Heeey everyone, sorry for dying last week. Long story short, I was experiencing a personal crisis involving the way I shade and was really struggling with the first part of the next major update. 

I decided to try something new with this, and despite knowing  that I need practice shading with the lasso tool and a new inking brush with no pen sensitivity for CSP that’s not the G-pen, I’m happy with how this came out. Hopefully you don’t mind I drew your boy in a slighly more realistic style. :3

Oh, and I’m still open to fanart suggestions for this. If anyone wants to see fanart of a specific muse, go ahead and leave an ask in my inbox. Just note that it may take awhile before I get to it, because I like to draw these in between bigger pieces to give myself a bit of a break and practice other things.

(Fenris@Noir) "wow! What a strange Eevee!" He remarks as he strokes the Eevee's fur. "I wonder what you'd look like if you evolved... actually, do you even want to evolve?" He reached into his 'excess fur' and pulles out three stones "I have some evolutionary stones here if you'd like!"

“I’m pretty sure like every Eevee to ever exist I’ve thought long and hard about what I want to be when I evolve.  They all seem to have so many good things about them, I just don’t know!  I mean...Flareons are cool and I’d never have to worry about being cold ever again but then I couldn’t really go into water because I’m pretty sure that they hate water, but if I wanted to go into the water all the time I could be a Vaporeon...”  [Noir continues to talk about the pros and cons of each Eeveelution at length, going on for what felt like an hour.  She then looks down at the offered Evolutionary Stones held out for her.]

“Plus isn’t it kinda weird and rude to go around offering kids in a park Evolutionary Stones?  I’m not ready to evolve yet, cause I’m still figuring out what I wanna be, okay?”

(Fenris@Harper) Fenris observes the hybrid intimately. He takes notice of Harper's wings. "Those look strong and agile" he said. "How high can you go? I knew a Braviary once who flew up to thirty five thousand feet. Can you beat that?"

Trying to get food at night seems harder than it is during the day here. I wouldn’t recommend going to a city if you don’t like crowds or being shoulder to shoulder because that's how it is for Joy and me. I glance over at a tree and notice a place to sit. My legs are tired from all this walking so I slowly start to head towards the small tree. 

I guess Joy saw me walking towards it because without needing to tell her, she somehow already was there waiting. I still don’t know how she does this stuff. I sit down, allowing myself to relax against the bark of the tree. I look around to notice someone coming closer to me. The closer they got, the more detail I could see. 

The one coming closer was a braixen. Once in front of me, I can see a glance focused at my wings. Before I realized it, I heard the braixen’s voice. He complimented my wings which I couldn’t help but feel happy about it. After I was done patting myself on the back for my wings, I heard him ask about how high I could go. 

“First off, thank you for the compliment on my wings.” I say while letting my wings spread to the full length. “As for how high I can fly, that is still unknown to me. I never really had to fly super high before. I could guess that the highest I’ve ever flown would be one hundred to two hundred feet high which isn’t super impressive. But I can promise you though that I never flew as high as that braviary before.”

I look towards my wings while pulling them towards me. “You have me wondering if I could beat that now. Maybe if I put my mind to it. I always wondered what it would be like to fly with the clouds, but I’ve never done it before. Come to think of it, I can’t see why I haven’t tried it.”   

I look back to where I last saw Joy to see her not where she was. I look around to see she was at another window looking through. She made it decently far as well. I turn my gaze back to the braixen. “Sorry to leave on a whim but I need to catch up to my, travel partner. It was nice to talk and thanks once again for the compliment. Goodbye.” I say with a smile on my face as I start to walk off towards Joy. He really has me thinking, why have I never tried to fly as high as I could. Guess I’ll just have to try it out one day.
