So, I’m at the part of my weight loss where I’m feeling good, moving around without much pain and feeling better about myself. More confidence & finally feeling like I actually matter. So confident that I’ve started to eat whatever I want as if it somehow doesn’t matter.

This is my reminder that deep down inside is still a very obese girl just waiting for her chance to reappear. I have GOT to be mindful of what I eat, stop when I’m “full” and stay on top of my mental attitude & outlook on food. I can still enjoy life but have to stop placing food as such a high valued part of it. Food truly is my addiction and is for me what a junkie craves from that next hit. So much help out there for addicts & alcoholics but very little for those of us with food issues. It makes me want to start doing some sort of podcast.
