Aaron doesn't laugh much, but when he does, it's always very sincere and cute laughter. His nose crinkles and his voice gets a little higher given how deep it is. The water-controller moroi had just finished telling them about the new Guardian in court, Dimitri Belikov, and how he was always so cold and strict. Apparently, Belikov's moroi, Ivan Zekklos, had died while he was on vacation permision, and the damphir had been required by Tasha Ozzera and moved into Court with her.

"I don't think there's a woman here he's interested in, and I've seen plenty trying to walk up to him and flirt in these last five days, but nothing! Don't worry Rose, its not about you" Mia kept saying, unaware of what was brewing in Rose's mind.

Rose walked up to him, thinking of a dozen pick up lines that would get him a guy in a pub. But this was not a pub, and that guy was a living legend, so she decided to start simple.

"Hey, you're Guardian Belikov, right?" She said, trying to keep her voice friendly but sweet.

Rose frowned. He hadn't even looked up from his book, even though he was sitting alone in a table for two without any food in front of him. Reading, without looking at her, who, by they way, was looking beautiful on her free day.

"Alright, I came here because I know you're one of the bests and I wanted you to train me from time to time" she didn't even know where that had come from.

But right as Dimitri opened his mouth, someone touched Rose's shoulder.

"I see you've met Dimka, Rose" a woman voice sounded from behind her. When Rose turned around, she smiled. Tasha Ozzera, in her typical jeans and top, was smiling down at her. Rose loved Tasha. She was one of the few moroi she could tolerate most of the time, and her scars and her story made her everything Rose would have wanted in an older sister.

"Do you know Tasha?" Belikov asked, surprised.

"Of course we know each other, Dimitri. Her moroi is Lisa Dragomir, Lucas' girlfriend. She's been friends with both since they were in the Academy, we met during winter about two years ago, remember Rose?"

Rose would remember that winter until the day she died, specially Mason, so brave yet so stupid, driving them all into danger, only to die when it seemed they had almost saved themselves. She would remember his face when the strigois killed him until she was buried in the ground. Instead of saying that, she forced a smile.

"Tasha and I have agreed we totally need to go hunting Strigois together at some point."

If Tasha noticed the lapse on her face, she didnt react to it. Dimitri, on the other hand, had that curious expression again on his face.

"I'm really happy you two met each other, I knew you would become great friends with my boyfriend, Rose" Tasha smiled, hugging her.

This time, because of lack of practice, it took Rose a little bit more to keep her face straight. She was going to murder Mia. She was sure Mia knew the truth and she just wanted to embarrass Rose as a joke, but she was so dead. Good news was, Dimitri was marking the page of his book right then so he didn't see her face at that. He closed the book and looked up to Tasha again.

"Rose was just asking me to train her while in Court, to improve her skills with me".

Well, fuck.

"Oh my god, this is a great idea! You two have to be the best two Guardians here, it makes total sense that you train together!" Tasha looked even more excited now, and for the first time Rose cursed her openness and happiness at all times. Dimitri looked like he wanted to argue, but Tasha kissed him and turned around to look at Rose again.

"He trains everyday anyway, he could use some company in the meanwhile, specially since I can no longer train with him, now that I'm part of the queen's team of advice"

"You're what? But the Queen is..." Rose was getting more and more shocked the long the conversation went.

"And old, lying, conservationist witch, yeah, I know. I think she's trying to 'keep her enemies closer' or something, but I'm not complaining if I can push some good changes into it" Tasha smiled, shrugging.

"Tasha, you shouldn't say those things outloud..." Dimitri looked around, as if someone was about to stab her with a fork for cursing the Queen. But she laughed, careless "Dimka, dear, she knows what I think of her. She's cruel and a liar, but she's not stupid or deaf or blind". Rose and her laughed, but Belikov seemed to get more distressed with every word. And yet, Rose observed, his face remained almost unchanged, like a marble sculpture. Someone that had payed less attention would have seen it.

"Well, I should leave you two to eat alone, I'll go to my table know that I got what I wanted" Rose smiled while getting up, like she wasn't stuck with more training lessons right when she thought she was finnally free. Damn her and her weird excuses, and damn Mia as well.

Dimitri frowned but nodded, and Tasha told her goodbye as she sat in the same chair, smiling wide and holding Dimitri's hand.

