Hey, um, you & your followers seem pretty good at finding specific fics for people? I’m trying to track down a Justice League oneshot, set pre-Identity Reveal, when they’re still learning how to work together. They’re doing combat training without their powers, Batman’s being a harsh critic, and someone’s like, “Yeah? I’d like to see YOU fight without your powers!” And Bruce is like, “Fine.” Then when (I think) J’onn reaches out to turn off his powers, Bruce is like, “Yeah, I don’t have any. Don’t tell them. This is gonna be hilarious.”

Okay that sounds hilarious but unfortunately not familiar. That or I’m just really bad at this. Anyone?

I'd like help finding a tumblr post-chain if anyone's seen it around! It was a writing prompt that various people had added onto

It was dp×dc and the chain features Tim Drake becoming a halfa, which they do on purpose via team phantom showing him the Febtons' fridge and essentially saying "this shit is all ecto contaminated. have at it. you'll have one really crappy week (dw danny will stay with you) and at the end of that you'll be a halfa".

so Tim is in the Batcave, and as far as the Bats can tell he's very sick and dying for unknown reasons. Danny is invisible and staying nearby to reassure Tim. unfortunately Tim is rather delirious (due to the crappy week of illness that's involved in transitioning to a halfa) and so at one point he starts laughing to himself about how the King of the dead (danny) gave him pomegranates (just happened to be the main thing that was ecto contaminated enough in the Fentons' fridge) and so the Bats start freaking out because they think they've got a Hades+Persephone situation on their hands

I've been trying to re-find this chain for a while but I've had no luck :( if anyone knows it please drop a link?

Do you know if there's any Sterek fics where Stiles had gotten bitten instead of Scott?

I actually don't, because although this is a trope I'm sure I would enjoy reading, it's not one I've ever gone looking for. That said! I asked some friends if they had any recs along these lines, and @lalaithquetzallicaresi in particular was very obliging, so a big thank you to Lalaith for sharing these with me!

Full disclaimer, I haven't yet read any of these, so I won't be able to provide any comments of my own, instead I've just included the summaries directly from the fics. Without further ado, here they are (I'll be off to read them now too!):

I Was a Teenage Werewolf by HaleHathNoFury - E, ~456k words (🔒 Locked) Stiles just knows he's going to get lost in the woods. There must be a Laura Palmer reference in there somewhere. A fork in the road retelling of Teen Wolf where Stiles is the one to get bitten. (This one also came highly recommended by @thotpuppy!)

Howling in the Moonlight by Fanfiction_is_Literature - T, ~114k words Teen Wolf if Stiles had been the one to get bitten.

"Bunnies are cute, Stiles." by limesnapdragon - T, ~56k words A season one rewrite where Stiles is the one who gets bitten, not Scott. It doesn't exactly pan out as planned but Stiles has Derek to help him through the weirdness.

Uncle Peter bit Stiles by aneria - T, ~80k words Claudia died in the fire saving Peter. Stiles has been visiting Peter since the fire. Stiles is an empath.

Becoming by Sibyl Moon - R, ~57k words (Not on AO3 - privately hosted)  A few days before Christmas, while out on his nightly run, Stiles is attacked by a monster in the preserve. When he begins to change, it doesn’t take him long to figure out what’s happening to him. Once he discovers Derek Hale is back in town, he finally has a few answers, even if they lead to more questions. Stiles isn’t sure he can trust the other man, but he believes that Derek is as invested in tracking down the feral alpha as Stiles is and that will have to do for now.

Stiles the Teen Wolf by Ashrel Fury - M, ~83k words (Not on AO3 - ff.net) What if it hadn't been Scott. What if it'd actually been Stiles who was bitten that night? When the werewolf shoe was on the other foot, Stiles isn't the one supporting anymore, he is the one who needs support, but with Allison Argent capturing Scott's attention, who will support the newly turned werewolf?

