask these things before you just start undressing."
Felix chuckled as (Y/N) turned her back to him. "You really don't want to watch as I undress?"
Of course I want to watch! "I'm just...trying to be courteous."
He laughed again. (Y/N) could hear the sounds of his clothes hitting the floor. She wondered why he hadn't at least gone back to his room to get a pair of pajamas. At least pajama pants. She was starting to get the feeling that at home, Felix didn't have to ask many questions, and that also extended towards his guests.
"Okay, I am covered."
When she turned back, he was under the covers of her bed, his hands behind his head so she could see that he was at least shirtless under there.
"The bed is big enough for us to share," he said, reading the shocked look on her face. "That is, again, if you don't mind."
"N-No. I-I guess that's fine."
(Y/N) crawled into bed next to Felix. She tried to put as much distance between the two of them as she could but, despite what Felix said, the bed certainly was not that big. She could still feel the heat from his body as she turned onto her side, her back to him. She could feel his nearness. And she could feel the fact that he was only wearing his boxers.
"You don't have to stay, you know," she said. "I'm not going to slip away during the night or something."
He bed shook a little as he laughed. "I know. I just wanted to stay over here. At the very least, I want to make sure you don't have any issues sleeping. I always find I struggle when I'm trying to sleep in a new place."
(Y/N) rolled onto her other side so that she could face Felix. The full moon was shining through the window, illuminating his face. He turned his head to look down at her.
"I really appreciate everything you've done for me, Felix," she said, her voice so soft it was nearly a whisper.
He smiled. "Get some sleep, (Y/N). I don't intend on having a boring day tomorrow if the weather is nice."
~~~~~~
When (Y/N) woke up the next morning, she completely forgot where she was. The bed was far too soft to be the one in her dorm at Oxford, and it was certainly too hot to be just a normal day during the schooling semester.
Not to mention the fact that there was a body laying under her.
(Y/N)'s eyes snapped open as she realized her head was resting on Felix's chest, and his arm around wrapped around her. At some point in the night, they must've shifted so that they were cuddling. (Y/N) wasn't sure if she should pull away or stay where she was. What would Felix's reaction be when he woke up and found them both in such a compromising position?
A knock came at her door. "Miss. (Y/N)?"
It was Duncan's voice. Now she was definitely panicking.
"Just checking if you're awake," he added.
"Uh...yeah! I am Duncan!" she called back.
"Breakfast is being served in ten minutes. Do wake up master Felix and let him know as well. His mother will want him to punctual since she didn't get as much time with him last night."
Her face burned. She wondered if Duncan knew Felix was in here with her, or if he meant for her to go over to Felix's room to wake him.
The sound of footsteps retreating down the hallway told her that Duncan had walked away. She let out a breath, relaxing into Felix's side yet again. She felt him move beneath her and she quickly pulled out of his arms before he started to wake up.
She was shocked at how beautiful he looked in the morning. The same perfect beauty he had when he fell asleep. Not a single hair out of place, no drool on his lips, no sleepy gunk in his eyes. It was really unfair just how perfect he really was.
His eyes slowly blinked open and he smiled when he saw (Y/N) looking down at him. "Good morning."
"Morning," she said. "Uh, Duncan was just here. He said breakfast is in ten minutes."
Felix groaned. "I don't want to get up yet. Why does mum have to have breakfast so early?"
(Y/N) looked at the clock hung on the wall. "It's almost 10am."
"Far too early to wake up in the summer."
She couldn't help but chuckle a little. Felix stretched his arms out and sat up as well. His face was suddenly very close to hers, almost too close.
"I suppose I should get ready for breakfast then," he said.
"Is there any dress code for breakfast?"
He shook his head. "Not for breakfast, but the dress code for today's events is a bathing suit. Once we finish eating, I'm taking you down to the lake."
~~~~~~
A few hours later, (Y/N) was following Felix towards the lake next to his house. It was a scorching hot day outside. One that was definitely better spent in the cooling water instead of cooped up inside.
Farleigh and Venetia were already by the lake. Farleigh was laid back on a towel, reading some book, while Venetia was sat by the lake with her feet in the water. She looked over her shoulder as she heard the two approach and smiled.
"Well, here they are!" she announced. "Finally you're here."
"Pull up a towel," Farleigh said, not looking up from his book.
(Y/N) went to sit on the grass, but Venetia called, "Not you! You're joining me down here. I've been surrounded by this testosterone for far too long."
She wasn't about to argue. She was already coated in sweat just from walking down from the house. (Y/N) sat beside Venetia and placed her feet in the water. The sudden cold was like a shock to her system, but definitely a welcome one.
"So, (Y/N)," Venetia said, "tell me, how did you and my brother meet?"
"We were in class together," (Y/N) responded. "I helped him with an assigned reading he had trouble with."
"Saved my ass from failing that surprise test the professor gave us," Felix added.
"It wasn't a surprise, he told us about it the class before," (Y/N) said.
"I wasn't there that class, so it was a surprise to me."
"Was that the day you were too hungover after a dorm party on a Sunday night?" Farleigh asked.
"A Sunday?!" (Y/N) laughed.
"It was a surprise party for one of my friends in the dorm," Felix responded. "He had gone home for the weekend so we had to have the party that Sunday. I didn't plan to get fucked up that night."
"You never do," Farleigh commented.
"What about your family, (Y/N)?" Venetia interrupted. "Are they okay with you spending your summer with a load of strangers?"
Felix opened his mouth to deter his sister from asking, but (Y/N) cut him off by saying, "My parents are dead."
A silence fell over them. Venetia looked a mixture of horrified and sad. Farleigh lowered his book to look over at (Y/N). Felix was trying not to look at any of them while (Y/N) was fixing her attention on the water in front of her. She was running her feet back and forth, disrupting the otherwise calm water.
"They died when I was ten," she continued. "Car accident, drunk driver. I've lived with my grandparents since then, but my grandpa died a year ago and my gran is starting to develop dementia. When I got accepted into Oxford, I made a deal with the Dean that I could stay on campus during the summers until I could afford my own place."
Venetia looked like she was about to cry. (Y/N) suddenly wished she had lied and made up some story about her parents.
"Way to ruin the moon, V," Farleigh commented.
"I didn't know!" Venetia retorted.
"No, it's fine," (Y/N) cut off their bickering. "It's tough, but I've had years to come to terms with all the death, and gran is in a nursing home now so she's being taken care of. I don't want anyone to tip toe around me like I'm made of glass."
As if to make her point, (Y/N) pushed off the edge of the lake and into the water. She shrieked as the cold engulfed her. Venetia followed suit, and soon enough both of them had convinced Farleigh and Felix to get into the water as well. The conversation was long forgotten as they swam around, splashing one another as if they were children.
~~~~~~
That night, (Y/N) was sat in the garden underneath her bedroom window. With the sun gone down, the air had cooled off, but only slightly. The room was still too stuffy for her, and opening the window just made it worse, so she opted to sit out in the cool air before she tried to sleep again.
Footsteps approached and she expected it to be Felix. When she turned, she was surprised to see Venetia instead, dressed in a sheer nightgown and carrying a lit cigarette between her fingers.
"Mind if I sit?" Venetia asked.
"I feel like I should be the one asking you that, considering it's your house."
Venetia chuckled and sat next to her.
(Y/N)'s first impression of Venetia had been wrong, and she was kind of glad it had been. She thought that, like Farleigh, Venetia was also going to be a little catty and condescending towards her. But after their day by the lake, she felt a sort of kinship with Venetia. They were the only two young girls at Saltburn, they had to look out for one another at the very least.
"So, how are you enjoying your stay so far?" Venetia asked.
"It's lovely here," (Y/N) said. "Much better than spending the summer at the Oxford campus along. At least there's a lot of the house to explore, and at least two people who seem to want me here."
"Three, if you count mum. She's ecstatic to have you. If you're not careful, she might just try and adopt you."
"I wouldn't complain."
Venetia took a drag from her cigarette and blew the smoke into the air. "And, um...has Felix been treating you well?"
(Y/N) looked over at her with confusion. "I'd...say more than well. Why?"
"I just..." Venetia leaned over, resting her arms against her legs. "I'm not saying this to try and scare you or anything. I truly like you, (Y/N), and I just want to warn you because I know how my brother is. He often takes someone who is a little more...damaged than him under his wing and brings them back here for a few months. But once the summer ends, or once he's lost interest, he casts them aside for whatever new shiny toy catches his attention."
Venetia's words hit (Y/N) like a ton of bricks. She had been telling herself for months since meeting Felix that their friendship was too good to be true, that he was going to realize he was making a mistake and move on. But when he didn't, when he asked her back to his house for the summer, she thought that maybe she was wrong. Maybe he actually did care for her and wanted to be friends with her. She had a tiny glimmer of hope that maybe this summer would bring them closer together, that they could become more than just friends.
If anyone would know how Felix was, it would be Venetia. She was his sister. She had seen a lifetime of the way Felix acted with friends. If she was warning her of the possibility that Felix might toss her aside once the summer ended, then she felt inclined to believe Venetia.
"Again, I'm not telling you this as a way to make you upset," Venetia added. "Trust me, I want nothing more than for you to stay with us for the summer. I just really do not want you to get hurt if that's what happens with Felix."
Tears were forming in (Y/N)'s eyes again. She was having a harder time at fighting them than the night before after all Farleigh had said to her. She quickly stood and murmured a "goodnight" to Venetia before rushing back inside the house. She got to her bedroom just in time for the tears to start falling.
Stupid! You're so stupid for thinking you belonged here in his world. You're nothing more than a charity case for him!
(Y/N) sunk to the floor and buried her head in her hands. She cried and cried until the tears dried up and she was essentially dry sobbing. Her eyes felt heavy and her body was aching from being on the floor for so long. She just wanted to go to back to the school and pretend this entire trip never happened.
When she finally coaxed herself to stand, (Y/N) went to the bathroom to wash her face and brush her teeth before bed. She looked at herself in the mirror and winced. Her eyes were swollen and red, her cheeks were flush, and there were tear stains on her cheeks from crying. She grabbed a face cloth and wet it down with warm water. Before she could start wiping her face, the door leading to Felix's room opened. She froze, the wet cloth in her hands.
"Hey," Felix said. She thought for a moment that he hadn't noticed her state, until suddenly he was beside her. "What happened? Are you alright?"
"I'm fine," she said, wincing again at the sound of her horse voice.
"You don't look or sound fine."
She began to wipe her face, trying to ignore Felix's presence. As she rinsed the face cloth again, she said, "I think I'm going to call the Dean tomorrow to ask if my room is still available at the school, then look into getting the next train back to Oxford as soon as possible."
"What? Why? I thought you wanted to stay."
(Y/N) shook her head. "I don't belong here, Felix. This is your world, not mine. I'm just the girl with dead parents and a scholarship, struggling to figure out how or if I'll ever be financially stable enough to live on my own once the school kicks me out."
"What did Farleigh say to you?"
"It wasn't Farleigh!" she snapped, finally turning to face him. "It was Venetia! She told me that you don't let people stick around for long. That you take in the charity cases and toss them aside when you're bored. And I knew that's what was happening with me, I knew there was no way you could possibly want to be friends with me, but I was also stupid enough to let myself believe that maybe it was all real. That maybe you actually cared and you actually wanted me here!"
