Mr. Coke and Ms. Ice Cream!
These two characters are the representation of my partner and me, in the Cuphead universe.

I’ve lived long enough to see people into Squash & Stretch animation again & I don’t get the attraction.
I grew up with the old Fleischer Studio and other Squash & Stretch cartoons on Saturday and Sunday mornings and weekday afternoons (cartoons from the 30s were cheap for TV stations to run). They were ancient even in the 60s-70s. Their “humor” was bizarre, things left over from Victorian theater and 20s vaudeville.
I’m stunned that animators are into it now. Maybe they didn’t grow up with it, so it’s exotic and new to them.
Watching clips from Cuphead and of Spinel feels really, really weird. Like the past and the present had a collision.

Introducing the Little Devil Darling himself, Bendy! From the popular video game franchise!
Sorry that I haven’t been posting here as much lately. Still working on some new drawings to post here, so definitely look forward to that. Hope this helps to make up for the inactivity.
So, this is a redesign of the character, obviously. I wanted to change his appearance so that he matches the same style and appearance as the classic black-and-white rubber hose cartoons that he’s based entirely off of. Drew inspiration (no pun intended) from none other than Fleischer Studios, who were the most popular for this kind of art form, and I do say, it 100% matches my thoughts and expectations as to what this character should look like.
Currently working on redesigning the remaining two BATIM characters, Alice Angel and Boris the Wolf, to match the same appearance and look as Bendy’s redesign. Will post them on here when I feel satisfied with the results. Until then, enjoy this cute rubber hose redesign of this Little Devil Darlin’.