Hello. Have you come across a fic where the pack is visited by another pack. I remember Stiles opening to one of them about his injuries that didn’t heal correctly. He didn’t know that the girl had her phone on call with her alpha who made the pack listen to the things Stiles said. I also remember Stiles saying he had a limp. Thank you.

Hi, I don’t actually read many fics and the few I have read didn’t have anything like this. I looked around but I haven’t been able to find anything.

Hi Kit! I'm trying to find a fic and wondered if this sounds familiar to you or might even be one of yours? It's a canon divergence during the mustafar duel- Obi-Wan basically throws up his hands and says fine! I'll join the Sith if that's what you want! And Anakin basically stops in his tracks, thrown completely off, and argues that no, Obi-Wan can't do that, he can't Fall and etc, because he's OBI-WAN, and proceeds to mental breakdown himself right back to the Light. Does that sound familiar?

This sounds like a tumblr text post from @forcearama but I could be totally off about that, or someone could have written a fic based on the post! If anyone else knows though, feel free to chime in 💕

Does anyone remember that one Star Trek Voyager fanfic where the crew of Voyager stumbles on a buoy that apparently has the logs of Janeway during the events of Year of Hell?

The senior staff start listening to Janeway’s logs. Current Captain Janeway looks remote and dreading it the whole time, and then when it looks like she was about to reveal she was in love with Chakotay, current Captain Janeway halts the logs.

The next day she looks like she’s about to be shot in front of a fire squad and resumed playing the logs. But Year of Hell!Janeway actually doesn’t reveal anything.

But continue her retelling about the Year of Hell.

The story stuck with me and hasn’t let go.

I thought the story was by M.C. Moose, I should have stood in bed. But it turns out, it wasn’t and now I can’t find it.

Does anyone know the story I’m talking about?

I think the fic was published at the same era as MC Moose and the Talking Circle story.

I’m looking for a fic and I’m hoping you/your followers can help me! I’ve spent the past 2 hours on ao3 looking for it so I’m desperate lol

Eddie and Ana are on a date while buck watches Christopher. Christopher ends up getting sick and buck brings him to the hospital when he can’t get ahold of Eddie. They get there, Buck tells the staff that he is Christopher’s godfather. When they wait in the waiting room Buck sits on the floor with Christopher on his lap away from everyone because it’s still during the pandemic. Eddie and Ana show up, Buck fills them in and leaves. Eddie chases after him and buck says he knows he’s losing his place in their family and that Eddie broke his heart.

The next day buck is licking his wounds (eating Mac and cheese under a pile of blankets) in his loft when Eddie shows up and tells buck he’s upset because Buck didn’t even give Eddie a chance to fix bucks heart. They end up getting together and then Eddie says they have to go home because they have a sick kid who is waiting for buck to make him soup.

First of all buck eating Mac n cheese in bed is literally soo me coded….second, I feel like I’ve read smth similar to the first half of this but I definitely don’t remember the rest so I either didn’t finish it or just don’t remember or it was a completely different fic (all equally likely I’m afraid). If anyone knows what fic this is pls comment the link !!

I was advised to message you 'cause you or your followers might help. I'm looking for a fic that's possibly AU of yours but had no success. I read it this month but it might have gotten deleted since then. Scene: So Gerald is warlord or something like that, and Jaskier is in kaer morhen reading through various documents (letter or treaties) and writing sarcastic comments on them and keeping a tally of when there are hidden insults to the wolves, like implying they're monsters. Then vesemir lambert etc call jaskier to a room and Jaskier sees a map with several daggers stuck in the middle of it and also notices the papers he was reading through layed out and knows they read his comments and thinks they're angry at him for that so J starts babbling and apologising but they actually thank him for opening their eyes to all the hidden insults from other rulers etc. There is also a scene in the beginning where Jaskier predicts next actions of some ruler (redania? temeria? I don't remember) and it actually happens exactly that way. Does it ring any bells? Thx!

You know, that does ring a faint bell but I can't for the life of me remember which fic it's in.
