My Coronabeth Dominant Twin manifesto is simple and it's as follows: there's no way the twins could have planned for Canaan House.
John requesting new Lyctors wasn't something anyone in the Houses would've expected to happen in their lifetimes with any meaningful probability. This means that when the Tridentarii started the double necromancer ruse, they expected to carry on for life. It was an arrangement that benefited Corona vastly more than Ianthe.
What Ianthe got out of it, as far as we know: Corona would rule Ida, which she isn't keen on (as per NtN). But it also meant that Ianthe signed up for a life in her sister's shadow, with everyone regarding Corona as the perfect heir and Ianthe as the lame spare. Worse, for Ianthe, everyone believed Corona was the better flesh magician (as per As Yet Unsent). There's a lot more in for Corona in this arrangement and a lifetime of mild humiliation for Ianthe. As we see during the reveal in GtN, she was just dying to tell anyone that SHE is the necromantic genius of the pair, actually.
On their relationship with Babs: in GtN, Gideon notices that Babs obeys Ianthe's orders over Corona's. She also notices that Corona looks shocked about this — to me, this means that it's NOT something Coronabeth is used to. Pre-Canaan House, they are equals in their ruse. At Canaan House, it becomes obvious that if Ianthe ascends she'll leave Corona in the dust, and their relationship has to change. I don't think the way they act around each other from Canaan House onwards is at all representative of their relationship back on the Third, and I don't think Babs deferring to Ianthe over Corona is something that has happened often before, if at all.
There's the bit where Corona routinely threatened suicide to get her way since they were teenagers. In NtN she's doing it to save Camilla's life, but she reminisces fondly about it like it was something she did often to get her way, like it was a fun mind game they played with each other.
You've also got Ianthe calling Corona a bimbo and insulting her and whatever, and me arguing that Corona pulled the few strings doesn't make Ianthe good but as things stand I'm much more inclined to believe that, before Ianthe attained Lyctorhood, Corona was the one in charge — and I’m also firmly convinced that she’s using BoE for her own ends, and we’ll see her Fuck Shit Up in AtN.

I was wondering if you think Lucy is ticklish and who all would abuse it and why if she was. (Personally, I think most of the girls in the guild would since she has such younger sister energy.)
Lucy is for sure ticklish! And unfortunately everyone in the guild knows lol
Natsu takes full advantage of it. Lucy will never know peace. His favorite thing in the world is messing with her
Gray threatens to tickle her but rarely actually does it
Happy is just as much as a menace as Natsu but Lucy can and will throw him
Juvia surprisingly takes advantage. She's not as extreme as the others but she will give Lucy some random pokes in the side
Levy is a monster. She likes to target Lucy at hot springs. They both almost drowned after one particularly brutal tickling
Gajeel also threatens it a lot. Lucy can't even sit next to him without him throwing out that he can and will tickle her. She never sticks around to find out if he will go through with it
Cana is also brutal in the hot springs, but Lucy is never safe. If she's not tickling Lucy, she's groping her. Cana cannot keep her hands off Lucy
Mirajane does it when she knows Lucy is having a bad day and needs a chuckle. It's not very frequent so it always throws Lucy off
Lisanna might hold the title of most brutal tickler. It's gotten to the point where Lucy wont let Lisanna get too close to her out of fear. Lisanna absolutely delights in Lucy's fear
Laxus will actually give Lucy a little poke here and there. It's mostly just how he gets her to move out of his way
Bickslow chases Lucy around the guild threatening to tickle her. He doesn't actually touch her but usually leads her straight into a trap (Usually Lisanna laying in wait)
Bonus:
Out of her spirits: Virgo, Loke, Aquarius, Taurus and surprisingly Aries take advantage of it
Yukino tries to tickle her but Lucy knows Yukino is just as ticklish so it doesn't end well
Hisui also likes to get her hands on Lucy, but Lucy can't retaliate because "I'm royalty you can't touch me!"
Flare uses her hair to get Lucy from afar. Lucy has never felt fear like being randomly tickled when she thought she was home alone

