Based on that Japanese myth that your face is the face of the person you loved most in your previous life❤️

I know that myth isn’t actually true and it’s not necessarily canon but I do think it’s a cool concept and it kinda worked out for all the previous avatars so I thought it would be cute. Of course non of them look EXACTLY the same but similar for sure!

So I designed Delun to look similar to Asami (who Korra loved most in her life). Youko looks similar to Li Ma. Li Ma was Delun’s mother and the person he loved most in his life. Because he spent his entire life in captivity he never had a relationship with someone he loved more than her. I also thought it would be interesting to take a different route because most of the past avatars loved their romantic partner most, but familial motherly love is just as beautiful❤️

Today I had some fun with this Picrew here: https://picrew.me/image_maker/429812 and created some fun (as of yet) nameless Avatar OC's that I'm gonna share because I'm bored and i want other people to have fun too

[If I ever use them for something it would play after Aang and Korra (and the Legend of Genji a WIP fan story) or way before them... probably before....ugh idk]

He is a quite skilled Earthbender, he probably prefers technique and speed over brute force. He is a little shit who won't hesitate to cause some chaos and break or bend some rules. He reminds me of a Pirate, maybe he is an Earthbender who has no problems with travelling on Water, he probably keeps a few knives on him all the time. He is quite skilled at lockpicking and may or may not have been a thief before joining the group.

She is the Waterbender of the team, she is very calm and skilled in the healing arts. Usually it is her who keeps Earth out of trouble and stops the more dangerous things, but that doesn't mean she stops all, she likes to sit back and watch the chaos when she knows it isn't dangerous. She is the steady Ocean that knows when to push and when to pull in their little group. She didn't grow up on the poles but on an Island group in a warmer area.

He is quite big and slow for an Airbender and he tends to worry a lot, he loves to assist Water with the healing and usually cooks the meals for them. He traveled around a lot before joining the group and is one of the few that knows the most abou travelling. While not so skilled at creating small things his raw power is admirable, especially because he learned to control it as to not hurt his friends. He dislikes fighting and tends to simply slowly push people away that try to hurt him and his friends

They are the Fireavatar, they always wanted to travel the world and upon learning they are the avatar promptly packed their back and took of (after saying goodbye of course). They love their family greatly and try to write weekly or monthly letters to reasure them they are fine, they are from a rather small city on the edges of the Fire Nation and grew up with some Earthbender kids. Earth was actually the first person they meet that joined them, they meet only a few citys away from their home and they were really impressed at Earth skills that looked like they needed far more technique than anything they had seen from other Earthbenders. Thus they invited him to join on their travels to find people who could teach them and would be willing to come and see the world. Earth agreed of course.

She was the second person that joined the group, Earth tricked her and tried to steal from her and she caught him doing it. After giving Earth a long lecture and a big scare she decided that Fire and Earth couldn't travel alone, someone would need to take care of them. She is the second oldest of the group (her guard being the oldest) she is from a richer family but as the third daughter she is allowed way more freedom than the heir. She likes to travel and support her family bussnies so traveling with the Avatars group seemes like a good option. She and Fire often share the Leader position when it comes to decisions but usally she takes the lead in most things. She got her scar after a bad encounter with men that tried to kidnap her sister, since then her parents made sure she always has one guard around. Her Guard helped her to learn a little self defense for the case that something happens, she is good with knives and Earth is teaching her more about them. She is the strategist of the group and the Person that usually handles talking to civilians Water helps her a lot with that.

She got hired to protect the nobles daughter, at first they didn't really believe that a girl a young one at that was supposed to be good enough but after a demonstration they agreed that she was good enought to protect their daughter. She was against the idea of travelling with the Avatar, but after her charge wrote to her parents about the great opportunity that that would be and they agreed she couldn't really do anything to stop it. She is the most strict of them and tries to keep them in line, tries is the keyword here. She takes her job very seriously and is always a bit dissapointed when they manage to get in trouble again, she likes to see the world though, that is why she accepted the job to help protect a nobles daughter that liked to travel. Her favourite weapon is the sword. You definetely can ask me questions about them to learn more, this way i would have to think about them more and the chances rise that i actually would use them for something

I think fics where Zuko and Sokka the avatar in the human world are halarious

Why?

Because Zuko is firenation and they would have to kill aang plus the watertribe avatar plus the earthkingdom avatar, untill that happens it would be to late. And I am not really sure if he could be the avatar since Roku is his grand father and in his bloodline. It would be like Roku beeing reborn into his family lmao that's weird.(oh and the next fireavatar would be a girl since the pattern is : boi gal boi gal boi boi gal boi gal boi boi gal boi gal)

People who make Sokka the avatar are halarious cs... It's hard to break it to you buddy but the next avatar after Aang has to be a girl (it would count if Sokka was born a girl but then: trans go brrrr✨✨✨ (and I stan but it would be very disrespectful to if you weren't trans so please don't)

But as long as noone disrespects the other caracters (And with other I mean every girl and Aang) I have nothing against the fics. Its just a funny thought I had.

Meet Kallik!🌊🌊

At the beginning of our story, most of Kallik’s life is a mystery. When we meet Kallik, he is working for an underground organization within the Northern Water Tribe called the NIF (Northern Liberation Front). Meet Temujin!🪨🪨

Temujin (goes by Temu) is a sandbender from the Si Wong desert. He is in a large family with 7 siblings. Like many sandbender children, Temujin is sent away to a residential school for most of the year. The Earth Democratic Republic requires all children of sandbender tribes to attend these schools. The EDR ensured many poor sandbender families that this is the only was they will ever gain employment within the EDR. Their goal is to assimilate them and eventually gain monopoly over the Si Wong desert(which sandbender tribes have pushed back on for many years). The Dai Li also heavily police the border of the Si Wong desert. Within the schools that they are sent to, sandbender children are treated poorly and punished for talking about anything from their tribes. For years they have begun pushing back visiting time with families. This had everyone getting a little uncomfortable. Temujin had enough when they announced the children would not be returning home the coming summer. He made a difficult decision to leave the school and his family…

Notes: One more member of team avatar to go! I’m really enjoying writing this but winter term is about to begin and I’m gonna be moving into a new place so we’ll have to see how that goes! I will continue to do this either way but I may have to slow down sadly.
