-He starts dealing because he wants to help Wayne out.

-Wayne is the MVP of both this book and Eddie's life.

-Higgins is the Hellfire sponsor, because Eddie's blackmailing him.

Other Thoughts:

This Eddie doesn't start sounding like Our Eddie until the very end.

Ronnie was cool.

The other girl was not.

Neither was the old man.

I liked the interaction with Will and Jonathan in the end.

This book will have little to no bearing on the Evil Woman-verse.

But she might need to acquire one of these. Just in case. 😉

I finally started reading Flight of Icarus and I’m so confused because it’s implying Wayne and Eddie don’t live together…even though Eddie literally flat out says he lives with Wayne in the first episode of the season?

Apparently Flight of Icarus revealed that Eddie is the lead singer of Corroded Coffin... so do you regret not making him the lead singer in your Old Haunts universe?

…Um no not all lol I don’t regret any decision I made for my fic that doesn’t happen to line up with a side novel that came out two years after the fact. Why would I?

Plus, that’s one of the choices that just doesn’t make sense at all. I’m guessing Caitlyn went with making him lead vocalist to have the whole going solo plot work (it still doesn’t, but I digress). Cause otherwise why would a recording label only want one guitarist for a metal album?

But yeah, there’s still no way Eddie can be both lead vocalist and lead guitarist. Not at the intensity and level he’s playing at. There’s a reason why they’re separate things. Plus he doesn’t sing a word of Master of Puppets. If he was a lead singer as well, I’d imagine he would probably have sung some of the lyrics during his performance in the Upside Down. Nope, he’s frontrunner, lead guitarist and background vocals as far as I’m concerned.
