i know i know i shouldnt be obsessed with internet numbers tm but the way ive been getting more traction on tumblr vs ig + twitter is really embarrassing like legit i just post on tumblr and ppl will like and reblog it but on instagram i have to fucking blast that shit and only like 10% of my followers will probably see it (i hate making reels) and then on twitter NO ONE sees it no matter if i post it at the right time or anything i try god i hate algorithms

ive been kinda bummed abt my art & reach lately cause i was reflecting on how my posts on twit rarely get more than 15-20 likes

so i ran a poll and literally only 52 of my 1147 followers see my posts on their feed

idk i put a lot of time into growing my following and staying active and whatever, and twit is where i've had the highest follower count like ever in my life so i kinda feel attached to it now ig

every other site i post on (Instagram, bsky, here) i barely have over 100 followers and even LESS interaction so i kinda feel less inclined to update on those places

of the available soc media rn, i do like tumblr the most bc even if theres no instant likes/reblogs on a post, some pieces circulate weeks, even months, after i post and still get traction-- its encouraging

my posts arent 'dead' after the first 15min, my artwork still has life

well... the most recent update for That Post about trying to become a creator on That Website? testing to see how much of a pain for followers on twit/inst and holy crap did i forget what a shitstorm it is once i leave the safety of my main id.

there are seriously suspect ‘follow back’ threads and hashtags and it’s nothing but spam and complaints about the following back system? i’m not sure about that one? but i did see it popup a few times. The threads are completely useless, so i am assuming that is why they are complaining.

I did confirm that the goth world does follow back more regularly on twit but i don’t know why.

ig is... god awful because of fb. i am pretty sure there is a way to bait bots to follow but they might have actually fixed that? or i just haven’t liked the right photo yet. I already cleared out the bots on my main ig so... oops? XD

i am pretty sure that the gemstone sellers just prowled around and followed anyone that liked and image of anything but that was probably because i used to prowl around the gemstone pics and i just... don’t anymore?

one way or another i will eaither find the minimum follower count that That Site looks for... or i will figure out how many attempts you have to apply to it. either of which i will be sharing.

I know its not his fault but I dislike zach a lot. He seems so boring and plain. Im glad demar has a friend in him but people being worried hes gonna replace kyle in some way? What demar loves about kyle (the asshole!)...zach cant compete lol

LMAO i get what you mean! Like it's nothin' personal but like... it's definitely a Shift. Deebo went from being paired with big biting personality to ... looks nice i guess. It's not zachs FAULT, of course, he's a good GUY. He's just like.. you know.. has that quality some good guys have where they're so.. 'Okay' you don't really wanna delve more into it. I don't Mind him, but i don't Love him.

He gives off main character energy where he's good at a lot of things, is pleasant but kinda tired with publicity, knows how to handle things etc.. & then deebo, one half of our favorite, 'for goofs by the writers but is actually really loved by the fandom', noncanon queerbait side character couple Kyle/Demar , suddenly ends up paired with Zach instead... and like. It's Nice?? it's Cute??? Zach's GOOD but he's not.. KYLE. He doesn't have Kyle's grumpy lil asshole man personality. And he doesn't have to, and it's not his fault. But it definitely makes it jarring to see the difference and be able to more easily point out all of those differences. All the things you like less than the og, etc

Kyle (the asshole) <- so true!!!! It's like... deebo I thought you liked the mean little men :( who is this... Ken doll you're with? LOL it's definitely Different. Zach HAS a more playful side to him and he's deeper than i define him, but it's like... idk. He's just so Okay to me i don't care enough TO define him any deeper than i see him already. And that's not his fault !! that's just my reason for it and that's okay too as long as i don't unfairly hate him for things i don't even know about !! It's just jarring to see!