Rose managed to walk normally to her table, and then lost it right in front of Mia.

"Im so sorry, Rose, I didnt know she was dating Tasha until Lucas came, I swear!"

"How old are you? Flirting bet, really?" Lucas seemed to be the only one in the table that found it funny. Eddie seemed to be worried he'd have to stop Rose from attacking Mia, and Lisa was relieved Tasha hadn't realize what was going on.

"Im stuck with training lessons! I dont need training lessons! I'm already the best, and I already have limited free time. Not that I care, because it's Lisa, but come on!" Rose whispered, trying to sound mad and outraged but remain unheard at the same time.

"Can't you tell him you've changed your mind?" Asked Lisa, always diplomatic.

"And say what? That I want more free time? He's one of the bests guardians in the world, some guardians call him Daí, I can't let him have a bad impression of me, Lisa!" Rose murmured, angrier. "He'll think I'm lazy or unconsistent. Now I have to go and be the best student he's seen."

"You think you can be a good student with him? Its no like you were the most rule follower in the academy, exactly" Lucas said, smiling wide at Rose's issue.

"I'm not going to risk every Guardian here hearing I'm bad at my job. The Queen already hates me, she'd have me in the filing room forever if Lisa hadn't been so insisting she wanted me, I can't let her have more against me. I'm going to be the best damn student Belikov's had, and he's going to tell everyone, Queen included, I'm the best Guardian he's seen".

Major Human Characters:

Cora Harper Cora Harper is a human soldier who trained with mysterious asari commandos. Talented and smart, Harper is a consummate professional who finds herself always looking for a trusted mentor to give her guidance and a path in life. She was a close friend of the Player's father--as close as anyone got--and can give insight into him even after his passing. Harper is a woman of few words: in a pinch, she prefers to let a bit of deadpan humour or a well-placed shot do the talking.

Suvi Anwar Suvi Anwar is the Tempest's resident science officer. A brilliant physicist, she was recommended for the Pathfinder Initiative, and jumped at the chance to explore the wonders of a new galaxy. Initially attached to the NEXUS as part of the team responsible for the data collection and analysis of the conditions in the Heleus Cluster, Suvi campaigned to become part of the Pathfinder's scouting team, in order to expand her investigation of the cluster. Excitable, may occasionally talk to herself. Brain goes fast, mouth runs to keep up.

Harry Carlyle Harry is initially the team doctor on the Pathfinder team, but then swaps job with Lexi. Harry remains on the Hyperion and helps watch over the sibling. Harry is in his late 40s, easy-going, and game for anything.

Ryder Sr. Father of the player character. Tough, no nonsense ex-soldier-turned-Pathfinder.  He's a commanding presence.

Ellen Ryder Ellen Ryder is the wife of Alec Ryder, the original human Pathfinder who dies in M1 (and mother of player characters, Scott and Say).  Ellen met Alec when he was doing his N7 training on Earth.   Ellen was a scientist involved in the early stages of human biotic research, delving into the use of implants as a way of harnessing biotic abilities. At the time, this was very primitive and often dangerous work.  Alec and Ellen married, but he was then deployed to the First Contact War, leaving Ellen as something of a soldier's wife, moving around wherever Alec was posted. Next up was the Citadel, where Alec was ambassador and Ellen raised their two children, Scott and Sara for a number of years on the station. On the Citadel, Ellen found new horizons opening up in her field, with the galactic knowledge of biotics far in advance of the work she'd been doing on Earth. But there was a dark side too. Ellen experienced the onset of a serious degenerative disease. Its root cause could be traced back to her early work on biotics on Earth, at a time when the danger of exposure to eezo was little understood.  Because her illness was so rare, there was no known cure. The family moved back to Earth to care for her and Alec devoted himself to developing SAM as a way of curing her.  Alec enlisted Ellen in the project, and together they leveraged her knowledge of implants, melding it with Alec's understanding of A.I. The project consumed Alec, and he became a distant and aloof figure to both his wife and children. Whereas Ellen tried to put on a brave face and remain a committed mother - she eventually ended up the de facto "single parent" in place of their mostly absent father. Despite her disease, she remained a loving and committed mother, caring deeply about her two children. Eventually, her condition worsened to the point where it was too late, death was inevitable. She was willing to accept this, but Alec was not.  He loved her too much.  Despite their sometimes rocky relationship they still felt passionate about each other, even to the very end.

