forgot to post my Thanksgiving dinner on time this year 馃様
anyways. this was by far the best meat substitute that I've tried as part of a big holiday so far. It was delicious cold and fresh out of the oven. The gravy mix was very tasty, I wasn't expecting that out of a powder.
and the close up is part of a set of antique bavarian plates from either the late 1930s or mid-1940s.
courtney miller smosh mouth tntl has SUCH a specific vibe to it that feels. distinctly unhinged. something about courtney's ability to not break combined with how amanda and shayne riff off each other makes it feel MORE like psychological warfare than the prior smosh mouth tntls.
Just an hour of three people making devastating one liners, followed by silence from everyone stoically taking psychological damage, before an even more ridiculous one liner follows it. Like a roller coaster of roasting.
if you listen closely, in each one of the silences here you can HEAR the two singular brain cells zipping around and taking psychic damage every time something ridiculous is said. what do you MEAN deep fried old navy mannequin.
I've been watching Doom Patrol lately and wow is it a fever dream.
A fucked up found family bumbling around and trying to be heroes? It just makes for some interesting dynamics with Danny having the most hero experience. There are so many ways to bring Danny Phantom into the Doom Patrol.
You could have Danny, Dani, and Jazz being hunted by the Bureau of Normalcy, and miraculously saved by Niles Caulder.
Or if you wanna go a more wholesome route, Danny the Street finds them and they gain a new sister in the form of Dorothy.
And then there's the dead boy detectives.
I love the batman crossovers as much as anyone but DC has so many more characters to explore.
I once saw a video where the bride and groom roast their bridal party as part of the reception and I can鈥檛 help but think Hunter would definitely do this to his brothers on his wedding day. XD
love discovering bits and bobs while writing potc fic that鈥檚 never on earth going to make it in. did you know that william hogarth was arrested in france on suspicion of spying in 1748? no? neither did i. and now we do. peace and love on planet earth while i backtrack through the rabbit holes to something vaguely useful.
After this semester ends in like a week I won't have any more religious studies classes like. Ever again. My religious studies advisor already told me that people have tried to put religious studies classes towards history degrees in the masters program but the school won't let them. I can always keep researching on my own and part of the point of this minor was to get the tools to do so but religious studies is a field full of so much bias and it's nice to have someone to guide me through that.
I've had frozen breakfast sandwiches before and they're not terrible but I just can't with these meat alternatives. this one had a subpar flavor. not to mention that it was piping hot out of the microwave and I had to let it cool for like 5 minutes.
I also don't know why the label asks you to make sure the paper towel you wrap em in is damp because the English muffin and fillings release enough water to make the paper towels super damp themselves.
It's palatable but it's not amazing and I've made a vegan egg McMuffin before with just egg and morning star sausage patties (I've also had great success making my own patties with TVP and flour).
One of the yellow field peas that we grew from some bird seed has really taken off. It even has some blossoms in their very early stages:聽
Tithonia rescued from the trash pile at the community garden. I don鈥檛 expect it to overwinter here but I hope we can at least get this flower to maturity so we can collect viable seeds for next near:聽
We got rain last night but would you believe this is one of six cabbage starts that we propagated from one butt end of a store-bought cabbage:聽
