Chapter 29 - AO3

His eyes snapped open as the taxi pulled up to [School Name]. Paying the driver, Felix flipped a hood up over his head, reveling in the soft fabric and anonymity. After leaving Alya’s house, he’d immediately gone to an ATM to withdraw a few hundred pounds to carry on him. It was a risk—if Gabriel had called the police on him, then they might track his cards through his bank, but since Gabriel wasn’t his legal guardian, then it was possible that the bank wouldn’t allow access—but it was enough to live on, hiding in a motel room from the storm of akumas that plagued the city, hiding for the two nights and a day until he was allowed back in school again. He’d bought his hoodie the first night while grabbing some portable groceries, since his normal way of dress was notable, but he might keep it in his wardrobe for future use. Maybe Marinette could make him one…

He was stalling.

Popping open the taxi door, Felix headed inside, keeping his head down. His phone buzzed in his head, a confirmation from Marinette to meet before class started. His phone had been busy during his time out of Agreste Mansion; since he had to leave his laptop behind, he had to rely on Alya and Marinette’s help… mostly Alya’s, to be honest. As skilled as Marinette was, technology and dramatics weren’t really her specialty. Fortunately, she seemed invested in making Lila Rossi as miserable as possible.

Hmm. Maybe he was rubbing off on her.

Blending in with the oncoming students, Felix followed a group of boys younger than him, walking towards the gym. The gym was on the opposite side of the building from Bustier’s class, but he was early enough for it not to matter. Checking to see if anyone was watching, Felix ducked into the art room.

And there she was.

A terrible weight lifted from his shoulders; he was Atlas reborn, seeing Hesperis again for the first time in months. It certainly felt like months since he last saw Marinette. She smiled at him and Felix couldn’t—and didn’t want to—stop himself: he hugged her.

She stiffened in his arms before relaxing, her head tucked away in the nook between his jaw and shoulder. Her arms wrapped around his back and her hands buried into his sweatshirt, scrunching the fabric. Her heart beat against his chest, slow and steady. His eyes slipped closed. “Marinette.”

“What are you wearing!?” His eyes snapped open. She looked embarrassed. “Wait, sorry. I didn’t mean to say that, I was just… surprised. Are you okay?” She backed out of his hug and he opened his eyes. She stared up at him, concerned. “Alya told me, that Gabriel—”

He pressed a finger against her mouth. Fortunately, the room was empty, but someone could be listening outside the door. He pulled her to the other side of the room, as far from the door as they could be. “Yes, he is. But don’t worry, I got out of there before he could do anything to me.”

“And you’re alright?” She took a step back to study him, and his eyes were drawn to her neck. She wore a silver chain necklace that dipped below her shirt, and he could just barely see the outline of the ring he gave her. “You’ve been eating enough? And you had a safe place to stay? None of the akumas found you—”

“I’m alright. What about you? Did Gabriel send someone over to harass you because of me?”

“He sent Nathalie yesterday morning, but since you weren’t there, she left quickly. She tried to see my phone and email too, but my mom wouldn’t let her intimidate me.”

“I owe your mother a favor then.” Sabine Cheng must be a force of nature, to stop Nathalie in her tracks. “But what happened? I thought you said you were going to stay home today?” That was the plan. They were going to bait Rossi into getting akumatized, but needed her attention on Felix the whole time. To prevent her attention from straying, Marinette agreed to stay home today, while Alya planned to bolt as soon as his show began.

“Ladybug filled me in on some details.” He blinked; she was in contact with the superheroine? “The plan is for Chat Noir to protect you from the akuma, while Ladybug and a few temporary heroes help her ambush Hawkmoth. But I… She… We were worried that Lila will hurt you.”

Felix smiled. “Marinette, I’m flattered that you’re so concerned—” Though he wasn’t sure how to feel that the superheroine who punched him in the face was also concerned— “But this isn’t my first time fighting an akuma. I’ve fought three at once, remember?”

“You survived three akumas at once,” she corrected, fiddling with the front of his sweatshirt. “This is different. Lila… She’s not like other akumas.”

“How so?” And how did Marinette know this?

“Ladybug told me,” She confessed. “When Lila’s akumatized, she’s… more aware than other akumas. More focused. For other akumas, Ladybug can distract them if they need a breather, they have low-attention spans. Lila’s not like that. She’s completely focused on defeating Ladybug and Chat Noir.”

Felix cupped Marinette’s cheek. “Thank you for the warning, but I think I’ll be fine with Chat Noir’s help.”

