nct dream as bollywood songs
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
thought of making this after i saw this post by @yangkitties (which is so cute btw <3). praying this post finds it's way onto the dashboard of fellow bollywood - kpop enthusiasts
𐚁 lee minhyung
prem ki naiyya from apkgk - the awkward and adorable boy-next-door
saawali si raat from barfi - honestly all songs from this gem of a film should be the soundtrack for mark and his best friends to lovers trope
𐚁 huang renjun
sham from aisha - truly the embodiment of the soft boy aesthetic what can i say
sheila ki jawaani from tees maar khan - but he's also a bad bish so
𐚁 lee jeno
mast magan from 2 states - he's just the sweetest and softest, a lot like this song
ang laga de from ramleela - it's just so...uh *coughs* so *clears throat* freaking hot sensual...yeah * looks away flustered*
𐚁 lee donghyuck
illahi from yjhd - i can totally see him being bunny (the character, NOT the animal) in some other universe and i love this song so
sooraj ki baahon mein from znmd - need i explain?
matargashti from tamasha - the ranbir kapoor character to hyuck pipeline needs to be studied
𐚁 na jaemin
gulaabi from shudh desi romance - i mean the jaemin = pink logic yes. but also if you imagine him in the mood of this song- calm but somehow playful and adventurous. it makes sm sense
uff teri ada from karthik calling karthik - because uff teri ada indeed
𐚁 zhong chenle
drama queen from hasee toh phasee- sass, wit, theatrics. this song IS him.
twist from love aaj kal - unbelievably groovy. he's very cool and so is the song.
𐚁 park jisung
kahani from laal singh chaddha - i swear i'm not trying to baby him. he's a grown man ik, but his presence is so pure and innocent :(( and i love how calm this song makes me feel
dhoom again from dhoom:2 - just fits his aesthetic (plus he would obliterate the choreo)

★ Bollywood’s 100 crore streak in India: Akshay Kumar plus Shah Rukh Khan plus Ajay Devgn is equal to Salman Khan!
May 2, 2023
On Sunday, Salman Khan’s Eid 2023 release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, entered the Rs. 100 crore club at the box office in India. The film has proved to be the 16th film of Salman Khan to enter the Rs. 100 crore club at the domestic box office, making it the highest ever for an actor in India. What makes this feat even bigger is the fact that Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is the 16th consecutive Rs. 100 crore film for megastar Salman Khan.
Salman’s affair with the Rs. 100 crore club started way back in 2010 with Dabanggand since then it has been no looking back. Dabangg was followed by Ready, Bodyguard, Ek Tha Tiger, Jai Ho, Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Sultan, Tubelight, Tiger Zinda Hai, Race 3, Bharat, Dabangg 3 and now, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The historic streak will continue with Tiger 3 on Diwali making it 17 in a row for Salman Khan. A person’s stardom is often judged by what his bad films do at the box office and for Salman Khan, the number starts from Rs. 100 crore, speaking volumes about his unparalleled stardom and reach among the masses. There's a struggle for others to reach Rs. 100 crores with good films and here is Salman, whose rejected films have also done Rs. 100 crores at the domestic box office (though we hope, he doesn't take his stardom for granted and does films with better and able directors)
All his contemporaries have had the streak of 100 crore films broken last decade, but Salman Khan is standing tall like a Tiger and ready to roar with more films in the 100-crore club. With 16 back-to-back 100 crore films already, this record will stay unchallenged for years to come by, or who knows, it may just be one of those rare records to stay unchallenged for the coming few decades. None of the contemporaries from today’s time are even close to hitting 16 back-to-back 100 crore films at this point in time, in fact, everyone except for Salman has their streak of 100 crore films broken. And given the way films are being made in today’s time as also actors taking their time to do 1 film a year, this streak will remain unchallenged for at-least 20 more years, and that too subject to someone from the younger lot showing this level of consistency.
This is god-level domination at the box office by Salman Khan as he is competing with no one but himself. There’s no one even close to Salman in the list of consecutive 100 crore films. The second best on the list of consecutive films in the Rs. 100 crore club is Akshay Kumar, with 6 films in a row – Gold, 2.0, Kesari, Mission Mangal, Housefull 4, and Good Newwz. The streak however stands broken now and he will have to start the count from 0 again. It’s a neck-to-neck battle between Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn, who have a streak of delivering 5 back-to-back Rs. 100 crore films – Golmaal Again, Raid, Total Dhamaal, De De Pyaar De, and Tanhaji. However, much like Akshay, even Ajay’s streak is broken and he will have to start it from zero at this point in time to get back and challenge the consecutive 100 crore films. Shah Rukh Khan has 6 consecutive Rs. 100 crore films – Ra One, Don 2, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Chennai Express, Happy New Year and Dilwale. His streak is also broken and he is now standing at with his first Rs. 100 crore film with Pathaan, which is poised to hit 3 by the end of this year. Same for Ranveer Singh who once upon a time delivered 4 back-to-back Rs 100 crore films but now stands at zero.
Aamir Khan has a streak of 4 consecutive Rs. 100 crore films – Dhoom 3, PK, Dangal, and Thugs of Hindostan, which is now broken by Laal Singh Chaddha, followed by Hrithik Roshan, with 3 in a row for Rs. 100 crore films. Which of the aforementioned actors will break Salman Khan’s historic streak? Or will it remain an unchallenged record in the years to come by. Do let us know.

