A quick chocochick made from a small fabric sample. This one is already sold but ended up buying a metre of this fabric so can hopefully make more chocobo variations in the future.
This is Sir Fluffybutt Fancypants III, he's a Brahma roo, about a year old. He's bigger than he appears on camera. I like him a lot :)
I've never had a rooster before (at least not since I was like 6) and I was surprised at how easy it was to introduce him to the flock. I was worried they wouldn't take to him well, or that he'd bully them, but he's fit right in! Unlike introducing a new hen, they took to him instantly. Ash and Star like to stick by his side, and he protects them from being bullied (Maisie can get a tad aggressive when it comes to feeding time haha)
It was a sad day when Buffy Fluffybutt packed her little chicken suitcase and left the coop for good. But never fear - her little sister Fiona Fluffybutt has come to fill that empty space. She’s just one more of the new faces you’ll see at @paradise_city_arts_festivals in Northhampton next weekend! Oh gods…here it comes…that insatiable hunger to hold a bunny…to nuzzle them close, to tell them they’re a precious little fluffy angel, to remind them that they’re safe in my arms, and to whisper I’ll love them forever and ever and ever…and kiss them on their little wiggly nose.
(Given I’m a furry this could go two different ways but both are wholesome, I promise.)
