Thinking about the fact that S1 tma takes place in 2016, Tim and Sasha playing Fireboy and Watergirl together on cool math games, sometimes Martin will watch them and occasionally switches in as Watergirl when Tim gets tired of dying all the time. This continues untilJon comes in and Tim starts trying to convince him to try Roblox. Jon inevitably gets tired of Tim asking, and proceeds to get forced into making an account. He struggles making an avatar (haha) severely before joining in on Epic Mini-games and Tim makes jokes about Jon being terrible at the game, Sasha joins in on the joking and Martin makes light comments about things Jon could potentially do to improve.
The result is Jon staying up until very unreasonable hours of the night to learn all of the mini-games to beat Tims ass the next time they all play.
Silly fun-times if you will.

F1 Driver Pairings As Popular Tropes/Pairings
Part 1
(Daily reminder that these are real people and I don’t actually believe any of this is real- but aren’t tropes fun!)
Feel free to add your own! Or request a pairing!
Lestappen as the Red & Blue characters.
Obvious? Yes. Does it work? Also yes. People who should be opposites or are in opposite situations but are actually pretty similar. They’re red and blue! Opposites attract people! It’s flashy new energy drink vroom vs haunted biblical ferrari vroom and it works!
Yes this is enemies to best friends/lovers but in particular it’s awful first impression to begrudging respect to realising I like you as well as respect you- with a large amount of teasing still in play but less violent in nature. Less good memories become very good with time ;) Pride & Prejudice first impression vibes?
Honorable mention: the red string of fate (the inevitable & the predestined, they will be fighting eachother forever etc.)
Think Merlin & Arthur, Gnomeo & Juliet, Zuko & Sokka or Katara, Keith & Lance, Fireboy & Watergirl even
Brocedes as friends turned enemies
The opposite to Lestappen- this is no friendly rivalry. Best friends to not respectful rivals to enemies with a sprinkle of one of you may be turning evil. This relationship haunts the narrative.
Gives “hello old friend” energy. It’s all about the “historical context” and going into a panic attack anytime the other is brought up.
Honourable mentions: “there was only one bed” (because this had to have happened when they were sharing a room while traveling the globe) and dead wife energy.
Examples include Professor X & Magneto, Anakin & Obi Wan, Peter Parker & Harry Osborn. If you’re going biblical it’s the Cain complex.
Maxiel as grumpy x sunshine
That one sunshine character who the grumpy character has a soft spot for- eventually becoming goofy and sunshiney just around them.
A side of coming of age and hero worship which then flips around as time goes on. It’s all about the character growth!
A little bit of resentment- nothing new by Taylor swift comes to mind. “I’ll say I’m happy for them then I’ll cry myself to sleep” definitely gives “if it’s not me then I’m glad it’s him”. Also right where you left me after Daniel leaves to Renault!
The longest game of gay chicken perhaps ever played.

2012 boys as the things me and my sister did when we were younger
Raph randomly tickles Mikey if they just happen to be sitting or layong right next to each other
Donnie actively avoids to smell whatever weird food combination Mikey makes
Leo and Raph would have little wrestle fights
They sometimes drag Mikey and Donnie in it
Mikey automatically sides with Leo while Donnie sides with Raph
Donnie will betray Raph halfway through
Leo does this little tickle game thing where he makes his hand (named it Mr. Greenie) walk from his younger brother's feet, legs up to all their ticklish spots
His brotherd hate that game
Raph actively fights back
Mikey's favorite part is where Mr. Greenie would tickle his sides
Donnie despises it so he's the first one to run away when Leo pounces on them
Mikey once drew on the wall and Raph covered it up with his own drawings
Raph told Splinter the crayons did those on its own
Splinter did not believe him but the art work he did on the wall looked so good, considering he was still young
Raph kept calling Donnie ugly and he actually eventually cried
Raph stopped calling him ugly because Leo would not stop frowning at him
Said sorry in the end using a card
Mikey made them a lot of cards
Mikey and Leo pretend plays with wet paper as the food
Mikey tried feeding it to Donnie and he full on body shuddered when it touched him
Raph had to carry Donnie over sewer puddles because he's disgusted of it
Idk if this is an asian dad thing, but Splinter let's the turtles walk over his back like a massage thing
They have fun doing it
Raph once jumped and accidentally turned the massage into a chiropractor session
Mikey cried a lot when he wss younger
Raph is a bit possessive with his things
Leo makes his brothers play pretend whenever something scary is going on. Whether it be a storm, or if Splinter is out too long, he'd have them play pretend to distract them.
It worked most of the time
Raph caught on about it when they got older
Donnie followed after
Mikey still doesn't understand what the purpose of those play pretend games are but it was fun
They play y8 games once Donnie managed to fix a computer
Raph and Mikey play fireboy and watergirl
Raph takes the controls most of the time because Mikey can't do some of the puzzles
Leo plays the racing games
Donnie is a little perfectionist when he plays any papa game
They played the maze (if you know you know)
They let Leo play because if Raph did it he'll throw the table, Mikey doesn't want to even look at the monitor and Donnie's hands are shaking
Raph, Mikey and Donnie screamed when the jumpscare happened
Leo was in too much of a shock to react
That's all thank you