Happy 50th Birthday Hrithik Roshan: The total collection of his films is a HUGE Rs. 1908.20 crores; has been a part of 5 biggest hits of the year; Fighter is expected to be his first Rs. 400 crores plus grosser 50 : Bollywood News — Bollywood Hungama

Happy 50th Birthday Hrithik Roshan: The total collection of his films is a HUGE Rs. 1908.20 crores; has been a part of 5 biggest hits of the year; Fighter is expected to be his first Rs. 400 crores plus grosser
Hrithik Roshan, as we all know, debuted with Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai (2000). The manner in which the actor created a rage among the aam junta even before release was unprecedented. It collected Rs. 44.28 crores and was the biggest blockbuster of the year. In today’s times, these collections amount to nearly Rs. 295 crores.
For the next few years, Hrithik gave flops and average grossers, with Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) being the only super-hit. He got back into the big league with Koi Mil Gaya (2003), a rare sci-fi entertainer of Bollywood. It went on to collect Rs. 47.20 crores and was that year’s biggest hit. Going forward, Koi Mil Gaya became a part of a successful franchise. The next installment, Krrish (2006), was a blockbuster. The same year, Hrithik was seen in two films, both of which were super-successes. Dhoom 2 broke all records as it collected Rs. 81.01 crores and the actor, with his performance, redefined the definition of cool.
After a slight lull, Hrithik Roshan bounced back with Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), Agneepath (2012) and Krrish 3 (2013). Bang Bang (2014) and Kaabil (2016) were semi-hits while Super 30 (2019) was a hit. War (2019), meanwhile, was a true blockbuster and his entry scene in the film is legendary.
Tumblr media
In short, Hrithik Roshan’s box office track record has been exemplary. The total collections of all his 26 films stand at a huge Rs. 1908.20 crores. This includes 5 blockbusters, 2 super-hits, 2 semi-hits and 3 hits. He also has the feat of being a part of the 5 biggest hits of the year — Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Koi Mil Gaya, Dhoom 2 and War.
In comparison, the total of Ranveer Singh’s 17 films is Rs. 1625.01 crores. Ranbir Kapoor has worked in 21 films and the total lifetime collections amount to Rs. 2366.69 crores. His last film Animal was an all-time blockbuster, collecting Rs. 550.43 crores and that helped him cross the Rs. 2000 crores mark. Also, both these actors entered the industry a little late, when the films had started crossing the Rs. 100 crores clubs and beyond frequently.
Hrithik Roshan’s film collections will also cross the Rs. 2000 crore mark in a matter of few weeks. His next film, Fighter, will be released on January 25 and has generated tremendous hype. This is the first time he’s paired with Deepika Padukone and the chemistry is sizzling. Also, it marks Hrithik’s third collaboration with Siddharth Anand, who’s considered a hitmaker. As a result, Fighter is all set for a great opening and if all goes well, this could be the superstar’s first Rs. 400 crores plus flick. In short, it’ll be a ‘flying’ start to his 50th year!

★ EXCLUSIVE: YRF VFX head on Pathaan, Tiger 3 & more: ‘Shah Rukh Khan is insightful, Salman Khan adapted well’!
Apr 26, 2023
Over the years, Yash Raj Films have established themselves as the market leader in the Hindi Film Industry. The banner has few of the biggest IPs of Indian cinema like Dhoom, Tiger, War, Mardaani and Pathaan among others. The banner is fast expanding its wing on the VFX front too with yFX. Their last venture was the republic day release, Pathaan, which went on to become the biggest blockbuster of Hindi Cinema. The film was shot in the midst of a pandemic, which made the shooting process a challenge.
The world of VFX for Tiger 3
Next up is Tiger 3 with Salman Khan. “We have been working with Salman Khan for a long time. We have done several VFX shoots with him over the years. He had adapted and adjusted to it well enough. We know what works for him and he knows what is required. With him, it’s all about how clearly you can convey the VFX requirement. Once that’s done, the process is collaborative,” she explains. When asked to share about the visuals of Tiger 3, Sherry informs that a lot of prep work has gone into creating the third Tiger film.
“We invested a lot of time on the film and hence the process once it went on floors has become easier. We pre-visualized each and every scene of Tiger 3 and that has led to the process becoming a lot more efficient. Tiger 3 is a well-planned film with ample pre-production,” she smiles. Sherry’s most favourite scene till date is the Tiger x Pathaan crossover in Pathaan. “That’s our favourite scene of all time. It was complicated but Sidharth (Anand, director) had a very clear vision of what he wanted. It was a challenge and we did it well.”
Among the challenging scenes for yFX team was the ice-based action scene in the second half of Pathaan. “While Dubai action block and the train sequence were complex, the biggest challenge was to get the action on the ice right. Pathaan is one of the most complex films that we have done till date,” she concludes.
