Class Zero’s Death gets worse, somehow

I realized last night that the final scenes of Final Fantasy Type-0 take place in their classroom. That was the only space that belonged to Class Zero in Rubrum, that was the closest thing they had to a safe area. That was also where they went after every mission.

They treated that mission how they would treat a day like any other, and they dragged themselves back to the classroom to be on the only space just for them.

That would be like going to your childhood home and taking your usual seats at the dinner table as you die.

You sit at your table, in your chair, and you cry because that’s all that is left to do after war.

And then you die surrounded by the only people that could possibly ever understand what you just went through.

Forever feeling that Final Fantasy Type-0 was done dirty, no matter the circumstances. They had such a fun world and lore yet knowing we won’t ever get a Type-Next infuriates me.

Like they really teased and made a beautiful-strange yet hype teaser for a sequel-Ace in wearing samurai armor, being revived by a fire lady and just looking so cool! I want more for the series 😔

I was hyped when they reveal the Dominants and thought this was Bahamut. Finally they make Bahamut a woman!??

But nah I made mistake because of wings-like thing on her back, but after closer inspection that’s Shiva. ( TvT) sad.

When they announce this human-eikon thing I held out hope for either Odin or Bahamut to be woman, that would be an interesting twist compared to the usual same old. But in the previous trailer Odin revealed as he, so that’s one hope dashed. Now it seems Bahamut is the crown prince after all. Both guys sigh.. Oh well. Next time perhaps.

#that was a very sad and sweet ending #they all died holding hands imagining a happier world where they never had to fight and could live normal lives 😭 #i know there’s a happy ending i have to new game+ to get or whatever which’ll be interesting #fft0 has issues but it’s surprisingly well put together and has a good story #a lot of npc side stories to follow as things go on #seeing the npcs forget their friends who died because the crystal memory wipe thing was heart wrenching #hiruhuta being like “i guess i’m all alone but that’s fine because i always have been“ while i still remember his friends who died was pain