She was crying again. She must've looked and sounded insane. She wished she had never accepted Felix's offer to come here. She could only imagine what he would say about her when she left the next day.
"I'm not staying here and waiting to be hurt, Felix," she said. "You may think it's fun to toy with people's emotions, but I don't. Not when I trusted you in telling you about my parents, about my stories, about my sad little poor life."
She had more to say, although she wasn't sure if any of it would've made sense, but Felix cut her off before she could. He took hold of her face and pulled her in for a kiss. It surprised her at first and she pulled away almost immediately. He looked down at her, worried, like he was scared he had just crossed a line. When her brain finally caught up to what was happening, she quickly leaned back in to kiss him again.
Her hands held on to his shirt while one of his still cupped her face and the other started to move down her body. With one quick movement, he had lifted her up onto the counter and wrapped her legs around his waist. Her hands moved to tangle into his hair. His tongue moved across her bottom lip, silently asking for entrance to her mouth. She realized he was commando under his pajama pants when she felt him pressed against her, the only layer between being her panties as she was once again in the oversized shirt she had worn the night before.
Felix broke away first. She tried to follow him, but he held her back, a playful grin on his face.
"I don't want you to go," he said. "I want you here. Not just for this summer, but every summer from now on. I want you in my dorm room back at school, and eventually in my own place when we finish with school. I want you, (Y/N). You're not some toy to me."
"How long have you felt like this?" she asked.
"Since before I spoke to you in class that first day."
"Why did you wait so long to tell me?"
"I kept chickening out. Every girl I've been with has only wanted me for my money, or my looks, or both. No one has ever really cared for me as a person. When you did, it almost intimidated me. I needed to know for sure you'd be here for the long run, so I brought you home to see how you'd react to everything."
"Am I passing the test?"
He chuckled and kissed her again. "With flying colors."
She couldn't get enough of him; of his lips, his smile, his body against hers, his hands on her. She wanted all of him all the time. She suddenly never wanted to leave either of their rooms for the rest of the summer.
"You can still go back to school if you feel uncomfortable here. I wouldn't blame you there," he said. "But if you're going back, I'm coming with you."
She shook her head. "I couldn't take you away from your family."
"Then stay. I want you to be here, too. I want to be with you."
She grinned cheekily back at him. "If you're going to beg, you should be on your knees at least."
He raised an eyebrow at her. "If that's what you want."
She wanted all of him all the time, but she decided not to say that just yet. She was still a little cautious. She had to make sure Felix meant what he was saying, even if she felt deep down that he was. He needed to prove himself to her before she opened up that much to him.
But for now, she would definitely take the sight of him on his knees, his face between her legs as his hands pushed the shirt up around her hips.
If you ever explain how your best friend usually treats you, it can only be summed up into one word: gentle.
He treats you like glass. A beautiful, priceless artifact that requires great care. He pays for everything you own— your dresses, handbags, shoes. Even where you live, the infamous Saltburn estate. Every time he speaks to you, it’s like he’s speaking to a pet— sweet, gentle, but commanding all at once. In his eyes, you’re an innocent angel…or, as he puts it, a sweet bunny.
And you fucking hate it.
It doesn’t bother you in the sense that Felix cares for you; quite the contrary, in fact. You like his warmth, how protective he is, how sweet and kind he can be.
But he treats you too kindly. Too much like his other friends, too much like his sister, too much like a companion.
Not enough like a lover.
It seems that he’s completely oblivious to your longing stares, the way you follow him around and practically worship the ground he walks on. He never seems to grasp why you sit in his lap at parties, squirming around just a little too much, or why you cuddle up to him in his room when you’ve had a nightmare in your skimpy nightdress. He stares off into a space between and kisses girls right in front of you.
You want him to treat you like the sluts he brings home.
The whispers of how the boy fucks is something you’ve grown accustomed to. The girls you had become acquainted with who had slept with him, giggling to you about how much of a good lay he was. How mean, how brutal he was. How big he was.
‘This doesn’t bother you, does it? God, I know it’s weird because he’s your best friend ‘n all, but I don’t understand why you haven’t done him yet. I would’ve thought… y’know, given how close you two are...’
It makes you sick, knowing he does it to other girls and not you.
And now, sitting on a couch at one of Felix’s infamous Saltburn parties, you watch as he does it once again.
Your nose slides across the glass table in front of you. Two people sit beside you, making friendly conversation, but you can’t focus on them. Your nose is filled to the brim with glittery white powder as you stare at Felix’s new side piece through your faux lashes.
He’s got her in his lap, this girl. Olivia is her name, or something like that. You don’t like her. She’s too needy, clinging onto him a little too much for just a simple hookup. His hand grabs her hip as she presses kisses to his neck. He’s laughing, splayed across the leather couch across from you, as she whispers dirty phrases into his ear. You can tell that that’s what she’s doing because she’s grinding against him like a bitch in heat. It makes you stomach churn.
“(Y/N!)”
Your head looks up, and Farleigh stands in front of you. You give him a smile, though it’s mostly fake. You love him, but you can’t stop thinking about Felix.
Felix and her.
Farleigh chats with you about some guy he’s about to go and hook up with, telling you his whereabouts as a safety precaution. You nod to him as he leaves.
Felix has his hand up her skirt, now. He’s gripping her ass and rocking up into her clothed cunt.
You can’t look any longer.
You stumble to your feet, the room spinning a bit before turning to normal. An intoxicated kind of giddiness flows through you, and you brush past the couch and try to get Felix off your mind. You spot one of his new companions— Oliver. He’s quite handsome, you think. A little weird, a little quiet, but he’ll do for sure.
It isn’t long before you’ve got him in between your thighs in an empty corridor, a buzz flowing from your toes up to the crown of your head as he thrusts his tongue mercilessly into your drenched heat. He draws circles into your clit and laps at you like he’s parched. Oh, he’s good. Practiced, precise. He loves to please.
But he isn’t Felix.
Although Oliver’s tongue is skilled, it isn’t necessarily that that gets you to your peak. When you cum, you think of a familiar brunette with an eyebrow piercing, a wide smile, and dreamy eyes.
You let Oliver fuck you against the wall, after that.
It feels good. He’s big, rough, mean. Just how you like it.
Just how you want Felix to be.
You decide not to return to the party.
Your bare feet pad against the tiles of the Saltburn estate, your heels in your hand . The hallway is empty, save for one or two stragglers. No one really comes to this side of the house. You’re attempting to walk— or in this case, stumble— to your room. But everything is blurry, your feet dancing, and—
Shit, is this even your hallway?
You don’t know, really. You’re drunk, high. You don’t give a shit.
Your fingers are dancing across the walls, admiring the intricate paintings placed on each one. You lick your lips and taste a tequila shot, your dress askew. Fuck it.
You’re admiring The Fallen Angel by Alexandra Cabanel when you hear them.
It starts out slow— a deep, guttural moan, from the door to your left. It translates into a familiar voice, growling.
“What?” It teases. “Is my cock too much for you? Too big, huh?”
And then another sound comes through the thin walls and slightly opened door. A high pitched whine, pleading.
“Felix! Please, it feels so good.”
Your brows furrow. Drunken confusion. You silently creep up to the door, wondering. Your eyes peek through at the scene.
The color drains from your face.
Of course it’s Felix. Felix and her.
He’s got her bent over an expensive wood table. He’s pulling her hair, pressing his hips into her with every push and pull. She’s got her mouth open as her eyes roll back in ecstasy, and her cunt swallows him whole.
Your shoes drop to the ground in utter shock.
Now that seems to grab the pair’s attention. Felix looks back, and his eyes catch your dilated ones. He curses, slipping out of her and trying to conceal himself as he pulls his pants up. The girl catches sight of you, too, and she’s instantly pulling down her top and throwing her clothes on.
“Christ, Bunny!” Felix exclaims, flushed. “The fuck are you doing all the way over here?”
Your bottom lip wobbles, but you won’t cry. Not in front of him. Not in front of his whore.
You turn before you even know what you’re doing, and you scurry away from the scene with tears running hotly down your cheeks.
So much for parties.
When you wake in the morning, you’ve got a pounding headache and you’re sprawled out on your bed.
Your body aches, and you whine as you turn over on your side. The memories of last night flood back into your psyche, and you want to throw up. Of course the one thing you don’t want to remember is buried so prominently into your skull that it’s the first thing you think about.
It’s not like Felix hasn’t fucked anyone before. But seeing it, actually watching him do it to another girl, makes you sick. You don’t know how you’re going to look him in the eye at breakfast.
You stand up on wobbly legs. You make your way to the bathroom, throw your guts up at least twice, and then brush your teeth. A warm shower calms you down, though your head still hurts. You’ll have to take some ibuprofen later.
You make your way to the dining room in a juicy tracksuit and brown ugg boots. You slide a pair of sunnies on your face to protect you from the blinding sun, letting out a pained moan when it shines through the large stain glass window.
“Good morning, sunshine!” Farleigh coos from the table. You give him the middle finger before plopping down in a seat beside Oliver. His eyes scan over you, taking in your appearance. His knee bumps against yours, and he whispers a quiet ‘good morning’ to you.
God, he’s a clingy little shit, isn’t he?
Felix’s eyes follow your every move. Usually you sit next to him in the mornings, but as of right now, why bother? The closer to get to him, the more vivid the image of him fucking her comes into your mind.
You swallow down a few pieces of toast and some orange juice. Elsbeth is talking about a party reserved for Oliver for his birthday, one that they will host this weekend. How absolutely and utterly fan-fucking-tastic.
Oh, well. You’ll be able to dress up, at least. That’ll probably be the best part.
You ignore Felix for the entirety of the day. There’s still that fire coiling in your gut everytime you look at him, that hot bubble of rage and jealousy. Oliver looks up at you through long eyelashes during a game of tennis, and you find the way to satiate that heat.
It’s an awful idea. A terrible, mean, despicable idea.
You knew Felix would be out. It was around five pm— the time when he usually begins coming back to the house from his afternoon run. He would be back in twenty to thirty minutes.
“You’re incredibly fucked. Do you know that?”
Oliver whispers it huskily, pleased, as you push him down on a set of familiar satin sheets. You smirk, your cunt grinding down onto him.
“And you’re not?”
He grunts as you unbutton his shirt. You kiss down his chest, soon getting rid of your bra and top. You rock back on him slowly, teasing. His hand moves around to grope your ass, but you grab ahold of his wrist.
“Are you going to behave?”
A smirk plays on his lips. You want to slap it off of him.
“No.”
You snake your hand down to his bulge, giving it a considerable squeeze. He lets out a tiny gasp, biting his lower lip.
“What was that?” You say, almost threatening.
He gulps. He looks almost cute with the blush dusting across his face.
“Yes.” he whispers. You ghost your fingers over his waistband.
“What was that?”
“Yes, I’ll behave.”
He hisses it, and you’re pleased.
“Good boy.”
And then when he’s inside you, you bounce on him like your life depends on it. You look up above Felix’s bed, at the framed picture of you and him. He had hung it up, and for that you’re thankful. You concentrate on the way photo Felix’s fingers tightly grip a shot glass. Oliver lets out tiny whines as you clench around his cock, and you grind your clit against the base of him. You know that Felix catches you both when you look back at the slightly cracked door and see him there— blue headband, muscle tee and shorts. When you lock eyes, he moves away from the door and down the hall with a clenched jaw and cheeks blooming red.
