A walk to the market

Unchecked and untreated Light corruption running rampant in U'nia's body for so long led to her losing her sight fully in her 30s. Luckily, she has a wonderful support network in her friends and partners, and re-accustomed well.

She can still 'see', if you can call it as much. She implores Aethersight like Y'shtola, but significantly less often. She ops to use her Soul Sight more than not, solely to keep track of people that enter or exit rooms, or to more or less look at who she's speaking to. Due to only seeing souls, it doesn't pick up on any inanimate object or other soulless entities. It's significantly less draining to use, however.

When on her own, she implores the aid of her seeing eye carbuncle, but her daughter Vivienne is always more than willing to accompany when she's home.

Also bonus shot of her cane! It sends an aetherial pulse into her palm when it detects a change in elevation (made for her by her friend A'vyra):

ID: A comic made with screenshots from final fantasy 14. Page one shows Lili'a, a Miqo'te, speaking to a pair of ala mhigan soldiers and an allied Ananta at Rhalgr's Reach. He is holding a gunblade and gesturing to it, saying "And sure, it's not exactly gun safety, but it works like a charm! I picked it up from folks aboard my parent's ship. Mind you, we mostly used more traditional weapons when sparring. Bapi always said gunpowder ruined the taste of the fish we would keep for selling. But every now and then we got pistol practice!"

In the background, another Miqo'te, A'vyra, is carrying a basket of bread. He overhears what Lili'a is saying and immediately stops what he was doing, dropping the basket and jogging towards Lili'a.

The soldiers appear alarmed by A'vyra's sudden approach. With a lisp, the Ananta says "Ah... Mister Skydance..." Lili'a drops his posture, confused. She says "Hm? Why do you all look so worried?" By now, A'vyra is right behind him.

A'vyra grabs Lili'a's ear and says "You're coming with me, and we're going to read your manual again. Cover to cover." Lili'a yelps and she staggers with pain. A'vyra drags Lili'a by his ear while Lili'a says "I'm sorry! I'm coming, you can let me go!" The Ananta asks one of the soldiers "Should we inform Lyse?" The guard replies "Nah, she'll be fine... Eventually." End ID.
