finished rewatching coven, so thoughts

still my favorite ahs season, though i only ever watched the first four bc i had no reason to watch once jessica lange left. i feel like it always got a neglected step-child reputation compared to the others J;ajs;dklfjk

obligatory mention that wow they did not handle certain themes all that well but i'm also not surprised

anyway misty/cordelia supremacy. i was still hoping misty would survive that even though i know what happens.

zoe lowkey had no personality besides wanting to bone kyle, rip girl

MYRTLE SNOW IS SO FUN i remembered really liking her and it holds up. she's living in a supernatural mean girls world.

i remember not liking the axeman thing much because like... this is my All Girls Season don't do this to me. but i didn't hate it this time around. at least the guys in this season were pretty much there to be tools.

still fucking creepy that he's been watching over fiona since she joined the academy but i don't expect healthy relationships from this show lol, and really i think that gave him the edge he needed of understanding her that no one else really had (even though he still failed at that)

it did kinda come in between my fun fiona and marie moments though! i forgot they ended up working together in such fun ways, and i would've enjoyed those moments more without him i think.

i did appreciate spalding's undying loyalty for fiona. also a creepy dude but cutting out your own tongue to keep your fixation safe is crazy enough to be intriguing to me.

CORDELIA AND FIONA'S WHOLE THING. OUGH. cannot articulate all that i am rotating in my head rn.

likewise, cordelia and myrtle's whole thing <3 although i'm sure there's a small edge for myrtle of finally getting to do something better than fiona (ie. mothering her daughter) she did seem to care about her and have faith in her so much

i remembered the twist of cordelia being the supreme and it still hits hard, that her mom has suppressed her her entire life so much that she never even considered herself as having that potential

rip nan you deserved better

rip delphine you deserved what you got. i have complicated feelings about her bc she did come off as Just A Silly Funny Little Guy sometimes and i wanted to like her friendship with queenie but... yeah. end of the day she's still vile. some people can't change.

i know marie killed innocent babies but i wanted to see her keep girlbossing :/

tbh i wish marie and fiona got to go to hell together. that would've been so yuri.

uhhh what else i feel like the witch hunter thing went nowhere. though i suppose cordelia exposing witchcraft to the world helped fight against it, but on the other hand i feel like it almost put them more at risk? it's a nice idealistic ending i guess

i also do like that the way she talked about witches at the very end mirrored queer discrimination......... here's how cordelia/misty can still win-

I have decided to keep Tumblr updated as I re-watch... The Adventures of Puss in Boots! A glorious return to a show that cemented itself as the most controversial love in my history of loved media. Do I even love it? I'm pretty sure I skipped an entire season and a half in the middle because none of the episodes looked interesting! The show's last-second ending is permanently marked in my mind as the worst ending ever written! So we shall see. I'll be tagging these posts with "#rrays taopib thoughts" from here on out, so my followers can block it in advance lol.

As of right now, I've gotten through the first 3 episodes. I'll go over them:

S1E1 - Great start, I think one of the most memorable running gags of the whole show for me was always Raúl from the Thieves Market. There have got to be countless fics I've written that have a Raúl in it SPECIFICALLY reffing him.

Also, nobody recognizing the name Puss in Boots really cements this happening in his 1st/early 2nd life. He's not yet the legend, but he's getting there.

After the Thieves Market, the rest of this episode is why every time I've tried rewatching it in the past, I never made it last episode 1. It's just... not very good. Toby is THE most annoying character ever created. The animation really, really takes some time adjusting (it is. Bad.). The jokes aren't really funny.

There were a few good things, though. Dulcinea roasting Puss to kingdom come, Puss realizing he just fucking Doomed The Town ("...souvenir?"), and the fight scene is okay.

S1E2 - Dude the Sphinx is awesome, I LOVE her. An absolute queen. Also, it made me soft when Puss told Dulcinea about how his mama used to make those crunchy almond candies for him and the other orphans, how he now wants to make them for the kids here. And Dulcinea is like "bro you SUCK at baking wtf are you talkin bout" and yet he literally makes them and they're AMAZING?? I'm emotional everyone.

I also forgot that the fucking jail is in the bar... Another incredible running bit of the show.

