They should have let petra be funny. Like i have a lot of issues with how they handled people of color in three houses but like i think petra should be funnier, at least post timeskip. Like reading writing listening and speaking are very different linguistically and shes a very good student canonically so it stands to reason she can do the first two very well. But i just think it would be very good if she was Only Bad at Speaking. Like the amount of shit she could pull by understanding the language very well but no one realizing she does cause her grammars fucked is so much it would have been so good.
