I got there and was immediately greeted by a salesman in the lot. Friendly guy. Had to explain to him I was just here to check out that [motioning to the showroom]. "The CRV?" He asked. "No, that", pointing at the civic. "Oh, yeah, go check it out, open the doors, it's awesome!" he said, and headed off. I poked around the car a few minutes, alternating between making grunting noises and laughing. It has red flake in the black upper paint, was being used as a DJ booth by the salespeople in the showroom(that's the cellphone in the cup holder plugged into the aux in), and is low. Static ride, and super low. Appears to be quality work, if lacking taste.

When I inquired with an older salesman about buying the car, I was told they are not "really" selling it. It's just there for fun; no test drives, and anyone who would want to buy it would have to tow it off the lot as it is "as-is, show car only" due to the airbag "issue". Having made my paltry offer as required by reddiquite, I went on with my errands, a little bit wiser for the experience.

If ya have seen the mod, do you have any headcanons for the door salesman?

I have and I'm in love with it fjdfndnfndn. There's gonna be a Week 2 apparently so I'm excited for that. In the meantime here's hcs

Unless more canon info comes out, his name is James bc I said so.

Has minor claustrophobia so putting up curtains in entryways helps him feel less suffocated.

As a child, hyperactivity maaaay have caused him to hit his head on a lot of doorknobs (which is prob how he got the messed-up idea of "selling" customers their doors many years later).

Is currently trying to get visitation rights(tm) to his sons by proving that his business works.

In-universe explanation for the color-changing doors he uses when singing: It's actually just one color-changing door that he displays to distract people while he takes their actual door.

His sons love the Sonic franchise (hence the similarities between his songs and the Sonic game OSTs).

Usually upbeat and patient, yet stubborn too (as any salesman would be)

Likes thrifting and assembling stuff from scratch. He helped program his oldest son's (the gray robot) personality.