The quality of humor also immediately rose in this episode from the first one. Good to see! Puss sucks at riddles and also cannot catch a fucking break <3

S1E3 - This episode would've been a lot better if Toby wasn't the main focus, but if it weren't for that, it'd be the best one so far! Puss is acting his usual, arrogant, "I work alone" self. He also gets Fucking Drunk at one point, so it's great.

"She has lots of rules, like we're not allowed to ask why she's crying!" paraphrasing but HOLY FUCK that made me doubletake. Humor is on the next level, let's hope it stays that way. Same point, Puss putting up missing posters in the same spot and me thinking, "man do the animators just not want to do a wide shot or smth?" but no, wide shot shows that he has to put them in the same section of wall now because Every Other Surface is Covered With Them.

Anyways, that's it for now! Might watch some more tomorrow while I finish my pib:tlw traditional piece :)

Tian Guan Ci Fu/tgcf (book series, donghua) - I stumbled upon this randomly back in 2021 through its brand new donghua and I've loved it ever since. I adore the characters and the plot is both extremely complex and absolutely wild. it's roughly 750,000 words but I was able to read it in a week despite having school because I was so invested in it!

Moriarty the Patriot/mtp (manga, anime)- I think this is funny bc I tried watching bbc sherlock once and did NOT like it, so I just thought I wasn't into the sherlock holmes stuff. WRONG! I just had to discover this. I call this the "best sherlock holmes adaptation" for a reason (check my current pinned post, you'll find many reasons why I love mtp; I don't want to sound like a broken record so I don't plan to repeat them). I can't wait for when (or if) the manga comes out of its break/hiatus

Good Omens (book, show) - both the book and the miniseries/show are so near and dear to my heart. I always have a soft spot for watching supernatural entities fall in love (with each other and) the world around them. also, it's funny as hell

Promare (movie) - goooood I love Promare it's so neat; love the colors and the shapes and the plot is fun despite its simplicity. I could rewatch this movie every day for a month straight and not get tired of it

Arc of a Scythe trilogy (book series) - this is not something I've talked about a love, but this is one of my favorite book series! found it back around the same time I did tgcf; it's fucking insane I loooove the worldbuilding and the main cast, and by the second book every other page was like a plot twist gutting me in the best way possible; it's made me ponder about life and death on more than one occasion too

Matched trilogy (book series) - I started reading this in either 5th/6th grade but didn't really get it so I kinda forgot about it until around 2021-2022 (what? I actually had time to READ that year!) and managed to reread it and it was like a third eye opened. I really enjoyed the mystery unfolding in the trilogy! it's pretty cool imo, even tho I think (?) it was meant for teenagers to read

Not So Shoujo Love Story (webcomic) - this webcomic is so fucking funny AND it's wlw! I've been a fan for years it's so good

Bee and Puppycat/Bee and Puppycat: Lazy in Space (show) - a comfort show of mine (one of many); I'm in love with the atmosphere of the show and how awkwardly real the dialogue tends to be (plus I've been slowly rewatching it with my gf with is always a plus <3); I love both the og and its "reboot" equally, and would recommend people watch both

Snow White with the Red Hair (anime) - I haven't read the manga for this one, but I've seen the anime and it's another comfort show of mine. It's so sweet and cozy and the entire cast is lovable; even the "bad guy" in the first season is someone you grow to root for by the end of the second season. it's great!

Supernatural (show) - even tho I haven't finished the show and idk when/if I ever will, I still consider it a favorite media of mine. not bc I think it's great (it's good in most places, lacking in other), but bc I pretty much grew up with it. I have a core memory of watching the first handful of episodes when I was younger with my dad on the couch with the first time and being hooked on this strange show about supernatural creatures (I was that kid that enjoyed the supernatural! I read ghost story books, I binged every Goosebumps book I could get my hands on in fourth grade, I had a creepypasta phase, etc); even now in 2024 I've been sitting down with my dad to rewatch it with him before I go back to my college dorm and start back up classes. it's less so one of my favorite medias because I think it's good but because I associate it with my family <3

so... i can't lie. there are a few races this season that just didn't stick around in my mind like many others, and this is the first one i unfortuntately don't have many personal memories with, except one or two. however, rewatching the race and quali highlights: this was NOT a boring race as many people say it is‼️‼️‼️ not the best race of the season by far, BUT, george russell saves the day by trying to be insane 😁😁😁💥💥 and if i dig deep enough, i will find some memories, rest assured!

