S1 E19 Agents of Shield 10th Anniversary

10 years ago today we…

Saw jealous Fitz appear again, (I love his face after Trip interrupts him! So cute!)

Watched in anticipation to see who would pass the lie detector test. I loved this scene!

Had our jaws drop, just like Fitz, as it’s revealed who Coulson’s girlfriend was. (Remember him mentioning her to Pepper in Avengers? That’s her!)

Were saddened as May leaves.

Learned what happened to Koenig and see Skye learn the truth about Ward. (Chloe Bennet did such an amazing job in this scene and the one in the bathroom!)

Saw Coulson finally say goodbye to Audrey. (A sweet but sad scene.)

Ended the episode with FitzSimmons, Trip, and Coulson wondering what happened to the rest of there team.

Almost done with season 1! And we just getting started on this roller coaster!

Angsty April, Day 23 Prompt- Sick @angsty-april

Fitz is seven years old and holed up in his room. His vision is blurry and he feels hot to the touch, breathing hurts and he's not sure that he's alright.

Dad won't let any healers come because that would mean he'd have to explain how Fitz got like this which would mean exposing the fact that he'd been sending his son out in the Forbidden Cities. Something that he wasn't allowed to do.

So Fitz is in his room, burning up. With not a single person by his side. No Mom, no Dad, no Alden, no Biana. Just him, lying in his bed which feels far too big, all alone. Not a single person to hold him or help him move from his bed to the bathroom when he feels bile crawling up his throat.

Just Fitz, all alone while the world moves on without him.

You know, *puts writers cap on* part of the reason that fans tend to pit Keefe and Fitz's characters against each other (besides the whole love triangle thing) might be because they're both the closest this story has to a deuteragonist.

Keefe has a lot of agency with his role in the story, is the side character with the most POVs (2 short stories, half of a novella, and the upcoming book 9.5), his mother is one of the biggest antagonists, is intertwined a lot with the main plot, and serves as a foil to Sophie.

Fitz was the main character of the original short story that keeper is based on, one of the two characters appearing in that story, was the second important character introduced in the series proper, introduced the elvin world to Sophie, and has had a clear and prominent emotional arc spanning the entire series.

I feel like depending on who you see as the character that closest fills the role of the deuteragonist, changes how you feel about each character.

Both of those actually lol. Although stitz is like a legitimate one for me yk. My main ship for them.

But most of those are ones I could legitimately love and see working. My favorite crackship that I wouldn't actually want in canon (but I wouldn't be mad if it was) would be bianaxjensi. Like it's definitely not serious to me but also. Yes.