I was bored and the idea of these two in the Fireboy and Watergirl game, made me to write this! It's just the first chapter, and I'm not sure when I will update it, but it was fun to write, although I have my own doubts with it!
Yuno, out of boredom, asks Es for a device on which to play a video game. Scrolling through the multiple apps, she is enthusiastic to find a nostalgic game. Getting stuck at a level and jokingly asking Fuuta for help, she is surprised to see him accepting her request. Obviously, unfortunately for them, the tablet was not an ordinary one like the prison from where it came from.

partial joke suggestion: plurals should play the Classic Web Game Fireboy and Watergirl together
Been there, done that! 😜
But yes, I would highly recommend it! It's a ton of fun! 😁

Evie x Aiden gaming headcanons
As requested by @inlocusmads, here are some of my gaming related headcanons for Evie and Aiden. Many of these are actually some of my oldest headcanons, back from when I first got into Choices. Here's what I've got as of now:
Evie:
Evie is more of a casual gamer, but she does have a lot of games she enjoys. Minecraft, Super Mario 64 DS, Mario Kart DS, and Among Us are some of her biggest favorites. And also a couple of oddly satisfying mobile games. And whatever the Choices universe equivalent to Choices and HSS Prime is.
Evie was also a major frequenter of sites like CoolMath during 4th-6th grade and she still enjoys them. Some of her favorites includes Sushi Cat, Papa's Pizzaria/Taco Mia/Burgeria/etc., Bloons + Bloons Tower Defense, and Fireboy and Watergirl. Luckily she does get a chance to show them to Aiden before the end of Adobe Flash.
Aiden:
Aiden is utter crap at computer games. The only ones he's good at are stuff like Smule Magic Piano (which Evie would struggle with more) and Minecraft creative mode.
And 75% of Aiden's Minecraft-playing is composing or recreating songs with the note blocks.
He sometimes does Minecraft Survival mode but the only way he can really last is if Evie's in the world with him and they're working together.
He barely manages Mario Kart, but can't drift for shit.
He openly insults Fortnite.
Sometimes he'll go into a game like Mario Party thinking it'll be easy, only to be absolute dogshit at it.
Yes, Aiden is even crap at Tetris. His screen legit looked like this on his first attempt at the game.
He is not a fan of Among Us (despite that he willingly played "Mafia" on the boat in after-prom). To him, it's just people "running around and blaming each other". He especially hates being the imposter because, in his own words from the Mafia game, "I can't lie to save my life".
Actually I think Aiden would be pretty good at stuff like Interactive Story games like Evie does too.
Myra is always teasing him about how bad he is at most video games and often likes to mention his least favorites to annoy him.
Evie: "Aiden you're usually very dexterous when it comes to instruments, but you're bad at video games?" Aiden: "Playing the piano and playing on a gaming console are two completely different things."
Both of them:
Evie and Aiden regularly have double dates with Nishan and Sakura where they play 2-on-2 video games, usually battlegrounds-style games. Their rounds are of course very short-lived because Aiden is crap at the games, but they're still fun nonetheless.
I haven't played it myself yet but I can totally see the two of them getting into Fall Guys. Evie likes the cute fall guy avatars.
Evie (with some minimal help from Aiden) trying to design a sort of a big fancy "dream house" for them in Minecraft.
Something something they squee over Minecraft cats together a lot
Evie would try to teach Aiden a lot of the video games she's good at. He'd slowly improve at most of them.
The two of them totally obsess over video games with awesome soundtracks, even if they haven't played the games themselves. But it sometimes may lead them to getting into the games. Eg. Evie loves the soundtracks for the Super Mario Galaxy games, she'd show it to Aiden and they'd obsess over them, and at one point or another, they'd feel compelled to buy the games.
I think a habit both of them would also have in certain video games is: they start a game, but if the soundtrack is really good, they'll just make their character do nothing or run around aimlessly in it so that they can keep the music + sound effects going on because they don't want it to stop. They do this a LOT with Mecha Bowser battle in Super Mario Galaxy 1.
I think they'd sometimes use app versions of classic board games (chess, checkers, etc).
They'd definitely enjoy puzzle games like minesweeper. They're each pretty good at the puzzle games on their own, but it's extra fun to work on them together. Also Aiden sitting in Evie's lap while they play the games.