this race week was the first one i watched while not being in uni 💕💕💕 i mean, i'm still enrolled, but summer break BABEY 🌞🌞🌞😁😁😁✨✨✨ which was incredibly perfect and fun!! i think i vaguely remember being quite hungover while watching this race... which LMAO of course i was. i was practically always tipsy during may-june (NOT in a toxic way in a very girl slay way actually 🍷🍷🍎🍎🌞🌞🌞👍👍👍) so that's good‼️‼️🥰🥰 i was also very very into fic-writing back then, i wrote my infamous p19 fic in this very race weekend (jeez i wonder why 😵😵😵😵💥💥💥)

all in all not a race i'd go back to to watch often, but with it being one of max's amazing grand slams, and with the mercs bringing some entertainment (though i am ALWAYS entertained enough by watching max's gap grow), it's definetely one i enjoyed revisiting 🌷🌷🌷 i feel like this race also represents me getting into the flow of race weekends, if that makes sense!! the novelty had worn off, the love had (and has) not 🥰🥰🥰💕💕💕 that's how i know this is REALLY special 🥺🥺🥺

- didn’t notice ‘teddy stillwell’ on my first watch, his name drop at the adoption center for super kids made me pause the show & stare at the wall.

- homelander & starlight’s banter is so much funnier on rewatch, when homie introduces himself to alex with that cum-drunk line & starlight just looks at alex like ‘ignore him pls’ 😭

- butcher’s temp v nightmare(?), homelander shows up in his dreams

- butcher’s angst 🥲 him ready to give it all up, sounding so vulnerable towards hughie over the phone, & then hughie dropping the ball that neuman was the headpopper & reeling butcher back in. lmaooo i remember screaming ‘hughie stop’ so loud

- “she million dollar baby’d herself” ashley was so funny this ep, she was all over the place. she’s probably going to have a stroke next season if she doesn’t try to get pregnant

OKAY I AM FINISHED BOB'S BURGERS!!!! or im almost finished i have to rewatch a few of the latest episodes but i have watched every episode at this point :) so yayy here is a list of my favorite episodes

obviously the christmas episode from season 13 is the sweetest most adorable and emotional episode in the show <3 louise's poem and gene's music sound amazing together its the most heartwarming episode of the show

the episode where they visit bob's mom's grave and the episode where they visit bob's dad at christmas are both great bcuz i love family backstory!!!

the robbery episode where mickey is introduced is absolutely hilarious and probably the funniest ep of the entire show, or at least top 5

season four finale is very exciting and fun i rewatched it today and its a great prequel to the movie tbh

i loved the water balloon fight episode FJDMSSMSJSJJS its so funny 2 me that mr fischoeder's place was just fighting with water balloons, i love that its a battle royale hunger games kinda story and gene and louise just leaving the competition bcuz they want to play in felix's treehouse is hilarious and something that i would have done as a kid, also its a funny episode and the moment with bob and mr fischoeder was sweet

the episode where gene is home alone bcuz they forgot him is an interesting look into his mind and how he processes things and new situations, also very silly subplots

the episode where gene and louise are home by themselves bcuz tina is in detention is great, its an interesting look into their relationship and how gene doesn't exactly act like a big brother and isn't treated like one but he still loves his sisters, and also him trying and failing to be responsible LOL

bob actually was a cute episode that i watched bcuz i thought the title was so funny bcuz why would they parody that movie, but its actually adorable and i love the ending of this episode :) im not usually into romance-focused episodes but the ending to this was just so sweet and louise's thing with rudy was great

the subplot with gene and bob plumbing is honestly one of my favorites in the entire show idk how to explain why, and i absolutely adore the ending song to that episode its so passionate and so obviously full of love and affection for each other its so sweet <3 the main storyline is also interesting

