Pesto pasta tier; Consider these for your next picks.

The Eclipse - ‘Mystery’ (It’s not really) First & Khao’s first main role as pair. Great performances from both and a great side cast. Silly bounce off the wall kiss that is A+. 

The Warp Effect - Sex comedy but done correctly. Have literally never ever seen this kind of comedy done this well. Amazing performances all round, name a queer perspective and theres probably rep for it. 

Moonlight Chicken - Vibes in a show. Earth & Mix do soft, gentle pining so bloody well and it’s gripping. Honestly just a gorgeous queer found family story that examines what it is to be both dirt poor and gay. 

Bad Buddy - A silly BL premise but done delightfully. The friends are a little annoying but you get used to them. Good commentary on the burdens parents can leave us with. Ohm & Nanon are fantastic. 

Like in the movies - Another from the Phillipines. Just breathtaking. Ends bittersweet, which some didnt love, but it’s a beautiful journey and the Ben&Ben ost is sublime.

Not Me - The premise of this is so dumb but it really works. Essentially a story about a funky little, anti-establishment found family who want the world to work for everyone. First is fantastic in this and it’s rare I give Off his flowers but he deserves them for this. 

Chicken stew tier; Don’t overlook but maybe next

Gameboys - Two cuties fall in love over the computer during covid. That’s a simple sum up but it’s a lot more than that. The philippines really put out some great BL during covid and this is one of them.

Pearl Next Door - The f/f sidekick to gameboys but not set during covid. Realistic feeling lesbian drama and all the girls are a delight. On YouTube.

A Tale of a 1000 stars - Another bizarre shouldn’t work concept that does. Much like Moonlight Chicken it’s a lot of episodes of Earth & Mix pining but they do it so well that it’s just very very watchable. 

Be my favourite - For me, this is pesto pasta tier. But I think for most it’ll be chicken stew. I like feeling enveloped in a universe and this does that well. The most beautiful, artfully filmed first time I’ve seen in recent years.  Never Let Me Go - Beautiful to look at. Has some really great scenes and the performances pulled from such young actors are sublime. But I also felt this was a bit wishy washy. Didn’t know what tone it wanted so it tried to hit all of them.

Cold Pizza tier; Good, worth it. But also not worth rushing on. 

Hello Stranger - Another Phillipino covid released drama. (Doesn’t have covid as a theme though) Mico & Xavier are in the same class but aren’t friends, have to come together for a class project. It sounds pedestrian but it was done really well and Mico’s little gang of nerd friends are fab. 

My Engineer - Compared to every other thing I put on this list this is low, low quality lol. There is zero budget, a bad dub and tropes out the ass. But it makes me smile every time I’ve rewatched it. 

2gether/Still 2gether - I’m not a fan of 2gether tbh. It’s fine. I find Tine annoying. Still 2gether was much better as it was basically just the original couple solving the issues of their dumb friends. These are mostly here because its one everyone will tell you to watch. 

Why R U? - Again, a significant downturn in production quality here but that was largely thanks to covid. Very tropey. Questionable in a lot of ways but again, induces smiles and Saint & Zee have silly amounts of chemistry. 

Boys Lockdown - Love in the time of covid basically. Enjoyable. Nothing I’d rush for especially given it’s heavy heavy covid theming.

How to choose the right types of masking tape?

Masking tape is an easily removed adhesive tape used temporarily covered or fixed. Masking tapes temporarily protect areas from painting, soldering, blasting, spraying, coating, plating, and polishing while these procedures are administered to nearby surfaces. The different types of masking tape use for different application.

Types of Masking Tape’s Carrier

A single-sided tape that it’s backing is self-wound around, without release paper liner. At present, there are mainly 6 different types of carrier on the market: Crepe paper masking tape, Washi paper masking tape, PE cloth masking tape, Cloth masking tape, PVC masking tape, PET masking tape.

Crepe paper or Washi paper is extra thin backing carrier.

It’s conformable ability to create crisp paint line and without paint bleeding past the edge. This type of masking tape is usually used as Painter’s Tape. It contains light and soft carrier and water based Acrylic adhesive. So painter’s tape mainly use to masking painting walls, automotive body.

PE cloth is PE laminated flat yarns weaved cloth carrier.

