Doe Lesbian
Doe lesbian is a new term for feminine lesbians.
This term can be used by futch’s, lesboys, genderqueer lesbians, and mspec lesbians. Any lesbian is allowed to identify as a doe lesbian as long as they are sometimes or always a fem.
Coined by: @arcticflowerz
Also please note that just because someone may identify as a fem lesbian/fits this term, do not refer to them as a doe lesbian without their permission first, there’s always the chance they may not be comfortable with being referred to as a doe lesbian.
Please do NOT Repost my flags without credit
Edit: I wanted to note that this is not meant to be a “replacement” for “femme”. Continue using “femme” if you wish or use both terms, it’s your choice. I made “Doe lesbian” as just an alternative that I thought would be cute.

I used to always want to dress masculine because I thought that’s how I should look as a lesbian and if I was feminine it would me weird now I wanna be feminine and wear dresses and skirts and crop tops and wear make up and stuff (still not into heals tho) and my ex gf said I’d be the “man” in the relationship bc she’s the more feminine one it was basically a stereotypical bi x lesbian relationship

Cotton Cloud Lesbian or Lesbianette
Cotton Cloud Lesbian/Lesbianette is a term for when your a femme/doe lesbian and also short.
Coined by: @arcticflowerz
Please note that just because you may think someone may fits this term, do not refer to them as a cotton cloud lesbian/lesbianette without their permission first, there’s always the chance they may not be comfortable with being referred to as this label. There are plenty of people who have insecurities of their height so don’t call someone short unless you know their okay with it, and don’t use it as an insult.
Also, do not repost my flags/the things I coin with out credit.
This term can be used by any lesbian that is short and sometimes or always fem. I don’t support radical feminism or lesbian separatism.
Cotton cloud lesbian was the name I came up with and lesbianette was the name one of my friends thought of. Feel free to use which ever one you prefer.

I truly wish I could get cis people and non-butches to understand how inherent transness/butchness/gender-nonconformity is for so many of us, specifically related to how visible it can be even when we do our damndest to hide it.
My parents suggested I detransition/try to appear “womanly” because it’s getting really dangerous where I live, and I’m just like…there is no world in which I can make that work. I was getting called a lesbian and a dyke as a teen before I even figured out I was gay. I was shoved up against a wall in college and sexually assaulted in public when I was in the process of coming out and presenting very femininely, specifically because I was a lesbian. Even when I spent hours playing with makeup because it was kind of fun (because I did wacky styles that make me think I was using it as a drag thing more than anything) I still stuck out next to cishet girls.
I’m not saying I can’t do things to improve my safety, but I have been butch/trans/gender-nonconforming my entire life. I cannot undo that from the fabric of who I am; even if I cover it up, the people who want to do harm can typically still pick up on it.
