QUEER-FANSHIPPERS

Calling out to other fans who queer-ship for support! The dark-ish, romcom-ish, historical-ish pirate show Our Flag Means Death is one of the few that has actual queer-couples prominently featured on the show.

The main romantic pairing were regularly shipped in fandom long before it was revealed this was not a queer-baiting tactic, it was actually happening...

And this is just ONE queer/non-heteronormative couple out of many more.

It's a fun show with a wonderful cast and crew who are not only supportive through their work, but many of who reach out to fans through special events and social media.

And now Max/WBD has cancelled that. One of the few cannon-supported examples where shipping queer-based couples weren't just fantasies, and it's been squashed.

I recommend y'all check out the show, but also please help protest the decision to cancel this unique series before it had the chance to complete its full arc:

It's been a year since I moved and my life turned upside down. A long year. I won't lie and say I'm used to it, I'm settled, things are better. I'd move in a heartbeat if I could.

I wanted to write all summer, but moving really knocked my fandom life for a loop. I miss it but it's just not the same here, now. However, I've been reading Finnpoe fanfic again for a week, which inspired me to post. To say Hi. To say I will always love Poe Dameron and ship Finnpoe and remember my time here as something special.

Maybe I will write again. Who knows, I may have to write some fixits if there really is a movie in the works! I would love to write a sequel to some of own stories, like The Talisman. I am still stuck on the body swap but maybe some day it will pour out. I try to think of something really different every so often, but usually remember I already wrote something similar.

Anyway. I got a new job and a new cat and tomorrow I turn older so Finn and Poe have been a perfect escape this week, and always will. Finnpoe forever! ❤️

Star Wars -fanfic: The Last Jedi - Between Fates part 1

Summary: Rey is on her mission to find the legendary Jedi Luke Skywalker, but the man wants nothing to do with her. But she cannot give up when the fate of the Galaxy is at stake and the secrets of her own past and powers are not yet revealed.

Kylo Ren is set to finish his training to become a Sith lord but his spirit has been shattered by the killing of Han Solo. His master sends him to hunt down the Skywalker - and the scavenger girl, as well. Eager to get rid of the conflict, Kylo Ren takes on the mission.

Finn has fallen into a coma after his encounter with Ren, but in his sleep, his spirit travels somewhere between and meets someone who is adamant that Finn is force sensitive.

Poe Dameron tries to be the hero he wants to be, but the scars on his mind from Ren's interrogation are still fresh.

The Light and Dark meet once again as the fate of the Force takes its next turn.

In short: my attempt to fix "The Last Jedi" with the following:

Leia stays in command 100% of the time

Finn is force-sensitive

the Knights of Ren actually have a meaning

Ahsoka Tano and Ezra Bridger are part of the story

NO Cantonica side quest!

Palpatine's return IS planned beforehand

and lots more fun for the whole family!