that subplot where bob is annoyed by linda kicking him while they're asleep so he moves into the basement, but then linda comes down to visit and he acts like a teenager who has a girl coming over and he wants to impress her LOL and them trying to sleep in that tiny bed before realizing they should probably just go back upstairs, it really shows how much they love each other and WHY their relationship works and that they choose to be together again and again

the episode where the kids burn down the restaurant and try to make it up to their parents is great, i love how bob and linda try so hard to be understanding and gentle and how it ends with bob telling his kids that he loves them and that they're the best ever and he could never hate them its just such a healthy example of parenting and the relationship between them and the kids FJDMDMSJSJSM

topsy was a fun episode and also the musical number was so good, the episode where bob gets stuck to the toilet was also very fun and i liked the music in that episode :D that thanksgiving episode where bob keeps putting the turkey in the toilet, and the episode where he carries gayle through the show and home for thanksgiving. the ending gets to me idk, and the mini golfing thanksgiving episode from season 13 is great i love episodes that focus on the relationship between the kids and how much they all love each other!!!! also the episode where they pretend to be mr fischoeders family, and basically any episode with him tbh

the big fish episode where tina wants to be a good mentor and big fish and at the end louise and gene tell her that she's a great big sister to THEM and that they love her, and if other people can't see how amazing she is thats on them. it makes me so emotional for some reason!! sweetest episode ever

the ending of that episode where they do the time capsule thing and they're all sitting together outside the concert and sing that song about how they'll be together when they're older, i know it probably wasn't supposed to be mean anything serious but something about it really gets 2 me and emphasizes the relationship between the kids and how they're going to grow up together

gene cheerleading episode was great, and i liked the season 13 episode were linda volunteers at their school And also the episode where linda gets a job at a grocery store its very silly

also not an episode but i remember a scene where linda like spills her wine and she tries to soak it up with a shirt so she can drink it?? and bob just laughs and says i love you and it sounds so genuine, i dont remember what episode that was but its just sweet how much he genuinely adores her. also that moment in early season 1 where linda is singing and even though bob is annoyed he just starts laughing bcuz he loves her so much

a lot of the early episodes were funny and i like the handdrawn animation style a lot more its very expressive :0 the episode with the trans sex workers is weird but also fun, and i love the relationship between the family and the one-eyed snakes

the christmas episode from season eight?? that was extra long was good i liked watching that episode, the music was great and i loved the giant party with like 500+ queer people Where did they come from

the episode where bob takes gene to that laser rock-and-roll show is a classic, and the season 12 episode where louise asks if she isnt being a girl in the right way. also the sleepover episode with louise and jessica

i also liked the lice episode for some reason LOL

random things i like abt bob's burgers that aren't related to a specific episode:

bob hates jimmy pesto but by like season 2 he accepts that all his kids are just going to be friends with jimmy jr and andy and ollie and he's okay with that and supports their weird friendship, it would be so annoying if he was constantly trying to sabotage the friendship between these kids who have nothing to do with their feud but he and jimmy pesto are like Whatever its fine they're friends :) also specifically that parade episode where jimmy jr was forced to attack tina and at the end they apologize and theyre dancing together it was cute

bob gets that weird horse tattoo for tina and throughout the rest of the show, whenever he's animated with his shirt off and his back visible he still has the tattoo!!! including in the weird bean stock fairytale louise was telling where he was a giant and he never had kids, he still has that tattoo <3 its so adorable to me he loves her so much

everywhere related to mr fischoeder is so fucked up i love him 10/10 best character in animation

Once Upon a Time season 4A thoughts

I’m rewatching OUAT and I wanted to share some of my opinions on each season!

- Funny story about this season, back in the day when I was watching OUAT for the first time, me and my dad watched it on netflix, and when we finished season 3, season 4 wasn’t on netflix yet, so we bought a box set and then a week later (no joke) it was put on netflix lol

- I mean marian is a little bit right (even though I don’t like her)

- I feel like Regina’s redemption was a bit fast, and her only motivation for being good is Henry (not her having actual remorse for her actions)

I liked this season more than I remembered liking it! The beginning felt a little slow, but it got really good towards the end. I like Ingrid and I think she is the best ‘misunderstood’ villain in the whole show. Her sacrifice was so sad but such a payoff! I’m just not a fan of the Marian plot and Rumple being evil for the sake of it (he didn’t really have a strong motivation for his actions imo)

Act A Fool aka Tomb Fast Tomb Furious

This is the Ludacris song from the Fast & Furious 2 soundtrack, which for so many reasons needs to be a DMBJ vid. Ludacris is terrible to vid though (his songs are so! fucking! long! and it's hip hop which I don't know how to cut without using very short clips), and while watching the vid is fun (I have about 1:30 of it), making it is sadly a little boring bc very repetitive. I have vague hopes of finishing this but it will still be a while.