The days pass from one into three, and soon it’s Oliver’s birthday. Felix has avoided you, much to your dismay. You thought he would give in sooner. If you didn’t know any better, you would think that he was trying to pretend the situation didn’t happen altogether. But the hard stare he gives you whenever he sees you, the clenching of his hands, and the plain ignorance of your presence gives him away.
You’ve decided to dress as a Bunny for Oliver’s infamous costume party. Your favorite animal, but also another way to piss Felix off. Wearing a pink bodysuit, sparkly fishnets, and pink bunny ears, you make your way into the party beside Venetia, who’s ranting about her current situationship with some girl she met at a club. Scanning the crowd, you take notice of Felix from across the room. Angel wings sit on his shoulders, his eyes lined with a black eye pencil. He’s wearing a white wifebeater.
You go to the bar and take a few shots to stifle your nerves. Felix’s eyes follow you as you grab a bottle from the bartender and make your way outside.
It isn’t long before you’re absolutely plastered. Giggling to yourself, you make your way towards the hedge maze in the backyard. Felix’s voice, the one he hasn’t used to talk to you directly for a few days, interrupts your diddle daddling.
“We need to talk.”
You keep walking, him trailing behind you.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Felix.”
His big hand grabbing your arm and spinning you around to look at him surprises you. He glares.
“You know exactly what I’m talking about.”
You back away, winding through the labyrinth of bushes. Felix groans as you begin to skip around each corner.
“This isn’t a game, y’know!” He calls, as he tries his best to keep up with you. It isn’t long before you’re both standing in the middle of the maze. The stone statue overpowers the both of your bodies as it leers down in a violent pose. You smile crookedly when Felix stalks over to you, making a beeline for the other side of the statue. It doesn’t seem to be funny to him.
He catches you when you least expect it, grabbing you by the shoulders.
“What the fuck is wrong with you, (Y/N)?!”
He yells it, infuriated, deep vocal cords strumming. It makes you jump. He never calls you by your real name.
He purses his lips, anger evident on his face as you smile up at him still.
“‘M jus’ having fun, Fel. Whats wrong with that?”
“What’s— what’s wrong with—“ he laughs, dry and humorless, as he pushes you away from him. “Whats wrong is that you fucked my friend in my room! What the hell went through your head?!“
You clench your teeth.
“I don’t know, Felix,” you utter sarcastically. “I really don’t know. Call it irritational horniness. But tell me. Are you mad? For once, once in your fucking life, are you mad?”
“Of course I’m mad!” he seethes, as if it’s obvious. “But why do you want that? What prompted this?”
You avert from his piercing gaze, turning your back on him. Your cheeks are flaring with heat from how he’s treating you, your inner thighs wet and sticky.
God, this is so wrong.
“I think you know.”
Genuinely confused, Felix throws up his hands. He’s exasperated.
“No, I don’t. I don’t, (Y/N), so tell me. Tell me the damn truth!”
“The truth?” You say, finally. “‘S that what you want?”
You whirl around, anger finally taking over in your usually pliant, doe eyes.
“The truth, Felix, is that you treat me like a kid!” You yell. Your voice cracks, and you hate it. “You treat me like a fucking child! Like your friend! Like a… like a—“
Your breath heaves, and you try to find the words you’re looking for. Felix looks at you, his brows furrowed.
You can’t open your mouth anymore, too distraught, too open. You’re saying all the things you promised you’d keep buried deep inside you.
Felix takes a step forward. You take a step back. Your lower back hits the stone statue, and you wince at the way it digs into your skin.
“What are you saying?” He asks, careful with his words. You laugh bitterly in his face— at least, as close as you can get to his face. He towers over you like a giant.
“I’m saying that after all this time, after all these years, I thought you’d notice how badly I want you. But clearly not, with the way I caught you fucking that cunt last weekend.”
The words finally come out— slurred because of your drunkenness, dry because you’ve given up. You’ve given up on Felix, on the possibility of him ever returning the feelings you’ve always had for him. You’ve given up on your friendship, on his kindness. You don’t want it anymore. Why continue this if it’s only going to hurt you?
The boy is stunned into silence for a mere moment.
“What?”
You turn away from his stare, looking down at the ground.
“You heard me, Felix.”
His eyes follow your lips, nose, eyes. His lips part ever so slightly, and his eyes are so dark that they’re almost black as realization settles over him.
“So that’s what you want?”
It comes out hushed, like a secret. His breath is hot against your lips as he leans in close to you.
“All this time you’ve been acting like this.. all because you want me to fuck you? Because you’re jealous?”
You stare up at him in a daze, silent. Your cheeks flare with embarrassment. You jump when Felix lets out a chuckle, something grating and deep, that permeates your bones and worms its way inside your guts.
“God, you’re sick.”
He scoffs, moving forward on his long legs. His big hand wraps itself around your hair and tugs. You let out a gasp as he tilts your head back, the burn of your scalp making your legs clench together.
“You’ve been torturing me for weeks—“ he spits, yanking at the roots of your hair even harder, and you let out a squeak. “— Not speaking to me, making me question what I could’ve possibly done wrong, fucking my friend in my bed, all because you want to me treat you like some whore?“
Your mouth gapes open, and you’re frozen like a deer in headlights as Felix finally gives you what you want. He continues to speak, but not before his knee is coming up to rub in between your thighs. It’s such a sudden movement, so aggressive, that your legs buckle and you grab onto his shoulders for purchase. His hands splay across your hips, moving you in tandem across the fabric of his jeans.
“Don’t worry.” He says. “You’ll never have to worry about that again.”
“Felix—” you start, but his hand slapping you clear across the face makes you lose all words. Your cheek flares with heat from his hand coming down on it, and you grasp the red mark in pain.
“Was he good?” he growls, grabbing the hand touching your face and putting it in his much larger one. He places it over his crotch, and you feel the giant bulge against the fabric. “Was he as big as me? Did he fuck you the way you thought I would?”
You shake, stuttering on every phrase in your vocabulary. Felix grinds into your hand.
“You think that I don’t want you like this?”
It comes out strained, tortured. Like it’s painful for you to even assume that. Your mouth waters at the feeling of his girth underneath your palm.
“I’ve never been this hard for anyone,” he breathes. “I jerked my cock every night when you were in my bed because I thought it was the closest I could get to you. I fucking…God, do you even know what you do me?“
He works his thigh against your pussy, and you whine desperately as you pull away from his assault on you. You kiss your way down his chest, worship his body, lave your tongue over the skin peeking out from his unbuttoned shirt as you sink down to your knees. Your hands fumble with his belt, waiting for the moment when his cock will be released and you’ll finally get what you’ve been begging for. He grunts, tilting his head as he watches you desperately fumble with the leather around his waist.
“Already trying to suck me off? You’re even more pathetic than I thought.”
You press your mouth against his thigh and practically drool at his words. He looks down at you like a God, golden angel wings splaying out in the moonlight for you to gape at. How ironic it is, that he decided to wear this costume tonight.
“All for you, Felix,” you say, pulling his cock out of the confines of his jeans. You gape at his impressive length.
“That’s right,” he agrees, his thumb brushing over your lip. “Now put me in your mouth. Show me how much of a fucking slut you are.”
You do as you’re told, tongue lolling out to lick a stripe up his shaft. He clenches his jaw, watching as you hold eye contact with him when you take his dick into the warm, wet confines of your mouth. His hand wraps around the nape of your neck and he pushes you down onto him. Choking, your nose hits the soft bed of pubic hair trimmed neatly at his base. Your eyes roll back as he begins to fuck your throat, pleasure and electricity flowing through your head and down to your toes. The corners of your mouth burn as he stretches out your mouth.
“Didn’t know you could take dick so good,” Felix muses, his balls slapping against your chin. “If I would’ve known how badly you wanted this, I would’ve slid my cock inside you the night you caught me with that girl.”
That girl. He can’t even remember her name. It satisfies something dark that’s been blooming in you since you saw him sticking his dick where it didn’t belong.
You moan around him, spit trailing down your neck as you tongue at his slit. Your hands grip his big, meaty thighs, and it occurs to you just how strong he is. He could break you, rip you apart piece by piece, and you couldn’t do anything about it. The thought arouses you to no end.
“You pissed me off so fuckin’ much that night, y’know that?” He rambles, his thighs squeezing the sides of your face. He’s practically trapping you against his cock, and you try your hardest to breathe through your nose but you can feel your vision blurring at the edges. “You caught me in the middle of it, didn’t even say sorry. Didn’t help me finish. You’re a sick little bitch for watching me fuck her. I bet you touched yourself after that, didn’t you? Touched your little cunt thinking about the way I used her?”
You whimper around him, your fingers attempting to move down and rub against your clit. But Felix lets out a sound in the back of his throat and kicks your hand away.
“Don’t. You don’t get to cum tonight. You put your hands on me, or you don’t put them on anything at all.”
Your hands wrap around the back of his thighs, then, as you hollow your cheeks around him. You’ll do anything he demands you to.
After a long moment of being face fucked with only a few breathing breaks in between, your throat is scratchy and raw. Felix yanks you off of him, and you wheeze as you’re thrown to the ground, your hand going to your throat as your eyes drip with citrine tears. Felix stands for a moment to let you catch your breath. He’s still your best friend, after all— he cares about your well being, as angry as he is right now.
It isn’t long, however, before he’s grabbing you up by your elbow and bending you over the marble statue. Your cheek lands on the cold stone, the crotch of your bodysuit is ripped open, exposing your lace panties and the fat globes of your ass. You stick yourself out for him, moaning as he rips your underwear off of you and throws it on the ground. He spreads your legs and coos at your dripping cunt.
“Oh, look at that,” his fingers go to either side of your pussy lips, spreading them apart and revealing your teeny tiny hole. “It’s clenching s’much, isn’t it, sweetheart? It’s all swollen ‘n red. It’s been so worked up all night, I bet.”
“Felix,” you cry, a blubbering mess. “Please.”
He chuckles, rubbing the tip of his finger against your clit. You quiver underneath his touch, gasping when his aching cockhead suddenly brushes up against your entrance.
“I want to know how badly you want me. Tell me, darling. Tell me how pathetic you are.”
“I want it,” your voice comes out small, weak. “I want you to fuck me until I can’t feel my legs. Wan’ you to stretch me out on your fat cock, Felix. Give it t’me, pleasepleaseplease…”
He lets out a dreamy sigh, feeling you trying to clench around the tip of his cock, trying to suck him in. Your head is fuzzy, your cunt throbbing. You need him more than you need air.
“Okay,” he lets out, whispering. It’s an oddly gentle tone, and you know it’s because this situation could change the outcome of your friendship forever. “Okay, sweetheart.”
He pushes forward, the fat tip of his cock popping into your entrance, and you let out a mewl. Felix is big, and not just in his height or his shoulders. He stretches you so deliciously to the point where it’s borderline painful.
“Oh my god,” he grits his teeth, his head tipping back. “God, you’re a tight little thing. So tiny..”
You know he’s talking to your pussy now, drunk off the way you’re wrapping around his shaft. He moves slow, gentle strokes against your aching pussy, his fingers digging bruises into your hips as he struggles to contain himself.