I started thinking about some of the browser games I played as a kid and this story within the same general period of time which lead to me thinking about what the main apprentices might have played if they had computer access and the ability to play games rather than being feral cats in the middle of nowhere.
I think that Pinepaw would have been a Coolmath Games kid. His favorite games were the Fireboy and Watergirl games, which he sometimes convinced his siblings to play with him (as well as Rainhaze one or two times. He didn't understand the appeal), but he mostly played it by himself. Other than that his favorites were the Run games. Especially Run 3. This is solely because I liked Run 3 when I was younger because that's the version I saw the other kids playing. Even when he grew up he continued to like Coolmath Games. His ideal date is one where he gets to play Fireboy and Watergirl with Cormorantpaw
I think that Daffodilpaw would have loved Animal Jam, as well as similar games. She always wanted a membership and never got one. If she were to ever manage to get one (either by begging Slugpelt enough that she decided to just give one to her or from Rainhaze as a birthday gift) she would have been scammed out of all of her rare items very quickly. She also always loved decorating her den. She also kind of gives me the vibes of a kid who would go onto websites full of really low quality makeover games full of questionable content and beauty standards. It does not seem like she internalized them but she absolutely did
Asphodelpaw also kind of reminds me of somebody who might have gone onto those same makeover game websites (she might have introduced Daffodilpaw to them), but she also makes me think that she'd be a scammer on websites like AJ with memberships. She never needed to beg for a membership because she was already getting rare items by being a master manipulator as a seven year old child. Before they knew that they were both on AJ she scammed Daffodilpaw without knowing it. I don't have personal experience with this one but from what I heard about it I think she'd like MovieStarPlanet. Especially if she managed to get a membership somehow (either through the Daffodilpaw methods or simply by taking Slugpelt's credit card), since I think she'd poke fun at all non-members she saw. Also because I feel like at least one thing here might come off as mean to her I promise that I love Asphodelpaw a lot
I think that Cormorantpaw would look up scary browser games and play whatever he could find. I know you've said that he wouldn't like FNAF because it's so focused around suspense, but I think that he would have spent time looking for a browser version because I heard it was scary. Then he got genuinely upset because it was just sitting around and he was too good at it to actually get a jumpscare. I headcanon him to be somebody who would barley flinch at jumpscares so even when he did get one he was disappointed. Otherwise I think he'd be less a browser games kid and more a kid who spent all his time on the creepypasta wiki. Like an unhealthy amount of time. He also spent a lot of time watching reactor channels playing horror games. He doesn't like the reactors at all but the horror games he was looking for cost money so he has to settle for watching some guy play them and scream at all the jumpscares he is not at all phased by
LIVING for the thought you put into this. Fuck yes dude, absolutely. I need everyone to read and dissect this ask.