This is just an idea, I haven't started it yet, and it may be a bit too one-note, but I think it would be hilarious to make a Xiaoge vs. Tomb Critters vid to this song. (You can see a theme emerging here; most of my vid ideas are 'lol wouldn't it be funny').

Heihua! My struggle here is that most Heihua footage is in UN and UN are not my favorite Heihuas (I like LT2 Xiao Hua and Sha Hai Hei Xiazi), so I'd want to use mostly the ones I like best, but that's much more difficult than just using UN. I have this vid all mapped out in my head though.

Not DMBJ! This one is an idea for Nirvana in Fire I've had. I don't know if you've seen the show (if you haven't, WATCH IT NOW), but there's a lot of older generations advising (or screwing over) younger generations, so this song fits. The reason I haven't gotten anywhere with this yet is that Nirvana in Fire is the antithesis of the kind of show I like to vid -- it's very static and has little movement, and the sets all look very similar, so anytime I start clipping it, I want to throw myself into the sea after ten minutes.

World's Smallest Violin

Also not DMBJ! Except it's a little bit DMBJ. This song is all about a guy who knows he's a mess but doesn't have any real problems compared to the people he's comparing himself to. My grand idea here is to make the central narrator Reboot Wu Xie (and other Zhu Yilong characters who create most of their problems themselves) and make all the people the song's narrator is comparing himself to other Zhu Yilong characters who have real problems (like Lin Nansheng from Rebel, for example). It's very funny in my head, there's lots of Zhu Yilong crying; my issue is that I'd have to clip all of Zhu Yilong's considerable filmography and ... I just don't have the patience D: I am still holding out hope I'll do it one day, though!

Edit: Forgot to say! I have a Kinnporsche shitpost vid coming out this weekend during fanworks. No details beyond that because it’s a premiere but that’s definitely going to be posted within the next ten days!

Haha I'm sorry I had to inform you about the back covers not matching. It is what it is but I'm also so excited to see some of the other photos. I think there is another one where she is holding an ice cream cone too, and I've seen one where she is wearing the white shirt from the pink or blue vinyl. I love that picture so much! But ya I actually connect with Rep a lot. I think that was my favorite album before Folklore cuz I love all the songs on it. But I never listen to an album if the rerecording hasnt come out...only a few songs. I made an exception for the concert when all the songs were on shuffle and rep was the only CD in my car. But usually I don't like to..so I won't know how to compare it..not that I would anyway. I did listen to 1989 before Midnights came out though cuz I wanted to hear most of her other albums. I also love Red and those would probably be my top 3. What about you? What would be some of your top albums or top songs? I probably have a good or solid top 5 I think. I know..my predictions are probably way off but that also makes it fun. I don't have many other predictions cuz I feel like it's similar to something else we already have on the album, and I don't really think there will be a ballad type song either but I'm happy to be wrong. Every vault has given me at least one or two songs i absolutely love though so I just hope that's still true and it probably will be! It is very hard for me to keep track of every show I've seen so I can't imagine how it is for you. I totally agree about the atmosphere of some shows..Rent was like that. I totally recommend the movie or cast recording though cuz I just love some of the songs a lot. But it is rock music so you might not like it as much. But if you like Tick Tick Boom, I would at least listen to it. I would probably feel the same about Newsies too cuz it seems like such a fun show. I did see Aladdin and it was fun to see a Disney show but I'm sure Newsies would still be different. There's also something so fun about seeing a show you know so well! I haven't seen a show more than once and I would really like to someday. Unless you count school shows that I was a part of in elementary school haha. But ya I can imagine..that's the point of theater really is that every show is different and each one can be special. Funny story..my mom didn't know what a thespian was the other day so I had to explain it to her..even when I said theater she thought I meant movie theater lol.

