first flight back working after a double ear infection….gate agents close the door before checking with pilots or giving us paperwork lol and then people didn’t want to communicate to see if the phone I handed the agents was the phone maintenance wanted to re-open the door and look for and then I broke a whole bunch of glassware since I’m working first class

First time I have worked with an ALL FEMALE CREW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Female Captain, First Officer and two flight attendants 👩‍✈️👩🏻‍✈️👩🏽‍✈️👩🏼‍✈️

I have been a flight attendant for 7 years now and I seen/work with all male crews all the time so IM sorry I find this really exciting!???????

The other flight attendant has been here for 20 years and she said this is her SECOND time she’s ever worked with an all female crew 😭

twitter decided to recommend me a plane post, which is always exciting, since i’m a flight attendant. but this post was about group of scientists crashing a plane in 2012, so figure out the highest survivability seat. and while cool idea on paper, and certainly cool idea for people on twitter that latched onto it - this. is. bullshit. and i can’t believe i even have to say this.

so, here is the thing right: your best seat for survival depends on the crash/accident.

in the experiment they did? sure, front fuselage impact means less damage for the back of the aircraft. but what about this, asiana 214, with badly performed landing they have literally lost their ass, and the people that died were sucked out in the back. or this aeroflot accident from 2019, which haunts me to this day, where 41 people in the back died because people on the front took their luggage with them and slowed the evacuation. and these are just examples.

tldr:

there are no “safer” seats in the plane, as horrible as it sounds, either you are lucky or you aren’t.

don’t be an asshole and don’t take your stuff during the evacuation.

plane travel is still the safest way of traveling. happy flying :)