Your cheek is smushed against the hard surface below you, but that doesn’t stop you from speaking.
“It’s okay,” you assure him, moaning. “Destroy me, rip me apart.. I don’t care, Felix.”
He moans along with you, a sound of pure, unleashed pleasure. His hips speed up, and he fucks into your cunt with reckless abandon as your nails dig into the marble below you. His cock is so deep that you can almost feel him in your throat.
He angles at a spot inside that has you keening, your hips fucking back onto him as he rams into you. Your nails scrape against the statue, tears running down your cheeks.
“Felix,” you moan out, but it’s hard to speak as the breath is being knocked out of you.
“Mmm,” he hums, grabbing your hips. “‘M gonna cum. ‘M gonna cum in your sweet little pussy.”
“Please,” you gasp. “Please, fill me up, fill up my pussy!”
“That’s what you want, isn’t it?” His arms lift your body up, and his biceps curl around your neck. Your eyes widen as he tightens his grip, placing you in a chokehold underneath him. His hips slap against yours, his steady words bordering on a whine. “You want me to cum inside you? Get you all pregnant and full? Mmm, that’d be a pretty sight, wouldn’t it…”
You clench down on him. He growls, a sigh of your name tumbling out of his mouth. His hips stutter. And with one last harsh thrust, he’s cumming. His warmth fills you to the brim and spills over the cusp as he fucks into you, teeth scraping against your neck as he bites down and leaves a mark. Sweat drips drown your temple, small pants escaping your lips as you try to swallow oxygen into your lungs. Felix’s arms are still wrapped around you neck, but they aren’t wrapped tight enough to cut off your air completely.
Definitely tight enough to bruise, though.
He slows, after a few more moments. You still grind onto his overstimulated cock, and he squeezes your throat in warning.
“What did I tell you? You don’t get to cum tonight.”
Your face becomes blotchy with tears, and you sob as he pulls out of you. His cum spills down onto the concrete floor, your pussy gushing with his seed, and you want to scream.
“But Felix,” you babble, grabbing onto his arm as he tucks himself back into his pants. “No, baby, please—“
“This is what you wanted,” he replies, nonchalant, as if he didn’t just fuck your brains out. His glances down at the creamy spend that had fallen out of you and onto the ground. Grabbing you by your hair, he pushes you down onto your knees. He gestures to his cum, licking his lips.
“Now clean that up,” he demands. “Wouldn’t want to leave a mess, would we?”
Pairing: Felix Catton x F. Reader
Platonic Pairing(s): Venetia Catton & F. Reader | Farleigh Start & F. Reader
Feat. Character(s): Reader, Felix Catton, Venetia Catton, Farleigh Start & Oliver Quick
Summary: Not only are you dating Felix and best friends with Venetia, the three of you have matching tattoos — something that Oliver simply cannot stand
Word Count: 967
Warnings: Voyeurism (briefly mentioned), Nudity (implied — as this takes place in the field), Unprotected sex (briefly mentioned/implied)
Authors Note: I love the little detail that Felix and Venetia have those matching star tattoos on their hands, so I came up with this little fic about how reader has matching tattoos with both Catton siblings (cause I honestly feel like that’s such a Felix and Venetia thing to do) | This is also my first ever Saltburn fic so I’m hoping that I was able to do the characters justice | If you liked this, don’t forget to like & reblog. I really appreciate it! Feedback is always welcome ♡
Oliver couldn’t help but stare at the small crescent moon tattoo on your ankle; the exact same crescent moon tattoo that both Felix and Venetia had — and in the exact same place — the right ankle.
He wasn’t…jealous, no that wasn’t the right word, but that was the only word that came to mind for him. He didn’t want a tattoo, was never a fan of them on himself, but, seeing you in particular with this tattoo was hitting him, hitting him harder than he’d particularly like to admit. You weren’t family — you were Venetia’s best friend and Felix’s…girlfriend. He understood the little stars that Venetia and Felix had — they were siblings and had an intense unique bond. But you…you were nobody to them less than 5 years ago. But here you here, the three of you with matching tattoos and you strutting around the estate like you were already a Catton.
He must have been staring in one direction for too long, as he heard Felix's voice calling out to him. "You alright there Ollie?" He asked, and Oliver found himself snapping out of whatever trance like state he had just been in.
“I’m f—I’m fine,” he said, trying to sound a little bit more confident than he currently felt in this moment.
When Felix spoke, not only did he turn to look at him, but you, Venetia, and Farleigh did as well. “Are you sure?” You asked, genuinely concerned about his well-being. Oh, how he despised how much you truly seemed to care.
"You've been staring off into space," Felix added. "What'ya staring at?" He asked, placing the lollipop he had been sucking on back into his mouth.
"Probably Y/N's ass," Farleigh teased, and you swatted his arm playfully; giggling briefly. Your laugh disgusted him because of how sickingly sweet it sounded.
"Farleigh, I'm sure he wasn't," you said defending him. You turned your attention to him, a soft smile on your lips. "Isn't that right Ollie?" You asked. He could barely see your face between the combination of the bright sun and your giant sunglasses that seemed to take up the entirety of your face, similarly to that of Venetia's sunglasses.
"Yeah, wasn't...staring," Ollie answered; his vocal tone sounding a tad nervous; and a little embarrassed. He wasn't looking at you, not in that way; you weren't the reason he was here, Felix was.
"I wouldn't blame ya Ollie," Felix began. "She does have a nice one," he finished, his voice almost sounding proud as he smacked your bare rear in front of the four of you.
You let out a tiny yelp; not the usual kind of moan you usually let out whenever he's heard you and Felix have sex. "Get a room you two," Venetia said, briefly glancing up from her book.
"We have a whole estate love," you winked; both you and Felix started laughing in response.
"Not when I'm still living here," she added.
"I second that," Farleigh said, chiming back into the conversation as he raised his hand in agreement with Venetia.
"Prudes," you mumbled underneath your breath, slightly teasing.
"Hey!" Venetia exclaimed. It was her turn to playfully swat you. "If anyone is the prude, it's little Ollie over there." She grinned. "Ollie, when was the last time you had sex?"
"V!" Both Felix and you exclaimed.
"What?" Venetia asked, her tone slightly clueless.
"You cannot just ask people that. It's a little rude," you stated.
"It's not rude. It's a perfectly fine question," she defended. "For example," she began, turning her attention to her brother. "Felix, when was the last time you had sex?" A smallish grin forming on her lips; as if she already knew the answer to her question.
"This morning," he responded all too quickly, and you swatted him on the chest, which caused him to smirk at you in response. Oliver knew all too well the truth in that statement, as he had a slight front row seat to yours and Felix's morning activities. He didn't see anything, but he heard everything as if he was in the room with the two of you. The moans the both of you let out, the dirty talk the both of you shared — performing in such a way as if the two of you were the only two in the entire estate. He wanted so much to see it, to open the bedroom door, he knew that the door would have creaked — pressing his ear against the bedroom door sufficed...for now anyway.
"Kinky," Farleigh smirked, and you rolled your eyes.
"All of you are ridiculous," you stated, closing your book as you started to slowly kick your feet in the air. "Don't answer her Ollie."
"It was before uni," he mumbled.
"What'ya say Ollie?" Felix asked, raising a brow.
"Before uni," Oliver said a bit louder this time.
Felix and Venetia exchanged looks before Felix looked at him with a slightly devilish looking grin. It was impossible not to love any kind of smile he would give. "For your party tomorrow, we'll get you laid. It'll be my birthday present to you."
"Kind of a lame birthday present, love," you teased.
Felix let out a small laugh. "You weren't complaining when that was a part of your birthday gift last year," he teased back. That's when he leaned in, kissing you in the most loving way possible; and Oliver actually felt like he was on the verge of throwing up looking at the two of you. He had witnessed the two of you kissing plenty of times, had witnessed snippets of you two being intimate in various ways, but for some reason, this particular interaction had almost set him off. Felix was so madly in love with you that it physically pained him to see it.
⭑——————————————————⭑
it was 02:34 am. you and chan lay in his bed, the dim purple light of his room illuminating his peaceful face. the room smelt of your boyfriends weed and black musk fragrance, two scents intertwined with one another in your mind. his raspy voice makes an appearance over the faint music playing…
“what do you love me for, y/n?”
his question pierced the silence between you, and you answer him with as much honesty as your physical state can offer.
“a lot chan, a lot. maybe your voice, your face, your personality, your dedication, your patience, your love. a lot”
he turns to face you, eyes red and heavier than ever, but oh prettier than ever. the corner of his lips slightly curve upwards for a slight second and he fidgets with his earring. you didn’t lie when you said those things to him. no matter what chan did, he was perfect to you.
“so… you’re telling me you don’t care about the scar on my back? my unhealthy addiction to weed? my anger issues you have to deal with? my unbelievably long work hours? my body changes?” he takes another smoke of his rolled joint, ironically, before continuing. “i mean, i don’t know. there’s a lot of shit you don’t have to deal with, ‘yknow?”
“i know chan, but people aren’t close-minded like that. of course i see more good in you than bad”
“but that’s the thing y/n, i don’t want you to see bad in me”
“baby” you stop to place a hand on his hair, raising his bangs up only for them to fall back down.
“i love you, flaws and all”
-
it’s almost like a spell was casted as he grabs you and places you above his body, connecting his lips with yours. they felt warm and plush as always. his kisses were hungry and full, taking you all in with every time you connected. his tounge dances with yours, the sounds of your make out session bounce across his walls. he kissed you until he couldn’t breathe anymore. disconnecting
from you with a string of saliva.
the way his eyes looked into yours spoke enough for you to understand how much he appreciated you. he grabs your neck from behind, lowering your head down to make your ear parallel to his lips.
“if you love me flaws and all, show me. yeah?” he whispers to make sure only you could hear him. he plants a kiss on your ear before letting you go, letting you be free, letting you do everything you desire to do, because you fucking loved him.
within a few swift moves, you both remained in your undergarments, making out again while you touch around his member, feeling it harden and rise.
“let me get on my knees”
he lets out a breathy chuckle as you get down to the cold floor on your knees, waiting for him to adjust by the edge of the bed. the music had stopped by now, but the drunk party goers outside filled the silence, and soon will your moans
your fingers wrap around the hem of his boxers, sliding down the fabric that was in a losing game with his cock. you couldn’t wait and so couldn’t he, so you begin to lick the precum forming from his swollen cock. his head darts back quickly, using you hair as a handle. your tongue glides down and up, until he’s fully coated with your saliva. your mouth then takes his cock in, struggling to fit it all. but chan begins to thrust his hips, forcing it down your throat. he whines and moans endlessly.
“mmh, baby. fuh-king shit.”
you pick up the pace, knowing that pulsating was signaling his release. your tongue glides over his member while your mouth reaches to the end of its length, gagging through the process. and at last, your mouth felt warm and heavy with his release. you swallowed it whole, licking any excess off of him.
“shit, shit, shit, fuuckk.” his jaw was fixated on being open as his head fell back, the veins on his neck making an appearance.
“baby you’re, mh, so good”
“i can be better”
you push him back up to the mattress, laying on top of him and letting him strip you bare. his fingers left hot trails where ever he touched you. and both your cores were empty and desperate. your hand makes way to his back, tracing his scar several times until chans eyes grew heavier, and hungrier.
