At present, we have definitive evidence of two of the Twelve's names as Ancients: Althyk (Alkaios) and Nymeia (Maira). They appear in the quest chain that starts with "An Expected Guest." If you finish this quest chain, Althyk and Nymeia will comment on recognizing your Warrior of Light.

My favorite cutscene in A Realm Reborn is the one where Gaius narrates the fall of the Agrius. Because there's just so much disparity between what he's saying and what's happening onscreen. He's out here really acting like he would have definitely conquered Eorzea, if it wasn't for a teeny tiny unforeseeable problem, meanwhile Midgardsormr fully just opens his mouth and one-shots the flagship. Incredible. Fifteen years later and Gaius's salt level is still off the charts. Midgardsormr genuinely left this man with his chakras closed and his ass uneaten. Iconic work.

-skip this paragraph if you dont care about FFXIV lingo- since before the promise of data center travel, i made this character in a different data center than my main to be able to play with a group of friends that played in aether rather than in crystal, so i made this character to play as monk cus monk was very dope, i liked how it played in shadowbringers, and i LOVE it in endwalker, specially the thunderclap button, i press it sometimes just cus i can moving along enemies cus i love the animation.

Re-doing the Heavensward Alchemist quests, and it turns out that the canonical color of the WoL's Aether is blue. Obviously everyone can make their own headcanons and whatever, but I find it interesting that they're straight up like "nope you're blue." Also, this does mean that the color of a Convocation crystal =/= the color of a soul.

I am sorta sad they didn't do a Warrior of Light thing going like, "Anyone of you little mad people could be the fated Warrior of Light, so there's a bunch of you little WoLs now, have fun" for the MSQ just generally. I love mmo lore like that, but I guess now we're just summoning AU OCs every time we do a Trial or Raid.
