In case you missed it.  Apparently he out-right discusses the role.   I’m not sure why there actually aren’t more articles about this.

We’re honored that Andrew M. Reichart, managing editor of Argawarga Press (weird books for weird people), listens often to the “Anagrammatical Ancestor Spell” flexi-disc we recorded for Fiddler’s Green #5.  Thank you, Mr. Reichart, for calling our recording “inspiring.”
Wondering about this post?  Wait for the dissertation (TBA). For now:  Weblog ◆ Books ◆ Videos ◆ Music ◆ Etsy

This cover of Drunken Sailor is notable because it has a large number of guest appearances from a bunch of bands, mostly German (Fiddler’s Green is a German Celtic band) but also just this random musician (the vocalist for Russkaja) who sings in Russian for no apparent reason towards the end, and therefore absolutely makes the song.

This is The Shrieker, a campaign newsletter by Clint Marsh that ran for 16 issue from 2006 to 2007. It is 100% awesome.
This was never for sale, it was privately circulated to folks who played in Clint’s games (or who Clint was trying to entice to play). So it is 100% a labor of love that was never meant for outside eyes, which is why I am only sharing a small portion – I want folks to know this exists, but exhaustively reproducing it feels somehow wrong. So a glimpse will have to do. (How did I get a set? A DM has to have his secrets.)
The first issue is a one-sheet log of events from an adventure (B1-In Search of the Unknown) and, like just about every other issue, uses re-purposed module art to great effect. Later issues grew more elaborate, including essays and other fun stuff. There are reproductions of certain legendary sections of Deities & Demigods, invites to parties (D&D-themed movie nights/Christmas parties and a celebration of Gary Gygax’s 69th birthday), monster stickers and paper miniature kit (those last two are missing from my set, alas).  My favorite, though, is the yearbook, which collects all the PCs of the previous year (marking those who died with a cross).
Its great fun all the way through and is kind of a monument to all the stuff I think is most important about TTRPGs, primarily getting together with friends around the table and making some memories. I only wish I has the time and energy to memorialize my sessions this way.
Clint, by the way, is the man behind @fiddlersgreenzine, and is a publisher of “art & magic for tea-drinking anarchists, convivial conjurors & closeted optimists,” which translates to gorgeous esoteric zines and pamphlets. Give him a follow!

Tragically Hip - Fiddler's Green (Tiger Moon Cover)
It’s hard to cover such a distinctive voice as Gord Downey’s, but I think this version pulls it off.

Rumor fresh from Twitter: Stephen Fry is Fiddler’s Green and Nina Wadia is the Mother of the three-in-one.
There’s a new rumor on Twitter that Stephen Fry is going to play Gilbert AKA Fiddler’s Green in Neil Gaiman’s The Sandman.
Gilbert is the human persona of Fiddler’s Green, a place in The Dreaming that one day, during Morpheus’ long captivity, decided it wanted to know how it felt to live as a human man and wandered off.
There’s another rumor that Nina Wadia is playing The Mother aspect of the Hecatae.  The rumor about Nina originated with Deadline, who are usually correct but they have made occasional mistakes in the past.

The rumor about Stephen Fry comes from an interview where he apparently slipped.  Oopsie.  That certainly looks like accidental confirmation.   We love you, Gilbert.

Song of the day
Bugger off by Fiddler’s Green
Album: Sports day at Killaloe (2009)
I like Celtic rock style stuff, I like songs that encourage me to shout obscenities (hey, it’s a very cathartic activity sometimes!), so it was unsurprising that I discovered this and liked it.

16th Nov., 2287
Before leaving Fort Hagen behind I made sure to go through the radio frequencies once more. With the closest radio tower now active I picked up one repeating civil alert & two distress signals.
The alert came from an abandoned, personal bunker beneath a satellite array. A group of people had built shacks between the satellite towers & seemed to slaughter & rebuild robots with questionable skill.
Following one distress signal led me to Fiddler's Green Trailer Estates. I found a pacifist commune who sought to live free of weapons. They even locked an incomplete T-51 in one of the trailers. Valentine was quick on picking up how to maneuver the spare power armor.
The second distress broadcast sounded like a girl trapped in a cave-in but it proved to be a ruse. They were a branch of the Raiders led by a man that called himself "Black-Eye Bobby". The ruse was a way to recruit or force people to join the gang. I turned him down & he was clever enough not to pick a fight against power armor.
As I was making my way back I was stopped by Valentine. It expressed worry about my mental state after meeting Kellogg. The synth even recounted its own struggles of coming to Diamond City & earning the trust of its citizens. Admittedly I found consolation in this expression of concern, despite it being from a robot.

30 Day Song Challenge A song that makes you sad The Tragically Hip - Fiddler’s Green
This song is about Gord Downie, the lead singer’s, nephew who died as a child due to heart complications. It’s sorrowful, it’s powerful, it’s beautiful. This song took on a whole new meaning when Downie was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, and the band decided to do one more nation-wide tour for the fans. This song joined the set list, and it was as if he was performing it about himself.
