Im making a big ass thing on notion

Basically, it is a giant catalog of therian and otherkin gear.

From ears and tails, to collars, to wings, to horns, to fins, to clothes, all of it. (Everything I could find at least.)

I have it separated by therian/otherkin, canine/cat/aquatic ect and devinekin/demonkin/darkkin ect.

Then, it's by type. Wild cat/domestic cat/other. Wolf/domestic /other. Ect.

Then it's by exact species. Timber wolf/snow wolf/coastal wolf. Stuff like that. For absolutely everything.

I'm trying to get as many kins as possible so everyone can use this, so please, comment your kin so I can make sure it's there. (Especially if it's a rare one!!)

ill add links and pictures, make sure they are not from harmful fur farms, make sure the quality is good, all of that stuff.

But yeah. I'm super excited for when it's done tbh, and I hope a lot of people see this. (Please reblog :'))

Reasons someone may identify as alterhuman/otherkin:

They believe they are spiritually anchored to their 'kintype

They believe they have been reincarnated and were their 'kintype in a past life

They feel like they are a part of their 'kintype in a familial way

They feel as if part of their soul is their 'kintype

They have been dehumanized in the past and now their 'kintype has attached to their identity

They have non-human system members/headmates

Their neurodivergence causes them to associate themselves with their 'kintype

They experience clinical lycanthropy

They find peace when they ID as their 'kintype

All of these are valid and important parts of our community. Spiritual and psychological alterhumans are important and the reasons for your identity as alterhuman are often complex! They are equally welcome here. :)

i made a therian necklace :D

i've never done anything like this before, so i'm pretty happy with how it turned out

process below cut:

The first thing I did was trace a circle on some cardboard. I then cut out that circle and coloured it black with a marker, then I drew the therian symbol on top with a white gel marker. Once that was dry, I painted over top of it on both sides with modge podge (a sealant/glue). I used several coats of modge podge on it in order to give it durability. Then, using a safety pin, I poked a tiny hole at the top of the charm. I used wire to make a support for the charm: I made a support in the back by criss-crossing it over the charm many times, then bending it over the edges slightly in the front. To finish it off, I twisted the wires together at the top to form a loop. I had to use pliers for that. I hope this helps :D

i love being an alterhuman. i love how this community is, how supportive it is, i love the alterhuman community. i love every canine, feline, bird, bug, fish, angel, demon, goblin, fairy, elf, ghost, alien, reptile, fictionkin, dragon, monster, crustacean ive ever met. i hate how i cant be in the right body, if that be being transgender or that im just not human, i love how i know how im not alone in my experiences. i love seeing other alterhumans be happy and realizing who they are. i love the alterhuman community, and i love being apart of it.

i don't think ill ever NOT be mad about how unfulfilling swimming is in a human body. literally no matter how or where you choose to swim it's always restrictive and takes so much out of you, even if you're good at it. not doin it for me.. we NEED to revert back to fish as a species

Pictures from our trip to the aquarium! This was the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga TN. Its my favourite aquarium I have been to so far, and its super cool because there are 2 separate buildings for the salt and fresh water fish. There were lots of really cool guys that we saw, my favourite is always the Arapaima (Pirarucu). They had a touch pool for sting rays and a little shark, and a touch pool for little sturgeons.