“I don’t think so. And fortunately, Ladybug thinks the same, so you’re getting some more back-up.”

“No,” he breathed.

Her eyes flicked down, her irises slyly peeking out from under her lids, and he followed her gaze to his chest. Pinned at the V of his neckline was the Peacock Miraculous transformed. It’s dull gold metal and blood red gems winked up at him.

Duusu swooped into his face. “Hey buddy!”

Felix shot Marinette a betrayed look. “Why?”

“For your own protection.”

“But—” Duusu tried to grab his hair, so he swatted her away. “I told Alya that I didn’t want a Miraculous. I don’t need a Miraculous.”

“Ladybug and I think otherwise.” She crossed her arms over her chest, scowling at him. She looked stunning, daring and backlit by the rising sun, but Felix refused to be ruled by his baser impulses! “The protection of a Miraculous suit isn’t anything to scoff at Felix; you’ll be a lot safer if you transform.”

“Like Ladybug won’t reverse any wounds when she wins the battle!”

“Maybe she doesn’t want to reverse your broken body, maybe she just wants to avoid the problem all together.”

“Be that as it may, have neither of you considered that this might make things more dangerous for me? Gabriel has to keep me alive if he wanted to know where the Peacock Miraculous is. With your method, you’re putting our only piece of leverage right in front of his big nose!”

“Or maybe it will make Hawkmoth hyper-fixate on the battle and distract him from the world around him!”

Felix scoffed. “Trust me, you underestimate my ability to anger my uncle. His attention will be totally on me, I assure you that.”

“And you know what? If this was a normal akuma, or a normal fight, I wouldn’t care. I trust you to get out of the way of an akuma when its after you. But this is completely different from what you’re used to, and I…” Her voice hitched. “I don’t want you to get hurt.”

Well, that…

That was just unfair!

He had no counter to genuine concern like that!

“I’m not a hero!” He poked his finger in her face. “I can’t be. I won’t be!”

“You don’t have to be,” she quickly reassured him, smiling like she had won. “Taunt her, lead her on a chase through the city, I don’t care. Just be safe.”

“This…” His finger shook. “You’re not playing fair.”

She held his hand and lowered it back to his side. “Life’s not fair. I talked to a lot of people who argued that you shouldn’t be allowed to wield a Miraculous. But Duusu and I convinced them, so please appreciate how much we care.”

Felix looked at Duusu, who’d stayed quiet throughout their entire conversation. “You convinced them?”

“Of course, I did!” Duusu puffed out her little chest. “You’re Emilie’s precious nephew; it would be a sin not to help. Plus—” and a creepy grin grew across her face— “I want to get one over on Hawkmoth. He’s enslaved me for too long…”

Contemplating them both for a minute, Felix shook his head. “Fine!” he spat. “I’ll do it! But never again. And no one says anything about it. Not to people who don’t already know, not to me, not to each other. We all forget it ever happens. Understand?”

“I’ll spread the word.” Standing on her tip-toes, Marinette pressed a kiss to his cheek and he blue-screened. “Thank you, Felix. I’ve got to go now—I’m helping Ladybug today—but now I’m certain you’ll be safe… Wish me luck.” She smiled up at him while his brain was still recovering, and by the time he was back online, she’d already left the room. Helpless, Felix looked back and forth between the Miraculous on his chest and the door where Marinette disappeared too. That’s how Alya found him.

She cocked an eyebrow, crossing her arms. “Okay, brainiac, I can see the cogs in your head turning. What brilliant realization did you have this time?”

Felix pressed his flushed face into the cotton of his sleeve. “...I think Marinette is Rena Rouge,” he said around the fabric.

Helluva Boss & Hazbin Hotel <- Most active for a day or two whenever a new episode comes out.

Good Omens <- I like Crowley a lot. Put that guy (gender neutral) in Situations

Avatar: The Last Airbender <- Love all of the characters from ATLA tbh. Great show 10/10 no notes

Five Night's at Freddy's <- This was my first fandom actually! So it has a lot of nostalgia for me. I liked the movie, it was fun. Favorite FNAF animatronics are Foxy and Mangle bc I'm basic like that.

Gravity Falls <- Haven't re-watched it in a while but I still hold a lot of fondness and love for it. sitelen tawa ni li pona mute tawa mi (this show is very good from my perspective)

Cult of the Lamb <- I like this game a lot! I think it is very fun and I like the fanart that people make for it. Have been replaying it recently due to the update :}

The Owl House <- When the Owl House was coming out Hunter got a chokehold on me and forced me into a hyperfixation on the show face-first.