It is light and soft carrier but more stretch-resistant. The flat yarns cloth easy tear by hand with linear fracture. PE cloth masking tape coating water based Acrylic adhesive. It is fairly Anti-solvent and Anti-UV, waterproof. Most of applications are masking building steel structure, bridge steel structure, granite exterior wall, ceramic tile, concrete.

Cloth mean spun rayon cloth that similar to duct tape’s carrier.

It is thick cloth backing with heavy duty Rubber adhesive. So most of Cloth masking tape similar to duct tape but adhesive free-residue. It is good tack for irregular surface such as granite exterior wall, ceramic tile, concrete.

Sandblast tape also is a heavy duty Cloth masking tape with a tough resistant cloth backing and a strong adhesive.

This abrasive blasting tapes mask components during sandblasting, shotpeening, or other coarse-media finishing process. The thick rubber adhesive and backing provides wear resistance to covered areas.

PVC film is a vinyl carrier, the backing has good conformable ability, as well as more flexible workability.

PVC masking tape is also relatively cheap. Most of PVC masking tape use to masking the metal panels, Aluminum alloy door and window frames, glass.

PET film is a Polyester carrier have high resistance temperature and clarity characteristics.

PET masking tape usually used for holding tape. It is designed for the purpose of temporary fixation. So holding tape is often used to temporarily fix certain parts of electrical appliances or office equipment during transportation. Its ease of use and non-residue characteristic makes it an excellent functional tape.

Types of Masking Tape’s Adhesive

Since masking tape’s intent is temporary, the removal needs to be residue-free. This limits the adhesive options for different types of masking tape. Most types of Masking tape for painting applications use water based Acrylic adhesive. Such as Painter’s tape and PE cloth tape, their adhesive layer is very thin and transparent. Acrylic-based adhesives create the good conformable and no bleed performance of Masking tape. It can reach their maximum adhesion almost immediately upon application, have adequate resistance, require no preparation, and have good sheer and peel strength Natural rubber adhesive mainly use to irregular surface masking. It’s thick adhesive layer have good tack. Such as cloth masking tape and Sandblast tape. Silicone adhesive have a high degree of flexibility and very high temperature resistance (600°F). It available as a heat masking application, or low temperature resistant, the masking tape will be wide application.

According to your character descriptions, David and Nani got married while Lilo was in college. Given how much they loved each other in the original series, why did it take them so long to tie the knot?

I actually do have a reason for this saved up!

The very short answer is: they were in an on-again, off-again relationship until Lilo was halfway through high school. When she started college, David and Nani's relationship got more serious; they were able to spend more time together and eventually they got engaged and then, when Lilo's last year of college started coming to a close, they married. The wedding was one of the last times the Ohana was all together before Lilo and Stitch had their big split in 2019. THE LONG ANSWER, if anyone cares...

Exposition first. According to the official Disney/Pixar Character Encyclopedia (it's called "Disney's Who's Who" and it's great and you can usually find it at Barnes and Noble, but here's proof of what I'm about to say) and a few other promotional sources, David and Nani started dating before Nani's parents died (!!!) but they couldn't continue because Nani suddenly had too much to do. It was all up to her to take care of Lilo and make ends meet. David continued to try to strike their relationship up again casually (in literally all three movies before the series, and sometimes in the series she's too busy to take him up on many offers, poor thing) but Nani has a lot on her plate and can't afford to be distracted by a boyfriend. She and David remain just good friends. They start "going out" again for about three weeks in Stitch Has a Glitch, but since that takes place around 2 years after the first movie (it's confirmed that Lilo is 7 in SHaG and 5-going-on-6 in L&S, so that's what I'm basing that timeframe off of), it's clear they weren't an item for a little while after Stitch, Jumba, and Pleakley moved in. Understandable; they were all still rebuilding the house and getting used to a new normal. Throughout Stitch Has a Glitch, David keeps trying to gain and hold Nani's attention, but she's constantly exhausted and stressed because she's still figuring out how to keep her new family together. David follows Pleakley's terrible advice during the film, and a few things the characters say imply that David and Nani are not an official couple at that time. They're just starting to go out again, and clearly, David can't nail Nani down long enough to actually go out for even a movie! Now, by the end of the film they're fine and clearly still into each other/possibly getting ready to commit to trying to date. In Stitch! the Movie, which takes place probably a few months later (because of the differences in the house), Nani goes out with David and he calls it a date, tentatively. She insists it's not a date, and says she's not "ready for a real date yet" because things are still "kinda lolo around here". She can't commit to being in an actual, real relationship with him for most of the series. He calls himself her boyfriend in Fibber, but that's the only time. Lilo refers to him as Nani's friend (in Wishy Washy she says "He's your friend! ....And he likes you!"), and though they do go out several times during the series, in episodes like HunkaHunka and Wishy Washy, it's obvious that Nani isn't treating it like a serious relationship because she's got too many things to deal with in her life. She is the breadwinner for a family of 5, the sole guardian/parental figure of her toddler sister who is always in some kind of trouble, and she's giving free room and board to an evil scientist AND an eccentric Earth nerd. One who spends way too much time/money shopping (and drinking all the lemonade she just made). It's a lot.