So..I actually haven't finished Theater Camp yet. That's another reason I waited to reply to but I didn't want to keep you waiting any longer! I waited to watch it with my sister and it just didn't work out. I put it on last night and ended up falling asleep. I woke up like an hour later and tried to rewatch it but fell asleep again! This is shocking to me cuz I was so excited to watch it and I'm usually never tired! But it was also 3AM. I've just been really drained lately I guess and that could be why I never replied. I've been sleeping more and sometimes that makes me more tired than staying up late. Midnight is usually afternoon for me lol. I am definitely going to watch it tonight though but I'm glad you liked it! The little bit I did watch I enjoyed and I know it's my kind of movie. I am also going to finish Some Mistakes were Made by the end of this week! This will actually be my first fully finished book I started of the year. Sorry it's so late but I think I liked it mostly. why didn't they ask evans is a miniseries that my friend jamie loves!! and i was very intrigued by it and watched the first episode many many months ago, and finally got around to watching the rest of it over the weekend! it's based off of the agatha christie book of the same title (which i haven't read, but want to)! heartstopper was very cute, and so lovely to watch while i was feeling poorly. and the music in heartstopper is phenomenal! i hope you like the bear; i can't wait to hear your thoughts when you get around to it :)

glo rewatches soy luna 2

I finally finished Season 2 and I enjoyed it better this time around because the first time it wasn’t posted on Disney+ so I had to use really bad subtitles so I kinda had a hard time following along, which wasn’t enjoyable for me so i’m really happy I got to rewatch it because this was the season that was a huge blur for me. I knew Season 1 and 3 really well but not 2, in terms of storyline-wise.

Anyways, I’ll just share my thoughts for this season:

Lutteo/Matteo got really toxic this season especially at the end, which was so frustrating and sad because in the middle of the season they were doing so well

Lutteo is a really funny but angsty ship… it’s a weird combination but it works

I love the way Lutteo teases/flirts with each other… they also do a little bit of role play lol

Every time Matteo or Ámbar start regressing as a character i’m like WHYYYY YOU WERE DOING SO WELL 😭

Season 2 really showed how lonely and miserable Ámbar really was… and we saw a glimpse of her mental health with her constantly talking to herself in the mirror

I only saw Ámbar genuinely happy around Simón and when he left her, she turned really dark

It’s very little but I LOVE seeing the genuine moments between Luna and Ámbar when she’s not obsessed with sabotaging her

I totally forgot about the Vidia cameras… I wasn’t a big fan of that storyline because there were constant invasions of privacy

I loved how this season we got to see Nico’s loft so we get a lot of great Roller Band brotherhood bonding moments.

Jazmín is so annoying constantly shoving a camera in your face. She represents all those annoying paps and youtubers

I’ve never seen a character with higher morals than Simón JFC. He doesn’t do anything wrong.

Jim never trusted Nico. I hated when they were together because she was constantly obsessed and insecure with him. I was so relieved when they decided to just stay friends

I forgot how the whole Eva/Ada thing completely ruined Pedro/Nico’s friendship… things got super violent that’s what you call a real telenovela

I remember how much I hated Juliana at first but I love her by the end. She’s definitely a better coach than Tamara because she speaks from a lot of experience

The whole Underwheels storyline bored me to DEATH. Fer was embarrassing and annoying thinking Matteo would ever look at another girl other than Luna

I never liked Benicio. I wish he didn’t become a main in Season 3 UGH

I didn’t remember Gastina angst but it was pretty good having Xavi and Matteo’s cousin (I forgot her name) come back to stir up drama

Gastón and Nina are really selfless putting each other first and helping each other achieve their dreams despite risking their relationship (such a shame they weren’t endgame)

I noticed Matteo lacking screentime and that really bothered me… but I get it since he was off doing his own thing

I loved the whole storyline of Simón going off and being a solo artist for a little while but then joining Roller Band again

I felt really bad for Matteo when his album got cancelled… he literally risked EVERYTHING for his music career. He confronted his dad and lost Luna in the process… so in the end it wasn’t even worth it SMH

I’m kinda glad it was Matteo’s dad that eventually got through to him when he was shutting Luna and Gastón out when he was spiraling. It had to be him.

