the fact that since I've been looking at myself differently lately, seeing myself as a femme and not as a masc-ish mix of whatever the hell I was feeling in the moment, my confidence has skyrocketed. like I'll sit down and my jeans are a little tighter around my tummy than I usually like and instead of that "oh no" feeling, I'm just like "femme tummy :)" and I just go about my day. same for my clothes, I'm wearing mostly the same clothes and outfits as before but now I just look at myself in the same stuff that used to make feel insecure over not looking the way I should and now I'm (mostly) starting to feel content with how the clothes I wear fit me and make me feel on the inside.

* before anyone misunderstands, in my soul or my attitude or outlook or whatever it is that you prefer to say, I've always been femme in a way. I just never realised it. what's changed recently is my self-expression and me embracing a side of myself that's always been there but needed to be slowly discovered.

i call it the sun & moon butch-femme flag because of the colors as well as the fact that the moon and the sun are both commonly associated with queerness and queer gender experiences! they are beautiful and complement each other!
