Poll Rules!

Round One - Vote for your favourite! There are four groups of 32 bands, I will run two rounds of 1v1 for each group before merging them into the final bracket because I can't run 64 polls at once. If you don't see your blorbo, don't panic, they're in another group.

There is no see results button. Vote for a band based on the propaganda (or the name). Pick a side!

Please DO: reblog the polls into your fandom circles/ encourage your friends to vote/post propaganda in the poll notes or make your own posts and tag me! Bribe your mutuals!

Please do NOT: harass other fans, start discourse, send threats etc. be civil! joking threats are STRONGLY discouraged I'm too autism for that shit and you risk being blocked.

ᗢ . * !!⠀⠀ DIAMOND MIND is a five member band that debuted independently in 2015 featuring members daewoon, enid, matilda and maisie. the latter two’s music journey would start with the band’s single release of breezeblocks on janurary 3. performing in maisie’s garage on the weekends, breezeblocks remained the band’s only song for a year before daewoon would leave america, and thus leave the band. left without a guitarist, maisie and birdie assumed their dreams for the band were over, until they met cale shortly after. picking him up as their new guitarist, diamond mind would continue to make indie music until they were they signed under dove house in 2017, shortly after their first ep glass hearts had started doing numbers on youtube—hoping that being signed under a large company would bring more attention to their band.

all the members save for enid signed under dove house, and following enid’s departure came the addition of members kija and minh. it would be a full year before diamond mind released any new music under the label. things had shifted around entirely, with matilda becoming the drummer in enid’s absence and maisie picking up his role as the lead singer in the majority of their releases. when this was met with backlash from previous fans of the band, matilda would speak up saying that “the shift was purposeful”, and all that mattered was that they were still the ones writing and composing their music.

shortly after diamond mind’s official company debut with the extended play shatter me, the band would be involved in a scandal after daewoon came out and claimed the album was a dig at him and former member enid. this became an even bigger issue when fans pointed out that the album was written mostly by maisie, who was previously in a romantic relationship with daewoon when the band first started. as a result, she would be put on hiatus for six months, before dove house would suddenly come out with the news that daewoon was being sued and investigated. to this day fans still have no clue of what truly happened. the lawsuit and scandal would however bring attention to diamond mind, and while they are decently popular they are also known for having a ‘problematic reputation’.

Hi.

If you are reading this, you've stumbled across something different. Not your average Tumblr blog, but a blog none the less. You're probably wondering who we are, or maybe you've already heard of us, either way, before continuing, we'd like to thank you for stopping by.

Let's start with the fact that we're just some guys. Just some guys who are lucky enough to be able to do what we love most for a living. We're a New Jersey based rock band that was formed by four angry teenagers who got together and said fuck it, let's give it a go. And then never gave up.

The beloved NPCS of Los Diablos-specifically the local up and coming bad, LONG FANG.

(Left to Right)

Binxxx Bantrixxx is the Bassist. Popular due to his pretty looks, he is a recovering alcoholic from his hard times partying a bit too much back in his early collage years that resulted in him getting booted from collage and becoming homeless. This did result with him becoming best friends with front man, Lonnie, meeting at a homeless shelter.

Treavor Croish is the Gitaurist. Originally from Kansas, he came out to Nevada for the city's more open views and to transition-but stayed due to a gambling addiction he's still working through. Being in the band and having someone else handle and manage his money has helped quite a bit. Treavor is a bit on the quiet side, being a half orc, he is a bit self conscious about how short he is (5'6 which is SHORT for a half orc)

Lonnie Feng is the Front man and Vocalist of the group. Lonnie is loud, brash and isn't afraid to say or do what comes to his mind. He was kicked out of his well off family home during Highschool due to being a bisexual and ended up hopping around the Los Diablos Shelter scene, eventually meeting Binxxx. He later was discovered by their current manager and became the frontman of Long Fang-which is ironically named after him, being the name their manager wrote down due to being hard of hearing.

