Day 24 of Fishuary!
Prompt: Fish Dinner
—
Decided to go a different direction with this one! Alaskan salmon, particularly chinook (oncorhynchus tshawytscha), are very commonly consumed fish worldwide. They have many names!
They’ve been introduced to the Great Lakes after proving effective in controlling the invasive population of alewife in Huron and Michigan. These guys can get over a hundred pounds. A HUNDRED POUNDS.