Ámbar being lied to about her identity was so fucked up. I mean she was already struggling with that so it was even worse when she believed she was Sol

I hated how even after Ámbar found out she wasn’t Sol and Luna was, she still helped Sharon deceive everyone. She was always so loyal to her and i’m like WHYYYY. Sharon is the reason why Ámbar is full of hatred and resentment because that’s how she was raised

Ámbar is not a very good strategist. She’s very impulsive and doesn’t think before acting which gets her in a lot of trouble

It breaks my heart when Ámbar has to remind herself to control her feelings and shuts off her humanity. It’s literally like a switch she turns off.

There were a lot of moments where Simón defended Matteo saying he’s not a bad guy. Sitteo boyfriends so true

I don’t remember if I cried the first time when Luna found out she’s Sol but I did this time… that whole scene was just so beautiful and emotional for me. And I love that song in the background

Nina is such a good detective. She found out Luna was Sol before her… and so did her parents

The dance skating scenes is literally my fav part of the series. I’m not really educated but I think the actors do their own stunts because I’ve seen the live concerts and they seem to be all professional skaters, which I love. They’re so talented 💜

I was literally waiting for the episode Tini guest starred. My two worlds colliding. Makes me so happy :) Cause the first time I didn’t watch Violetta so I didn’t know who she was

Sabrina Carpenter also guest starred which I thought was really random since she doesn’t really speak Spanish but I think at that time Girl Meets World was really popular and so was she

Jam & Roller didn’t win Roda Fest but they won the Glass Skate which is a much bigger prize so I loved that. I love how they don’t always win because that’d be unrealistic and predictable which I usually expect from Disney shows but not them

Season 2 ending with a Matteo/Luna/Simón cliffhanger was so CRUEL. It always goes back to that triangle.

I remember the season ended with Footloose… that made me so happy. I loved the original movie and the song is such a vibe

this might be considered a spoiler (ig??) so if anyone reads this who hasnt finished btvs look away but i just finished rewatching the show and i forgot that angel shows up in the last ep ;-; it filled me with so much joy pls he rly feels like home ;-; reminded me of better times and just ahhh hes so funny and precious right till the bitter end (*goes off to rewatch the angel show as well*)

Lmao I often struggle with like, what I should and shouldn't post on my blog because of spoilers. But the show is almost 25 years old, so there's gotta be SOME kind of statute of limitations with stuff like this. I do feel badly, though, because a lot of people have came to me and said they started watching the show bc of me... and like, my blog is not spoiler-free, lol.

But yes, I love that he comes back! The show wouldn't feel complete without seeing him again, especially bc they weren't allowed to do crossovers during season six of Buffy/season three of Angel.

I just love how honest Buffy and Angel always are with each other because they truly love and respect each other. Like I've said before, they aren't together because of circumstance, they will always choose each other.

Honestly the only true plot that interested me was Tim Shepard & Tim Shepard only. Steve’s care was pretty cool. Some dope Stevepop moments. Nice tarry content. Just nice Darry content over all. Dallas’s scene in the beginning keeps sending me thoughjskakfk

Ep 1:

Honestly I hate hate hate what they did to Sodapop’s character I absolutely hate it. They did him so freaking dirty. But we love pro choice Steve & Two Bit was also pretty scrumptious in this episode as well. I dislike this episode. It’s a no for me.

Ep 2:

This one is smack full of delicious tarry content for everyone to gobble on. Darry is absolutely scrumptious and I love the whole dynamic between him and Tim. I, again, hate soda in this episode. I hate him so much it’s unreal. Why is he like that. But I do love the way they did Buck so oh well. Kinda sad about the lack of Stevie.

Ep 3:

Definitely my favorite episode because iykyk. Steve is just absolutely scrumptious omg they really did a musical episode huh. And that song was really a banger huh. And he really had to look that good? Also Two but was absolutely scrumptious. The whole greaser band was a damn treat I wish we got more off. I will not be addressing the Ponyboy situation because no. Disgusting. Absolutely vile & perverted. No thank you & never again. But omg I cannot describe to you how amazing the band is guys ugh I cannot I cannot they are so cute & I want more content pronto. Also the bonding between Darry & Buck was kinda cute too. Like dar has a bit of a father figure again, it’s sweet.