“leave it baby, focus on me”
“it’s apart of you, channie. no one else can have such beautiful marks”
he licks his lips and smiles, his cheeks turn a soft pink, and you know you’ve brought him back to the chan you know.
he guides your waist closer to his member, raising your body above his cock and looking into your eyes for any hesitation, but they only showed love and desperation to have him inside you. he pushes your body down and you synchronize in grunts and moans. he stretches you out while passionately placing kisses on your chest. his hunger doesn’t hold back as he helps you ride his lower torso.
“y-you’re flaws make me love you even more. in my eyes, th-they are perfect imperfections-s”
he didn’t stop to react or to say anything, rather he took more control of you, making you slam into him faster, harder and more lovingly. you moaned into his ears and he did the same. chan would whimper from time to time, and it made you reach your climax even faster.
“come with m-me baby, ok?” he groans into your ear
“mmh, but i’m a-almost there”
“y-yeah, a-almost there”
his hands give in, and he leaves the rest to you. you’re legs begin to shake and your bodies prepare to release. you slam into him one last time, and your arousals commence together, your releases dripping out of your pussy. he lifts your body off and lays you down on the mattress, his head moving down to your swollen, pulsating pussy.
“let me taste us”
his tongue follows a straight, strict path from your vagina to your clit, taking pauses to swallow whatever gathers in his mouth. your eyes roll to the back of your head as he sucks and licks cluelessly. with no shame whatsoever, you come again and straight into chans mouth. his laugh vibrates in your pussy as you moan sweet nothings to him.
it’s back to how it was, except it was 03:11am, you and chan lay in his bed, naked. the dim red light of his room illuminating his flushed face. the room smelt of sex, your boyfriends weed and black musk fragrance, three scents intertwined with one another in your mind. his quite snores keep you up all night, but so does your tireless finger tracing every curve of his body.
“you’re art, chan”
fake love..
pairing: felix x reader
summary: what started as a perfect day crumbled between you and Felix.
a/n: my dear anon - thank you for this request! sorry these keep getting longer and longer. please enjoy ♡
Tumblr media
A warm breeze danced around Felix and you as he breathed out the last bit of what Chan had just told him, only to watch the smile on your face dim ever so slightly. Silently, he kicked himself for causing that light to fade, knowing that everything he had planned for today would just have to wait as he promised to pick back up where the day left off. A soft smile tugged at his lips as his fingers intertwined with yours and turning to head back to the company building. In truth, he knew he should have gotten a ride back, but he couldn’t stand the thought of the hectic day getting in the way of spending time with you. As long as he was with you, he would gladly accept the scolding that was not too far off in the future.
Street corners transformed into hallway corners as he quickly pulled you into the practice room. Felix quickly planted a kiss on your forehead before he pointed over to the almost tucked away couch in the corner of the studio. His eyes moved from one important person to seven others, warmth briefly filling his heart as Han waved to you in such a tiny way. That warmth immediately fled as the noted the way the usually animated group was instead focusing on the floor, not bothering to acknowledge you. He couldn’t understand why they would take their irritation at him being late out on you when this meeting was a last-minute call by JYP.
Carefully he made eye contact with Chan, who mouthed something that only left Felix slighting tilting his head to the side as he tried to understand what his leader was trying to say. His feet took him to Chan’s side about to ask what he was trying to say when JYP entered the room already explain the new scheduled event that was to take place in a week. Felix tried, he really did try to focus on what was being said, but he couldn’t help his eyes drifting over to your curled form on the couch that he had spent so much time on over the years. It was the place he had first heard your name, the memory bringing a faint smile to his lips which caused Chan to bump him, forcing his attention back to the conversation to hear a new song and two new dances would need to be created in a short time frame.
Murmurs erupted from the group worried about this new schedule and Felix again found his eyes wandering to you trying to figure out what you were thinking by the neutral expression that covered your face. Past conversations filled his head as remembered how you worried over him when his days got too packed, and he forgot to take care of himself. He made a mental note to ask Chan if he could sneak away for the night to crash at your place, half to make sure for this day and half to rest before working hard. The noise quieted down as JYP concluded his statement before turn to walk out. The overall lack of warmth from his boss made him nervous that he’d see you and hope filled his chest that he would continue walking out, but that hope instantly vanished as he watched JYP come to a dead stop, head turned towards you.
The tone in JYP’s voice raised the hair on Felix’s arm, his focus snapping to you. Without thinking, Felix went to take a step forward only to have Changbin lightly pull him in whispering don’t say anything right now, devoid of any further explanation. However, the movement caught JYP’s attention as he turned from you to face Felix. Tensioned silence filled the space as Changbin’s finger tightened ever so slightly on his arm.
The hold only increased as JYP finally snapped out, Felix, I’ve told you this before, dating her was only a publicity stunt and not to get attached. We knew you dating a non-idol would get people’s attention. Felix watched as JYP’s eyes shifted to Chan, I told you to tell him to end things today so he can focus on preparing for this important event. I won’t voice this again, he finished turning to immediately leave the room, driving the room to utter silence.
In that silence, Felix felt his heart break into a million pieces, felt the world crush in around him, vision blurring trying to focus on you. His lips quivered as he took a slow step towards you, watching the tears fall from your glistening eyes, head shaking what could only be disbelief. From the corner of his eyes, he noted that all the members attention was focus on the ground, and it finally clicked that the reason they didn’t greet you was they knew what was said to Chan. It forced him to trip over his words, wait, please don’t go, I can explain everything, he finally chocked out.
Felix could only stare as you barely managed to not trip over the stuff on the floor rushing for the door not looking back at him or anyone. As quickly as you left the room, he watched Han dash out after you, which slightly eased his heart knowing that the two of you had developed a true friendship on shared experiences. A shaky inhale shook through Felix’s frame as his thoughts tried to understand how such a perfect day could have crumbed so quickly.
Within seconds, Minho pulled Felix into him, rubbing his hand up and down his back trying to prevent the full breakdown that he could feel building within him. His mind was rushing a million miles a minute trying to wrap his head around what just happened and how he could possibly ever fix this situation with the packed days ahead of him. An hour or two passed while he was lost in his own thoughts only snapping out of them when Han reappeared in the studio. The second the door clicked shut, music blared through the room as Chan explained something, sending the room into the chaos that work tended to cause. Felix tried to allow the distracts of work to take over in his head, but his thoughts constantly went back to the image of your heart broken face staring at him before leaving the room.
A day passed, then another, before Felix knew it the event day was upon him. His heart was still in so many pieces, his eyes hurt from crying into Minho’s shoulder every night, his focus was shaky at best forgetting the littlest of details in the choreography. Seungmin cuddled into him rubbing circles on his knee whispering words of encouragement to get through the event and then he could fully breakdown if he needed to. In all the madness of their schedule, Felix tried calling you at odd hours of the day only to be met with silence, giving him more and more time to figure out exactly how he wanted to explain it all to you.
Hours later, some mistakes and several tears, Felix was almost back to the dorm with thoughts zipping in every direction not focusing on one item for more than a few seconds. He almost missed the sound of Han’s voice saying your name from the hallway when the door to the dorm was opened. Instantly, all thoughts abandoned his head eyes focusing on your half-hidden body. His vision blurred while muscle memory led his body to stand in front of you. Rubbing the water from his eyes, he focused the entirety of his attention on you, took in the small bag under your eyes, the way your hair didn’t shine as brightly as it did before, the way that your hand slightly shook before picking at the already chipped polish on your nails.
Quietly, he motioned for you to step into his room, giving Han a quick hug in the process before entering himself. His heart couldn’t handle that just a few weeks ago, you would have made yourself at home in the small room, but now, you stood awkwardly, half leaning against the desk. Taking a deep inhale and very long exhale, he dove into the story from the beginning, telling you that, yes, it had started out as somewhat of a publicity stunt, but he instantly developed true feelings for you. Breaking down fully, he explained that the boys knew everything from the beginning and promised to never say anything to you because they knew how he truly felt. Felix also confessed that he never wanted this truth to come out in this way and that he should have told you from the very start. A blanket of silence filled the room when he finished explaining, tears falling from his eyes.
A soft sniffle broke the silence as he heard your voice for the first time since that afternoon when everything blew up in his face. How can I ever know what was real love and what was fake love Felix?, you questioned him with hurt filling your eyes. Felix took a moment to come to terms with what you had thrown out into the growing canyon between the two of you. It wasn’t the way he wanted to tell you this, but he knew it was the only way to have a change at winning you back.
Taking a small step towards you he started, I fell in love with you because you weren’t an idol. I fell in love with you because I felt like I could be myself around you, he continued taking closing the gap between you both, I fell in love with you because you made me feel like I was home, like being in Australia home. I’m so in love with you that you are all I think about. Felix confessed as he tentatively wrapped his arms around you, over the moon when you wrapped your hesitantly around him. I fell in love with you because you were you and I’m so sorry I never told you everything sooner. I hope we can find a way to work through this because I really don’t want to lose you in my life. I love you; he finished eyes staring down at you.
Hope pulled at his heart as you rested your head on his chest, mumbling, let’s keep talking and see where we end up, as your arms tightened around him. He knew it wasn’t going to be an easy task to win you back, but he knew that he would love you no matter where the conversation led, and he would continue to try to win you back with the help of the members.
It was the fourth Tuesday in a row that you ate alone in your apartment. The fourth time Gavi had skipped out on your plans last minute, sending a quick half-hearted text about one event or the other.
The first time it was because Coach had asked Gavi to stay after practice, keen on teaching him the perfect one-touch shot. Then it was a missed dinner because Jordi Alba had invited him out with some other players, and he just couldn’t say no, because he was finally starting to feel like a part of the family - like the older players had finally started to respect him.
Of course you hadn’t minded the first few times, he had been apologetic enough, promising you that he would be there next time, but each next time took on the next week, and soon the prospect of next time didn’t hold as much meaning anymore. You were accustomed to reading those words by now, and you rarely took time to read over the dwindling text messages anymore, eyes only scanning for those two words, the ones that had become a staple in your relationship.
Next time.
Next time you would cook dinner for him and he would be there to eat it. Next time he would tell you he loved you in person, rather than getting an impassive ‘sorry cariño’. The thought of next time, which once seemed like a lifeline to you, had become a dull reminder of the boy who was just on the other side of the city, only a measly train ride separating you both. Yet the distance seemed much greater.
But now the football season was drawing to a close, and instead of being excited at the notion of having more time to spend together, you felt uneasy and on edge, almost as if you were waiting for the other shoe to drop, something to come up, making the distance between the two of you that much more tangible.
You felt your phone buzz next to you and your eyes unintentionally went to the clock.
9:45 pm.
The texts were getting later and later each time.
You already knew what awaited you, but you couldn’t help but scan the message regardless.
“Can’t come tonight, only have a few days till the season ends and the guys wanna make the most of it. Be there next time. Noche.”
There it was again, that unexplainable feeling in your chest, like your heart was always one step ahead of your brain, preparing for the loss of something that hadn’t yet left. Your mind was an incomprehensible mess, a jumble of contrasting thoughts and memories, forcing you to overthink situations and undervalue your emotions.