Dreadful (Derrick) is the drummer. Being a Firbolg, he's originally from Montana and came West to go 'see the world' as all young Firbolgs do when they come of age. Unfortunately due to naivety and stress, Dreadful ended up getting HEAVILY involved in drug use-specifically heavy amounts of tranquilizers. He has since gotten clean and as the band is still early in the works-he's getting an online degree while waiting for the band to take off, just to have a fall back plan. Dreadful is very gentle and quiet, mainly due to his nature as a firbolg and his gentle raised nature. He ironically does enjoy loud metal music.

STORYTIME: The Dewwits

PART 1/2

I sent this too early last time. From the top again; The Dewwits are a musical band located in the sky, or as the locals call it, "The Dewlands". To be a bit more specific, the Dewwits are located in a town known as "Cunubis". There, they write their music and perform at concerts.

The band is made up of four members. In this part, Part 1, I'll be talking about their individual backstories, starting with Wendy.

Wendy is the pianist of the band, but before she joined the band, she used to play a guitar for another band, called the Rockawurlds. Compared to the Dewwits, the Rockawurlds weren't nearly as popular, nor as upbeat. They were a rock band, and they sang about more emotional topics compared to the upbeat dance music of The Dewwits. Anyways, during one of the Rockawurlds performances, Wendy's guitar broke, probably because of the stress from all that strumming she was doing.

After her guitar broke, Wendy thought that she wouldn't be able to contribute anything to the band anymore, so she walked away. It was hard to find a replacement in the Dewlands, because it's hard to find instruments in the sky. She wasn't that interested in the music the band played anyways. She thought the music was "too dark". She liked the music because it was fast, but that was really it.

We'll come back to Wendy in the next part. Now, lets move to Raindrop, or R.D. When she was young, like a kid, she used to prance around the town, singing some random tunes to small crowds of people. The townsfolk enjoyed her singing, and they recommended that she join the "Cunubis Choir". She listened to their advice, and joined the choir group. This didn't last very long because she froze up during her first performance after she saw the huge audience waiting for her to sing.

The audience instantly knew what was happening, and felt bad for the girl. However, R.D. was convinced that the crowd was getting upset at her for taking so long. After somebody came to take her place, she sat down in her chair and wailed. This traumatized her so bad. She became a quiet person, she stopped singing in public, and she avoided crowds at all costs.

Now, let's talk about Hugo. Hugo's a bit different because 1; he's a male in a population that's predominantly female, and 2; he's a Thundercloud. Thunderclouds are known in the Dewlands for usually being hostile and irritable, which makes their color a dark purple. But Hugo's actually a pretty calm person. When he was young, he learned how to control his temper. This attitude shift made his color turn to white with tints of purple.

He got into music when he saw a poster that made him consider joining the "Cunubis Orchestra". He recently bought a tuba from some shop, so he decided that he should bring it into the orchestra. The orchestra usually played alongside the choir, so Hugo actually ended up being present during R.D's performance. After someone took her place, she sat down next to Hugo, so he tried to console her. It didn't really work, but she appreciated the effort, so she kept him around as a friend.

Lastly, Cecil. He's also a thundercloud, and he's even a dark purple. But, for whatever reason, he's actually not that hostile. Nobody can really explain this. Another thing to note; he has blue lightning, something out of place compared to the average yellow lightning. His lightning got him a lot of attention when he was young, and he became a very sociable person. He was kind of boastful too. He liked showing off his blue lightning to people, because people flocked to him whenever he did it.

One day, somebody comes up to him with a question. "Who's your best friend?" Cecil wanted to say "everybody", but he took time to think about it. He's in a lot of relationships, but none of them are that deep. A thought popped into his mind, what if he's nobody's best friend? Maybe he is just a showoff, nothing to contribute but flashy moves. He answered the question with "everybody, duh" anyways, and went back home to think about it for a while longer. That night he became fully aware of himself, and how lonely he really was.