*click* *Subtitles/CC turned on*
Host: Hi guys! Welcome back to my channel! It’s 2023 and for the past few years, we have lived with the COVID-19 pandemic. We couldn’t help but reminisce about our childhood when our lives were easy and simple. Today, I’m joined by a friend to look back on our childhood nostalgia!
Friend: Hi everyone! I’m excited to be a part of today’s video! My friend and I will be showing a couple of things that will dig up some old memories. Try not to become sentimental hahaha.
Host: Oh, I'm sure you'll get emotional. Maybe I will too.
Friend: I bet you’ll even tear up a bit.
Host: I won’t! So, without further ado, let’s get started!
Tumblr media
Host: When we were kids, we loved toys! Didn’t you? We have toys that we pay more attention to, than others. Mine were Bratz and Barbie dolls. There were different kinds that came in different looks and outfits.
Tumblr media
Each day was another day, another slay for these dolls. We also did roleplay one way or another, right? Perhaps with dollhouses or toy kitchens? I bet you wanted a mini kitchen with a sink or a toy cash register that made beeping noises! They went perfectly with some props we found lying around. One example was our use of baby powder and leaves or flower petals that we would cut into pieces to look like food. As for me, I would go to Youtube and follow a tutorial on how to make my miniature props. It was so much fun!
Friend: So that’s where you got your creativity.
Host: You’re absolutely right! You know me too well.
Friend: Of course, I do! On the other hand, action figures like Transformers, Gundam, and superheroes like Spiderman and Hulk, were my thing! Almost every character had a mini version of themselves as action figures. I think action figures are so popular because they allow us to picture ourselves as our favorite characters while we play.
Tumblr media
Host: I remember the way you’d beg me to play Hulk and you as Spiderman.
Friend: And I would always beat you hahaha.
Host: You’d always beat me because I didn’t know a thing about superheroes, neither was I interested in them! Anyway, some toys were made for battle like Bakugan and Beyblade. You can buy arenas to play them on, but most kids would just play them on the ground.
Friend: I envy those kids who had arenas. They got to feel the whole experience! Playing them on the ground was still a lot of fun, but the Beyblades didn’t always collide! It also took ages to find it if you didn’t see where it went. To this day, I wish I had an arena.
Host: Awww, poor you! Bawi nalang next life hehehe.
Friend: Please don’t make fun of my childhood hardships… :(
Host: :o
Friend: I’m just kidding! Anyway, last but not the least, the toys that challenged our creativity as kids like Play-Doh, erasable doodle boards, and Lego bricks.
Host: The possibilities are endless with these types of toys! Did you have that set where you can make different foods out of Play-Doh? Or maybe those Lego kits where you can build different types of structures?
Friend: Oh, I remember that I used to have a Lego kit for creating a gas station! However, I was unable to finish it because I lost some of the parts…
Host: This is why, my dear viewers, you should always be organized with your things! Moving on…
Tumblr media
Host: Games were a huge part of our childhood. There were video, outdoor, and board games. Let’s first start with video games. Back then, there were several game websites on the internet like Y8.com and Friv.com. I know you were also on these websites all day! They provided us with numerous games that we sometimes play on our own or with friends in multiplayer mode. Papa’s Burgeria, Fireboy and Watergirl, Bartender: The Right Mix, and Cooking Mama, were some games that I bet you played too. If you know, you know.
Tumblr media
Friend: I remember those games! And how you didn’t want to play with me. :(
Host: Well, I had homework to do, ever heard of that?
Friend: Haha, very funny.
Host: Anyhow, if we didn’t have internet, we would play games on the Game Boy, PlayStation Portable or PSP, and many more consoles. We would beg our parents to buy us disks of the games we were interested in.
Friend: Oh, the lengths we’d go to just to get them to buy us the stuff we want! I was willing to do anything— even the chores that weren’t mine, just for that Pokemon disk.
Host: I know right??? And some games we played on Game Boy including what you just mentioned, Pokemon and Super Mario. While Tekken and The Sims can be played on the PSP.
Tumblr media
Friend: But if we couldn’t play on the computer or the video game consoles, we'd instead play on our family tablet, iPad, or even our parents' phone. Some of my favorite games here were Plants vs. Zombies, Angry Birds, Temple Run, Fruit Ninja, and Flappy Bird! I was so addicted to these games that my parents had to hide the gadgets from me!