You lifted your head watching your roommate land with a thump on the couch beside you, “He canceled again, didn’t he?”
You opened your mouth, an excuse on the tip of your tongue.
She held up her hand, “Don’t try to defend him. He knows it isn’t fair.”
You avoided her gaze, “You don’t get it. He’s really in demand and-”
“It doesn’t matter that he’s famous or a professional athlete, that doesn’t discredit his actions, or put the blame on anyone but him.”
She continued, “Look Gavi’s a good guy, I like him,” you stared at her, “I do! But he’s stupid if he doesn’t realize that he’s losing you. I know you, and while you might make excuses for him now, I know that sooner or later you’re going to notice that he hasn’t been treating you like you deserve, and you’ll be smart enough to leave.”
You felt the impact of her words full force, like a sledgehammer beating into your body. All the signs were there, right in front of your face, and you had been turning a blind eye, not wanting to admit what your heart already knew.
You knew it. The distance you had felt hadn’t been in vain – every day you could feel the connection between the two of you chip away, so small, you wouldn’t think to notice it till you stood back and looked at the bigger picture.
As a result of both your busy schedules, you both had come up with the idea of having Tuesday night, the most boring day of the week as agreed on, reserved for just the two of you. On Tuesday you didn’t have classes that ran well past dinner time or have to pick up late-night shifts at the restaurant, and he didn’t have evening practice. It was perfect. Tuesday was yours.
Except it had been four weeks since you’d had a proper conversation with Gavi, and you couldn’t help but see the difference in your relationship when you first got together, both eager and determined to spend as much time together as possible, to now, where even if you attended his games, you two still managed to get away without speaking.
You shook your head, “I-I need to take a walk.”
She reached over placing a hand on your shoulder, “Y/n. I’m sorry-”
You shook it off, standing up, “No it’s ok, it’s not your fault. I just need to clear my head.”
You felt the cool night breeze hit you as you walked the streets of Barcelona. It was unusually quiet in this part of town, the lights from the main strip didn’t reach this far out, and for a moment the quiet reminded you of your hometown.
If you closed your eyes, it was almost like you were fifteen again, back in your childhood bedroom, before the ideas of pretty boys with big brown eyes and the weight of managing both university and a job plagued all your thoughts.
You reached a lookout point, the top of the hill dropping to show you the expansive city below. You stared out, the buildings looked so small up here, barely more than a glowing dot in the dark, the cars a blur of soft yellow. You wondered which tiny dot Gavi was in. You wondered if he had checked his phone, seeing that you hadn’t texted him back like you usually did. You wondered if he even cared.
You shook your head trying to get rid of the unwanted thoughts.
Your relationship with Gavi was good. He made you laugh like nobody else, whispering secrets in each other’s ears like schoolchildren, making forts out of old sheets in his childhood bedroom when you met his family for the first time. You remembered his sweet smile, the way his eyes would crinkle unintentionally when he couldn’t hold back his excitement or happiness. You remembered confiding in him about school, how you were so stressed because you couldn’t manage eighteen credits while simultaneously holding a job that required you to be on your feet for hours at a time. You could still feel the soft caress of his hand, as he squeezed yours, providing you comfort, cracking a badly executed joke here and there just to get you to smile while listing a hundred reasons why if anyone could do it, it would be you.
So, if he made you feel all those things, why did his absence make you feel so tiny, so insignificant?
Your finger hovered over the call button, and you hit it hesitantly.
You just wanted to hear his voice.
That would be enough.
It rang seven times before the line went dead.
It took you a moment to realize you hadn’t put your phone up to your ear, waiting with bated breath for the timer on the screen to start, indicating he had picked up, but it never did.
You stuffed your phone back into your pocket, the same unsteady feeling in your heart strumming.
Once.
Twice.
Then it was gone.
You came home to a quiet apartment and your roommate already asleep.
You shuffled into your room silently, you would give it one more week you decided. Next time would be the last.
The next week came, and while it was the first week Gavi had off from training, he had already planned to go to Ibiza to attend a music festival with his hometown friends. He had invited you, but it was more of an afterthought, and you couldn’t find it in yourself to go because of rushed ‘you can come if you want’ and a barely there apology so you left it.
You got an ‘I’ll miss you’ text from him and for a moment it made you smile, filling you with warmth. However, an ‘I miss you’ only did so much, and other than his sweet messages, there was really no intent behind his words.
Now it had been two days since Gavi had gotten back from his Ibiza trip, and you couldn’t hide the surprise on your face when you glanced over and saw a Facetime call from Gavi.
When was the last time the two of you had Facetimed? Maybe two months ago? It was much easier to send a text, the times both of you were free were few and far between.
You answered the call, pushing your textbook to the side. The dark grey interior of Gavi’s car greeted you.
“Hello?” You asked.
“Hey, Y/n long time no talk.” Gavi joked, but you felt your stomach flip at the truth behind his words.
“I can’t see you.” You said.
“Oh shit, did I accidentally Facetime? My bad I told Siri to call and she must have Facetimed instead. Let me call you.”
You went to speak but heard the three beeps indicating the call had been cut.
You heard the phone ring again and bit back a sigh. You just wanted to see his face.
You answered on the second ring.
“Hey sorry about that. I wanted to call and tell you that I’m back from Ibiza.”
“Yeah, I know.” You admitted, “I remembered.”
There was a beat of silence.
“Well, anyways I wanted to ask you to come with me to the Spanish football gala tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow?”
You heard some shuffling and suddenly Gavi’s voice was much clearer and closer to the phone. You assumed he took it off speaker.
“Can you not come?”
You hesitated, “Uhm I’m not sure. It’s so last minute and I’m already scheduled at the restaurant tomorrow.”
“Can’t you just take off?” He persisted.
You felt your brow furrow, “I’m already on the schedule, I can’t just decide to take off the day before, I need to find someone to replace me.”
“Ok, tell whoever that I’ll sign a jersey for them if they do.”
You suddenly felt angry. Why did he think that you could only get a day off work if he helped you out? Were you not capable of handling your own situations? You hated feeling like this, like you weren’t even your own person, just a shadow of who you were with.
“No that’s fine. I’ll just take off like you said, simple.” You couldn’t help but let the bitterness seep into your voice.
He went to say something, probably sensing the shift in your mood, but you cut him off, “I have to go. Bye Gavi.”
You hung up before he could respond.
Finding someone to replace your shift was easier said than done, but after some back and forth, and a promise to Marcus to cover his next two shifts, you were free.
Free to prance around in a hall filled with people you barely knew, with a boy who you thought about more in your memories than you saw in real life.
The night of the gala arrived, and you were decked out, wearing the earrings Gavi had gifted you for your one-year anniversary paired with a necklace you had received after graduating high school.
Gavi had originally said he would pick you up but had sent a quick text earlier in the morning explaining that the team was getting ready together at a hotel, and to just meet him at the venue.
Your roommate had agreed to drive you and you gave her a grateful smile as you got in the car.
“Ana thank you for taking me.”
She brushed the comment off playfully, “No problem. Gotta step up when Gavi steps down.”
You let out a short laugh, “My hero.”
You got to the venue a couple of minutes before you had planned to meet Gavi and nervously walked around, staying out of the path of cameras.
You found someone to take you to a tent where some Barca staff were waiting for the players to start the program.
You walked in, a surprised look taking over your face once you noticed Pedri and a few other players in the corner.
You weren’t aware that some of the players from the hotel had arrived yet.
Pedri noticed your entrance and came over to say hello.
You gave him a quick hug, making casual small talk.
Just ask him, a voice in the back of your head urged.
Finally, you bit the bullet, attempting to sound as casual as possible, “How did you guys get here so early? I thought everyone was leaving the hotel at 6.”
“Ehh, it wasn’t that important, so I skipped it. Half the guys didn’t go anyway, and the other half just went to play FIFA. Besides I beat them every time, so it gets a little boring after a while.”
You tried to laugh at his joke, but could only manage a watery smile, mind running a mile a minute.
So Gavi hadn’t actually needed to go but chose to.
Leaving you alone.
Again.
It wasn’t a big deal by itself. But it was the fact that this was just another item you could add to your ever-growing list of things Gavi cared about more than you. You wondered briefly if you had been wrong, and if he had missed some other event to be there with you, only to remind yourself that you hadn’t seen him in a month, so no, he hadn’t.
You were still grappling with your emotions when Gavi arrived, unsure whether to confront him or just let this be another thing you swept under the rug.
Your reunion, if you could even call it that, was lackluster at best. He had walked in with some of his teammates, immediately going to greet the rest of his team, completely ignoring you standing on the right side of the room with Pedri.
It was only once he asked where Pedri was that someone pointed the two of you out.
You felt your body deflate; he hadn’t even asked for you.
Were you overthinking things again? Maybe he had just forgotten in the excitement of seeing his whole team for the first time after the season ended?
Gavi made his way over to the two of you, reaching out to Pedri first. You watched as they exchanged a hug before Gavi’s eyes floated over to yours.
“Hey.” His voice was casual, like he was greeting a mailman, or thanking the cashier.
“Hi.”
You closed the space, attempting to hug him, but he grabbed your shoulders stopping you, looking down.
You followed his gaze.
“I don’t want to wrinkle the dress.”
You felt your heart thud against your chest, and while you knew he only had good intentions, the rejection still stung.
You stepped out of his embrace, watching his hands drop to his sides, “Okay.”
The carpet went by in a blur, you posed with Gavi for a few photos before moving to the side and letting him enjoy the spotlight, he had worked hard for it. You took a couple of photos with some of the other teammate's girlfriends and wives before you headed inside.
Once inside, there was still some time left before the actual dinner portion of the gala started. The gala was held for all Spanish football clubs as a celebration of their hard work during the season. It was also a great event to network, giving players the ability to talk with different coaches and directors they otherwise might not have gotten the chance to, allowing for discussions of thinly veiled preseason transfers to commence without the fear of unwanted ears listening in.
You found Gavi in the crowd quickly, linking your arm with his. He looked over at you, a smile taking over his features once he noticed you.
“Glad you found me.”
You noticed with great relief that his eyes still crinkled in the corners when he looked at you,
“I always do.”
The next however many minutes spent till dinner service started comprised of Gavi talking with various different players and directors as you stood like a shiny accessory off his arm, too insignificant to be acknowledged in conversation.
The call for dinner provided you solace from the repetitive conversations and mundane questions. You took a seat next to Gavi and were confused to find both Joao Felix and Antoine Griezmann seated at your table.
You leaned into Gavi, “I thought the clubs sat together?”
“Me too. I think they’re doing alphabetical tonight though.” He whispered.
“Which one’s your least favorite?” You looked up shocked at Gavi’s question, watching a boyish grin take over his features as he tried to hide his laugh, interlacing your fingers on your lap.
You shoved into him lightly, “They’re sitting right there!”
He leaned in closer, nose softly grazing your ear as he spoke, “Yeah but between me and you, I think Joao could have had a better season in Chelsea.”
You shook your head in disbelief, fighting back the smile that was threatening to spill out. Your eyes caught his and for a second it seemed like you had been transported back in time, back to when these types of moments were the standard not the exception, back when it felt like you were on each other sides, back when laughter was the antidote instead of tense silences filled with awkward hello’s.
