“The entire dorm reeks,” Remus offers, closing the door and sitting next to James along the cabinet, limbs overlapping.

James moves closer, presses his forehead to Remus’s neck and feels his pulse at his skin. He smells like parchment and the library and something like dog, something like wolf, it reminds James of the loamy smell of the forest at dawn, rebirth into flesh and the sun begging at the sky for its new day.

When he emerges from the warm cocoon of Remus’s neck, Sirius is watching, one knee propped up and his foot still on James. Remus smokes the joint and James looks to him, poking at his sternum until Remus grasps his wrist and holds it in his lap just as James was wanting all along.

“Prefect!” James chides.

Remus scoffs and knocks his shoulder under James’s chin and James is grinning and Remus is grinning even as he reminds, “Head boy.”

Sirius performs retching and they all collapse into lazy, weed-dry laughter. Remus’s arm is pressed against James’s torso and Sirius’s leg has nudged over his calf and it’s two points of contact that ground him to here, here, these two are all he needs.

What will you find on this blog?

Fic recs from any fandom that I happen to be interested in at the moment. Everything will be appropriately tagged.

My taste in fic varies a lot depending on the fandom I'm reading and the moment. For some fandoms, I like things more closely to canon, other fandoms I really like how authors adapt canon to fit their narrative, and for some other fandoms, I love how authors decide to fix them.

At the beginning, I'll be going through my bookmarks to post here, and the new fics I find as well.

My asks will be open to suggestions, questions, or conversations about fic.

I will not talk about fics I don't like. Just because some fics are not to my taste, doesn't mean they can't be good, and I will not be going against fandom's etiquette on this blog.

Notes:

I read a lot of fanfiction (I read a lot in general, I just also happen to read a lot of fanfiction). This blog was intended to be a place where I could actually write down some of my thoughts on individual works. Previously (as you can see in the pictures below) I have kept track of my reading on all pieces above 10k words in a Google Sheets document so that I can keep track of trends.

Right now I’m mostly reading BTS fanfiction, so by and large this will be a BTS fanfiction recommendation blog. But honestly I occasionally dip into other fandoms - The Untamed, KinnPorsche, James Bond, Magnificent Seven, etc. At this precise moment I’m digging through the Jikook tag chronologically, but I recently finished reading the Namgi tag so I’ll probably go back and pull some recommendations from that.

If you are the writer of a fic and you would like it removed from this list, please let me know. I’m happy to do so.

Blog Rebrand

     Hello everyone! By everyone, I mean hello to all 6,500+ people following this blog! ☺️ I have no idea if all of you are still here or active, but either way, those that see this hi!! 

     I created this blog in my last year of middle school and worked on it through my freshman/sophomore year of high school. I was very young and I had no idea my little blog would blow up like it did! 

     I still see people to this day follow and interact with this blog, and while I am no longer writing or creating content for these fandoms (I am a senior in college now, it’s been a while since I’ve interacted with any of the fandoms 😭) I do want to help others that are creating content for their fandoms. 

     So from now on, please send in any fandom creator recommendations through my ask box! If you’re a content creator step into my ask box and promote yourself! Share with us who you write for or a piece of work you are proud of! If you’ve just read an awesome piece of fanfiction please share it with us! I’m thinking of making tons of fic rec lists and blog rec lists too. If you have favorite creators on here, share them with us! 

     All asks will be shared every Friday on Fandom Friday. I sincerely hope this doesn’t flop because I want to help other fandom creators get the recognition they deserve!! This is still a rebrand + idea, so if you see lots of changes to this blog in the following weeks that's why lol This is my little initial message to say I’m changing the username, deleting things, and creating other stuff.

     If I get any submissions today or tomorrow then tomorrow will be the first Fandom Friday! If not, then only time will tell. ❤️