Race: Human A character in the Alec Ryder memory flashbacks. This is the Mysterious Benefactor -- the secret backer of the entire Andromeda Initiative who originally hired Alec. She's a woman, though her face will remain hidden in this game and we'll only hear her voice.

Sloane Kelly Sloane Kelly also known as the "Outcast Queen" is a "Robin Hood" figure who leads the Outcast Legion pirate faction by holding the spoils of war in one hand and a loaded gun in the other. A hardened survivor from the Nexus rebellion, she holds a deep personal grudge against the Andromedia Initiative--and, by association, the Pathfinder. South African. Attractive but tough. Like Furiosa from Mad Max.

Reyes Vidal Reyes Vidal presents himself to the player as a smuggler and contact of the Angaran Resistance, but he is secretly the Charlatan, one of the two major pirate lords vying for power in Kadara Port. He is charming and driven, but ultimately selfish and values himself above others. Casual, friendly with a flirty undertone. A very slight Chilean accent. Han Solo handsome--rugged but put together.

Dr. Ryota Nakamoto Ryota Nakamoto once worked for the Outcast Legion, but when Sloane turned what should have been a medical breakthrough into a drug, he quit and started up a free clinic in the slums of Kadara Port. He is Japanese, but doesn't have an accent.

Humans of the Nexus:

Jien Garson This is Jien Garson, the founder of the Andromeda Initiative. A charismatic visionary billionaire ala Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk, or Steve Jobs. She is seen in the video "info wall" in beginning of game. She will also be a character in the MEA prequel novel.

William Spender The son of an influential investor of the pathfinder initiative, Spender was assigned to the Pathfinder Initiative as an administrator. Though he was not competent, his ability as a politician was such that he managed to preserve his position within the Initiative until the departure of the arks. Woken up during the arrival in the Heleus Cluster, he became the director of colonial affairs’€™ assistant more though lack of personel than anything else. His propensity for dodgy politics and behind the scenes dealing (and lying) continued, though a fatal miscalculation led to him becoming a pawn of the Nexus Exiles. He subsequently contributed to the departure of the krogan clan among other issues. He complies with Tann's requests thus is in good odor with him. Addison knows he is less than qualified and suspects he had a part in the krogan leaving, but no one has any idea of his involvement with the exiles.

Cryo Deployment Administrator Vladimir Brecka Dedicated but long-suffering assistant to the Colonial Director. Generally good natured, but knows his place in the order of things, and wants better. Knows that a good job will lead to better things for everyone, so he grins and bears it. Light Romanian Accent.

Doctor Camden Chief botanist and manager of Hydroponics who left for Andromeda after the Divorce From Hell. Camden is brisk and fussy, annoyed that people dismiss him as "a gardener" when his work in Hydroponics keeps everyone still breathing, eating, and drinking--nothing important, right? He nurses that grudge like a favourite teddy bear, but underneath it all he's deeply concerned that a thin green line separates the Nexus from life and death. Akin to the Doctor from ST: Voyager.

Yolanda Carter Operations Manager. A seemingly quiet and posed woman, Yolanda will rain the fires from hell down upon any unsuspecting fool who presumes to think her request for this or that item is superfluous. While some are intimidated by her, having fallen foul of her before, all respect her ability to get shit done. She works with Vetra and the two make a scary team when they are like-minded on acquiring something for the station.

Ada DeYoung A young technician working under Kesh on the Nexus. She is optimistic and tends to take everything with great aplomb. Kesh sends her to fix problems that no one can figure out, as the joke among the engineers is that the bugs then to happen when she's around. She is excellent at tracking down power issues within any given sort of network.

Sung-Soo Hwang Technician. An engineer working under Kesh in the engineering department. He is a hardware specialist who tends to be partnered with Ada more often than not due to their complementary skillsets and the fact that he takes the power outages Ada discovers with humor and has set up a countdown betting pool as to the next outage she tracks down.

Colonial Affairs Ops Lin. A young woman, asian, working the comms in the Colonial Affairs area. She's generally in charge of ensuring Addison is aware of on the spot reports when she's not at her desk, and managing the flow of information from settlements to the appropriate department head.