His eyebrow lifted ask if to ask if you agreed with him, and a small murmur of agreement from you was all he needed before he opened his mouth, ready to hammer his point home, but his attention switched last second.
It was like you could visibly see the shift in his demeanor. First, it was his eyes glancing past yours, seeing the midfielder approaching. Then it was the subtle grip on your hand loosening, his fingers slipping through the gaps. Next, it was the complete shift in body, his posture straightening as he leaned his body away from yours, position shifting to face Pedri who had sat in the spot next to him.
To his credit, Pedri acknowledged the both of you but it was clear Gavi paid no mind to you, not evening sparing you a glance as he became immersed in a conversation with Pedri.
You tried to pretend it didn’t affect you and while you could lie to everyone else, you couldn’t lie to yourself. You had built up this evening up so much in your head, telling yourself that tonight would be the shifting point in your relationship and that everything would go back to the way it once was, but it was shaping up to be another Tuesday you had become all too familiar with.
Why did it feel like you were always competing for his attention?
Your mind was reeling, all the small actions Gavi did that you kept pushing aside, were floating back to the surface, each little remark or dismissal a little tug on your heartstrings till you were sure that if you stayed at the table a for a moment longer you wouldn’t be able to stop the onslaught of tears quickly approaching.
You stood from the table abruptly, catching a few people’s attention, but you gave them a polite smile, or at least you hoped it had been polite, you couldn’t focus on anything but the stinging in your eyes and the sinking feeling in your stomach.
You swiftly walked towards the restroom, glancing over your shoulder to see if anyone had noticed but your eyes fell on Gavi’s form. He hadn’t even bothered turning around.
Of course, he hadn’t.
Somehow that hurt more than anything else.
You were immensely grateful for the single-use restroom as you locked yourself in, shaky hands coming to steady yourself on the sink.
Don’t cry. Don’t cry.
You were internally screaming at yourself, begging yourself to keep yourself together but the feeling was too overwhelming and before you could stop you felt the first tears slip down. Your shoulders shook as you forced yourself to be silent, embarrassed about someone walking by and overhearing you pitying yourself.
One hand covered your mouth as you muffled your sobs, while the other dug into the stupid marble sink until the skin was pink and indented. The pain acted as a distraction from the unbearable pressure in your chest, and you instinctively pushed your hand harder into the sink.
Your fingers felt numb as you slowly removed them, closing your eyes to steady yourself. It was obvious that you weren’t in the best mental state, but you couldn’t exactly sit in the bathroom for the next hour to sort it out. You had to clean yourself up and go back to pretending.
Yes, pretending, you realized, was exactly what you had been doing. This whole night you had been pretending, pretending everything was okay, pretending that your relationship was fine when in truth you couldn’t even remember what Gavi’s laugh sounded like.
When had it become all pretend?
Was there anything left here? Were your best years behind you both?
These unanswered questions haunted you as you calmed yourself down, wrapping around you like a blanket, one that provided you no comfort but rather a feeling of suffocation.
Finally, your eyes had dried, and the redness had faded significantly. You had gotten your breathing under control, and you felt a little lighter having stopped denying what had been plaguing your mind for weeks now.
You took one final glance in the mirror, smoothing out your dress as you exited the restroom.
You walked slowly back to the table. You had decided that if you could just get through tonight, go home, and cry and think some more, then by tomorrow morning you would be able to talk to Gavi and decide what to do.
But that plan had flown out the window when you arrived back at the table to a confused Gavi.
It seemed he had finally noticed your absence.
“Where did you go? They served dinner 15 minutes ago.”
“I had to use the restroom.”
“For 15 minutes?”
“There was a queue.” You lied.
He seemed to accept your answer and you chose to focus on your food rather than him.
You were halfway through your meal when you noticed Gavi giving you a double take from the corner of your eye.
“Your eyes are red.” He spoke in a hushed voice.
“I don’t know why.”
“Are you sure?” His attention was beginning to slip again, eyes darting back between you and Pedri.
“Yes, I’m fine.” You heard your voice waver on the last syllable, a tick you had when you were lying, and Gavi immediately picked up on it, facing you fully.
“What’s wrong?”
You shook your head not wanting to get into everything here.
“I’m ok.”
“You’re not.”
“Gavi.” You warned.
“What happened? Did someone say something?”
“No. Just drop it please.” Your voice had gone soft, tired of defending yourself.
“Y/n just tell me, I’ll help.” He urged.
You stayed quiet.
“What’s wrong?” He asked again, adamant to get an answer.
You felt yourself grow annoyed, why couldn’t he just let it go? Why was he suddenly interested in how you felt? You were just trying to protect what little left the two of you had and he seemed intent on destroying it.
“It’s you.”
He looked taken aback, eyes pooling with hurt and confusion, his body slightly deflating, “W-what?”
The moment was interrupted when the announcer took over the stage, beginning the presentation for the night, highlighting a few key players and matches.
You looked away first, turning to face the stage, clapping along, acting as though you couldn’t feel Gavi’s gaze burning into your back as he desperately tried to get your attention.
Once the presentation was over you were quick to excuse yourself, using the pretense of going to get a drink as a getaway.
You held your breath as you walked, praying Gavi wouldn’t follow you, and while he got up immediately once he noticed, he was quickly interrupted by another player coming to congratulate him, allowing you to slip away while he watched helplessly.
You let out a huff, leaning against the bar trying to slow your heartbeat.
“Long day?”
You looked over to see Joao standing next to you, watching as the bartender poured his drink.
“Something like that.”
He nodded, “Me too. Been a long couple of days actually.”
You smiled, “Actually, it’s been a long couple of weeks.”
He turned his head to look at you, “I take it back. It’s actually been a long couple of months.”
You raised your hand in mock surrender, “Ok I can’t beat that.”
He grinned, “Yeah not many people can.”
Your expression matched his own, and you gave your order to the bartender before turning to face him again, “So how’s the season been?”
“Shit. Honestly, I’m not even sure why I’m here I played for Chelsea this season not Athletico.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at his abruptness.
“Yeah, I saw your first game. A red card first match is pretty brutal.”
His grin only widened, “Oh keeping tabs are we?”
You gave him a playful glare, “Of course gotta know how Barca’s competition is doing.”
“Oh, so you’re a Barca girl?”
“Since the day I was born.” You revealed proudly.
And it was true, even before you had met Gavi, you had loved Barcelona. Growing up in a family of football lovers, your family had declared FC Barcelona as their home club, and you had witnessed so many legends play for Barcelona and so many underdogs find their true passion at the club.
“Can I tell you a secret?” he asked, and you gave him a nod of encouragement, pretending to zip your lips shut making him smile, “Ok well it’s always been my dream to play for Barcelona. Messi was always an idol to me.” He confessed.
Your mouth dropped open in shock before you abruptly shut it, your eyes almost widening comically as you spoke excitedly, “What oh my gosh. I’m in shock. Messi? But you play with Ronaldo!” You gasped.
He laughed at your facial expression, as he whispered, “I know! That’s why it’s a secret.”
You nodded along with his words, sending him a duh expression, “Of course, I won’t say anything I promise.”
“Promise what?”
Gavi had appeared by your side, a firm hand set on your waist, as he gently tugged you back into his body.
You peeked up at Gavi to see he was already looking down at you, jaw set. You gulped.
“Nothing much, just talking about the season.” You replied.
You saw Gavi’s eyes flicker between the two of you before he brought you closer, “Can we please talk?”
You bit your lip unsure but nodded.
He slipped his hand into yours as he led you to a quieter area. You waved goodbye to Joao as Gavi pulled you through the crowd, and he held his drink up in response.
He was a nice guy. You hoped next season would be better for him than the last.
He guided you to a standing table and propped your hands on the table as he played with the ring on your index finger.
“This a really pretty ring, is it new?” He asked eyes focused on your fingers.
“No, I got it last month.”
“I haven’t seen you wear it.”
“I’ve worn it every day since I got it.”
“Oh.”
You gently removed your hand from his, knowing that talking circles about something so small was going to get you nowhere.
“What do you want Gavi?” You asked quietly.
His voice came out gravelly, “I want to know how I let it get to the point where you feel more comfortable calling me Gavi rather than Pablo.”
His words when straight to your heart, and you could feel his pain almost as much as you could feel your own.
“I-I don’t know.”
You heard his breath falter, “I miss you calling me Pablo. Hell – I even miss you calling me Pablito. I’d take anything over whatever this is.” He gestured pointing between the two of you.
“Ok then let’s talk about it. Let’s talk about where it went wrong.”
His eyes lifted at your words, “Why are you speaking in the past tense?”
You remained silent.
“Amor please, why are you speaking in past tense?” You could hear the panic building in his voice.
“I think we don’t spend enough time together.”
“Ok we can fix that. No problem.” He agreed, desperate to save what was slowly unraveling.
“But do you want to? Fix it I mean?”
“Of course, I do. Please just tell me what to do and I’ll do it.” His voice was almost near begging, and you knew without a doubt that you were in a similar state.
You couldn’t believe that this was happening here, in front of all these people, but it wasn’t fair to either of you to hold it any longer. You had to have this conversation sooner or later and it seemed like tonight was the time for it.
“Sometimes I feel like you don’t have time for me.” You finally admitted what you had been feeling for the last month.
He shook his head rapidly, “I do! But I mean we both have such busy schedules, you have even less time than I do with school.” he argued, “You also have work so that cuts down on the time we have too, but I’m not complaining.”
You were trembling with anger as you spoke, but you kept your voice low, “Yes, because I have to work a job to be able to afford college. I hate the hours probably more than you do, but I do it because I have to. I don’t have an option. I want to go to school? I have to fund it. But you? You didn’t have to go out with the guys after practice or stay around Ansu’s to play FIFA, but you did. That was a choice you made.”
He opened his mouth to retaliate but you weren’t done, “And I’m not even mad about that. I’m mad that for the last month, you’ve put me below every other person in your life, treated me like I’m dispensable, someone who you only consider when you need something. I feel cheap. Like something you only want when it’s convenient to you.”
“That’s not true. You’re my girlfriend!” His voice shook as he spoke, and you realized he was probably just as scared as you were.
“Then why do I feel like I’m not?” Your voice came out soft, barely above a whisper, but it felt like delivering the final blow to an already sinking battleship.
You felt his eyes on you, eyes glazing over as hundreds of unushered words filled the space between you, but the moment was cut short, and you had to remind yourself that you were in public as Xavi approached the two of you.
You gave Xavi a quick hug before he congratulated Gavi on a great season.
Gavi only nodded, murmuring short responses, eyes glancing at you every few seconds like he was scared you would disappear from his life if he wasn’t watching.
He left after a moment, and then the two of you were alone again.
“I’m sorry Y/n, I had no idea that’s why you were working. I would’ve given you the money if you just said something-“
“I don’t want your money Gavi! It’s yours, not mine.” You said exasperated.
“C’mon Y/n you know I have enough to provide for the both of us. You don’t have to work-“
“I don’t want that! In fact, right now I don’t even want to be in this relationship!”
The boy physically shrunk back at your words, your admission sending him into silence as he processed your words.
Finally, he spoke, head shaking in denial, not wanting to admit what was right in front of him, “I-I don’t understand.”
