𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐎𝐒 𝐎𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐈𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐒.

NUEVOS EJEMPLARES ARRIBAN A LA RESERVA.

A PARTIR DEL 6 DE ABRIL. La reserva de criaturas mágicas de Londres recibe a nuevos ejemplares con la llegada del mes. La exhibición se abrirá en presencia del más famoso magizóologo que ha conocido nuestra comunidad, Newt Scamander. Entrada libre. TÍTULO PARA STARTERS: RESERVA.

ooc: Evento público. La reserva de criaturas mágicas de Londres se encarga de mantener en ambientes adecuados a criaturas mágicas víctimas del tráfico de criaturas o de maltrato. Cuentan con magizóologos especialistas y está abierta al público los fines de semana. Se puede interactuar con algunas criaturas, sin embargo existen otras que, al ser tan peligrosas o requerir cuidados especiales, se mantienen apartadas de los asistentes.

CONCIERTO GRATUTITO EN HOGSMEADE.

13 DE ABRIL. La promesa de la música mágica, Nina Macfusty, se presentará gratuitamente en el pueblo mágico. Con sólo diecinueve años, su carrera la ha llevado al número uno en la radio mágica. Entrada libre. TÍTULO PARA STARTERS: CONCIERTO.

ooc: Evento público.

TEMPORADA DE QUIDDITCH.

A PARTIR DEL 1 DE ABRIL. Con el partido inicial entre los Tornados de Tutshill y las Avispas de Wimbourne, la comunidad mágica se prepara para meses de reñidos partidos. A continuación dejamos los respectivos horarios y días del primer periodo. Adquiere tus boletos en las taquillas de los estadios. TÍTULO PARA STARTERS: QUIDDITCH.

ooc: Evento público. Además de los partidos, podrán encontrar reuniones en cafeterías y restaurantes donde se escucharán los encuentros para aquelles que no puedan asistir, ferias para los fanáticos, clases de Quidditch para los más pequeños, e incluso descuentos en tiendas como Broomstix y otras dedicadas al deporte.

FIESTA POR EL INICIO DE TEMPORADA.

20 DE ABRIL. Organizada por Sturgis Podmore y Nicholas MacMillan, se celebrará el inicio de la temporada después del partido entre los Montrose Magpies y las Arpías de Holyhead. TÍTULO PARA STARTERS: FIESTA.

ooc: Evento público. Asistirán jugadores de todos los equipos. Finalizará a las 19:00 p.m. dado el toque de queda.

BAILE DE SOCIEDAD.

6 DE ABRIL. Llegadas las vacaciones de pascua, la comunidad purista auspicia su baile anual para la presentación de nuevos magos y brujas. La invitación se extenderá de manera privada. TÍTULO PARA STARTERS: BAILE.

ooc: Evento para personajes puristas. En el baile de sociedad se "presentan" a los magos y brujas que han cumplido recientemente diecisiete años, la mayoría de edad en el mundo mágico, con el fin, más que nada, de encontrarles pareja entre los prospectos de las familias. El evento se realizará en la Mansión Malfoy.

EXHIBICIÓN DE ARTEFACTOS EN EL PALACIO DE ELTHAM.

27 DE ABRIL. Borgin y Burkes presenta su exclusiva colección de artefactos encantados, un evento de caridad para apoyar a San Mungo. Se contará con recepción y apertura a los jardines del lugar donde podrán encontrar música y aperitivos. TÍTULO PARA STARTERS: PALACIO.

ooc: Evento para personajes puristas. Borgin y Burkes se especializa en artefactos de magia oscura, algunos capaces de ser adquiridos. Debido a la naturaleza del evento, no se permitirá la entrada con menores.