Other Stuff

I am physically incapable of shutting up sorry (i am not sorry). Unless I get locked in gay tumblr baby jail (hit the post limit).

I have a queue running basically constantly that spits out a post/reblog every 9 minutes all 24 hours of the day (unless the queue has run out of posts. then it won't.)

As you could probably tell from the other sections, I know a little Toki Pona. My Toki Pona is not very good so please forgive me if I say something incorrectly. I may (very rarely) throw some of it in tags n such to practice.

My most shameful truth: when I first watched Buffy (bear in mind I was 14 before you judge me too harshly) my OTP was Buffy/Xander & I now realize I was insane for that of course.

Oh, & when I first watched ATLA I just assumed I would be a Zutara truther because I’d seen the fandom & just based on tropes I usually like I went into the show with the mindset “so, obviously this will be my otp” but I’m not sure that one counts because I actually just never got into the ship. But I was sooo sure I would lol 😆

i have finally found the time to watch through the entirety of a court of fey and flowers and it has left me clawing the walls

a few thoughts, here and below the cut:

aabria is honestly one of my favorite gms to watch work. like, literally watch, i am 95% podcasts for my actual play media, but the visual elements of her games (esp. her npc facial expressions & acting choices) are so compelling. every damn time wuvvy looked at rue i died.

never not gonna be impressed with how smoothly this team integrated dnd combat & magic & skill checks with the good society framework to make a compelling, weighty, primarily social game. the unique tokens! (the significance to burning them!) the many pvp insight/deception checks over sighs and glances!!

brennan being an eternal gm is a crime, hob is The Most Character

like, picture me taking that character art of hob, printing it out, folding it up, and eating it. love him.

he’s a self-loathing emotionally obtuse plothound who claims to be bad with words but gives The Most Austen-style heart-wrenchingly vulnerable speeches. who else is doing it like him.

(seriously, if you’ve got regency media recs with hob-alike MCs I Want Them)

i am imagining some bonkers child creation magic — like, cabbage patch If You Want One It Will Grow stuff, genetics and gametes need not be involved stuff — that gives hob and rue an enormous passel of kids to love on and Treat Right, including at least one Owl With Bug Wings and two or three Literal Bears.

also picturing atla level confusion when the first one of those bears comes along. “just a bear?” “not a bugbear, not an owlbear, not a bugowlbear. just a bear.” “…this kid is weird.” “yeah, but we’re gonna love them like mad anyway right?” “oh yeah, of course, i’m just saying!”

deeply shocked andhera was able to sit through that detect thoughts at the tailor shop scene without blurting out SOMETHING, given his tendencies towards blurting out everything in other moments.

but like. imagine.

hob: the k stands for knickolas!!

rue: i love him.

andhera: oh shit, for real?! you love him for real??

disastrous. andhera fails to keep his mouth shut, four wounded two dead. (rip buddy, you were a real one)

otoh. now i’m imagining a fun little trivia game at rue’s nearlywed shower with questions like “where did they meet” and “who asked whom” that give them an excuse to retell all of these cute stories about their relationship, and one question is “when did rue first realize they loved hob?”

the answer is supposed to be after they danced all night at the masquerade, because rue thinks it’s fine to lie a little for the Romance of it all, but andhera’s like “oh, i remember that! it was when hob told them what the k in k.p. stands for!”

and he’s very :D satisfied with himself for winning his team a point! not noticing rue and hob’s very complex face journeys as they silently have a Conversation about this.

most shocking moment for me, a person who saw a fair number of acofaf gifs on my dash last fall: chirp marriage & child reveal, no question. the cast around her reacting is also very good, but the twist in itself was honestly so unexpected! and it works fantastically to give the lords of the wing motivation to join the larger plot on Our Heroes’ Side, i thought that was very smartly done.

and last but not least, a fun fact!

I did not realize this until the ap episode where omar confirmed ace andhera, but my first dnd character was basically a mash-up of andhera and rue.

like. they were an ace paladin poorly faking charm and coolness, using a normative appearance (“imagine a combination of chris hemsworth and chris evans”) as a facade a scared, nonnormative creature hid behind— unfortunately my BINX-alike PC friend died early in the campaign, and the plot took priority over character exploration. but still: same hat!

also: me now, looking back at that character: [miranda cosgrove ‘interesting’ meme with the nonbinary flag superimposed]

The monster the Watcher had slain on his behalf lies unmoving on the ground a few feet away. Unable to help the wry smile, Rhys looks down at the weapon in his palm as his hand curls firmly around its handle.