You wanted to yell at him to notice all the signs you’d been sending him, beg him to understand the things you couldn’t say but had always been lurking in the shadows, easy enough to make out if you just paid attention. You wanted to scream that it wasn’t fair, it wasn’t fair that Gavi got to pursue his passion while you were being told to give up yours. Your head was filled with millions of things you wanted to say to him, thousands of little moments you wanted to share with him, you wanted to confide in him about how scared you were, how you had never felt like this in your life, how the thought of him slowly falling out of love with you was ripping your insides apart, making you sick to your stomach. There were so many things but not one left your mouth.
“I know you don’t.” Your voice sounded tired, even to your own ears, and you wondered if this was it. If this is where the two of you parted ways.
“I-I’m just going to go home.”
“I’ll grab our coats.”
You placed your hand gently on his, giving him a sad smile, “It’s ok. I think I’ll go alone.”
Neither of you could deny what it meant.
He ducked his head so you couldn’t see his red eyes. There was a moment of silence, and you could tell he was fighting with himself, trying to figure out what to do to stop the inevitable, until he slowly nodded,
“Ok.”
He had just sealed your relationship closed, something you were grateful for because you knew you couldn’t have done it yourself.
He didn’t lift his head as you walked away, and you didn’t blame him.
You grabbed your coat quickly, bidding goodbye to a few people as you made your way out of the hall.
As you walked down the hallway towards the main doors you realized you didn’t have a ride back. Your roommate had dropped you off and you assumed Gavi would drop you back. Well, that wasn’t happening now. Train it was. One glance out the window told you it was raining, downpouring to be exact.
How fitting. At least the weather matched your mood.
You stepped outside, immediately becoming drenched, but somehow you found comfort in it, at least this way no one could see you cry.
You were about halfway down the steps when you heard the door slam open, yelling coming from behind you.
You spun around, surprised to see Gavi stepping into the rain, “Please stay. Please.”
You stood frozen, unsure of what to say.
You were sure he wouldn’t follow you. But he had.
He kept taking steps closer to you, closing the distance, till you were only two steps apart, “Stay.”
His eyes searched your own, looking for something, maybe a sign that there was hope, something you weren’t sure you could provide.
“Just let me go. We can talk about this tomorrow.”
He shook his head, breath unsteady, “No I can’t. I can’t. I feel like if I let you go now, I’ll never see you again.”
You bit your cheek looking away, he was right. After tonight you had no intention of talking to him again.
His shoulders drooped at your silence, and he sat down on the steps of the building, harsh rain pounding down on him, matting his hair and drenching his extremely expensive suit, but he didn’t seem to care, “I hate fighting with you.”
You glanced down at his figure, watching him sit in the rain with his head in his hands, utterly defenseless.
“But I hate even more that it’s my fault, and that I couldn’t see what I was doing until I felt what you did, just for a second, and it hurt like hell.”
“I should have been there for you. I should have made time for you. I knew what I was doing wasn’t right but then I kept thinking it’s fine I’ll make it up to her next time, but next time never happened because I never showed up. I guess I was just so focused on making sure my teammates all liked me, and they had just stopped treating me like a kid, finally inviting me places - and I’m not using that as an excuse because I know it’s a shit one, it’s on me. Nobody forced me to do anything, I just wanted to feel included, and I put everyone else’s feelings above yours when yours was the one that was the most important to me.”
He finally lifted his head, and he was close enough that you could see the tears streaming down his face as he looked intently at you, almost like he was trying to memorize you, “If you want to walk away you can, you should - I’ll understand. I just wanted to apologize, really apologize, and own up to everything I did. I love you, and I promise you I won’t take anyone for granted the way I did with you.”
Your expression mirrored his own, and the tears were falling freely at his confession now that it was just the two of you. All the things you had wanted him to realize he had. All the things you wished he had said, he finally did.
But was it too late?
“Thank you, Pablo.”
He let out a short laugh through his tears, “No, thank you.”
You gave him a soft smile before you put distance between the two of you, letting the rain mask the sound of you leaving.
The lights from the venue grew dimmer as you continued walking, and you spared one last glance over your shoulder before it disappeared from view, seeing Gavi’s tiny figure rooted in place, watching you leave.
Your steps faltered.
How could you leave this relationship, this boy, when every single warning sign was going off in your brain, telling you to turn around and fight, to not give up? He had understood, he had understood exactly what you had felt, and had owned up to his mistakes, what else could he have done? He couldn’t go back and make it better, but he could change the way he treated you, but how would you acknowledge the change if you didn’t stick around?
It didn’t feel right walking away.
You thought you would feel content, feel like the pressure was lifting from your shoulders, but the dropping feeling in your stomach was multiplying, and your heart was constricting painfully at the thought of never seeing him, never laughing with him, never kissing him again, at the idea of falling in love with someone that wasn’t him.
You never ran faster in your life.
Let him be there. Please let him be there.
You didn’t know how you could explain yourself if you had to walk back into the event sopping wet, eyes puffy, and nose runny.
You couldn’t stop the wide smile that stretched across your face as he realized he was right where you left him.
You sat next to him and he didn’t notice until you spoke.
“Pablo.”
His head shot upon hearing your voice, and his face lifted for a second before falling again, “Di-Did you forget something?”
You nodded.
“Ok I can get it for you, what is it?” He cleared his throat, trying to make his voice clear.
You shifted closer to him, bodies pressed against each other, “I forgot that I love you. I love you and I want to work this out. I’m happy that you took responsibility and I believe you. I believe that you won’t do it again. But I should apologize too – I also wasn’t fair to you, and I did things that I shouldn’t have just to get back at you for making me feel so small.”
“I’m sorr-”
You cut him off, “Let’s stop apologizing.”
He nodded, eyes looking at you with nothing but love and admiration,
“Ok but we’ll have to work on our communication.” He said, and you hummed in agreement.
You touched your forehead with his, staring at each other with baited breaths until he finally closed the distance and kissed you. After a month of not seeing each other, you were finally kissing, pouring all your emotions, all your love, all your pain into the kiss, making a promise to be there for each other, and it felt like coming home.
Good Boy Gone Bad | Lee Felix SMAU
chapter seven
word count: 790
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Wow,”
taking in the view, you never realised how beautiful seoul looked until now. the bright lights of the buildings and cars perfectly illuminate the dark sky and the park you were currently in. the peacefulness of the area makes you feel at ease, like you had no problems at all.
next to you was felix, who was gazing at you the whole time while you were busy admiring the scenery. the more he looks at you, the clearer his feelings for you get, and it’s starting to scare him. he knows he shouldn’t feel this way, but he can’t help it when you just look so beautiful under the night sky. when you finally look back at him, the whole world stops and his only focus is you and you alone.
“this is beautiful, felix. i never thought to visit the park this late at night, but after this i might have to come by more often.” you remark, and felix breaks eye contact with you to finally look at the view he has been used to seeing. it seems that after your comment though, the scenery starts to bring sparks to him again, and he begins to realise how down bad he really is for you.
“mhm, i go here late at night whenever i have a rough time at home, you probably heard about my parents already so i’ll just spare you the details.” felix shrugs and you nod, thinking back to what somi had mentioned weeks ago about his parents. he must’ve been really pressured to not only be good at everything, but also be an angel to everyone, and you start to feel bad about the whole blackmailing situation.
“is that why you started smoking?”
“part of it, yes, but i also enjoy the feeling. i don’t smoke anymore if you're wondering, the last time was when you caught me.” at the mention of that, you lower your head and cover your face in shame.
“i’m really sorry about blackmailing you. if it makes you feel better, i deleted the photo even before you agreed to tutor me so you don’t have to worry about that anymore.”
suddenly remembering the predicament he had just weeks prior to this, he was shocked to find out you never intended to leak the photo in the first place. it made him resent the people who wronged you even more. seeing you feel remorse over what you’ve done urged him to reassure and comfort you.
“hey, it’s alright, don’t feel bad about it. if i were you i probably would’ve done the same, and to be honest i forgot the photo even existed in the first place,” you remove your hands from your face and look up at felix, only to see that his face is mere inches away from your own. you start to become flustered, however you don’t pull away.
“really? then have you been in love with me this whole time?” you tease, a smile grazing your features. felix’s eyes dart down to your pink lips, tempting him to kiss it.
“who knows? maybe it’s the other way around since you’ve blackmailed me just to hang out with me.” your faces get closer, and you both feel the ghost of your lips as it almost touches.
“are you flirting with me, felix?” his hands start touching your arms.
“you started it.” you dart your eyes towards his lips.
“well, did it work?” his eyes do the same.
“i think you know the answer to that.” when you were about to give in, your phone suddenly interrupts the moment.
in a split second, you both pull away as if you were burned. felix looks anywhere but you while awkwardly playing with his rings, and you check the caller to see it was somi, who probably called to congratulate you and ask where you were. you clear your throat awkwardly before glancing at felix who was still avoiding your gaze.
“uhm, so i have to go now. i actually still have a lot of stuff to do and somi just called so yeah…” you drag out the last word, fumbling with your phone, and felix nods his head.
“let me take you home,” felix starts to pick up your things but you hurriedly retract his hands. he finally looks at you, a flash of what seemed like hurt and confusion seen in his eyes, but you ignore it.
“oh no! it’s totally fine, somi will pick me up so don’t worry about it.” you lie, and and you think felix knows, but he doesn’t argue with you.
“ok, but be safe and message me when you get home!”
“i will!” you know you won’t but you still say so anyway.
Dynamic with Bang Chan and Felix
2nd part
"Such a pretty boy.", you praised him as you started playing with his hair. Bang Chan came to stand in front of you. He bent down to kiss you and started playing with your boobs. He kissed up and down your neck and between your boobs. You reached your hand out and started stroking his c*ck. He got up and moved his thumb across your lower lip while looking you in eyes. He put his thumb in your mouth and you closed your eyes and sucked on it. He took his hand out of your mouth and you started licking his tip. You moaned and took him out of your mouth as Felix started sucking on your clit harder than before. "Ok, you had your fun, that's enough.", Felix said and pulled your hips up. He guided you towards the table and bent you over it. "What are you waiting for?", he asked Bang Chan. "Sorry.", Bang Chan apologized and sat on the floor between your legs. Felix pushed himself into you from behind while pulling your hips back. Bang Chan started sucking on your clit and you moaned loudly. "You f*cking love that, don't you? To have all the attention on you.", he said and pulled on your hair. Your back met his chest as he pulled you up by your neck. "Yes, Felix, please, more." "You heard the girl. Do your job.", Felix said and Bang Chan obeyed. "F*ck, I'm gonna cum.", you screamed before coming. "Good girl.", Felix said and slowed down his thrusts. "You're gonna let Bang Chan f*ck you now, yeah?", you nodded your head and Felix slapped your ass as you headed towards the bed. Bang Chan followed behind you and sat on the edge of the bed. Felix took a chair and sat in front of Bang Chan. You placed your legs over Bang Chan and sank down on his c*ck. Bang Chan started lifting his hips up and down. Felix started stroking his c*ck at the same speed Bang Chan thrusted into you. "Faster.", Felix command and Bang Chan started thrusting faster. "Mmm, f*ck.", Felix moaned as he came all over himself and the floor. "F*ck, Felix, I'm close.", Bang Chan said out of breath. "Go ahead.", as Felix's words left his mouth Bang Chan came inside you.
