I have mixed feelings abt genderbends for various reasons, but one thing I rly hate is that some ppl don’t get that being gnc (or even sometimes gc, i.e. leather daddies, or femmes dressing “tacky”/“weird” on purpose) is a way of flagging for gay ppl and that those choices are often extremely intentional.

That’s why I don’t like what of the It fandom does with Reddie a lot of the times bc it’s like I keep seeing this thing where ppl are like “Richie is the boy one and Eddie is the girl one” when there’s a much better discussion to be had about how the extremely psychology + characterization-driven story of It might affect the characters’ relationships to expression and presentation

Anyway this is a long, roundabout way of saying that I think lesbian Eddie would be butch and lesbian Richie would be femme

claude @divinerapturee tagged me in this on friday ? saturday ? and i didn't participate in filthy Friday/smut Saturday LOL but i wrote a random little snippet today so lesbian reddie under the cut <3 if you want to post anything pls use me as ur tag

Richie distantly notices her vision start swimming when she stares down at the traces of pink lipstick on the silicone and Eddie on her knees between her legs. Richie pushes Eddie’s bangs out of her face and hears her hum when she swallows down around the strap.

“I swear to god I can fucking feel it,” Richie’s voice shakes when she says it and she brushes through Eddie’s hair with her fingers again.

Eddie rolls her eyes and pulls off. Her lipstick is smeared around her mouth and a thin string of spit settles on her chin, “You cannot fucking feel it, Richie.”

Richie rubs a thumb over Eddie’s cheekbone and Eddie nuzzles into her palm, sighing gently. She looks up at Richie through her lashes, mascara starting to flake under her eyes. Prettiest girl in the world, Richie thinks. If she said as much out loud, Eddie would call her gay and keep rubbing herself against Richie like a neglected house cat anyway. Instead, she opts for trailing her thumb across Eddie’s face and over her lips. Eddie’s mouth parts, almost instinctively.

Eddie’s not the trained one, Richie is. In some Pavlovian response to being hopelessly in love with Eddie, Richie would stop time and space to do whatever Eddie wanted. This includes letting her show off her skills as the self-proclaimed Silicone Throat Goat when Richie’s supposed to be working.

Richie presses the pad of her thumb into Eddie’s lipstick, pushing it past her lip line and well past the corners of her mouth. She feels a heat settle in her stomach at the way Eddie’s eyes flutter shut and the sigh against the palm of her hand. For a fucking germaphobe, Eddie loves being messy. She’s covered in spit, she's got rouge across her face, and she’s shifting around on her knees, grinding against nothing getting off on sucking at the strap-on.

Richie pushes her thumb past Eddie’s lips into her mouth and nearly buckles at the knees at the way Eddie’s tongue immediately wraps around the digit. It’s hot and wet inside her mouth and when Richie presses down on Eddie’s tongue, she can feel the slick rush of spit and the hum from her whimpering on her skin. Richie almost wishes she really did have a dick just to satiate Eddie’s oral fixation; she’d let her suck Richie off all day if that’s what she wanted. Time and time again, Eddie’s proven she does.

“You want it so bad,” Richie says under her breath. Eddie nods with Richie’s thumb still in her mouth. She sucks it down to the knuckle and Richie swears. Richie pulls her thumb out and glosses over the faded pink on Eddie’s lips with her own spit.

“Please, Richie,” Eddie’s voice, high and thin when she pleads like this. Brat, Richie thinks. “Give me what I want.”

Richie pats her on the cheek and feeds the silicone back into Eddie’s mouth. Eddie accepts it eagerly and goes lax against Richie's hand pushing her head further down, “Yeah, anything for my girl.”