En la elecciones celebradas hoy en Ecuador, el mandatario Rafael Correa logra la mayoría absoluta a la presidencia y también a la Asamblea legislativa con el 60 % de los votos. Es la tercera vez consecutiva que logra ser presidente. Sobre su persona hay luces y sombras. Entre sus logros se cuentan la lucha contra la pobreza, el crecimiento económico o la mejora de la sanidad y la educación. Entre sus sombras están la corrupción y la amenaza a las libertades con una polémica Ley de Comunicación. (Hace 11 años)

En Libia, en el denominado Día de la Ira, al menos 24 personas resultan muertas durante la represión de las manifestaciones convocadas por la oposición que congregan a miles de libios en las calles reclamando el fin del régimen de Muamar el Gadafi, el dictador más antiguo de África. En los próximos días la represión se endurecerá y la cifra de muertos aumentará alarmantemente. (Hace 13 años)

La mecha de la revolución continúa incendiando el mundo árabe y el Gobierno de Bahrain decreta el estado de emergencia en todo el país en un intento de aplacar la revuelta de la comunidad chií que desde hace cuatro días reclama en la calle reformas democráticas, después de que esta noche la policía y el Ejército desalojaran a sangre y fuego a miles de manifestantes, muchos de ellos mujeres y niños, acampados en la plaza de la Perla, en el centro de Manama, la capital del emirato. Al menos 4 manifestantes han muerto y más de 300 han resultado heridos. (Hace 13 años)

A las tres de la tarde, nace un nuevo Estado: Kosovo. Lo hace con el favor de Estados Unidos y la Unión Europea, sus principales patrocinadores, y la oposición total de Rusia y Serbia. Esta última se siente injustamente amputada de un territorio que considera la cuna de su identidad nacional y, junto con Rusia, entiende totalmente ilegal la secesión. Kosovo deberá adoptar las leyes necesarias para aplicar el plan del enviado especial de la ONU, el finlandés Marti Ahtisaari, sobre el que se ha logrado el consenso interno en la UE y en él se hace hincapié especial en la protección de las minorías, sobre todo de los serbios. En Asunción, capital de Paraguay, tiene lugar la llamada "revolución de febrero" que logra la dimisión del presidente Eusebio Ayala. Los revolucionarios nombran al general Rafael Franco, que se encuentra en el exilio por cuestiones políticas, que asume el poder junto a trabajadores, estudiantes e intelectuales, formando un gobierno de tendencia socialista que gobernará hasta el 13 de agosto de 1937, fecha en que Rafael se verá de nuevo obligado a partir al exilio. En Barcelona, España, se celebra una huelga general que paraliza la ciudad, convocada por los anarquistas en solidaridad con los obreros metalúrgicos, en huelga desde hace 2 meses. This was occasion enough for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), an agglomeration of ‘The Fin, Fur, and Feather Folk’ and ‘The Plumage League’, to bestir itself, and to enter public life for the first time in opposition to the idea.

Organisations like these fill a niche in the English mind. The RSPB is one. So is the National Trust, the Church of England, the Women’s Institute and the Heritage Railway Association. They are mustily Rotarian. They are endearingly local. Their membership is charmingly old; their remit is charmingly narrow. They usually carry the stamp of royal patent, with all that that entails. They are cute. They speak to a certain idea of England that is, not quite Victorian, but certainly a kind of midcentury Christopher Robinesque. They are – for some reason – inextricably bound up with the person of Paddington Bear, and with Harold Macmillan.

Most of these bodies have now clashed with the current administration, over various issues. This hasn’t passed without comment. But here’s the strange thing about these rows. They are never about the actual substance of disagreement. Rather, it’s about the fact that these bouts are occurring in the first place. They are said to augur ill for the future of British society. We know that things are in dire straits, apparently, when even the guild of bird watchers feels compelled to enter upon political life. Things have gotten so bad that an ancient Middle England has been shaken from its repose, and is, in extremis, finally speaking up. Père Lachaise Cemetery

This site had been bought by the city of Paris in 1682. It receives it name from a Jesuit Pere Francois de la Chaise, who had lived on the site. The site had been established as a cemetery by Napoleon. "Every citizen has the right to be buried regardless of race or religion". (Napoleon) This statement set the mindset of what the people felt in this time. A belief that people should have the same respectful burial. It had been designed with the neoclassical architecture, with the English garden style in mind. The cemetery had not been blessed in the since of the catholic belief. As well as the distance had created a combination of few funerals in its time. But when the transfer burial of Jean de La Fontaine and Moliere as well as the following transfer of Pierre Abelard and Heloise d’ Argenteuil led to the popularity of funerals in this site to sky rocket. Generating a since of lovers find burial here or bereft search for a lover to be buried with. This form of marketing had the masses clamored to try and be buried in this now famous cemetery. Yet the Cemetery would not be just known forever as the cemetery for lovers. During the bloody week near the end of the war between the army and Paris Commune. Led to the death of 147 Communards after the French Army quickly tried, in military court, the prisoners and executed them.

