i’m very late to the party (as always) because this show ended in 2021, but line of duty absolutely slaps, i just watched 4 seasons of it and got absolutely hooked

also, very aware this is an unpopular opinion, but apparently i’m full of those but i just love flemnott?? platonic or romantic, idc idc, i just love them and they’re the core of the show for me

i know people are obsessed with flemson but i haven’t met jo yet and i learned she only appears in the last season, at first i was very excited about them but now… i know myself and her appearing only at the end won’t allow me to get that attached to her or to them

aaanyway, just wanted to say i’m loving it soooo much, omg

I’ve just seen the line up for Strictly this weekend… a couple dancing to the theme from Line of Duty and a couple dancing to the theme from Doctor Who…. Could be an interesting night 😅😅😅

I really thought I wasn’t going to like Line of Duty at all and I was only watching it to get to season 6 so that I could see Perry Fitzpatrick, but Flemnott got me!! I need more of those soulmates!!

okay, so while i was obsessed with line of duty and flemnott, i ended up pulling the scripts to read them because i love doing that and seeing the little details and i’m sorry but thay absolutely were not supposed to be platonica from the start. at least not from steve’s side. look at this!!

first of all, how would it be possible for them to be completely platonic when in their first scene together, the first thing steve does is check kate out, like this is already pretty obvious by watching the show and the way he follows her around like a puppy, but the actual script, right there, is pointing out to us exactly that.

and he tries the whole intimacy thing by calling her by her first name since the beginning and all and at first she’s being so nice, but my woman deserves an oscar because the moment she finds out he’s from ac her face drops and it’s hilarious.

now, you may claim that they pulled that just because they wanted to show that steve would chase anyone from the opposite sex but i don’t think that’s it at all from the way their story progresses.