My assumption is that you’re a ride or die bad bitch.
I feel like if someone you love needs help, you’re there not questions asked ready to throw down 😂😂😂
you have no idea how true this statement is. It gets me into trouble sometimes🤡 but I am 100% a. “let’s go— ask questions later or never” type of person.

just say where you think it’s going it’s not a spoiler if it’s not even for sure yet.. just a theory.. tag it if u must but i wanna see if we’re on the same page 👀👀
I FINALLY got my Nona preorder and I'm about to start reading it soon so I should probably finally answer this ask. (For context I made a post months ago about how I knew where part of The Locked Tomb was going but I was worried about spoiling other people if I was right ...and then executive dysfunction prevented me from answering this ask whoops sorry)
Here's what I think is going to happen: I don't know when, and I don't know how, but Coronabeth is going to kill Ianthe. In the bonus content for the paperback version of Gideon the Ninth when Muir is explaining the pronunciation of the character names she includes fun facts about the origins of some of them, and in the section for Coronabeth and Ianthe she says she was originally going to name them Cainabeth and Abella but she changed her mind because she felt like it would be too obvious and she might as well just name them "good twin" and "bad twin." But here's the thing. In this scenario, Ianthe is not the "bad twin." Corona is. Cain was the one who killed Abel after all. If the naming scheme that Muir considered is consistent with the rest of her biblical allusions in the series, they mean something. We already know that Ianthe and Corona are on opposite sides of what is shaping up to be a full scale galactic war, and we already know that the end of this war most likely involves killing God, and we already know that Ianthe—as his last loyal lyctor—is fully prepared to fight to save God's life. I think the path to killing God involves Coronabeth killing Ianthe. "Good twin" and "bad twin" here aren't necessarily from the perspective of the reader. Wouldn't it make more sense if the allusions to Cain and Abel were from God's point of view? The point of view of a God whose impious worshipper kills their sibling that God loves more?
Again, I haven't started reading Nona yet, so if this happens in the book don't spoil anything for me. I just figured I would finally scream into the void about this theory while I still have the chance

thoughts™ about atn
So... apparently there’s going to be a wedding in book 4? Here are my Thoughts about who’s getting married, and no, I do NOT think it will be Harryanthe:
No one is getting married - it’s a flashback to before the Resurrection (John and Alecto, perhaps? Depending on what’s revealed about her/what she’s revealed to be) and Tazmuir is likely chortling into her video game controller at our Wild Mass Guessing
or, more plausible,
It’s Coronabeth getting married to one of the Blood of Eden leaders, probably Crown Him with Many Crowns or, maybe less likely, Unjust Hope. Imagine it - a princess of Ida, marrying a fucking Blood of Eden leader. It has practical advantages, sure, but mostly... imagine the drama it would cause, for both sides. Imagine the chaos. And what is Coronabeth, exactly, if not a gun waiting and wanting to go off?

for the TLT asks
🔬 🛡️
🔬 Who is your fav lyctor and why?
Gideon the 1st! We don't get much of him, but he fascinates me.
🛡️ Which Cavaliers would you wanna see fight 1V1? Who would win?
Why must they fight... can't they get along... but Colum and Camilla, for sure. I don't even know who would win - Cam seems like the obvious choice but I just know the Eighth have something weird up their sleeves. Even if she wins it'll still be a fight.

i feel like ianthe probably knows theres a way to double the lyctorhood process but shes biding her time because she hasn't figured it out yet. "YOU LIED TO US" okay, but if she wants to figure that one out she needed to use what she had at her disposal (babs) completing the process she was sure would work (cannibalizing him) until she could figure the other one out
I'm willing to bet that she's hanging on to jod because she wants to live long enough to study him. but once she knows how he did it, itll be she and coronabeth against the universe and God Be Damned if he tries to stop her