Pairing: Enoch O'Connor X reader.

Fandom:Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children

Warning: none.

Author's note: Enoch's looks and age from movie but other children's ages are the same as book. Also this is my first time writing an imagine so it maybe crappy I just need to get used to writing in second person. (Has been posted on my wattpad book too)

Plot: You and Enoch are hanging out but you want to go outside and meet Jacob. Needless to say Enoch doesn't like the idea, and doesn't want you too, been as you only speak to him.

Word count: 746

You sat in Enoch's bedroom as he tinkered with his dolls, replacing their limbs with other objects such as claws or scissors, putting animals hearts in them. You watched him concentrate, his tongue sticking out slightly. You could hear the other children messing around in the garden, playing with the new boy Jacob Portman. Enoch already disliked the boy and didn't let him near you. You know he means well but at the same time you do think it would be nice to meet the boy properly, even though not much of a conversation would come out of it.

You hardly speak. The only person you uttered words to was Enoch, not even Miss Peregrine gets speech out of you. Anything you have to say, you whisper to Enoch and he tells the person. That means you would never get to speak to Jacob, not that you minded. You could see where Enoch was coming from, Jacob probably only stays because of Emma. The home didn't need Emma's heart breaking for a Portman once again. Years ago she fell in love with Jacob's grandpa, Abe, he left, and left her heart broken in the process. There was no need for that to happen again.

"Pass me the scissors." Enoch muttered. You obliged and handed him the utensils. He didn't thank you at all, nor say please. You were used to it, Enoch isn't the kindest of people but he is always nicer to you.

He snipped the little bit of thread that he was  using to sew a piece of cloth together on a doll to keep the heart in place and he then sat back in his seat. "Come here." He said and motioned for you to come closer. You stood up brushing down your skirt and walked closer to your best friend. "Are you ready?" He asked.

You nodded your head and he pulled you onto his lap. He clicked his fingers and soon the two dolls on the table stood up and began to fight. "Enoch? Can we go outside?"

"You can, I don't want to." He replied staring intently over your shoulder and at the dolls. "Ugh, I wanted the other one to win!"

"Enoch please?"

"Why do you want to go outside?" He asked slightly annoyed as he grumbled.

"To meet Jacob and it's warm."You said quietly.

"It's warm in here." He replied nonchalantly.

"Yeah but it's sunny and I want to meet Jacob."

"Go and meet Jacob then! I don't care." He spat. You stood up and stared at him, he has never spat at you, the others yes, but you no. "Go on then." He pointed at the door whilst returning his gaze back to his dolls.

You shook your head and ran from the room, all the way downstairs and into the garden your charki green dress flowing behind you. When in the garden you spotted Horace leaning against the bush shaped into an elephant by Fiona. You trudged over to him and tapped his shoulder. "Good day, (Y/N). That colour really suits you." He motioned to your dress. You sent him an appreciative smile and look that read 'can I join you?'. He nodded his head and you lowered yourself next to him, watching Hugh and Millard playing ball.

Not long after Emma came over with Jacob. "Jacob this is (Y/N) and Horace."

"Hello." He greeted awkwardly.

"Hello, splendid shirt by the way." Horace replied. You smiled at him and he looked to Emma puzzled.

"She only speaks to Enoch." Emma replied.

"Oh."

"Why don't you go and meet Bronwyn?" Emma spoke after a period of silence, Jacob nodded and waved goodbye to you and Horace. Horace went back to his book that he was writing in whilst you gazed around the garden until you glanced up to Enoch's window. There he stood staring down at you, his jaw clenched. When he noticed you looking he backed off from the window.

Sighing you waved goodbye to Horace and made your way back to Enoch's room. You entered without knocking, as usual, he was stood up his arms folded across his chest as if he was expecting you. "Like Jacob do you?" He asked.

"He seems alright." You shrugged your voice barely a whisper.

"Is he now your best friend?" You shook your head walking slowly closer to him. "Are you going to speak to him now?"

You shook your head again. "Only you." You wrapped your arms around him. "Only you Enoch."