"You say that" -- he reloads his weapon (an old Eridian gun-esque something or other) with another magazine -- "but I feel like I need to stop relying on you to save my ass when things get too bad. It's not like you can watch my back forever."

And, boy, if things don't have a tendency to get bad. But that's par for the course at this point, living the life that he does. Rhys doesn't like to think of himself as a Vault Hunter, and it's likely he'll never be one of particular renown, but since defeating the Traveller and opening the Vault it guarded, he supposes maybe he does fit the bill.

Vault Hunters have a mark of misfortune around them, he's learned over the years. Rhys has never thought their lifestyles particularly enviable, and to this day he still doesn't. But you can't really run away from what you are, even if you don't want it.

The Watcher has told him of a war that's to come, one he-- as a Vault Hunter and a "piece of the puzzle"-- needs to prepare for. When prodded, they hadn't elaborated much more than that, but in Rhys' mind, the best way for him to help in a war would be to bring Atlas back. It's just a shame he can't get to Promethea and start building Atlas up without getting off this planet first.

"Something tells me you won't be coming with me when this ship gets built." Rhys enters the abandoned facility, his right palm starting to glow as he shines a light to look around for the part he needs. "Which... you know, I respect your decision if you want to stay on this creepy, dark planet all alone.

"Doesn't make me like the idea of leaving a friend behind, though."

After spending weeks with the Watcher, listening to their cryptic speech, and having them as the only living being around that doesn't want to kill him, maybe Rhys is a little attached (a lot attached). But who can blame him?

If I may ask are you willing to share your thoughts on Avatar/Atla? It came to my attention with that meme comparing it to Ben 10.

Never watched it. Funny story actually; off the top of my head I don't recall the exact year that Avatar premiered, but I do recall seeing the earliest commercial for it having a dragon or sea serpent or something in it, so I figured fuck yeah let's do this.

Keep in mind that Nickelodeon was never my preferred network as a child, my TV was more or less permanently fixed at Cartoon Network, buuut I watched television religiously (borderline no exaggeration) as a child, so functionally there's no reason why I couldn't watch Avatar and catch something like 95% of the episodes. The issue is, I watched the first episode, there are no dragons, and that was it for me. I think aside from like 30 seconds of a season 3 episode I never watched a single episode of Avatar as it was airing.

March 17 - 2024 Sunday

This morning I had to wait for the hot water heater to warm up since it's broke and I have to keep flipping power to it. Then I did the dishes and had to take a quick shower. For breakfast I made hash browns out of a potato with spam, onions, and bell peppers. I spent the first part of my morning reading Atlas of the Heart but just the first couple bits of the first chapter that covered stress, overwhelm, and fear. The overwhelm bit advised that the only way to deal with it is to not-engage for a bit, essentially take a break. So I kept that in mind. Then I worked on my vaporwave song for a few hours. It's definitely taking longer than I thought. I worked on it with Forsen on in the background. After a bit of learning, I took a break for some 'me time', did my dishes, and worked on the song for just a little more before lunch. For lunch I made rice with smoked ham, onions, and mixed veggies. I've finally come up with a great way to prepare rice and whatever vegetables I have, I really just needed to start including stock. Either chicken or beef currently. Its a pretty easy and healthy meal. After lunch I hopped onto Helldivers with Dv. We had a long conversation about how things are going in our lives and turned out we got similar stuff going on. It was basically a big rant session for both of us and talk about how we can do better or how things should be. I left to take a break before Ds became free. Squeez was streaming Super Mario 3d World which was a good watch. I snacked on some doritos and waited for Ds who was finishing up some Just Dance. When we called, I played MLP: A Maretime Bay Adventure which turned out to be a very simple and cozy game. She worked on her writing some and ended up sharing pics from FWA based on whats happening at TFF with the crying baby ad meme. In bed we did puzzles, she read me Monster High, and I played Kingdom Hearts. When she fell asleep I just watched more Squeex. Had to do the water heater thing again for my dishes.

Today I turned my usual morning loneliness into an opportunity to actually be alone. Didnt help that there weren't even any streams to watch. I tried to stay focused on making that song and just enjoying how I'm not working or stressing. I felt okay as long as I could remember that I have friends and always will. Also I know I name dropped in the past but I'll try to remember to shorten names to just 2 letters for the future.

So when I heard Roosterteeth shut down, I was debating on whether to make this post or not.

