what is flipnotecore?

this post is basically just to consolidate my two posts abt flipnotecore on my main blog and make it a little easier to understand! its gonna be long so brace urself- 0_0

flipnotecore is an aesthetic based around the late 2000s/early-to-mid 2010s era of the internet because i want to get the good times back through my own nostalgia, and it crosses over heavily with webcore and a little bit with scene.

this includes:

those youtube tutorials with notepad tellling u how to get free club penguin membership with dreamscape by 009 sound system blasting in the bg recorded on unregistered hypercam 2

online mmos like club penguin, webkinz and moviestarplanet

liking nightcore and making bad amvs unironically

popular music and edm from around that time and also parry grip

both the ds/wii era and the 3ds/wii u era simultaneously anything goes

minecraft with the most wonderful building skills ever (step aside grian i made a gold block i tried to pass off as a mansion)

youtubers like stampy, dantdm.. basically just classic mcyt in general

making art in mspaint and animations in scratch/flipnote hatena

random xD humor

trollface memes and just earlier memes in general

older youtube works like nyan cat, the duck song, charlie the unicorn, battle for dream island, etc.

windows xp/windows 7

pictochat

ds and wii shovelware that was so bad it was good half the time but u were a kid u were fine playing my amusement park/digging for dinosaurs 2 pack on nintendo ds

toys like monster high dolls, webkinz stuffed animals, and squinkies

angry birds, fruit ninja, doodle jump, bloons tower defense, and similar games

so yeah thats basically it! i hope yall enjoy nostalgia vibing as much as i do! stay weird! :3
