Since the Glastonbury Festival is still on, here's a throwback to 2013 when I created the artwork for Seed & Bean's Limited Edition festival chocolate, as well as three bespoke prints

Here's a pile of McDonald's "clamshell" sandwich containers from the '80s. Sometimes, trash is treasure.

I would like a word with whoever manufactures the glue used on cardboard food packaging these days because I'm trying to open this box of cream cheese and it is NOT disability friendly
Like its bad enough just spreading the cream cheese fucks with my tendonitis & carpal tunnel why do i need to risk ending up in Valhalla just by trying to open it

"OLD-TIMEY PORK RINDS"
Low carb snack of the afternoon, featuring Anatomically Improbable Danish Butcher!
(Plus, what I can't quite decide if it's supposed to represent kidneys or lungs. 🤔 May be better off not knowing, in a universe where arms work that way.)
Tumblr media
I've had this type before, if not from this particular brand. They are more like the puffy default US pork rinds, but with a crunchier layer left on which is what's making them curl that way.
Not bad at all. And thankfully not coated in wheaty shit by default, like the jaw-breaking British kind. 😒

What type of packaging is good?
When considering packaging, several factors contribute to determining what's "good." Firstly, functionality is key. The packaging should protect the product, maintain its integrity, and be easy to handle. Sustainability is increasingly important; eco-friendly materials and designs reduce environmental impact. Aesthetic appeal matters too, as attractive packaging can enhance brand perception and attract customers. Practicality is crucial for consumers; easy-to-open and resealable packaging adds value. Lastly, cost-effectiveness is essential for businesses; finding a balance between quality and affordability is crucial. In summary, good cardboard food boxes is functional, sustainable, visually appealing, practical, and cost-effective.