Humans on Meridian After the Last Mission:

Iora Pillay (Chief Operations) Iora Pillay (iora, not Lora) takes on the managerial position meant to temporarily organize Hub operations until a permanent leader is decided, then assist that leader in perpetuity. East Indian by way of the Citadel. Focused, careful. Respects the Pathfinder, but on some level considers their job "done." Very pro Nexus-as-new-Citadel. She is "second wave," one of the first of the humans "defrosted" after the Hyperion was placed.

Hunter Kerry (Chief Engineer) Hunter is heading up the planned deconstruction of the Hyperion, managing the balance between reuse and recycling. New Zealander. Plainspoken, tough as balls. Doesn't care about politics. Complains that accommodating aliens messes with construction, but then goes above and beyond to do it. He just wanted you to know. He's another second wave defrostee.

Darla vas Hyperion (Placements Officer) Darla vas Hyperion is in charge of assigning occupations as the Ark is slowly repurposed and the humans in stasis are awakened. Spent most of her life among Quarians, because her parents were diplomats.  Utterly used to ship-life and the specificity of roles that demands. Pale. Used to life in a sterile environment. Middle management, glad to be in HR and not farming. Idolizes the Pathfinder. Another second wave defrostee. Korean Heritage.

Chapter 1.

The original language of the spoken dialogue is Croatian.

Bzzt - bzzt - bzzt -bzzt - bzz…

Woken up by the first ring, incorrigibly irritated by the third, and contemplating the caller's murder by fourth, she answered sharply and coldly.

- What?-

She saw no reason to show any sign of amicability in her voice toward the caller, as she knew exactly who it was and what he wanted from her. Only one person would call her at 2 A.M.

- Job, stuck-up bit*h. Standard location. -

The voice over the phone answered her with as much venom as her question carried. Even though it was the last thing she wished to do, she simply answered.

- Be there in 5 minutes.-

She ended the conversation before the caller could say anything else. She found no need to listen to his bit*hing about her behavior towards grown ups. Even though his words have absolutely no impact on her, she found it too early to listen to his unnecessary whining.

Swiftly getting up, she turned the light on and grabbed a plain black long sleeve along with black jogging pants from her wardrobe. Then she opened the other wing and took out her socks and sneakers, both black.

Walking over to her desk she found and wrote on a small Fornax memo: I'll be back. Vladimir's having another panic attack. She got out of her room, turning of the lights and closing a door, and walked over to her parents bedroom, waking her mother up.

- I have to go Mother, be back in an hour, or so. -

Her mother, barely keeping herself awake nodded, and went back to sleep. She knew why Milka was going out and never questioned her. She knew where she was, but she had a slightly wrong idea of what she was doing, and Milka saw no need in correcting her. The less questions her mother asked, the safer she would be.

Exiting the house, she looked around standing in the dead silence of the rainy autumn night. She then proceeded toward Vladimir's house wondering what they got in store for her, and mostly why is it so urgent to summon her in the middle of the night.

Vladimir's house was just a dozen houses down her street so she reached it fairly quickly. Outside the house, the caller waited for her, smoking what she knew was weed. At the very bottom of the stairs she could smell the sweet stench of it. She, unsurprisingly, wasn't even mildly irritated by the fact that he was high and monitoring her on the job. She knew that it was his way of coping up with the outcome when she was finished.

- Ready to work, doll-face? - he asked seductively, earning no response from her. After all, Milka was accustomed to his inadequate behavior under the influence so she paid him little to no mind, as long as he did his part correctly.

- Good morning, Dalibor. Have you prepared the necessities? - she answered shortly while completely ignoring his flirty tone. Then she entered the house, and removed her coat, folding it neatly and placing near the fireplace  by the sofa. When she turned around, she saw him staring at her bottom, like a predator staring at his prey.

But they both knew that he was no predator, and that she was in no way a prey.

- So, the files? - she demanded coldly, - where are they?-

She sat on the sofa, while waiting for him to find them, again. The old age, along with pot, doesn't do him any favors. It's always the same story. One day he won't even know where he left his gun, let alone some files, she thought while watching him kneeling on the floor looking trough some files from her previous jobs.

- You should burn them all. In case the police starts sniffing around. - she mentioned.

- Yeah, yeah, .. Wait, found them!- he exclaimed proudly, while handing them over to her.