Ep 4:

Pony is a damn flipping idiot. Wtf is he thinking. Like. Why. Why would he ever do that in a million years. Steve though, was looking fine again. And rip Soda even though he doesn’t die. I think Pony & Soda both nearly dying in this episode is so funny. Also kinda ooc of Darry? Like? Hospital bills are a deal ton and he is just gonna roll it off? Steve was more like Darry than Darry. Probably cause his boyfriends was dyi-

Ep 5:

We will not be addressing Tim & Cherry. Never. But omg. The tarry again guys the tarry omg I died. They’re so domestic & for what?? Also why is Pony such a moody little crap. I hate him in this because he cannot make up his little hormonal mind for a second. Also why can’t they put pants on? The lack of Two & Steve was very sad but ig the tarry vibes can make up for it. Idk what the brothers were on though agreeing to all that-

Ep 6:

A very close second favorite omg. I love the exploration of both Two and Pony’s friendship & the friendship between Steve and Darry. The scene was short but I really loved the dialogue between Steve & Darry. I think this was the one episode they tried (poorly) to give Steve the spot light & ehh. I love him & I loved hearing more about his dad & his relationship with his dad but there should’ve been more idc. I think the whole fact they all idolize old dead white men is a tad weird. But two’s speech on Elvis was the highlight of the episode by far omg. I just think Steve & Darry were idiots for continuing to work but it produced good content ig. Poor Darry though rip almost lol. I loved the Steve plot line of it all even if it was smaller than hoped for.

Ep 7:

Forking hate this episode. It adds absolutely nothing to the plot besides defiling Soda’s character even further. I think it was a poor poor attempted at ‘omg let’s all get along lol’ but came off incredibly racist & umm. It was an uncomfortable watch that is for sure. Honestly I plan on skipping this episode on my next rewatch it really isn’t worth the time imo. It’s just. Weird. 

Ep 8:

Every time I think about this episode I think it could be my favorite hdjskkd but idk. I absolutely freaking adorable the tarry & how they both protect each other. Please they are literally on a date. Soda is an absolute idiot but we know that. Steve was by far superior in this episode & he was a fine specimen too omg they Hawaiian shirt did wonders. Also Stevebit??? Omg please the way they blatantly flirted was so freaking fruity. Darry being a hero & saying the day in an epic way because again, Soda is a complete moron. Idk. Jewel was kinda vibey but Pony was good as well in this episode. Omg this is long but Tim & his parole officer sent me to the moon omg I see why Darry was crushing so hard.

Ep 9:

Ahhhh the two bit centric episode we all needed! I liked seeing how the stayed pretty close & true to his character, besides the drinking. It was fun & nice to learn more about him & his family aside from him just being a wise crack & I think both Pony & Steve saw that. That’s why they both helped him out. & I especially love the way the whole gang stood up for him in the end omg Tim Shepard was scrumptious but isn’t he always. I just love seeing more of two bit & his life & friendships outside the gang. However the scene with Sodapop was absolutely hilarious in an odd way- weirdo boyfriends. Also. Tim borrowing Darry’s suit is by far so tarry & I love them. Tim’s character exploration was also scrumptious in this episode.

Ep 10:

OK BUT- ok but this one also might be my favorite JSKSKKS I’m just gonna keep saying it. Two & Steve are absolutely complete asshole boyfriends. Especially Steve. The energy between two & Steve & soda is absolutely off the charts. Sodapop definitely lost his mind a little bit & I still don’t understand how Buck rationalized his decisions. Pony was just having the time of his life it was so funny. I feel bad for Darry omg it was his birthday & he was stuck being the responsible adult for a loaf of dumb ass kids. But honestly. Soda. You idiot. I know I should feel bad for you. But that sucked. How could you believe that. Buck too. Steve & Two are such fruity cuties though riding around, pranking, smooching, scheming together. Also, steve can draw & is musical? Ok king am I you or are you more attractive that I thought awooga woo
