A Baby

A baby is a human just as much outside of the womb as it is inside. It is no more alive when it exists outside of its mother’s body than it is existing inside. The pro-choice movement wants people to believe that a baby is not a human until it exists outside of the mother. That is simply not the case. Life starts at conception and any amount of research will corroborate that - just follow the science. 

A baby is inside the womb for nine months for a typical pregnancy. This means that, as long as no unexpected emergency happens, birth is expected in nine months. Abortion advocates would have you believe that, despite birth almost guaranteed, it is alright to terminate the child’s life. There is an analogy that helps to illustrate what this is like and you may have seen it already. Suppose there is a person on life support who is expected to wake up in nine months but will need the machines until then. The person will then need the help of their family for a time to make a full recovery. A doctor or a close friend, maybe both, then try to convince you to terminate life support. Maybe they tell you that the financial drain will be too much or that you didn’t sign up for this responsibility - maybe you start to believe it.

A baby is just like the person on life support. It cannot survive outside of the womb just like the person cannot survive without the machines and people caring for them. The difference comes with what is socially acceptable. If a person is thought to be able to come off of life support then there is no way their family would take away the support no matter the financial or personal burden. However, society has made it “okay” to kill the preborn because they are “not alive”. 

There are people out there though that don’t accept this and never will. Human life is valuable at any stage and it’s up to you to decide where you stand.

It’s been over a month since I last posted, and I am still finding my strength slowly back. Life throws so many curve balls, that only when you survive, you know how strong you are. As I was being treated with chemotherapy, I’ve fallen ill and this time with my heart failing. Just 3.5 weeks ago, I had an emergency open heart surgery, as my aorta was leaking and my heart aorta had to be replaced immediately. Things were happening around me and my life was counting down in seconds, but I knew all the way that I will make it back, as I determined then that I will make it back. I felt the presence of the life light, and knew I was protected. As a cancer patient will low immune, I went in surgery, and never looked back. Over the past weeks, I hade been ( and still am) concentrating on my recovery, and everything else ( including my passion for my kaftan business), is not important for me now. Just blessed to be here, and although recovery itself is tough, keeping the faith that I will get better, and what’s more, I have been given a chance. With this COVID, so many things are happening to this world, but keep the faith, and never give up, as long as you have life and health, you have everything in abundance. I am still standing, and although I’ve lost hair, and had chest , breast surgery, I refuse to look defeated. I am a warrior at heart, and will look the best I can, and will radiate light and happiness, no matter what. I am determined, and I will continue on to win. I find it incredibly appalling how we are in the 21st century and still dealing with issues like racism. When will humanity learn ? How many more people need to be killed for us to realise that everyone is the same. Everyone was born to be equal. And more importantly everyone was born to be human. To live freely and to the fullest. How can you excpect humanity to prosper and advance if the people that are meant to keep us safe put us in more danger? Everyone is supposedly fighting for equality but when the time comes people turn a blind eye. That’s not how things are supposed to be! People should be equal! They should be free! And they should live in a world, a country where they can have both! Fight for it! Fight for those people! Fight for the mother that is afraid to let her child walk down the street praying that they’ll be fine ! Fight for the father afraid to let his child go out at night because he may not return!