While she skimmed over the files, the 54-year-old man tried to read them over her shoulder, but miserably failed in doing so. The files contained some information on her job, that is, her subject. Some files extracted from the corrupt police force, some medical records, some poorly written report on the subject's family, job, rituals,...She smirked at the file, frightening the old man who went to mental Disneyland for a second.

- Alright, take me to him. - 

Milka asked Dalibor to take her there even though she already knew the place inside out. When they entered the basement, covered with what she knew was cutting edge modern sound isolation, Dalibor quickly showed her where the spare clothes were, and told her to give him a call when she was done. 

As he exited the basement, she switched her attention from him to her subject, Matej Kunival - the man who didn't pay his debts in time, and who was damned to suffering by her hand. The man was blindfolded and left to hang by wrists from the ceiling. I adore this position, it offers me various possibilities, she thought and proceeded to get herself ready. Since her job was unique, it required her to follow a set of rules she inflicted upon herself, and with which her employers were in agreement.

1. No perfume during interrogation, hair tied - not to leave evidence, gloves

2. Mask, in case the subject somehow gains the opportunity to see.

3. No unnecessary information revelation.

4. New equipment for every interrogation - can't share one candy between two man.

5. Have fun.

When she finished preparing herself, she turned around and ˝gently˝ punched the sleeping, hanging man in the groin to wake him up. The man, not expecting this wake up call, whined like a hurt animal and began trashing around. It didn't take him long to stop, after all he was frightened and tired from hanging in Vladimir's basement. Matej, from what Milka could guess was fear and the lack of the opportunity to do the thing normally, started urinating on himself and wetting the floor beneath him. She paid no mind to that as she came closer to the shivering man, so close in fact that he could fell her whispering tickling his ear:

- Shall we begin? -

Felix: After he's done laughing at you obnoxiously for several minutes. This guy, without thinking, grabs and yanks you from under the bed. Yet it did kinda hurt but... you're free right!? Felix did a good!?

Vladimir: He's laughing and your dumb. He might torment you a little (by a little, I mean a lot) before he lifts the bed with one hand and drags you out with the other. You won't live it down.

Stefan: oh he is so happy he can never forget this moment. He might make a few innuendos and flirty remarks. Of course he's going to help you... Yes he knows his hand is on your ass. Of course he's grinning. This is hilarious. He'll lift the bed before you crawl out. All the while he loudly proclaims that you are free and how you have to repay him- your hero.

Understandably, Nadri isn’t in any current relationship at the moment, but she has had quite a few back in the day whether or not they were canon to RP or simply crack one offs that were cute, but nothing behind them.  Please note I will list each one by order and what they were.  This list does include OCs and maybe links to active blogs. Inactive ones or ones I don’t remember or didn’t have a blog won’t have URLs.

Canon/ RP Relevant:

Rein Crezon [ @rein-the-blood-medic] - Very first relationship, though very rocky and ended up breaking apart due to some issues.

Ezreal (Summoner Timeline) - These two met in the halls of the Institute of War and started out as good friends that slowly turned into a flirty love affair.  Ended with broken trusts at the end of it.

Garen (Summomer and Cataclysm Timelines) - This was just a simple friends to lovers to forbidden couple.  Of course, this relationship has been reconned to a nightmare dream that played out for the duration of Nadri’s sleep within the Void.  In other words, the pairing never got that far in reality.  Just friends...

Malzahar [ @askmalzy] -  The most toxic ship of them all.  Just the love/hate relationship alone is the reason for it’s continual presence.  While not a true couple, these two will always be fated to deal with each other, either violently or within the Void.

Crack Ships:

Viktor:  This one came from a friend of mine where we mixed the idea that Nadri was offered to become one of Viktor’s acolytes for the Glorious Revolution.  Mixed bag.

Vladimir:  Silly amounts of chocolate and blood play.  It was cute, but wouldn’t last very long.

Jax:  This ship kinda ties into the Ezreal ship due to the complicated situation that played out between the three of them.  It was more a deep sibling friendship than romance.

Kassadin:  So, this falls into weird mentor/student catagory that I really don’t really like now, but at the time was kinda funny to see various Kassadins woo Nadri, despite obvious age gaps between the two muses.  It would be more awkward now that Kai’Sa has been revealed.