Host: And that’s a perfect example of why you shouldn’t play too many games, kids! But when we get tired of the screen or we get frustrated because we keep losing our games, we would go and play outdoor games instead. Some of the most popular ones were hopscotch, tag, and hide-and-seek. I remember that time we played tag and someone pushed you a little too hard. You cried like a baby!
Friend: Of course, I cried! It hurt so much! Maybe 10 times more than the time I had to get my flu shots!
Host: Just admit that you’re a crybaby.
Friend: No, I’m not! Anyway, as Filipino kids, we also enjoyed traditional games like Luksong baka, Ice ice water, and Chinese garter. We used to play these with our neighbors or with our classmates during break or after school. Hey, remember that time you tripped on a rock while playing Ice Ice Water? You should’ve seen your face! I swear, it was the same face you made when you found out that Taylor Swift and Harry Styles broke up!
Tumblr media
Host: Maybe it was because you were the first person I saw after tripping. You were so ugly, I almost wanted to cry hahaha! Crazy to think I still carry the scars I got from all those games!
Friend: I think our scars are a great reminder of our childhoods. It brought back memories of the time we had spent as kids playing with our friends! As long as we were having fun while playing, it didn't matter whether we got hurt. Despite the amount of times we cried, at the end of the day each scar was just a happy little accident!
Host: I 100% agree with you! And regardless, if we’re not in the mood to play the games that we mentioned, we would play board games. Some popular 2000s board games were Monopoly, Jenga, Snakes and Ladders, and Dominoes. I would always beat my friend in these games. I guess I’m the brainier of the two of us!
Friend: Hey, that’s not true. To all the viewers out there, please do not believe what this person is saying. Let’s just move on to the next…
Tumblr media
Friend: Our last nostalgia for today is cartoons. Back when we were kids, we would start our day by watching cartoons, and we would even end the day the same way. If you had TV cables like Sky or Cignal, there were specific channels just for cartoons.
Host: If you didn’t have cable, you would just watch what was being shown on your TV channels, even though some were dubbed.
Friend: The only downside of watching cartoons on TV channels is you have to wait for the cartoon show to come up! Some are on the TV only in the morning or every other day. Unlike in TV cables, channels like Cartoon Network, Disney, and Nickelodeon show cartoons almost 24/7!
Host: So true! Also, I don't know if it was just me but as a kid, I didn’t pay much attention to the dialogue in cartoons, I didn’t even take the time to understand what the characters were saying. Were you also like that?
Friend: I knew I wasn’t the only one!
Host: Right??? Still, just watching it somehow gave us an idea of the story or what it is about. As long as we found the animation satisfying and the cartoon funny or cool, it was an instant favorite. Some of my favorites were The Powerpuff Girls, Courage the Cowardly Dog, The Fairly OddParents, and The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy.
Friend: My personal favorites were Looney Tunes, Jimmy Neutron, and Chowder. I really enjoyed it when classes would get canceled and I would spend the rest of my day watching cartoons. I was living the life!
Tumblr media
Host: We were living life!
Friend: And we still are!
Host: These were just some of the things from our childhood that I hope will remind us of our innocent and carefree days. Reflecting on our memories is a good thing, but doing so with a friend is much better. We shared moments of laughter, craziness, and tears, as well as giving and receiving support from them. What's stopping us from doing the same with them now if we've done it before?
Friend: When we are feeling down, it is always helpful to reflect on our memories. It brings us comfort and motivates us to be kind to ourselves, that we once had this beautiful innocence. It can help us achieve the dreams we once thought were impossible to reach, no matter how silly they may be.
Host: So that’s it for today’s video! If you like this video, you can give it a like and then comment down below your childhood nostalgia.
Friend: If you want more videos like this, don’t forget to click the subscribe button down below and the notification bell so you would get notified every time my friend posts a new video.
Host and friend: Thank you so much!

