The Analysis Design Framework, introduced during the WOII program week 2, emphasizes the importance of assessing aesthetics, functionality, usability, and overall efficacy in design as it is essential for designers to create impactful and successful designs that resonate with their audience and achieve desired outcomes (Kenton, 2023).
This lesson is further deepened through class activities, the items we brought to class were categorized into four groups based on the personal stories we shared about them: Historical Significance, Materially Pleasing, Well Crafted, and Personal Significance. For instance, my silver wallet, which I used daily, exemplifies these categories. It is crafted from high-quality leather, providing durability and a visually appealing accent to my casual attire. Despite the class placing it in the category of Personal Significance as it a necessary thing to me.

On the fifth week, we visited the Singapore National Museum on a field trip, which was also a chance for us to learn more about the previous week's lesson by encountering a diverse range of remarkable exhibits and activities. However, there was a particular instance where I felt inclined to make a significant expenditure: the history of travel guide design and its impact.
During our visit to the Singapore National Museum, I delved into the evolution of tourist guidebook design, showcasing the principles of the Analysis Design Framework. From traditional print to digital formats, the exhibit illustrated how design elements such as aesthetics, functionality, and usability have evolved to enhance travelers' experiences. This exploration underscored the significance of thoughtful design in creating effective and impactful tourist guidebooks, enriching travelers' journeys.
