I think people often forget that Kristen Applebees went through the entire campaign in sandals. If they haven’t forgotten than it is not talked about nearly as much as it should be because who tf does that

I’ve been thinking a LOT about why Ayda matters so much to me, and I think the answer is that Ayda is an autistic woman whose life is changed and redefined by the authentic friendships she forms, especially as compared to a history of exploitative “friendships”. She states that the reason she charges for spells is because people take advantage of her; but she doesn’t charge Fig for Plane Shift, nor does she charge Adaine for the creation of an entirely new spell, because her friends (and girlfriend) treat her kindly. Not because of her great power, but because they see that she is a deeply caring, intelligent, and thoughtful person who deserves and needs kindness and affection.
I, personally, have a long, awful history of making “friends” in my childhood and adolescence that were not my friends. Looking back, they weren’t my friends because they were not nice to me, and only associated with me for my usefulness/intellectual capabilities so they could spend less effort on their classes. Or because I was an easy emotional punching bag who they knew wouldn’t rat them out for being cruel because I needed the friends.
But my adult life experience is defined by the friends I have made that are nice to me, consistently, and see my worth even when I struggle to communicate effectively or when I get overwhelmed. I definitely have fewer friends now, but they make me feel loved. I even have a best friend who, frankly? Always counts as an exception to my social limits: no matter how overstimulated or overwhelmed I am, I can handle being around her because she ALWAYS respects the boundaries I need to set.
And I don’t think that I ever saw that before, in media - an autistic person who lets herself be changed, defined, and loved by her friends, even when she knows that other people have taken advantage of her.
So, yeah. I’mma be on an Ayda Aguefort kick for a while.

Honestly, a severely underrated moment from sophomore year. Siobhan’s tiny little”oh yeah” is the cutest thing I’ve ever heard.

With Junior Year getting a teaser, I have something to confess. The worst crime I can commit as a D20 fan…
Fantasy’s High:Sophomore Year is my least favorite season of Dimension 20. I haven’t even managed to finish it because it’s such a slog to get through.
I’m sorry for this crime, loyal followers, and I understand if you unfollow me for this

“I've just been doing a deep, deep dive in here. You know, it's very interesting, the whole structure of all this is, it's just very interesting to tackle the law from this angle. And there's a tremendous amount. I mean, here's the funny thing is as I'm diving into this, the contradictions and all these other things, I mean, it's just a honeycomb, right? Because so much of this is based on common law and established precedent. And of course, precedent is based on the jurisdiction or the judicial sort of realm that, it's just a mess and it's a mess in a way that is deeply troubling, but also, you're solving a puzzle. There's kind of the mystery element to it.”
Dimension 20, “Boys’ Night Out”
Well, I never expected Dimension 20 to be the show that accurately represents the horrors of going to law school, but here we are.

I’ve said it before, but that was out loud so I’ll say it again here.
The Bad Kids in the Unsleeping City setting is something I would pay an absurd amount of money to see.
IMO, as someone who has only seen Fantasy High and half of Unsleeping City, Bad Kids are a more fun cast but Unsleeping City is a more fun plot and I desperately want more Bad Kids material
