So I have posted them before (as you can see in the corner) but I decided to redesign them. This will be the last one (other than the one I have in my inbox) that I will be accepting to draw characters in this au.

I hope its more easy to tell who's who since I decided to draw them like how they show up in their skin previews! They are still in the same order in the painted one but not the same pose. The colors are probably substitute to change but for now I still like it sooo

Finished Big Projects I forgot to post about

Here is my 5 Hoa Sen, which means 5 lotuses in vietnamese. Now you might be wondering “why is it called lotuses if i dont see any” that is a goof question that i will now answer. The lotus is often referred to in a lot of vietnamese peoms and song, the lotus is basically the vietnamese national flower. This whole painting is inspired by my culture, therefore it is named after the ltus flower. kay lets break down the painting. IN the very back, we see vietnam and the outline because the painting is about VN. Then we have the cherry blossom tree to repersent a very famous vietnamese holiday, Tet. OKsy, surprise surpirse, the 5 lady actually repersent me! :)

the first lady, is in a type of  Ao Dai that is only worn during her wedding ceremony. honestly, i have no idea how she repersents me, because i have no i idea if i even want to get married. I added her, because this tyoe of ao dai is ICONIC, LIKE ME, SHE REPERSENTS ME BC I AM INCONICCCC. okay seriosuly but this ao dai is improtant to vietnamese culture. I also have a dress that is extremely similar to her dress, without the hair piece.

the next girl, is wearing a type of ao dai that high school girls in vietnam wear, and she back ground is a vietnamese school, a lot of schools in vietnam look like this. I am in school, in high school, she is me

the middle, is actaully me, i draw her using a picture of myself i took during tet. the background is Cho Ben Thanh, located in Ho Chi Minh City. I am from Ho Chi Minh, and cho ben thanh holds a lot of memories for me, and it is one of the places i feel like my trip to vietnam will be incomplate without going at least 5 times. 

The girl in yellow is at a buddhist temple, which is coincidentally, is my religion. I also have that same exact dress....

the last one is a girl who lives in the countryside and she is there becasue i have family in the country side of vietnam. This country has some of my most ICONIC memories.

Doing this piece, my goal was to show off my culture and show people how beautiful it is.

okay so basically i has no meaning, i just wanted this to be created. Every since sophmore year, i’ve been asking for people to make a box with a flowwer bouquet, but no one wants to lose their sanity making this, so i did it, and i lost my sanity. I TOOK A BREAK OF 1+ Month.... like after every piece as fired, i didn’t work on it until 3 weeks before school started because i as going MAD. I spray paitning the flower, use modeling paste on the “piping/frosting” work, painted the frosting white, used gold ink for the drippy part, painted the inside of the box gold, and sealed evrything with a spray on top coat. OMG NOW THAT I AM WRITTING THIS!!! I FORGOT TO SEAL THE INSIDE OF THE BOX!!!!!!