realising that my fear of playing games where your choices matter probably partially stems from moral scrupulosity ocd. if i want to have fun after a day of worrying over everything i say then playing a game where i need to think long and hard about my choices is ough .
like even when i was a wee lass in the primary school computer lab i couldnt play papas games past the tutorial day because id take too long and then id be afraid the customers would be upset at me so id just panic and go play fireboy and watergirl instead. (i'm better now i love the papas games dearly !!! character development)
so . i might start playing disco elysium and treat it like exposure response prevention? i dont know much about that game other than the fact that choices do indeed matter but i think kim katsuragi could save me from ocd. hes so cool...

Game Research - Fireboy and Watergirl
Fireboy and Watergirl is a popular platformer game with two player which can link very well to this current project. Here are some features of the game that make it so good:
The cartoony art style looks cohesive which is what we want to acheive in our game
The way the levels get harder and introduce more features as you go along is seamless and is at a steady pace
Having players play on the same keyboard is really fun and unique, it would be good if we can create this feeling with having two controls
The animations for the characters are simple but make sense, this will help me when creating our characters as I would like to do something similar to fit the theme

Play Free Games Online Without Downloading
In today’s world, there are a plethora of free games available to play online. These games offer options for players of all ages and skill levels. Whether you want to play a simple puzzle game or test your skills in an exciting action game, you can find what you’re looking for online.
There are a few things you can do to play free games online without downloading. First, you can find free games on many gaming websites. These sites typically offer a variety of genres and difficulty levels. Second, some game developers release their games for free. These games are often created by small independent developers and may not have the same graphics or gameplay as big-budget games. However, they are often still fun and worth playing.
Fireboy and Watergirl Online: A Fiery Adventure!
Fireboy and Watergirl, the iconic duo of elemental opposites, have ignited the internet with their cooperative puzzle adventures! These charming platformer games challenge players to navigate treacherous temples and collect diamonds, all while overcoming obstacles that cater to each character’s unique strengths and weaknesses.
A Tale of Two Elements
Fireboy: Our fearless pyromaniac thrives in scorching environments, activating switches and melting ice blocks with his fiery touch. Water, however, is his kryptonite – a single splash can send him back to the starting point!
Watergirl: This cool and collected heroine gracefully glides through watery corridors, extinguishing flames and pushing levers with her aquatic prowess. But beware of scorching lava; it’ll evaporate her as quickly as Fireboy melts in water!
Online Fun for All
The beauty of Fireboy and Watergirl online lies in its accessibility. No downloads or installations are required – simply head to a gaming website like Coolmath Games, Armor Games, or CrazyGames and dive into the adventure. These platforms offer various Fireboy and Watergirl games, from the original Forest Temple to Crystal Temple and even Crystal Temple Fairy Tales, each one bursting with fresh challenges and intricate puzzles.

Just saw Ice Blade Irelia splash art. …Could riot really not help themselves? Stupid question, I know. Uh, anyway, if you could pick the next character/characters to get a riot forge game, who would you pick and why?
no they cannot and that makes me wonder if the splashart artist was a woman because in her position i would do the job i guess for the money and the opportunity but i would be peeling my skin off.
i dont know why riot thinks it okay to enhance some parts of the body just because the community thinks its hot...? And that its not objectifying...? And that is putting a bad example on young generations that play the game to catcall and objectify women themselves...? yeah but irelia big bootay hot
you see i would say pyke but ruined king already has him BUT i still have objections because alongside Braum he didnt get that spotlight characters like Illaoi and Ahri had. I really missed both of them having this type of arc on them with slightly more depth than 'well guess im worthy' and 'well guess my people wont die of sickness'.
yordles are currently getting a game so thats cool! im getting covered both of my favourite regions so what else can i ask for?
I think Kled... like this type of rogue like game with same dinamic as league where you can get mounted and dismounted of Skaarls and you have to gain her courage again? I imagine something very The Binding of Isaac style but without that much variety of enemies and items.
I also think a Xayah and Rakan game would be fun? Or any of the existent couples like Caitvi or Sennalucian. I probably just want fireboy and watergirl revival hahaha

Here's an unusual ask to give you some respite from all the serious asks lately: What's a video game you think I should play today?
Hmm... Any video games?
Just random recommendations?
You know, back a long, long time ago, someone recommended Control on the PS4 to me. It's the oldest game on my list, and it looks really fun, but I still haven't played it.
By the way, if you're plural and can do partial possession, I have an old post that mentions a few fun games to try with that including Fireboy and Watergirl, as well as one called Multitask. And those are both free!
I should really add that to my pinned later!
(I always liked Beat Saber, myself, but most people don't have a VR setup.)