The last post I made was…

Wow, that was a year ago. A year ago I left RWBY because I lost interest in the show after my Weaboo self rose back from the dead. Not only that, but the more I thought about the show, the more I realized

“Wow that show wasn’t as good as people made it out to be.”

Throughout my RWBY fanself, I’ve done a lot of cringe things and decided to leave because: what was the point of sticking around and Criticizing RWDE and other RWBY critics who had some awful takes if I wasn’t interested in the show. (Fun fact, my memes are apparently popular in Facebook?)

It’s why I debated on making this post and decided: might as well. End it fully.

RWBY is a strange show. It’s neither good nor is it bad. It’s more…Mediocre. It’s not bad because the writers tried and did make a few good writing choices at times and didn’t go full on “Power fantasy!!!” (For those who think Jaune is Miles Luna self insert, go watch/read Isekais. Those are a different story). To be frank, as I thought about RWBY and its writing, I realized “RWBY was never as good as people made it out to be.”

RWBY, I feel, was never meant to be a fucking masterpiece like ATLA, Paranoia Agent, or Serial Experiments Lain. RWBYs more like Hellsing. It’s not thought-provoking, it’s more for fun. Now that’s not to say Miles and Kerry made some weird choices, like Faunus Racism and whatever happened in Atlas…

[Quick note if you want to write stuff on this: make sure to do research like reading books, looking at history, and reading up on websites (don’t just use Wikipedia kids). Oh and use appropriate timing and tone, that’s all]

So did Miles and Kerry write weird shit in RWBY? Yes. Should they get criticized. Yes. Were they planning on writing stuff like this on the long run? Maybe but I’m more leaning towards no.

RWBY was more of a show created by anime fans. Monty thought “hey wouldn’t it be cool if four girls fought and did cool things.” And with Miles and Kerry’s help created RWBY. RWBY, from what I saw, was more like a fighting game. “Fighting first, story second”

Now RWBY has been on a weird ride ever since Monty died, but I saw it more as Kerry and Miles carrying Monty’s torch. And that’s why I respected it. It could’ve just ended there, but they kept going. Also it’s worth noting that there was NO story thought of whatsoever, even when Monty was alive. It was more of a friend project that created a fanbase and franchise.

I came back to write this post because it was an interesting series that intrigued me back then. I was shocked that Roosterteeth shut down. The company that created Achievement hunter, Red vs blue, Camp Camp, and among other things.

Was it ever planning on coming? Ehhh…

Sort of. Roosterteeth did a lot of weird things and bad. But, be honest, how many companies do this? EA, Mappa, etc. Roosterteeth I feel had it coming since their founders were leaving left and right leaving very weird leaderships. And Roosterteeth was gonna be no exception to this. It’s why animation companies tend to be a pain in the ass for animators, especially in Japan. The thing about Roosterteeth is that it was more of an indie company, which later got swallowed by Warner, so I feel it was more prone to getting hurt worse. Roosterteeth was a sack of shit, but people tried to create content for people, even if they faced horrible harassment. No matter the issues that Roosterteeth had, may we never forget the memories and legacy they left behind. Every thing has an ugly side, that’s what makes us human. Roosterteeth had an interesting story with ugly and good, but it brought us memories and moments we may never get back. It’s a sad thing. But it’s life.

{Wanted to make a quick note: I read a RWBYcritics comment making fun of Canonseeker punching the air, which is funny because I forgot about Canonseeker a long time ago, so it’s kind of funny he lives rent free on some peoples head, even if he did bad shit back then}

Well, this is where it ends. I made this post to vent out my feelings about the situation and to finally close the book for good. I’ve might made some mistakes or bad calls, so I’d be interested in reading criticism, even if I don’t stick in tumblr for a while. Till then, farewell RWBY fandom and Roosterteeth, thanks for some of the memories.

22. Pro or anti e-readers? Why?

Pro! I’m a fan of anything that increases access to books/info/stories. (But I’m not a fan of DRM and other bullshit that comes up with corporations owning everything that enables access, so it’s a little complicated, fuck kindle)

Personally, being able to get ebooks digitally during pandemic/lockdown times has been so so important to me. I prefer the feeling of paper books, and screens can trigger my migraines so I try to avoid overuse, but I really love being able to jump right into whatever ARC I’m reading on my phone when I’m out and waiting in line or something.

43. Are you the kind of person who reads several books at once or the kind of person who can only read one book at a time?

I read SO MANY at a time, but usually one main fiction book, and often I’ll get to the point where that’s the only thing I can focus on.

