Sometimes, Jadon had told you if you wanted to play FIFA with him, and at first you agreed because you thought it would be fun, but the problem was that you didn’t know any buttons and he didn’t want to explain you so he could win easily. Since then, you never played again even if he begged you to. Your boyfriend wanted you to play with him because he wanted to spend a little bit more time with you, that’s what he always told you but you knew that he wanted to brag about his great skills and laugh at you for not knowing, too.
You knew his ‘plan’ of making fun of you, so you decided to start practicing while you had free time and he was at training. You couldn’t practice while he was at the house that you two shared because he was either playing FIFA with his friends with you on his lap or being super clingy with you and only wanting to be next to you, not that you minded thought. Even if he didn’t mind playing while you were next to him, he wanted you to play with and against him.
“Hey, princess”, he greeted you while closing the front door. You quickly got up from the sofa and approached him.
“Hey, my love”, you pecked his cheek softly. Jadon drew his lower lip between his teeth, doing puppy eyes at you as a result of the lack of love you were giving him. You just giggled at your boyfriend’s childish behaviour and left a small kiss in his mouth. The english man pressed his lips together forming a line and furrowed his eyebrows seeing that you weren’t going to give him what he wanted. Consequently, he grabbed your hips and got you closer to his body. He smelled like sweet, dewy citrus which is both crisp and clean, due to his Dior cologne. He smirked as he saw that you relaxed in his embrace. He stared down at your plump lips, ran his thumb over your lower lip before bowing his head and kissing you. Jadon slid his hand into your hair slowly, then continued back down to reach your bum and pulled you even closer if it was possible to him. You ended the kiss by biting his bottom lip softly and turned around to go to the sofa. Jadon followed you and when he reached the sofa he saw that you were ready to play, with the joystick in your hands, one in a spot next to you for him, and FIFA21 ready in the TV.
“So the princess wants to beat the king, uh?” Your boyfriend smirked and sat down next to you after he grasped the controller.
“You are too beautiful like to lose against me.”
“Flattering won’t help you when I kick your ass, Sancho!” He chuckled at you and thought for a second.
“Let’s bet-“ he proposed -“the one who loses has to wash the dishes for an entire week.”
You rolled your eyes at his proposal but accepted anyway. “Deal”, and you two shook hands to seal the bet.
“And-“ you added, extending the ‘d’ -“the loser will make dinner tonight.” You smirked knowing that he hated cooking and that he was going to lose against his girlfriend.
He hesitated at first, but nodded after all, even though you didn’t know how to play, is what he thought.
He obviously chose Manchester United as a team and you chose Juventus because Dybala was in the team, who you found handsome and you knew Jadon was jealous of.
You lifted the corners of your mouth after seeing that Jadon had rolled his eyes at the captain of the italian team.
“You smile like that because you know you will get my attention, don’t you?” He wrinkled his nose.
“Don’t be jealous, baby, you know I love you.”
“I’m not jealous”, he scoffed at you, “let’s start the game.”
The first half was pretty equal, some shoots from the both of you to your partner’s goal but any of you being able to score. You could see that Jadon was getting nervous due to your great skills that he didn’t know of. He was open-mouthed when he saw that you had improved a lot. From barely knowing how to use the controller, to knowing how to do a lot of tricks. His leg was moving up and down and you couldn’t help it but put your hand on his thigh to calm him down, after all it was just a game and you knew how serious Jadon could take the game. He stopped his movements abruptly and looked at you, his eyes sparkling with love and the furrow that was in his beautiful face fading away as he saw you.
He gazed down at your lips and licked his, he bent down an kissed you just enough to leave you thirsty for more. You knew that he was doing this to distract you, but you weren’t going to fall for that. So to tease him a little bit, you kissed him fiercely not giving him time to process what was happening. He kissed you back and as soon as he did that you pulled away, as well as sitting on his lap since you knew that it would cause him to get tensed.
The second half started and Jadon was going harder, he definitely didn’t want to lose and make dinner as well as washing the dishes just because of a dumb bet that he thought would be fun and easy to win. In the 64th minute, he passed your defenders and tried to score with Cristiano, but you made Szczesny, the goalkeeper, save it.
The match was ending and neither of you could score even if you tried your best. However, only 3 minutes before the match ended, you could foul Jadon’s defenders and score with Dybala. You celebrated the goal screaming it to Jadon’s face and he couldn’t help it but smile at you, happy that it would be more fun to play with you and that you felt proud of yourself for winning.
The match ended and you started jumping around the living room celebrating your win. The Manchester United player stood up and hugged your waist from behind, startling you.
“Congratulations, princess.” He whispered while kissing your neck.
“Stop it! It tickles”, you giggled at the feeling of his chin beard. “But, what can I say? I’m a badass”.
Jadon laughed and shook his head from side to side.
You reluctantly pulled away from his embrace and turned around, because even though you loved his kisses, you weren’t going to waste the opportunity of boasting.
“It’s your turn to make dinner!”, you laughed at him and his face dropped remembering the stupid bet.
“Damn it, I forgot about that”. Jadon sighed and started walking towards the kitchen to make dinner, suppressing a smile at your happiness for winning.

On 16 August 2016, Fernandes moved to Sampdoria on loan with an obligation to be signed permanently. He scored again in the second match between the sides in a 1–1 draw.
