Hello poor people who follow me.

I will now be infodumping about my invader zim genderswap au. No spoilers for the fic here, only the dumbest shit I can think of.

1) FemDib ate glue as a child and huffed paint at 14. She was the kid who snorted her pixie stix.

2) Even though they aren’t fighting anymore at the time of the au and fic, FemZim and FemDib still find the dumbest ways to insult each other.

4) FemZim is a FEIND for vintage movies. No particular reason on this one I just think it’s funny.

5) FemDib is a snob about waffles. Like she only eats waffles made from scratch and she’s super bitchy about it.

6) FemZim is sleepy. I don’t care the Irkens don’t need sleep, the canon is my bitch and I say Zim gets to go honk mimimimi.

7) FemDib has a small collection of guns, mostly hunting riffles and shotguns but she also has a few hand guns.

8) EnbyKeef is a fashion obsessed idiot. Why? Idk I like it.

9) MascZita is a himbo.

HEY - I forgot to post these here.

As you can see, this is a hybrid style of my own and the IZ, still find a style I'm comfortable and happy with.

MIZ EXPRESSIONS PRACTICE PHASE 1

I need to practice more drawing Miz, so this was a nice exercise. I find her hair the worst to draw(I don't know why?), and I'm not even sure if I am happy with it now.

Anyway, thought I may as well as share this.

CHAPTER ONE:

SUGAR, SPICE AND A BIG SLICE OF DOOM!

First on my hit list of AU horrors, is the GENDERSWAP AU (AU-9352). Essentially everything is relatively the same but everyone's genders are the opposite to what they are in the canon-verse.

If you cannot tell who the two in the sketch above are, seriously what are you doing here? :'D

Allow me to introduce my designs for femZim and femDib, or as I have dubbed them Miz and Bid. Another lore tidbit for this AU is all the first names are inverted, mainly because most of the canon character's first names seemed to work well for opposite gender names backwards like this.

I can't say how much I loved designing these two girls. And I am looking forward to posting up them in my own more "anime" style.

More character designs to come and some other goofy doodles I have already made.

My initial designs for Bid and Miz, done in my default drawing style.

Tidbits about Bid; instead of exact copy Dib's trench coat, I gave her a heavier/winter style one that kinda borders on being a cardy if I am to be honest. My thinking for this is a very grainy, vague and probably unreliable image of the differences between the coats Mulder and Scully wore in the X-Files that I remember watching/seeing when I was young. Speaking of which; I definitely headcanon there being an X-Files equivalent show in the universe and she would definitely high school girl crush on the main protagonist "Agent Mox Calder" ♡, probably has a waifu pillow of him in her closet. Finally, a word on her hair design, that scythe IS there, it would be her ponytail, I just decided I really liked her hair up in a bun sort of effect; I imagine it to fall out to a scythe ponytail when she has been in a scuffle with Miz.

Tidbits about Miz; So Miz is probably had the least amount of change from her counterpart, but that is mainly because the Irkens are rather uniform looking even with a gender difference. So I tried to make the wig look feminine with an obvious call back to Zim's wig, the ponytail standing in for the slicked-back spike at the front. I went with a Tak-Esque uniform dress/shirt, I’m undecided if there will be some colour shade differences, we'll see. What you can't see, because I have drawn her in her human disguise, is that her antenna would be curled at their ends, plus the eyelashes just help communicate she is a girl. The squirrel "Earth Eater" she has perched on her arm is part of the latest evil plot to take over the Earth. I had this hilarious messed up image of her depicted as a hideously green evil Disney Princess when chatting with my lovely friend Literal Pirate.