Currently in my rotation:

- Cloud Atlas (reading so I can watch the movie as part of our Wachowskis watch through)

- Summer by Ali Smith (I’ve been reading the Seasonal Quartet along with the seasons)

- One new release for every month of the year

- Book Riot’s Read Harder challenge

- Theoretically, a book off my to-read shelf at home, one for each letter of the alphabet, by author’s last name

- Non-fiction on various topics I love

- Books by Indigenous authors/art books for work

- As many new graphic novels as possible for an ALA thing

- Buddy reads with Jo

- Spanish learning books

- Dracula Daily

- Theoretically, books my spouse and I are reading out loud to each other (we’ve got 3 on hold currently)

tumblr 2022, huh

TOP 22: Glad to see so many things I recognise and like, like ST and TOH. Happy to see my boy Steve up there, though it’s probably thanks to him being shipped with a certain metalhead, but ships talk later. This was a weird year for me, got into many new fandoms (ER, TOH, ST among many), cooled down on old ones, but hey, still alive for more bullshit - and isn’t that the tumblr motto of life? More of my thoughts below.

anime and manga: So shocked (sarcasm) to see BNHA and SXF so high... Dunno, stopped caring about the first one so long ago and quickly got bored of the second one. Honestly, I'm not really in these fandoms anymore, I just don’t vibe with so many ongoing shows. Cheers to KNY being on the list though. And Witch Hat Atelier LET’S GOOOOOOO

anime and manga characters: Same as above, fell out of love with so many series... So funny to see Reigen up there. My boy Dabi is #10, fuck yeah, so much higher than his milquetoast little brother! Can’t believe Sasuke is top 15, that’s sound like a joke.

memes: I’m out of touch with memes, man. I only remember “live XYZ reaction”, the blorbo discourse, morbin’, and that fucking movie.

movies: I still haven’t seen No Way Home cause they’re not putting it on vod ugh. Glad to see Encanto on top, I think it deserves it (though I have mixed feelings about so much Disney on the list). LOTR being on the list made me so happy. And Do Revenge is #12! Very good, it’s a cool movie. And it’s fucking hilarious that American Psycho closes the fifty.

music: So happy to see The Amazing Devil on the list, their music is bomb. I also saw my beloved Florence on the list, as well as FOB, P!ATD and Zeppelin. nice :^)

ships: I don’t like By/ler, simply cause I don’t like Mike. Give Will a different boyfriend please. And ofc Ste/ddie and Ron/ance are there... Idk man, I prefer He/llche/er and Jan/ce. I know these are hetero and you may think I’m hom/opho/bic or some shit, but fuck you, I just don’t think those characters suit each other. Har/ringr/ove is still on the list, it’s such a nice minifandom so it fills my heart with joy. Honestly, the list has pretty much all the major ships of ST fandom. De/st/iel still going strong lol (have I mentioned I still haven’t watched this show?). Lumity FTW, ecstatic to see my girls so high. I’m not really big on Hu/nt/low, but maybe it’ll grow on me with S3. Surprised Ge/rask/ier is still so high, seeing as S2 was another fuck you to their relationship.

tv shows: No surprise that ST is top. Glad to see TOH and ATLA on the list. Surprising to see LOTR:ROP so low (or is it?). Another surprise was seeing She-ra on the list - don’t get me wrong, great show, but didn’t know the fandom was still alive, happy for them though.

video games: Colour me absolutely not surprised that I have no interest in the top 10 games that mainstream cares about. Good for Stray to be so high, need to watch a playthrough of it sometime. It’s so strange to see Skyrim on the list but no Elden Ring - they even used Ranni’s hat on the graphic. I think The Quarry is there mainly thanks to their big promos and stuff. It was a good game, not my cup of tea though. Ecstatic to see Bloodborne still going strong. A bit of a surprise to see RE8 still there, but maybe DLC livened up the fandom a bit. We’ll go crazy with RE4 remake in March, don’t worry.

video game characters: Oh yeah, let me see... Once again, disappointed with top 10. Didn’t know F/NA/F was so strong on tumblr. I can’t believe there’s so many Twis/ted Won/derl/and characters there. Not even Ranni or Malenia? Wtf??? I recognise almost nobody here, and like nobody at all. There’s only maybe 12 games between 50 characters, that is so weird. Wait, I just saw Sora made it, that’s fucking hilarious.

And about their ST post: I saw that cheeky dig at Billy, but can’t sense if it’s malicious or not. Also, they called Steve a dad. No, he’s a mum, get it right.
