I know it’s partly because it’s season 5, not season 3 like 911: lone star, but you canNOT tell me that a scene w Owen and the 126 would be as emotional as the 118 trying to dig Bobby out of the wreckage. The way they have so meticulously crafted Bobby’s relationship with each of his firefighters. Damn it, I was even convinced of Lucy’s fear for her captain tonight!!! Eddie, Buck, Hen, and Chim SPRINTED to their captain and their terror was PALPABLE and we owe it to the individual development of the characters’ love for Bobby and the brilliant acting skills on show tonight. Owen may be the 126’s leader, but he’s got NOTHING on Bobby’s genuine, kind-hearted love and loyalty for his family, which they return. He is everyone’s father figure and confidant, and even with the Buddie and HenChim bestieism, he remains the driving force behind the 118.
