The last two days I managed to work more efficiency, and I feel like I am on a good point. I am so happy when it starts to take form, at least in my mind, the basic shape of the board. So the platforms that the three main buildings will be standing are ready to receive the rocks that will surround them. I did not want the staircase to steal the show but when you have to introduce levels so you can have more space (and the diorama don't look completely flat) putting stairs to the scene is inevitable. I'm not saying that the stairs are not something interesting, on the contrary, but because in the first commission I made for Archvillain Games the stairs were one of the main points of the diorama, I would like to try something bit different to this one. Anyway when the details start coming in I will know if I achieved my goals or if the diorama chose differently.