But David doesn't give up! He loves Nani, and they remain close and on-again-off-again dating until Lilo is old enough to look out for herself (for the most part). During Lilo's third year of high school, David and Nani finally agreed to make things as official and serious as they could, and to treat their relationship like it was going somewhere. Nani finally had time to make David a priority. David had been waiting patiently for years, totally understanding that Nani couldn't spare the time for a serious boyfriend up until that point. He's a keeper. When Lilo's third year of college came to a close, David proposed (of course), Nani accepted (of course), and they were married the year Lilo graduated college. Lilo had not graduated, but she was going to that year, and so she and Stitch (who took a quick break from the missions in space with Gantu and Reuben to attend) and the rest of the family came to the wedding that summer on the island. It was, like I said, the last time they'd all be together for a long time. So they would've tied the knot sooner if their relationship had actually been something they'd both had time to commit to, but it wasn't like that until Lilo was old enough to give Nani some breathing room when it came to responsibility.

I’m a pretty big fan of anime so I’ve watched a lot of genres of it. I know shonen is typically always the most popular and mainstream, but I’m more towards Slice of Life anime or shoujo anime. They just have a MUCH MUCH MUCH better and realistic writing than other genres. Like no offense, but I rlly judge people whenever they say a shonen anime is the best anime in history lmao like bruhhhh shut up. I was one of the minority last year which honestly wasn’t impressed by Demon Slayer cuz I noticed that most of the characters were flat (esp MC). The ending of its manga only fortified my conclusions lmao I also don’t like Bnha because deku annoyed the f out of me and it seemed so wishy washy. Considering how people are finally recognizing it’s unoriginality (literally designs basically copied off from HxH, Naruto & atla), I’m glad that I never continued watching it and my opinion of it remains the same.

I just started reading manga a few years ago but yeh I love em. They’re great to read when the anime still hasn’t caught up to it lmao one of my favs in cases like that would be Akatsuki No Yona and Kaichou Wa Maid Sama. The anime movies....... well. What can I say? They’re amazing xD They’re FAR better than anime and manga in general, simply because most standalone films are SOL genre and the animation is just beautiful. I mean, c’mon.... Your Name? That movie was legendary.

Tbh I think the whole anime culture is problematic on its own, especially since most anime romanticize abuse or sexualize actual children. The anime community generally is full of sexist misogynistic guys as well so there’s that (majority of them are into shonen or ecchi/harem). Whenever a male MC actually IS realistic and not some unrealistic always confident perverted guy, the community will bash on him for being a ‘wimp’. There’s a lot of delusional people in there. There’ll even be people saying that an action anime would’ve been better if the MC was a male instead of female smh. There’s even a female counterpart for them lmao these are the ones who usually watch shoujo anime that romanticize abuse (eg Diabolik Lovers) or stan basically any hot anime guy despite the background.

Point is, most anime that actually have realistic writing, will be rated poorly because weebs don’t like realistic shit lmao Maquia, Fairy Gone, Japan Sinks 2020 and Guilty Crown are all examples of anime that had great writing and developments, but hated across the community exactly because it was realistic and talked about real life issues. There’s actually only a few good shonen anime that are worth watching, but most SOL anime are pretty good so if you ever wanna watch anime then I suggest going into the SOL route instead lmao
